421  Other / Off-topic / Re: HOW TO GET STARTED MINING...? on: July 30, 2016, 06:14:28 PM
Mining is with hardware and it is very difficult at this point and not very economical. If you really want to learn how mining works, then I would suggest buying a cheap USB asic miner and experiment with it. You could always mine alt-coins and convert to Bitcoin.

Cloud mining, in my opinion, is more of an investment and in some cases flat-out Ponzi schemes. That doesn't mean legitimate cloud mining services don't exist, but know that there is a big difference between the two.

Exactly that! grab some usb miners just to see how its done, dont expect profit from that, even with 6 USB erupters (300Gh/s ) you can make more money in 45min than with them in 1 day,
buying a decent mining equipment you have to calculate your power cost / ROI and profit for every month so its quite messy for a newbie, focus to learn how crypto works,

Stay away from cloud mining ! far far away!!
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | ICO - 20% Bonus ends in 4 days | New Blockchain Platform on: July 30, 2016, 06:03:00 PM
Guys, a couple of clarifications:

1) About the escrow, we believe that using an escrow adds nothing to our proposal. We are going to 100% with Opair, giving our identities from the beginning, because we trust in what we do. And we risk that the escrow, which is a person we do not know, decide not to release the funds. You have to keep in mind, there were many large projects that did not use escrow given the legitimacy of its creators. On the other hand, there are many people here in the forum using fake escrow, as you well know. In short, that led us to make this decision.

Regards

Well i respect your choice , dont want to FUD or anything, ill buy from a dip then ! watching this..
best of luck to your project !

I like the concept of this coin plus their is a sr member posting from his account and not from a newbie,
i dont like the ICO & no escrow?!
fix please the escrow issue and maybe ill jump in!  watching that
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between ETH and ETC? on: July 30, 2016, 12:30:15 PM
ETC is an old original immutable ethereum blockchain with smart contracts
ETH is forked Proof-of-Vitalik mutable chain
I'm supporting ETC by solo-mining.

whats your hash ?
managed to get any blocks yet ??
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between ETH and ETC? on: July 30, 2016, 07:56:37 AM
The main difference between Ethereum Classic and the current Ethereum implementation is that the classic blockchain did not return any of the funds that have been siphoned off from the DAO.
The question is now, which one shall prevail ?!?!
what do you say guys ??
426  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-e a shaddy exchanger screams - "scam" on: July 30, 2016, 07:35:41 AM
Ethereum Classic is a Scam, it's saying BTC-e, a well known unlicensed exchanger, with NO real office, no address, no nothing Smiley

https://cointelegraph.com/news/major-bitcoinethereum-exchange-ethereum-classic-is-a-scam

you need to be cad to have a such behavior as BTC-e...

the scammer screams scam Smiley

How is this particular "scam" one of the biggest and longest serving exchanges in Bitcoin? Whatever their drawbacks, BTC-e.com have outlasted every other exchange out there, and they still have high trading volumes and is therefore still highly relevant in the market.

Put another way: the lack of office, licence, postal address or other credentials doesn't seem to have effected their business much. For over 4 years.

yes but then again...wait to see what will happens when a hacker attack them and lost people currencys , we must learn from our past mistakes , not say hey look this time it works better ..!

428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: July 30, 2016, 06:40:32 AM
i think the best way to earning a lot bitcoin is mining, of course you need big capital to start it, but that's a reasonable, higher capital higher profit Smiley

I thought it was the Newbie forum.

This started out as a little something to use my Pi for and maybe make a little change.

So what would be a good setup for mining ?

I will re post  to the Newbie Forum
Dan

The hash speed is terrible , thats what im saying yo can make more btc per day from a faucet site than with your usb minersm they are too old and slow, take that in mind

Please suggest me a better card .

Not for mining Its for gaming .

I saw that 1060 is low in performance as compare to 970
But 1060 is the latest version and may give better benchmarks in newer games?

go for 1060 better score everywhere 3d mark11 , and 2gb more memory, and yet more tunned drivers to come
                1060             970

nice post indeed !
i believe the safest way to go with is with trading, you just need to put your @ss down and read & learn TA and move on, basics is to recognize a pumped price, & never buy shitty alt coins, last but not least dont be greedy !!
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: July 29, 2016, 02:06:39 PM

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: where to buy GPUs in Miami?? on: July 29, 2016, 01:43:45 PM
It may sound stupid.. but even having the money, you cant get what you want.

