422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 03, 2020, 11:29:12 AM
Will it be wise if this forum put up a request that ALL NEW PROJECTS EXPECTING TO RUN BOUNTIES SHOULD PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FUNDS BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY BOUNTY OR run an ESCROW.
The fund will be use to settle hunters should incase project owners Refuse to pay hunters Or decides to play tricks with hunters payment after a successful bounty campaign. For over a long period, hunters has been crying and wailing about successful campaigns that has refused to make payment. there are new campaigns on-going and more projects will run bounty campaigns sooner or later. the issue of payment is still a lingering problem here with No solid profound solution. Apart from the fact that some projects has the ANN Thread labelled as SCAMS, it is still do not offer solutions to payments.

the idea above is just a suggestion.. we all hope that a perfect solution will solve this issue of projects refusing to settle hunters here and will promote this platform.

I think in the forum, it is not Mandatory to use escrow for your Bounties.
but recent occurrences suggest that Bounties in the service section are mostly escrowed (that's where you get btc paying signatures)

For other Bounties, your research activities should guide you
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: March 02, 2020, 09:12:07 PM
Investment duration depends on the type of investment practices you have mastered.

Short term gain
long term gains

Quick buy/sell gains.
whichever pattern of investment you have, master it and use it wisely.
always do your own research

425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ripple fork, fake or real? on: March 02, 2020, 01:07:44 PM
I wasn't too surprised when I came across this project today claiming to be XRP fork, I remember I've seen many Eth forks in 2018 that introduced bounties but end up been a scam

Here is the link of the new bounty project that raised too many eye brow

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229448.0

426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind ALTCOINS not bouncing Back on: March 02, 2020, 12:57:48 PM
There are several reasons why altcoins refuse to bounce back, and it is normal.

When an altcoins trades at 0.2$, several traders come in and several dumps, when the altcoins climatize and price goes towards 0.01$,there are buyers buying the bottom and people selling off at loss.

If such altcoin will moon, farthest is 0.02$, with buyers at 0.01$ taking profit and leaving the token to the bottom
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stay away from Vindax on: March 01, 2020, 10:22:54 PM
It looks like this is for me lol.
Vindax actually did not steal from me, but they offended me alot of times.

I have several airdrop tokens in my wallet, which are trading on vindax, and sadly none worths 1dollars.
One reason, i don't call it an exchange, i call vindax a dumping ground.

Because i have not seen a project list first on vindax and then succeeds
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: March 01, 2020, 10:14:21 PM
Well, there is no reason to be fed up in this space. That is why we are been told to be in charge of our destinies, by keeping our wallet safe. By doing our research and be ensuring that we make the right decisions all the time.

Newbies cannot take the blame, they believe anything instantly.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: February 29, 2020, 11:35:07 PM
Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you

To begin with, any airdrop or bounty that requires you to send them money first before they send you tokens, is a NO, NO.

On no reason, should any project request for eth, private keys or other sensitive stuffs to issue out an airdrop token.

Be careful, whatever form, links and sites at which you get airdrops from.

430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 29, 2020, 11:20:56 PM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now

Well, there are two ways to this thing and the first is intent.

Do you buy a coin because it is low in price  ?? so you can buy and keep and then start hoping for a higher price than your buying price?

Do you buy a coin because it once mooned and could later moon ? hoping, waiting and holding for a future price ?

If yes, then you are wrong.

You cannot buy every altcoin at the bottom and suddenly expect a boom.

You need to arrive at a conclusive pattern, research works that drives a chart and gives you what to expect about certain altcoins in few months, weeks, etc.
Only then can you buy low, and sell high conveniently.

Mere suggestion from me, kindly do your own research and make your decisions.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 28, 2020, 02:02:16 PM
Holding of altcoins is job for professionals
because you need and must stay updated in facts and figure, monitor totally, because there could token swap any time
or blockchain relocation
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: February 28, 2020, 11:19:01 AM
Since 2018 I have seen many new projects that come into crypto space with half plan and got the rest on roadmap, developers should stop this bad habit of introducing projects that aren't finished yet because many of them only get abandoned in the end, some have bad intent of grabbing money from ICO or fundraising and run away

To all investors out there think twice before you invest your money on projects that have promising future but haven't reached half way of production already, they are mostly red flags

I personally term unfinished crypto currency projects as run away projects.
Because most of it, after crowdfunding is completed, and trading became a success, they never implement the product, just lame excuses and soon, soon, platform launch soon.

