421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tips On How To Receive More Rewards In Bounty Campaigns! on: October 25, 2019, 10:56:44 AM
Becareful which bounty you want to put all effort into, if its useless project all your effort will go to waste, i think finding out if the project is good or not should be the first attempt, this year many fake bounty projects keep showing up, lets all be more careful
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOINS OR LEVERAGE ?? on: October 24, 2019, 02:00:35 PM
A clear shift on the market can be felt. Instead of trading altcoins, people nowadays are doing leverage. Maybe they got tired waiting for the new alt season.

Yesterday right before the collapse, $150 million of long positions were completely liquidated on Bitmex. Logically, it creates a sell pressure on the market and the price goes down, causing more long positions to be liquidated in a chain reaction. Of course, this is just one suggestion of why the collapse happened in a matter of just one hour.

Which one you consider better?
Leverages works for those who know how to play the game, in this type of unstable market movement you can lose your funds in leverage as well as trading, its just ridiculous if anyone is not expecting this type of market we are in now, things can't keep going right
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GUIDE AGAINST TOKEN PRICE DUMP on: October 24, 2019, 01:56:01 PM
PRODUCT NOT IDEA: No one care about your idea, we only care about your product. Stop flooding the blockchain with your idea, we all need working product on blockchain. If you are a Dev, make sure you have a working product.

CREDIBLE PARTNERS: A project with credible partners will surely have some level of support from credible crypto enthusiasts. Having credible partners can encourage the community to support such a project. Credible partners have a lot to do with the future of a project.

EXPERIENCED ADVISORS: A Dev must strive to have experienced advisors, decisions can make or destroy a project but with highly experienced advisors, a project is likely to go in the right direction.

BOUNTY MANAGER: Some project started falling right from the time of bounty campaign because of greedy bounty manager. If a project decides to conduct a bounty campaign, a good bounty manager should be employed.

REWARDS LOCKED: I will suggest that the rewards of the bounty hunters, team, advisors should be locked for a little time to stabilize the price of the token.

PRIVATE SALE: private sale token should be locked also for a little time for stability.

STAKING: Staking is one of the best ways to keep the price of a coin stable these days, so I will advise the team to introduce staking especially before the rewards of the bounty hunters, team and advisors are unlocked.

CIRCULATING SUPPLY: having small circulating supply at the beginning will no doubt help the price of a token (1% - 20%)

TOTAL SUPPLY: Personally I feel a total supply that is not much will give more room for growth in price.

GOOD EXCHANGE: It is no news that good exchange will help a good project.
The above list is purely based on research and observation, you might have a better opinion.

Hm, i like the fact that you use working product as your first point on your list, major new projects are based on ideas and nothing else so failure always come around and they put the blame on their ideas after they have cater away with huge funds
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 01:43:41 PM
There are posts around the web about how many people make huge profits of their lives investing in coins and tokens in 2017/2018 and every one was in 'wow' state, this news have make many blindly join crypto space with no single research and they are willing to take any risks investment they see
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your opinion about this investment strategy on: October 23, 2019, 01:41:00 PM
hi
I was introduced recently by a friend to the crypto world. I've been doing some reading about the reality of this ecosystem, creation of bitcoin and then alt coins, market experiences, the different projects objectives, a bit about the theory behind them incl pros and cons, and so on (I am a .net programmer and would like to think tech savvy, but had always ignored this field) and well ... I decided to invest 2K right away

I made some investment choices but then read a bit more and decided to re-balance it in the following manner:

BTC 36%
ADA 23%
XRP 21%
EOS 8%
QTUM 7%
XML 3%
ATOM 2%

On top of this, I am considering investing $250 every month (of course I will be flexible depending on markets prices but take this as an estimate) in the following proportion

BTC 50%
ADA 25%
either EOS, XRP or BCT the rest 25%
note: for some reason I am not a fan of ETH and trust in the potential of ADA much more

I am far from rich, especially because I live in a very expensive city, but I have a decent paying job and I try not to overspend; so as part of my savings strategy [for early retirement] I am saving 2-2.5K every month and transferring it to a money market account (and then CDs) so at least it can grow a bit in time (not counting growing inflation)

This good friend mentioned to me the so-called 1 BTC rule and I have been giving some thought to this idea. Purchasing 1 BTC would not be a problem [in the affordability sense] but then I think about the other tenet which talks about only investing in crypto what you can afford to lose. If I lost the invested 2K I would be really pissed off but I would get over that. Now shelling 8K for 1 BTC would not kill me either but It would certainly impact my plans for an early retirement

What is your perspective on this situation?

