There is something about the OP topic I can't seem to place my hand around.
Bitcoin now used to send messages to space like how is that even possible or is it the blockchain technology that is used to send messages to space.
Bitcoin is a coin that can be sent from peer to peer to I don't know how the message sending would be possible

Movies are mostly fictions and imaginations brought to life especially that of the Hollywood.

 Am not much of an expert in cryptocurrency am still very much learning each day and open to correction but I have come across most people complains about cryptocurrency both here in the forum and on other social media platform.
Even in my locality you mentioning bitcoin or cryptocurrency to some set might tag you as a fraudster.
It's true that cryptocurrency has a wide range of scam activities from peer to peer scamming, exchange scamming, escrow, ico and the list goes on.

Having some simple attitude or character can help if not to completely avoid scam can help reduce it.

*be on guard(observant).. Most think cryptocurrency is a get rich scheme that every done here is to there favour. Being observant is key always question everything you don't understand cross check activities before carrying it out.

*avoid covetousness. Every one want to be successful but having an ambiguous dreams can lead you down wards. Fraudster most likely prey are does greedy ones. They offer you an enticing package(but unreal) and then you fall a prey.

* safety measures. This can range from protecting your private keys, adopting new means of protection of device like 2fa authenticator, avoid click suspicious links and attachments

*read and research... We stop learning the day we die. And ignorance is a big time disease which reading and research can tackle cultivating this habit as a newbie can be of great advantage you tend to discover more and how the cryptocurrency world functions

The OP is certainly not applying for to be a dt rather applying for a merit source so I don't see how that can discredit his application.

Bitcoin dominance is spread and very fast at that although I came into cryptocurrency late last year but from research bitcoin started gaining more recognition from early 2017 and this has been on the increase although the price has not been following suit.
I can proudly say I started my poultry farming not to long ago and I bought some chicks from a dealer with bitcoin.
Possibly in the future I would build my investment through bitcoin

Let's say every one shares the same opinion as you then the forum would have a drastic reduction in new post and an increase in reply to post which can cause huge reply pages to a particular post.
I think as some one else shares and contribute to the forum it's right that once in a while every member try to also be productive as well.

The also act as middle man when you are in a transaction with another individual shifting your important messages into trash or spam most time when you about to trade if this is allowed to continue you or the other person might make payment to the wrong person. A good constant check on your spam and trash can expose the intruder and make you aware.

*constantly change your password from time to time- let's say you first line of defense is bridged and they gain assess undetected into your email your only escape is if you change your password even if you have not noticed anything strange this act can keep them logged out or simply apply 2fa authenticator.

Always strive to be on the safe side scammers are on the lose

This is a good idea and it would help you personally from bumping into misuse of quote but still the menace would not leave the forum.
It's most times done my newbies and a good orientation would help save a user from being a quote abuser or a spammer let's also consider the forum

  Quoting someone could be to make reference to what the person had said or written.
This is helpful in the sense it directed at the issue you about to render your opinion on.
But when the quote button is misused it could become an eye sore and make any post untidy.

Simple and neat way to make a quote.
You can just quote a user and clear the message to the particular message you want to point out this would give readers a clearer view of your reply.
Or you can clear the whole message leaving the quote empty or adding a snip or bracket signifying you are quoting the whole post.

This simple method can make a post look neat and attractive to readers.

Misuse of quote is another form of spamming and should be frowned on

  There are some chronic spammers that would still get banned even in a forum for banned members. Lol
But honestly I don't think it would work out you would hardly see a member that was banned and still go there when they will nurture the thought of having another account.

And also the meta section can't be completely eradicated of ban and banned evasion
