Been mining with a spare computer at 250mH/s for fun on Hackshard since the launch and only received 14 Fox coins. Does that sound right? Something seems messed up there.

Relax the site will be back up when its ready. He was having some issues earlier and probably fixing it. If he was going to scam everyones money he would wait and add more coins until he could max out. It would be absolutely stupid to scam right now.

Im really really excited about this coin, my goal is to accumulate 10million digibytes. I bought and transferred the coin to my wallet and couldn't believe my eyes. It was in my wallet like in an instant. I had to double check to make sure. Wow, that was incredible..every other coin I wait from ten minutes to half an hour. This coin has a lot of potential in the real world where transactions demand instant confirmations. Nice.

You guys need to add a trollbox in the trading section. It would add much more entertainment and probably keep people interested and on your site longer. Just as long as you have filters to keep out the spam, etc...

So you will provide a list of pools exactly at time of launch? It would be nice if the information is available at least an hour before launch so everyone can start at the same time but I guess no big deal. Hopefully, you can recommend only pools that are legit because apparently there have been a lot of scamming going on with pop-up pool owners. Would make your coin more legit to start with only known reliable pool operators.

I'm kind of new to altworld. Can someone explain to me, will there be a list of pools I can connect to or does this have to be solo-mined? Will the GPU miner be available exactly at time of launch or a few hours before launch so everyone can be prepared to launch at the same time?

this. Innovations? LOL I think we are all past that phase now. These altcoins don't trade on innovation, they increase in value or go to die based on dev support and they have their rep on the line so I fully expect this to be one of the few coins that survive and possibly thrive. |

I think Bumface was just being a good guy and wanted to reward people who were willing to put up money in advance regardless of the bid. He could have let the bidding go crazy once he saw it was overbid and try to maximize his gains but he didn't. Why can't everybody see that? You snooze you lose. Get over it. |

why did you sell when the total orders where 1.6 million? why didnt you wait untill january 27 like you said was the final day for bidding then sell down from highest offer to lowest offer untill 1.6 million are gone. that is the way it should have been. you say you didnt want to be greedy but this way you are more greedy. you were so greedy that you sold as soon as there was enough to sell . you were too greedy to wait do for a fair bidding. and by the way the reason people bid higher than 0.00005 is because they thought it was a proper bidding system where you would sell from highest to least at the end of the bidding. the didnt expect you to sell as soon as the number of bids totaled 1.6 million coins. if they knew you were going to sell and close bidding when 1.6 million total coins were wanted then they would easily just buy for 0.00005. you lied. Bumface, can you ban this guy for 10000m? |

Having a small group of investors owning large chunks of any coin that is pre-mined and pre-sold is a recipe for disaster. Mass dumping will ensue at first sign of profitability. As soon as the prices of any coin that is pre-mined and pre-sold starts to go downwards, mass exodus will ensue. I'm new to mining but after seeing so many of these tactics repeated over and over again, I was hoping that a larger base, even if doesn't include myself, which was the original intention of the bidding system. However, I feel a small group of larger investors got the most coins because they sold out so quickly. To me, I see that's just asking for trouble and adds more risk and volatility to the coin where it could have been marginalized by spreading the coins out more evenly. Anyways, hope for the best and hope people don't start dumping immediately like every other coin that has been pre-mined, forget about the pre-sale.
i understand what you are saying, but those stakeholders are the owners of those coins, they can do with it what ever they want, including dumping. Having said that i ask them to sell responsibly at every ocasion, thats all i can do. I also hope people see the long term value and dont dump right away,but some people want to make a quick profit while others want to freeze it for 1 year and then come back to it... And if every stakeholder decided to dump then the price will fall to its real value, and then we can move on in steady growth.My real priority is that those people get their investment back and make some profit, because i feel responsible for their BTC. When that is done then i can feel at ease and a healty market can form. Haha, good answer. I see you on BTC-e all the time and you seem like a fair guy. I will be supporting Ultracoin from day one and hope it will be successful, unlike some of the other coins I have dealt with recently. I suspect a lot of the crying going on here is either jealousy or a me-too attitude because they saw how fast the coins sold out. Good luck on your venture, I will be with you all the way. I agree. Bumface, without changing the original terms, is it possible to renegotiate some of the larger bids of large quantities and possibly spread some out evenly over a larger base? I'm sure your ultimate goal is to have this coin succeed long term. Usually when you have investors buy and hold large chunks, they flood the market as soon as they feel profitable and move on to the next new coin with no intention of investing or supporting the coin long term. If you spread these coins more evenly and among a diverse group with smaller amounts, you can avoid the mass dumping and build a solid base. (which I think by your post was your initial intention) Hardly anyone would dump 2-5K shares and you would have a larger community of people committed with an investment in the coin and motivation to support it. Just makes a lot of business sense to me, if you are looking to make this coin viable long-term, the more investors you have money invested pre-sale the more assurance you will have that they will mine and support the coin long-term. If you limit the initial investors to a small group of larger investors, you are asking to have a lot of coins dumped as soon as they hit the exchange. I think it would be reasonable to ask bids for large quantities to reduce their holdings to accommodate a larger base for the long-term success of the coin. Just my 2 ultras.  |

before you blast that coin. remember that that coin brought brand new people attention to cryptocurrencies . any kind of media helps everyone. I don't get it, can you explain your POV? How does publicity that an altcoin is basically a scam that closed down for fraud going to help the image of coins. You and I think differently. |