If i were you i will make bitcoin 50% of my investment plan and the remaining 50% on altcoins that are so responsible to the movement of bitcoin, i am talking about altcoins like bitcoincash, ethereum and litecoin and other few altcoins with good use cases
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: October 22, 2019, 11:09:22 AM
litecoin current price VS bitcoin is about 1 LTC = 0.0067 BTC

who else think litecoin will go up huge in the near future?
There is no reason to why ltc is very low against bitcoin in price now and its really a good time to buy ltc because i belief it will be around bitcoin for many years to come, UNICEF and Amazon now accept these top coins now which is a good thing, BTC, LTC and ETH are indeed capable
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Selection of coins, your thoughts? on: October 22, 2019, 11:06:27 AM
Hi All,

i have been buying a little crypto since Sept 2017, not much but some.

I have invested in the following coins and was curious to know what you guys think of my portfolio? Can i get rid of some coins or add?

1) BTC
2) NEO
3) WAVES
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
7) KCS
Cool UTK
9) DAG
10) XBY
11) REBL

Appreciate your responses.

Can't help but keep wondering why you have no ETH on your list, you have something against the currency or what? Amazon start accepting bitcoin, litecoin and Eth and UNICEF start accepting bitcoin and ETH too, i think you should readjust your portfolio so that you won't miss out alot
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO projects with very good rating on: October 21, 2019, 05:33:15 PM
My research always comes first, even if the project is been rated 5/5 or 10/10 on rating websites i will still do my normal research on the projects, ICOBENCH is good because they allow external developers to rate projects too so you can read every thing these people are saying about the project, honestly the reviews aren't bad
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 21, 2019, 05:28:12 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
Before a project can look suspicious it depends on how good you are at researching, most times even promising projects do turned scam, crypto space is actually in trouble if you ask me, scammers are making everything hard for new investors
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 18, 2019, 03:22:42 PM
SNTR is now very cheap, you really lost your money, but still quite active in the hobit exchange. Anyway you bought SNTR in the last year so it was bear market then it was not good to hold. Well if you buy ethereum or binance coin this time and hold for long term, I'm sure you can make profit.

Hahaa I would have made far much loss if i had bought either ETH or BTC last year and hold cos it fell so bad. ETH fell from over $1k to around $83 this year before it rose again. The volatility is crazy.
Last year was a very good time to sell all your coins, last year was a selling year not a buying year, those who buy coins last year before bears take over the market are to be blame for their actions
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: October 18, 2019, 03:18:43 PM
Seriously i don't expect all new projects to met their hardcap and if they don't there will be problem to list on big exchanges but even mid rated exchanges are plague with problems like fake volume and bot trades, really most times i don't blame devs who can't list on better exchanges
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 03:14:25 PM
IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

How can you assure there is really a sure profit when participating in an IEO on binance? I'm hearing a lot from their IEO and some positive results as well but I'm still hesitant to invest because of my past experiences from ICOs. Scammers will always be there where they can get money from people. Binance is just an exchange to hold their IEO, if the team behind that IEO has bad motives then what will happen in the end is just the same.
Since you are not even aware that all IEO on binance did very fine its a big shame on you, as a cryptopian i expected everyone to be updated on whatever is going on in crypto space, you should try to investigate past IEO from binance and gate exchange and see if you can take decision after that
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 17, 2019, 02:39:51 PM
I'm seeing a lot of posts and top-lists with the best crypto games lately. At the moment there’s a huge selection of crypto games online starting from simple casino slots and finishing by shooters, 3D action, and exploration games. I see a lot of promos, articles, etc, but I never heard of the efficiency of those games for their users. Take this top-5 for example. Does anyone even play it? Are you doing it for fun, or is it really a profitable way of earning crypto?

