421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not to banned or rejected on: November 03, 2018, 01:17:00 PM
it is funny how people love to focus on a "rumor" that is not even true and never even pay attention to hundreds of good "news" which are actually real and happening to bitcoin these days. for example did you know how Lightning Network has grown in the past couple of months? do you know the shops that have been accepting payment through it?!!!
nobody talks about them! but you say some nonsense about India or China and everyone gets hot Cheesy
I'm also confused why negative news is easier to popular than positive news? whereas if the positive news becomes popular it will certainly make the market better and make profit for you, nowadays people prefer their stance to be alert, so they are prepared to receive bad news than positive news. but btw not all countries ban bitcoin

The human nature is quick to spread what isn't true compare to facts and genuine info! Quite unfortunate people spread much of their spreading info that cause them more havoc on the long run.  Bitcoin isn't just every other cryptocurrencies, it is is distinct on it's own and no how much they tried, it can never be banned.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to withstand whales? on: November 02, 2018, 10:14:29 PM
Hey guys, just found a mind-blowing article about whales and "skype trading".

Quote
A small group of about twenty over-the-counter (OTC) traders and clients including big investors, miners, payment processors and hedge funds, has reached a monthly trading volume worth billions of dollars. Instead of using an online exchange like Coinbase or Kraken, the participants close major deals chatting on Skype and settle them by sending fiat via bank wires and cryptocurrency directly to each others’ wallets.......

So in December, when common people sold houses and cars or took loans in the bank and bought bitcoin during its unprecedented growth, bankers quietly sold all the bitcoins out of the exchange at high prices, and this did not affect the exchange rate, but when not over-the-counter areas were over, they came to the stock exchanges and the remains of bitcoin were already sold on open exchanges, causing a price collapse.
If a whale wants to buy bitcoin for $ 500 million and go with this amount to the one of top 5 exchanges, such as Poloniex or Binance, he can in one trading session, push the rate one or two thousand dollars up, and that's exactly what he does not need.

What are your suggestions??? I think the only way is just HODL despite the fact of price collapse.

Good analysis made but I don't think the best option is to Hodl because while Hodling, price would have dropped drastically and you might not be able to get back your entry price and maybe forced to sell at ridiculously much more lower rates! I would recommend you cut loss as soon as you notice red coming in then buy back at lower rate then sell off much later when there's a pump.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: November 02, 2018, 04:37:03 PM
When people talk about the benefits of bitcoin over Fiat money, one of the biggest advantages is that bitcoin is more secure and the bank has not control over your money. Generally, people talk about the lack of 3rd party.
Give some examples of the problems with banks you have faced that there wouldn't be if cryptocurrencies existed that time.

Terrible long queue which result to wasted time and top it up, rude customer service personnel addressing you as if they are doing you a big favour!

But with the blockchain technology, I run my show without stress and security is guaranteed.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 0x is holding up in the crushing bear market compared to other tokens on: November 02, 2018, 12:16:02 PM
Well, the bear market has been tough on tokens. It’s pretty obvious if we take a look at the charts. When a coin sees the slightest hint of green, it’s worth noting. 0x has seen a flash of green in day-on-day trading, so we want to see how this compares over the year.

At the start of the year, 0x entered proceedings as the 59th most valuable cryptocurrency by market cap on January 7th, and traded at $1.45 USD. At the time, the cryptocurrency bore a total market cap of $695,907,214 USD.

Fast forward to the current state, and although 0x has gained traction in the position, it is now trading for only $0.822246 USD and bears a total market cap of $448,492,301 USD.

Looking at the stats, the token has lost a near 43% of its trading value over the past months, while its market cap has similarly diminished by approximately 35% amount.

While a loss is never good, 0x is in much better shape than many other tokens, such as Cardano and Monero which are facing more than 80% and 90% losses.

425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The increasing Use Cases Of Block Chain on: November 02, 2018, 07:09:28 AM
I feel 2018 is the year Bitcoin get more attention and applications in the real world. Every sector at one point or the other is using the application of blockchain technology for a smooth operation without stress. Application of the technology is wide now and it's gaining more attention.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Block Chain going to be the next internet? on: October 30, 2018, 07:13:18 PM
Blockchain is set to revolutionise the financial world by giving power to the people and I also see it as the next big shot that will happen in the global world. Surely Bitcoin will do to banks what email did to postal services.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive enemies it has created ?? on: October 30, 2018, 05:46:05 PM
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver, anti-government, debit cards and credit cards, anti-tax

How will Bitcoin survive the many enemies it has created by declaring itself a revolution in payment system and decentralization??