The situation is that i´m a tourist having a few days in Miami. Having a different shipping and billing adress for your buys is sometimes a pain in the @ss..

Amazon.. problems..
BestBuy.. problems..
Ncixus.. guess what.. no luck.

I´m not even looking for RX480. I want some 1070s to test them.

Any ideas or places to try with stock or fast shipping, accepting Visa/Amex from a foreigner ??
Is Newegg still acepting BTC?

thanks!

yes Newegg still accepting BTC and they have fast deliverys !
also they have in stock RX480

436  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ModoBot.com open enrollment on: July 29, 2016, 01:35:21 PM
This looks cool but I really think you should have creates a better post with an image or something. I looked at the offer it seems fair and ok. I will test it using the trial and make my mind up from there but I'm pretty excited even if it is just to test.

With you service like free trading bot, would that guarantee that we can profit in trading? If you can answer me with a positive answer maybe I would try your service as I am interested in making money.

So you two guys are going to trust a free bot to do your trades ? And that offering on bitstamp unlimited trades..
because you have to give your APIs to the bot in order to work...
no way! thanks but no thanks!  Cool
437  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why robots on yobit allow to place small orders? on: July 29, 2016, 11:45:45 AM
hello,

i see robots on yobit that are buying coins in amounts of 4 satoshi per order, while the human traders can only place order which is more than 10,000 satoshi.

why is that?

hey there, its called small buys in order not to peak the market before its time, or maybe make the market blink in order to draw attention,  there is a big chance also buying from there orders to increase volume slowly but steady..
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 29, 2016, 09:39:50 AM
It seems more and more ICO's turn out to be scam recently. They play long games, delay everything, slowly unloading their coins and then dump the rest. I hope Waves is different that the few other ones but current situation resembles the ones that happened recently with other coins. Let's hope this one will turn oyt different but I am getting more and more doubtful.

I hope the same also this coin to be different but take a moment and think..
on all alt coins how do you calculate your profit ? on BTC ofc! what currency do you need to invest ,trade , or you can fiat (wrong option)
if BTC price/volume is trends downwards whats the trend on 99% of alt ?
so its all about money or even better its all about Bitcoin!
Yes there is a chance for a coin to go big and skyrocket on capmarket , decent, whale support, community support (which dont really matter ) because people are after the trends of a market,
so my pov is if you believe in a coin go in early and make profit early where marketcap has room to grow fast, or if you believe on the long run, buy it and hold it (dont look back)  Cool
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 29, 2016, 09:27:50 AM
I would like to take the time to thank the OP for this fantastic new coin.  I mine and collect cryptocoins.  I actively mine 7 different coins at the moment and control the keys to around 12 different cryptocoin wallets, inc, ETH and the new original ETC as well as many others.

@OP Thanks bud, I have had a wonderful time mining and collecting your coins.  You are good at computing but your game theory sucks!  You had the opportunity to finish your degree until Peter Thiel tempted you to drop out of university for a measly sum of $100,000.

I had to drop out of university in the final year of my BSc (Hons) because both the cost of tuition fees and transport costs forced me into Bankruptcy.   I would have loved to have had my Honors Degree and Bachelor of Science.  I was only 9 months away from passing with First Class Honors.

Well what's done is done. I'm a miner now and my game theory is better than yours.  I have had so many sh*ts and giggles over ethereum.  The entertainment value has been priceless but boy you are dumb!

But what times do we live in where money has become more important than wisdom, knowledge, education and enlightenment?

You are half Russian and you let capitalism own you! You are young. I am old.  But here is a message from this mad old woman... remember this; all the money you make... it will never buy back your soul.  Get your ass back to school, you need to work harder on that Game Theory of  yours, knowledge is not wisdom.

My concern is ... where is Vitalik ? last login was a month ago Last Active:    June 30, 2016, 03:12:02 AM
from my exp this is not a good sign..
