421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price overvalued? Price Today: $1,827 on: May 12, 2017, 11:44:13 AM
Japan news is obviously affecting everything but this rise is officially crazy at this point. which, to be honest, makes it a bit scary to me. i think we all were expecting a rise after the big dip of earlier this year and after all the drama and FUD cleared from the community, i was also expecting an easier rise above $1000 in general, you know because below that price had already happened and everyone had targets for 2 or 3 years to sell or do something at $1000 mark but above it (like $1500) is new and nobody had any strict plans of "this is the end" kind of deal.
and that mentality alone removes a lot of the sell pressure on the market and can make the rise so much easier.

Yeah this great to see on one hand but it's also a bit too fast how we move up at the moment.
Imo the market may try to push to $2000 and then some correction may happen.Hopefully not too much.
Japan is definitely kicking in as fuel for the price rise. Australia by the way is going to remove goods and service tax on bitcoin and other crypto currencies soon. This may push the price a bit as well.
Yes the price has reached much higher than what it was predicted to be.Its a little bit scary. But we could definitely say that bitcoin price is not manipulated this time.developments in japan and Australia may be one of the main reason for this price increase.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: [April iamnotback] Bitcoin will be $800 in one month! on: May 12, 2017, 11:23:46 AM
Yes new traders should not follow the market blindly. They should do the analysis of their own and then decide whether to enter or exit the market.Today in social media, most of people want to force their ideas over other people by creating many alt accounts. So be careful before taking decisions.
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $3000 By The End Of The Year on: May 12, 2017, 11:19:21 AM
Strong demand in Japan where it is now deemed a legal means of payment is among many factors pushing the price higher. Great article:

https://www.finextra.com/newsarticle/30527/bitcoin-set-to-go-boom
At first,2017 year's target was $2000 and it would be soon achieved. If bitcoin price rises continuosly in this speed, then for sure we can say that bitcoin price would even exceed $3000 by the end of 2017 due to mass adoption of bitcoins.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop to $1200-$1500 on: May 12, 2017, 11:14:11 AM
I was planning to sell my coins for $2000,- /btc and then hoping that it would drop to around $1500,-.

Is this realistic or is bitcoin not going to drop soon? If it's not going to drop, should I buy more? I dont really need my money now & can afford to buy more.

btw. Im a beginner Smiley

Thank you!
Sure it seems that bitcoin price will reach $2000 by the end of this month.I think bitcoin price would not drop to even $1500 as we can see more countries accepting bitcoin payments and more people willing to buy more bitcoins. So it would be better if you buy bitcoins now itself.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin price will crash again in 2017? on: May 12, 2017, 09:07:42 AM
I think that bitcoin price will increase more soon crossing $2000.One month before, the crash in price occured due to BU and hard fork issues which were promoted by some persons like Roger ver to fill their pockets with altcoin pump.I think such issues will not come any more as people have realized the true potential of bitcoin.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: China is coming back to the game, moon? on: May 12, 2017, 08:38:01 AM
I don't think China can easily retain the lost control that China had over bitcoin in the past. China once made the fake volume to generate the market value which too made it downfall in their own economy. Right now without any external influence the price move is quite good and will reach peak values.
Definitely, even if they return, they will not be able to gain control ovr the market as before. If they try to dump the price by selling their bitcoins at lower price, then they would end with loss of their holdings as people all over the world are well aware of bitcoin's potential.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying More Bitcoins on: May 12, 2017, 08:31:36 AM
Hi,

I just bought more Bitcoins, as it was under 1000$, do you think that it was a good choice?
thats is goos thay you bought some bitcoin when the price is low that is a good choice for you because the bitcoin price right now is unexplainable hahaha bitcoin price rapidly increasing.

Continue to buy bitcoin can give a good gain. Current bitcoin price has broken predictions international economic experts. Bitcoin invites happiness laughter holder.

I agree, there are still  some major companies in Japan that is waiting for their licenses so they can join the Bitcoin economy.  I agree on buying more BTC because it will continue to increase in price.  Aside from that the only holding Bitcoin back is the scaling problem, but it was outweighed by the hype of this good news about bitcoin adoption.

