421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think a satoshi will reach $1? If yes, in how many years/decades? on: October 28, 2017, 07:17:10 PM
Nope, it is a lot of money and it can not touch 100 million dollars, no matter what, there are too many bitcoins in circulation right now, and thinking about seeing each one 100 million is impossible, just do the maths, there are no numbers to explain that situation (21m x 100m) it is insane.
Anyway, you will always find some people who think that it is possible, but in fact, it is not going to happen because we dont even know if bitcoin will still be alive in some years from now.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mr. Thiel: Bitcoin Can Be The New Gold on: October 27, 2017, 11:36:45 PM
Of course that bitcoin has that potential, but we are still on the road, we can not say that bitcoin is going to be the new gold because that is false, there is nothing that can guarantee to see bitcoin at a stable price, it has only been increasing by a lot of money and it is scares investors a lot, so that is why it is so wrong to compare it with gold. You all know that gold has been always the main currency, and all the Money Reserves are Gold based, so there is no way that bitcoin can replace it on this kind of purposes.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOCKCHAIN PREPARING TO DO EXIT SCAM? [ATTENTION!] on: October 27, 2017, 11:12:12 PM
Has anyone noticed that transactions are taking an etternity to be confirmed? this is so annoying, i sent a payment yesterday and it took more than 8 hours to receive the six confirmations, and 1 hour to receive the first one, and i am not greedy, i payed $3,50 for the fees of that transaction, anyway, i was pacient because that payment was not urgent at all, but it is not good if we take in consideration that 8 hours is a lot of time to send money. But i will keep using bitcoin, no matter what, but i hope for it to get solved soon.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smaller coins for portfolio. Would you buy these coins? on: October 27, 2017, 11:01:02 PM
Dont buy siacoin because it is pretty dead, it could never recover from it's last dump and they are only going down day by day, so better to invest in golem or in zrx, and you will make a nice profit during the next months.
They are one of the most promising altcoins that i have ever seen on the market, and they are very, very cheap right now. Take a look at their devs, check the project and i am sure that you will like it, because it is a profitable one.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Lingers Below $6k As Post-Fork Altcoin Rally Expected on: October 23, 2017, 11:03:31 PM
I am expecting to see bitcoin going down by a few hundreds once that everybody receives their btg, but not more than $400, i dont think that bitcoin will touch $5500 or maybe a little more after all, it is showing a strong support barrier on the actual price (around $5900) so it is kinda difficult to see it going down, but of course, a lot of money will go back to altcoins again, or maybe to withdraw them as profits, but who knows, we dont know what is going to happen.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be $5,000 again? on: October 23, 2017, 10:49:54 PM
nobody knows how much it will be worth, but i dont think that it will drop to $4500 or $5000 again, we are on the next level right now, and we are so close to the $5500 mark, why would it drop that much? it is not possible at all because a lot of people would be afraid of that and would dump all their coins.
But i really hope to see bitcoin over $6000 again, this is going to be a very nice christmas present for myself haha.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the Chances of a Crypto Winter? on: October 22, 2017, 11:53:58 PM
You are right with those charts, we really need to see a good dip on the market if we want to keep seeing bitcoin at a high rate, but if a bearish trend happens then it would mean that probably in some weeks or maybe days the price is going to recover and go much more up again.
But who knows.. the price is only going up at the moment, and it looks that it will keep going by that way for much more time from now.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would an investment of 40 Million $ change the current bitcoin price? on: October 22, 2017, 11:37:21 PM
Yes of course mate, that would change all the perspective in just seconds, maybe those 40 million dollars could make bitcoin go up by a lot of money, but not much, probably if someone invest that amount of money the price will probably move from $6000 to $6050 or maybe $6100 in just a few moments, but we are seeing a lot of this pumps/dumps everyday, and it doesnt changes much, but i dont know, it is a giant amount of money anyway.
