Thanks for the information. There's actually a lot of airdrops that turns to scam after a certain period so its really hard to identify which one will give us some token and which one will not. As long as an airdrop doesn't require KYC then I am okay to join them as KYC will only make everything complicated.

The airdrop give people free tokens but with many cheats there. The spreading work u do worth that money, be careful.

That's why people shouldn't jump on every Airdrop. It's better to join bounties than Airdrops because you get a fair share for the work you do.
Yes people need to triple check it before fill out the airdrop form. Indeed join bounties is more reliable to get the token. thanks for sharing also we need another section in this forum dedicated to scams and frauds which is regularly updated for our safety

I like airdrop but after I know like this so be more careful again if there is airdrop and better follow the social media campaign or signature campaign.More careful again from now on airdrop

maybe a stupid question but, what problem could you get from a scam airdrop? If you use simple sercurity steps like setting up new email/eth Adress/twitter/telegram Account etc., ist there still a risk left? Of course you should never send someone coins for a Airdrop.
We don't know what they are aiming with those scam, but I suggest to stay away because who knows what can they do tho |

I think that there is no best method to know wheter an AIRDROP is a SCAM. But the best way to avoid being scam by it is not to invest on it. I have joined a lot of Airdrops but if it requires an amount of donation i always turn it down. Because what i know about Airdrops is that it is for free.

I believe you specially about pro token, our hard works get no compensation. Actually, we didn't know where's scam or not because each airdrop look's same for me. Easy work and get payment make me become airdrop hunter but decides to leave it now. If you have other information about scam airdrop or maybe ICO program please share with us and thank you very much. As you can see, I provide the proof from real team Twitter. Both of them said they are not conducting any airdrop. So do you think you will get the token from who if not from the dev/team? Thanks for pointing out this issue with Airdrops. I have been in some occasions scammed by this Airdrop groups flying here and there. They will ask you to donate from 0.05 - 1 Ether as donation to support the listing of the coin. Once they get the money off the people that will be the end of the Airdrop. Please guys any Airdrop that require a donation please do not do it.

How can airdrop itself be a scam? Of course, if they asking for some kind of deposit before airdrop - it's definitely a scam. there will be 2 options - the will get away with all money r3eceived or try to create Ponzi scheme.
It is a scam because the ANN thread mention a token like BAT. But it's not from official team of the token. We don't know what they are aiming. But better to stay away from it. |