How relevant are blockchain games and is it possible to make any profit on them? By 'making any profit' I mean an alternative to trading, mining, etc.
Share your experience.
Beware of scam projects that all in the name of blockchain gaming will scam you when they have the chance, we do have real legit blockchain games that pays you reward for gaming like CryptoKitties
And CryptoPets  which is a blockchain based game to collect, trade, and train digital creatures across virtual worlds.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 17, 2019, 02:30:22 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and Atomic wallet (AWC) could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.
Well you need to try and see for yourself to know which one will suit you but i can bet with you that you would find day trading as a good way to make profit, you can end up losing every thing as well, i invest in crypto for long time and find other ways to sustain myself like real life jobs
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update List Scam Airdrop 2019 ...... on: October 16, 2019, 09:53:18 AM
Here is my own list of shitty airdrops of 2019, till this day they never paid any airdrop hunters and the websites of some airdrops have already vanished
1. Vecap
2. Carna life
3. Tokenmom
4. Torqx coin
5. Hypnoxys
6. Windhan
7. Sparkpoint
Sparkpoint project is real but the teams just decide not to pay airdroppers
8. Yptospace
9. Yes Wallet
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 16, 2019, 09:47:23 AM
On the airdrop websites like airdrop alert and airdroprating many airdrops have value up to 25$ but thats just for show, i have promoted many and not a single one is worth the USD value on the websites, 20$ worth of airdrops turns 1$ on exchange, i know its been affected because of present market condition
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that conduct IEOS You should stay away from ? on: October 15, 2019, 01:00:32 PM
There are many exchanges that are bad for listing IEO, idax exchange, latoken and p2pb2b exchange are the biggest crap exchanges that developers needs to stay away from, watch trade and fake volumes are present
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Update List Scam Airdrop 2019 ...... on: October 15, 2019, 12:57:09 PM
Can you please explain how not receiving airdrops token will benefit scammers? the work is free, just join few channels and groups to get paid, i don't invest any penny, i do promote noia network and they haven't pay but who cares?
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum 2.0 Pulls Up Ether? on: October 14, 2019, 03:03:21 PM

Despite the slow growth of the Ether, I remain a strong believer in this digital asset. There are some people who have already disillusioned with this cryptocurrency platform claiming that it is not anymore the way it should be and that the leadership of Vitalik Buterin is not doing enough in the face of many challenges the network has to work on.

Now, the platform will soon be unleashing the Ethereum 2.0 which many expect can finally pull out the whole ecosystem from the block hole it is in. Do you think this can be the answer we are looking especially on the question/concern of scalability?

The next ETH upgrade should be able to pull its price up, vitalik has his ways of dealing with this himself so lets all relax, ETH is blessed with hardworking teams that are always ready for any possibilities and one more thing is the next bitcoin halving that i believe will help drive ETH back up in 2020
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 14, 2019, 02:59:26 PM

After the failures of ico and the short progress of ico; it brings a sigh of fear into crypto currency.

Investors are smarter; and do not rush into tokens
while bounty hunters are increased thus providing poor contents which leads to no reward

If we consider previously where projects raise 10m$ for just launching app unlike now where
Most Projects this year struggle to raise even 100$; and it looks like ieo/ico will die soon.

What will be the future of crypto currency?
Does it need regulation as stock and forex ? Or the sequence of struggle continues ?

Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?

For hunters; soon; I doubt we will find worthy projects to promote

As this is my first post in altcoins; I hope I get a lot of suggestions to improve my knowledge likewise
Only hunters who thinks like you will keep missing out, everyone keeps complaining about bounties and yet good project are passing you by, tell me do you think that every day is a hunter's day? do you think that good projects will keep coming every day for hunters to promote? every bounties popping up here and there are no doubt useless projects so just be on the look out for solid projects, they come once a while