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like $6000 is just another pump and dump on: October 22, 2017, 11:22:04 PM
Probably it will go up in the next hours, we all believe in bitcoin and i really think that the price will climb again to $6200 as soon as possible. But we should think about the upcoming fork too, it is going to dump bitcoin price a little too. But we should see how it goes, anyway, i dont think that it all was just a dump and pump, because we have been hearing good news for more than two weeks, and that is the only thing that matters, the good news about bitcoin.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin even still usable for low-income and unbanked people? on: October 20, 2017, 11:53:59 PM
9 of 10 people are bancarized people, there is nobody unbanked because it is impossible, the financial system does not allow it in almost all the countries all over the world, if you dont have a bank account or you dont have a job, you are going to be someone who is like a bitcoin exchanger when you have no verifications (you can not do anything in it)
So there is no unbanked people anymore, and bitcoin still applies for those people at 100%
Probably yes, and those people who have low incomes are now earning a lot of money from bitcoin, like a friend of mine who is now earning more than two thousand dollars a month (and previously he used to earn $100 a month)
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH fork today - consequences? on: October 20, 2017, 11:27:41 PM
Looks like ethereum dropped a lot because of this fork, honestly, i didnt expect this fork to happen because i never read in this forum that a fork of eth was coming, but i wasnt holding ethereums at the moment of the fork. But i have seen the charts and it looks like the price dropped from $330 to $300 in just matter of hours, that is scary as fuck, i dont know why it dropped that much in so less time.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2017, 10:53:38 PM
That they are easy to use i guess, but one of the biggest disadvantages that i can see from it is that it is difficult to cashout or withdraw your bitcoin earnings.
It is a mess because there is no way to tell the banks or your financial system that you are earning a huge amount of money because of bitcoin , it is almost impossible to do unless you pay huge amount of taxes every month.
But it is a very nice technology, i am glad that i met bitcoin.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profits on: October 18, 2017, 11:51:20 PM
5% a day with a $100 investment! Wow! this forum is very crazy at the moment, you really expect to make 5% a day with only that little amount of money? not even Warren Buffet could do that kind of profit (he only did 21% a month in USD) So if you want to make 5% a day, better go out and get a job, because you are going to lose it by trading with false hopes and bad movements, because you are only focused in that fixed profit, and it will lead you to make mistakes during your trading day.
There are no investments who give u that return, no matter what.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: My bitcoin price predictions for the next 3 years on: October 16, 2017, 08:58:55 PM
Maybe it can go up even more, nobody knows how much will bitcoin rise in the next years, but if we use the same path that bitcoin had this year, then it is upto 400% every year, this is crazy.
But i dont know if it will get to $10k soon, maybe it will take much more time than what we think for now.
well nobody knows yet, maybe there will be a big dump and we still dont know anything about it.
we only have to wait.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ? on: October 16, 2017, 07:32:37 PM
Yes of course, but it is too early to predict it, we are going to face a lot of issues and bad news before the price touches that price, i mean, $7000 is a huge number for a lot of people, and it is not going to be easy to keep the price in that rate. Maybe it is going to be possible before the end of the year, or maybe the next one, but nobody knows when the price will be that high.
But this question has already been asked thousands of times in this board..
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling Bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 06:49:20 PM
It happens a lot of times, but it works like any other investment, not only in bitcoins.
If you make an investment of $10000 in some kind of program, and suddenly you are in losses for about $1000 or maybe more and you heard that the company is going to close, would you sell or just wait until the price of it recovers? obviously that you are going to sell.
It is called FUD, and this is why most people are dumping their coins no matter what.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: crypto strategy this week? on: October 16, 2017, 06:32:04 PM
What do you mean by strategy? i think you should change it because you are confusing a lot of people with that title. anyway, i will keep my bitcoins until october 25th, i have some Ethereum but i think that i will convert them to bitcoin so i can receive more free bitcoin gold, i will try to get more btg as i can, it is free money right?
And then i will convert btg money to ethereum or maybe i will diversify that money into other altcoins, but i dont know, it is too soon right now.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: October 16, 2017, 06:11:51 PM
It has been asked a lot of times, nobody knows if we are really on a bubble, but the price is going up so quickly, and that is why a lot of people and governments are starting to say that we are on a real bubble. And maybe it is true, only because a lot of people are joining this investment to make much more profit.
But nobody knows, maybe it can still go to $10k, maybe $20k, who knows? nobody can predict what is going to happen with it.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is comparable to gold on: October 16, 2017, 03:38:47 PM
Nah you can not compare bitcoin with gold, they are very different things and there is nothing that you can compare with them, it sounds crazy too, gold has always been one of the most stables currencies that have ever exists, and bitcoin is the most volatile e-comodditie that existed, just 400% in a year is a lot, and in gold, you might see 3% a year or maybe a little bit more.
And you also know that gold will never dissapear, and with bitcoin, you dont know that.

440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Confused about upcoming Bitcoin fork on: October 16, 2017, 03:25:21 PM
What the fk, there is a user who said that you are going to receive 10 btg per every bitcoin that you own, this is false mate, you are only going to receive the same convertion than before, 1;1, not more and not less.
And yes, if you keep them on a safe exchange you will probably receive the btg that you diserve, but maybe a few days later because exchanges need a lot of time to make the right distribution.
But if you hold them on your wallet you are going to receive them too.