Yup. Buying more is the only logically option because of the price increase. Although for some, buying at the high price is not good. But as for me, if you are going to invest into bitcoin, invest it for long term because the price is going up and it is very stable. Japan, Australia Switzerland are all going to hype it even more. So expect a good price, so buying is a good option now.
Sure, you are reaping the benefits now.You bought it for $1000 and its now $1804.Also if you bitcoins now in such a high price, then you should not expect short gterm benefits and it should be a long term investment. If you need short term benefits, you could choose an altcoin instead.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 12, 2017, 06:28:01 AM
Bitcoin could be called both as money and commodity.
Since people invest in bitcoins with the idea of getting more returns,it could be considered as a commodity.
But at the same time, bitcoin could be used for buying goods and could be easily transferred like currrency.Hence, bitcoin could also be considered as money.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2017, 06:12:06 AM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
The biggest disadvantage is the high transaction fees which would stop new companies to accept bitcoin as payment.
The volatile nature of bitcoin price is another reason due to which most merchants avoid bitcoin payments.
Since bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, most merchants fear that their transactions would be traced by government authorities.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price would you stop buying Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2017, 06:03:00 AM
Its already very high.I have already stopped buying bitcoins.Last price was $900 when i bought bitcoins. Now im just holding my bitcoins as price is rapidly increasing.I hope it would reach $2000 by the end of this month.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's elite behaves just like the old banking elite on: May 12, 2017, 05:10:29 AM
It is true that the miner fees are increasing and somehow it even reach as high as 3 dollars per transaction. But to say that bitcoin is dead is not true. If you notice what Japan did in bitcoin transaction, a large exchange has an application that will be used by almost all Japanese and if the Japanese will use the same app in exchanging bitcoins then they will not suffer a huge fee instead they can make a transaction free or in a lower fee.
Its really a great idea so that bitcoin users need not pay higher transaction fees and continue using bitcoins.I think technologically advanced japanese have once again shown a new way to solve higher transaction fee problem
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problem Bitcoin volatile Nature on: May 12, 2017, 05:03:51 AM
As one of the best part or advantage of this cryptocurrency is we can transfer the money from one place to another place within a minute or in some seconds.

My question is, as bitcoin has highly volatile nature, after sending the money to my friend if it suddenly goes down then its a big problem in this case my does not get the money that he needed, and I have to send bitcoin again.

how to save yourself with this kind of situation.
If you want to avoid such situation, then you have to send your bitcoins with high transaction fee so that your transaction would be confirmed quickly. With higher transaction fee, your transaction would be confirmed within 30 minutes.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin becoming out of reach on Common Man on: May 11, 2017, 04:28:20 PM
nobody is forcing the "Common Man" to buy 1 whole bitcoin. there are 8 more zeros after the decimal point and they can choose any amount they want to buy.
1BTC= 100000000 sat

and besides there should be a difference between someone who didn't listen to the FUD of others and bought when it was cheap and someone who did listen to FUD and didn't buy or sold his coins.
Absolutely.Bitcoin is divisible into 8 digits and the common man could even buy 0.00000001 btc which would be easy for him.People who kept their trust earlier in bitcoin were winners and they deserve it.They gave their support to bitcoin community while most people at that time were repeatedly saying Bitcoin is dead.Bitcoin deserves this price and much more.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: African country adopts Bitcoin as primary currency on: May 09, 2017, 08:28:22 AM
Uganda would be the first african country to regulate Bitcoin. If it regulates,it would be followed by kenya. In nigeria, due to failure of local currency, most people have started using bitcoins.Since africa is such a big continent having many countries,it would be much useful for bitcoin progress if they adopt bitcoin.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: May 08, 2017, 04:00:33 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I always store my bitcoins in my electrum wallet. Its safe.More over,we can set our transaction fees manually.A seed is generated for our password and it can be used to recover our account in future in case of laptop damaged.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 08, 2017, 03:30:45 PM
In early stages of bitcoin, mining was the best source as mining was easily done even with CPUs at that time. But now it has become very difficult to mine and we need powerful ASICs to mine bitcoins. So,today trading is the best and legit source of bitcoins. But trading is also risky. So it should be done carefully.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 12:30:49 PM
Global Digital bank WB21 accepts bitcoins. No other bank is found to accept bitcoins.Banks see bitcoin as their main rival. So they don't accept bitcoins. But in future, due to extreme increase in popularity of bitcoins and market pressure, banks may start accepting bitcoins.
