Exactly. It is more convenient and wise to convert Bitcoin to coins before moving it to gambling platforms. Übrigens gibt es bei diesem Hackathon nicht nur Rewards für talentierte Coder, sondern auch "Normalbürger" haben hier die Chance durchs Lösen von einigen Aufgaben AVAX abzustauben. Dafür werden nicht direkt Programmierkenntnisse benötigt, sondern es handelt sich dort eher um das Lösen von Logikaufgaben.
Macht da jemand mit von euch? Ich schätze mal, da geht es dann darum die Aufgaben möglichst rasch zu lösen um hohe Chancen für die Preise zu haben? Zumindest ist das bei den Hackathons die ich kenne so. Prinzipiell sind so Veranstaltungen recht lustig, vor allem wenn man "vor Ort" ist. Umso höher die Preise umso unrealistischer ist jedoch ein Gewinn als "Normalbürger", gibt schon extrem geniale Leute die die Lösung schon coden während man selbst noch versucht das Problem zu verstehen  Ich habe mitgemacht und eine der einfacheren Aufgaben sogar lösen können. Wie viele AVAX ich allerdings damit abgestaubt habe, bleibt bisher leider noch im Dunkeln. Ich denke aber nicht, dass es der Rede sein wird. Die Tasks hätte wirklich jeder mit etwas Disziplin lösen können. Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden. |

Ist bei mir genau das Gleiche, wobei auch hier die Beiträge stark zurückgehen. Irgendwie grad ein bisschen "Nachrichtenflaute" rund um AVAX hier im Board. Wird aber hoffentlich wieder spannender sobald der ANN veröffentlicht wird, kann sich ja nur mehr um Jahre handeln  Aber 1miau ist da ja nach wie vor dran! Ansonsten habe ich Anfang des Jahres einige AVAX durch die Übersetzungen "abgestaubt", tlw. auch noch zu sehr guten 1-stelligen Kursen, das hat sich ausgezahlt. Mit den Standardaufgaben im Hub wie "teile dies und jenes" oder "verwende folgenden Avatar" bin ich eher weniger warm geworden, dazu bin ich vmtl. auch einfach zu wenig auf Twitter und co. unterwegs alsdass sich das für mich lohnen würde. Technische Tasks gibts ja eigentlich keine mehr, das hat mir damals richtig Spaß gemacht. Habe mir in den letzten Tagen auch nochmal die aktuellen Tasks angesehen. Eigentlich sehr schade, dass das Gesamtpotential vom Hub nicht wirklich genutzt wird, indem man da spannendere Aufgaben einstellt. Könnten ja sogar solche Aufgaben sein, wie z.B. ein Geschäft dazu zu bringen, AVAX als Zahlungsmittel zu akzeptieren oder ähnliches. |

I don't allocate a certain budget for gambling but I just use my extra money to play. I haven't tried borrowing money just to gamble. As for me, that will be a big risk since there's no assurance of winning on it. I have learned and control gambling on my own. I always make sure that I discipline myself all the time so I'll know when to stop and when to continue.
Playing this way you won't face issues with gambling. I believe the most important thing is to discipline yourself, so you will know your limits, always acting responsibly, not risking your loved ones and your own welfare. That is how gambling games should be played by everyone, and seen as a leisure activity only. But unfortunatelly there will be always gamblers who will see it in a greedy way, leading to addiction, that is the final step to ruin. But good examples like yours can help them to start controlling their emotions better and improving their self control. In my opinion it is not a matter of self control. There are people who are deemend of being a gambler cause of e.g. bad experiences during childhoood. This is often shown in psycholgy literature. |

indeed, inveting is not always guaranteed to make great returns over the longer run if one makes bad decisions though if managing risk and being responsible the possiblity of a positive outcome is much higher than with gambling. it's also much harder to find an edge while gambling than on investing. As long as we can get the right investment, we can make a profit in the future. But we need to know how to manage the risk or select the investment to get a positive result. The fine line between investment and gambling can confuse people because if they do not research more about both things, they can gamble with their money which does not give them the profit. Maybe the benefit of gambling is we can feel relax and have fun but if we play longer, that can make us lose money. At the same time, the investment will give us more return than gambling. the thing is: there's no fine line, gambling and investing are really different things and should be treated differently. If a gambler has an investor mindset he can have chances to suceed. but an investor with a gambler's mindset is faded to loose a lot. How can a gambler have chances to suceed? Even with an investor's mindset it is not possible. You cant win against roulette with this kind of mindset, because it is mathematical impossible. Please explain your "idea" more further. |

Ist definitiv nicht die günstigste Hostinglösung am Markt, aber der Support des Anbieters macht es den Preis wert. Performance und Verfügbarkeit ist für dein geplantes Projekt dort definitiv ausreichend und bei Bedarf auch weiter skalierbar. Für einen ersten Überblick zu derem Backend (KAS) und erste Versuche mit diesem Hoster kannst du dir auch einen unverbindlichen 7-Tage Testaccount einrichten lassen. Hey, in der Hub-Telegram-Gruppe wurde jetzt endlich angekündigt, dass zumindest in der nächsten Woche die Rewards der ersten beiden März-Wochen in der nächsten Woche verteilt werden sollen. Also könnt ihr damit rechnen, dass innerhalb der nächsten Tage euer AVAX-Konto wieder ein wenig steigen wird. Wurde ein Grund für die Verzögerungen genannt? Ich hab das Thema nur am Rande verfolgt und die "Vertröstungen wegen technischer Probleme" ziehen sich nun ja doch schon eine ganze Weile hin.  Ist jemand von euch noch aktiv im Hub? Wenn ja, welche Aufgaben macht ihr zurzeit? Als Grund wurde angeführt, dass das Distributionsystem geändert wurde. I mean it is sad to have lost all that money, but gambling should never be considered as a form of income, ever. It only leads to potential further losses. In my opinion people actually never consider gambling as a form of income in their rational decision-making. It is just their emotional behaviour that lead to a process of finding reasons to gamble. As a consequence if you had your mind full of pictures seeing you as a full-time grinder of course it is legitimate to gamble. |

Did you think about to create a new alternative to poker? Poker is a game where the bad player will play against the better player because luck is involved. The problem with poker is that it is allmost completely solved. If you can create a completely new game which involves a certain degree of luck with a low rake strukture and maybe some profit-sharing-algorithms it could be big.

Ich kann mir sowieso etwas Zeit lassen, da ich die Plattform erst nach dem Lockdown launchen möchte, um keine unnötigen Kontakte zu provozieren und damit das Infektionsgeschehen weiter anzuheizen.
Wenn du die Anwaltliche Beratung hinter dir hast und die rechtlichen Aspkte geklärt sind, würde ich dennoch nicht bis zum Ende des Lockdowns warten, sondern bereits so früh wie möglich mit einer abgespeckten, Kategoriereduzierten Variante starten. Gerade in der Pandemie/Lockdown gibt es Menschen welche auf Grund von Alter, Erkrankung oder Quarantäne Hilfe brauchen wenn niemand aus der Familie in der Region wohnt (was heute ja nicht so unüblich ist) und zb. die Einkäuf fürs tägliche Leben erledigt werden müssen. Klar muss man auch auf der Plattform die notwendige Kontaktreduzierung deutlich hervorheben, aber auf diese Weise könntest du die Plattform gleich positiv behaftet am (regionalen) Markt etablieren und hättest die Möglichkeit die Plattform in aller Ruhe zu Testen und im Betrieb auftretende Bugs zu fixen so lange das Anzeigenvolumen noch stark reduziert läuft.
