Definitely not dead, been emailing a lot of exchanges, no response from yobit yet, been looking into getting a block chain explorer too.

You probably need to do this first.

Most big exchanges will not add it without one.

Yobit might but also try cryptopia

A smaller exchange like these will be your best luck for now.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] MasterDoge [MDOGE] | Scrypt | Launch in 2 hrs on: June 29, 2015, 01:25:02 AM
Seems like the MN is way too small if it is only 20,000 to run one. If it is that number people can have plenty from the get go.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITCREDIT | NEW BANKNODES | UPDATE 6/15/15 on: June 25, 2015, 07:05:16 PM
Now just looking for a way to filter my ip in the BN list (I will try the VPS later) for now just want to run it from the wallet to see how it goes.

Thanks

My 'highlight any BNs in the list if found in mybanknodes.txt' thing seems to be working perfectly on linux, should work fine on Windows and Mac too as I use the internal calls for getting the default data dir.

Basically just stck a mybanknodes.txt file in the same directory as your wallet, with a BN address on each line.

As I mentioned before it filters for pubkey, which is invariant, not IP, which can be wrong. I suppose I could just highlight the whole row...

Image tags currently no workey so
http://i58.tinypic.com/2nsu9sw.png

Of course from the CLI you can just './bitcredit-cli banknode list | grep xx.xx.xx' or whatever.

Thanks for the reply thelonecrouton.

I am a little slow but trying to understand this.

Your part I highlighted will filter my ip? When I start the BN and look in the Bank Network I can see my IP and Port that it is running from. SO doing what is highlighted will filter that? If so I am not for sure what the "CLI" is for.

Or doing the "mybanknodes.txt" by putting my BN address in will filter it out?

Sorry, just confused.

EDIT: Is this a way or any to hide my IP address in the BN list?

@bitcreditscc and @thelonecrouton

Got everything going correct and yes I had too big of transactions in Coin Control. That is a PITA with all the small transactions.

Set up BN instead of using the tab. Now just looking for a way to filter my ip in the BN list (I will try the VPS later) for now just want to run it from the wallet to see how it goes.

Thanks

what to do?
Code:
could not allocate vin for collateral address

What were you doing that produced this error?

Looks like this is an error when trying to start a BN in the wallet that is not properly funded.

Go ahead and create a BN and start it and you will get the message.

On a side note having all kinds of issues with the wallet (0.30.16.8final and 0.30.16.8b) when trying to send to BN address it takes forever and then I get a message that transaction amount is too large.

If I click on it while waiting because I think it did not send it freezes and I have to restart the wallet.

Have to restart the wallet about 5 or 6 times and when it finally does it resyncs to wallet from day 1.

Right now the wallet should be the main focus of this project. We should not have to redownload the block chain or add this or delete that to get it to work correct.

Are you using coin control?  The reason it sort of freezes when you send is because you have a ton of inputs, likely from mining and having a BN. To avoid this, select the inputs you want to spend in coin control and it will be immediate.

Fixing the wallet is one of any things that need doing, but as you know the developers are few and far between. However this is a priority because if it performs this slow then it can never run a useable colored coins engine.

Same thing using Coin Control. Still takes forever.

Do you have any idea why my second BN that is up and running just shuts off after about 30-40 minutes of running?

Why does the BN in the wallet disconnects?

It runs for about 30 minutes to an hour and shuts off.

429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITCREDIT | NEW BANKNODES | UPDATE 6/15/15 on: June 24, 2015, 12:54:59 PM
currently investigating why BNs only see themselves, like version issue.

My wallet seems to also be having a really hard time connecting to the network.  Do we have a list of addnodes we should hard code into conf?

Thanks,

From dragos_bdi conf

addnode=198.52.160.59
addnode=198.52.160.60

@antonio8

If you are talking about starting a remote server BankNode where wallet.dat is empty and all coins you got in local wallet from which you start a BankNode then it works almost as in dash guide https://dashtalk.org/threads/taos-masternode-setup-guide-for-dummies.2680/

But still have some problems to start it, when local has in conf listen=0 and server got listen=1, it still starts locally, when server got listen=1 and local listen=1, then it starts also locally.

Thanks for the reply

I will look into that guide.

@ bitcreditscc

Can we not run the BN straight from the wallet?

@georgem

Silly question about the Vanity Gen.

If we close the wallet and then restart it does the wallet pick back up the search at that point or does it restart the search all over?

Thanks

I can't seem to make a SPR vanity address, I can't enter text. Huh

Here is the explanation that helped me.

RELEASE 1.53--

I get 10.45Mh/s on my GTX 960 SSC mining quark.  This is with the intensity at 24, and an overclock of +80/240, core/mem. Intensities of 24.1 or higher fail on launch, and most often crash the driver.

I was getting 10.6Mh/s with -i 23.7, and OC of +100/300, core/mem, but it became unstable in the last few versions.

The Lyra2 perfomance really puzzles me, though.  It should run faster than a 750ti.       --scryptr

I have the same issue. I have a Evga GTX960 SSC 4GB and it is slower than my 750ti SC 2GB. I am on Windows 7 64 bit.

Can you guys post a few Hashrates, and what CPU you use... I am curious.

@wr104

I take it you pulled the v0.6.0 since the git shows a version 5.1

Any ways why so long on the new block to take effect? Just curious as to why 70 days and not say 30.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (official thread) on: June 21, 2015, 10:45:40 PM
Ok. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I can't input anything in the Add Pattern field under the Vanity Gen Tab.

Is there a trick to it?

Only valid SPR characters are allowed.

The first letter can only be a capital S (since all SPR addresses need to start with an S), it will not allow you to type anything else.

The second letter also has a few restrictions, not all characters are allowed there (also SPR specific).... but after the 3./4. letter you can pretty much type whatever you want as long as it is a base58 character:

123456789abcdefghijkmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZ

Notice that 0 (Zero) and O (capital o) aren't allowed,
and I (capital i) and l (small L) are also not allowed.

The program will tell you the allowed characters based on the cursor position, see... the "Allowed @X:..." text to the right of the "Add patterns" button.

Awesome.

Thanks

@antonio8:
You're on a (bad) fork. A quick fix, is to delete your blockchain data, and run the old client (not the one with updates from Vertoe). You'll forcibly resync to the proper chain. Always do a wallet backup, etc, etc  Smiley

Damn, was afraid of that.

Thanks