It's going to take a long shoot for Bitcoin to actually take over the aforementioned currencies. The first step is to gain mass adoption, which is still hanging for a while now afterwhich then how much do people use it as a means of exchange of goods and services. Aside that, I don't see anything happening soon.

431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you send bitcoins to Satoshi, if you know his Bitcoin address? on: October 29, 2018, 07:20:51 PM
Let's create a fictitious scenario where Satoshi sends a message in a way that can be validated/verified < PGP key > and he notify all of us that he is bankrupt and has no access to his coins.

If this is verified, would you send bitcoins to Satoshi, like people did with Andreas Antonopoulos?

We have seen people sending tips to Satoshi's known Bitcoin addresses and to date, bitcoin’s maiden address has received 16.7 BTC in tips, worth around $107 600. <This has never been claimed>

Will you send bitcoins and if you do, why?

If you will not send bitcoins. Why?

I can send to him in appreciation of the technology he has out in place to aid liberation of the human race from the claws of financial imprisonment. Truly a selfless service is actually worth rewarding
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand’s SEC Warns Investors Against Unregistered ICO Investment Risk on: October 29, 2018, 04:38:04 PM
Good to see OneCoin and OFC Coin on that list of scams. We been warning people about this for a while.

These two coins mentioned are very obvious that they are scam right from the very beginning but the human nature wouldn't permit some supporters of them to believe so.

Thus, such warning is needed consistently to inform newbies that are getting more knowledge about the cryptospace.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Thailand’s SEC Warns Investors Against Unregistered ICO Investment Risk on: October 29, 2018, 04:51:45 AM
Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a warning to investors against putting their money into initial coin offerings (ICOs) that are not recognized and authorized by the SEC. On Oct. 25, the Bangkok Post reported that the Thai market regulator has warned against investing in ICOs promoted through a plethora of online media, which the SEC has neither accredited nor acknowledged.

Scam ICO Advertisements on Social Media

The Thai SEC recently conducted an investigation after discovering that a number of unrecognized sales offering digital assets and cryptocurrencies were being advertised across social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube to Thai investors. The results of the investigation revealed the existence of nine such unregistered and unrecognized ICOs namely,

Every Coin, Orientum Coin (ORT Coin), OneCoin and OFC Coin, Tripxchain Coin (TXC Coin), TUC Coin, G2S Expert ICO, Singhcom Enterprise ICO, Adventure hostel Bangkok ICO, and Kidstocurrency ICO.

435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: October 27, 2018, 09:37:19 PM
I mostly see a lot of post skirting about the issue of decrease in bitcoin market price by saying hodl, hodl of which i mostly do not get them. Assuming we all decide to hodl without any transaction that means with time btc will drain and what will be the essence of the coin. We should always be a family to embrace the state of price no matter what and ensure buying and selling in order to at least have a significant effect on market price. I hodl, you hodl and we all hodl and btc will drain just like that.

Over time, I've been able to understand that hodl is just coined to make quite a lot of people bag holders. Best is to cut loss then buy low and gain something good when the price goes up.

Applying the concept of hodl when price goes low has only made so many people bag holders whereas the whole concept.is to permit consistent transactions within the blocks.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AND LITECOIN NOW ACCEPTED AT THIS NEW JERSEY ITALIAN RESTAURANT on: October 26, 2018, 04:58:01 PM
Gradually, slow and steady, the cryptocurrencies is gaining grounds in the global world. I'm confident that in no distance time, global adoption will is absolute.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: October 22, 2018, 04:44:16 AM
There is buzz about the prospective of governments and banks accepting crypto or creating their own for its mass acceptance.

I don't think this is even worth acknowledging, as all of the present and future innovations are going to come from the private sector. Governments are just responsible for damage control, do a God-awful job for the most part and have never achieved true democracy.

In the past, people relied on governments and banks not because they're "governments" or "banks," but because they provided security.

Once AI, blockchain, and improved means to use crypto provide even better security than governments and banks ever could, whatever they do will be irrelevant.

To a reason extent it does matter. If only government had embraced the whole concept of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, then the ETF situation been around for a while now wouldn't had occurred in the first instance and more investors would have joined the train.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: October 14, 2018, 06:17:26 AM
You are absolutely right. We should not swayed  from fake news. Actually we need not follow someone blindly. When fake news are spread, it effects on people's mind.We should raise our voice against fake and stupid news.

Quite unfortunate that in the quest of getting adequate info, most and easily spread ones are fake and most investors blindly believe such info and ended making terrible decision for themselves. It's high time such fakes news be pull down as soon as it's noticed/found.

I hope more asian countries will open doors for bitcoin.

I strongly believe with time, many Asian countries will definitely embrace the blockchain technology and would maximise it to it's full.