Which is why i do say, profit first, emotions / development later as an investor in crowdfunding.
My views, dyor always
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with the Kick token and it's 888888 Frozendrop? on: February 28, 2020, 11:17:01 AM
Guys, did you notice how Kick token manipulated the crypto market? A few days ago, those 888888 kick token showing 700$ worthy in my account, I checked in CMC and was shocked that Kicktoken is in top 30 rank and Marketcap is huge! Then again after 2 days, the value dumped to 120$ and I did not find the KICK token in top 80 rank in CMC! Therefore why they are giving some frozen 6 digits token to most of the crypto supporter!?

The kick token to me is a joke that shouldn't be taken serious.
Because if you read through their terms to release the free tokens, you would wonder if anyone had indeed begged to have received the token.

Lets wait until they clarify their token unlock procudures so we can fully confirm their intent.

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your assets safe as the Bull run draws nearer on: February 26, 2020, 11:39:36 PM
Dear bounty hunters, and traders in the house. The year 2020 has been positive and we have been experiencing price surge lately.

We look forward to even more price surge or a bull run in the coming weeks, but do not lose guard while using exchange platform to trade.
Always withdraw your assets from exchanges after trade.

Because some exchanges have the potential to disappear after a little price moon.

NB: Just my opinion and thoughts tonight, and i am not pointing fingers towards any exchange.
Open to be educated further more.

Thanks

Since from the beginning I entered crypto space, and started opening accounts on different exchange, my coins are all still in there, and nevere had been decreased, so I am perfectly comfortable leaving them. They would surely send me an email if theres a problem, also I have out security measures, 2fa and just to be sure my coins are all safe from being hacked. Never had the experienced on being snatched by some weird exchange.

I know it is always safe to protect your exchange accounts with sophisticated password and google authentication, But when it comes to keeping your assets safe, it deals with storing your huge or large funds in your personal wallet, could be a paper wallet or cold storage.

Because 2FA or GA only prevents your exchange accounts from hack.

Any  successful hack on any exchange or exit scam from any exchange means that the exchange and your funds and your 2fa or google authentication is gone.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 26, 2020, 11:30:33 PM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all

The virus has been a bad occurence this year, with thousands diagnosed and spreading at a really fast rate. It has caused several business to stall and affects miners equally because china for example are on extended breaks with people working from home.

I do hope the virus vanishes quickly and a cure found.

In other words, focus on your trade charts and avoid fud.
DYOR.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 26, 2020, 11:27:36 PM
Good list you have got up there.

I missed out on Stib.co round 2 and the terms for round 3 isn't too pleasing to me.

And i am enjoying the participation in Blockburn and Geoma, i hope it does end well in good rewards.

Others, can do their own researches too and join at their decision.

439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: February 24, 2020, 04:15:10 PM
If you're referring to Storiqa by STQ then it's not need to ask about it.
It shit / SCAM project since day one, YEAH i invested in it too when i was noob.

Another important golden rule about that bullshit of " buying the dip, buy it while so cheap, bla bla ba ", that doesn't mean it will go up again, not necessarily.

STQ is a dead coin since day one unfortunately, no team, nothing ... just plain bullshit scam project.

Yes you are right about stq been scam project.

I was referencing how so many peoples rushed to buy the bottom of the tokens as if it was angels that's gonna pump it lol.
Honestly, we all have to avoid unnecessary risks
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: February 24, 2020, 07:32:51 AM
Basic things happen, the tokens perish.

There is a need for investors to always wary and do more research when it comes to buying the bottom.

The typical example that comes to mind, is the STQ, several people got on the token and bought the bottom, it was shocking because i kept asking myself, who were going to buy the pump.

I guess we all know the end of STQ token ?

Always dyor and be extra cautious when buying the bottom, crypto currency investment is indeed a risk but there are avoidable losses.

I am very much open to other suggestions
