421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I took a proposal to my State Governor to accept Bitcoin Technology on: September 14, 2023, 09:43:59 PM
Good work mate, I hope your efforts yields fruit, but we are from the same country and we can both agree that the government are not the keen type to adopt things that would be beneficial for their citizens quick.

Here is some fact, you don't actually need the government to make moves although the steps maybe small but it would be productive, keep educating those who are interested about Bitcoin and the benefits it has to offer over the traditional financial system.
422  Economy / Goods / Re: bitcoin on: September 14, 2023, 06:50:39 PM
You're trying to be smart but no one is stupid enough to buy 2 Papa John's Pizzas for 1 BTCitcoin. I would recommend you to try your luck somewhere else because on this forum users aren't naive enough to purchase 2 pizzas for a Bitcoin because with a single Bitcoin we can buy so many of those pizzas.
People have different reasons to get things, you would be surprised how much people paid for some items that aren't even Worth it in the first place.

Regardless I believe this was just a joke and for fun but if this post was to go main stream and may get high publicity many people would definitely take the offer and would want to be part of the recreation of the legendary Bitcoin pizza .
423  Economy / Economics / Re: I tired of Banks my experince with nyc high value Property on: September 14, 2023, 04:20:56 PM
To be honest the service you require from the bank is not a service crypto-currency can offer you so I don't see the relationship with this your experience with the bank and Crypto-currency.

Crypto don't offer mortgage payment or even loan. Although there are services that are based on loan via crypto-currency but still the terms are condition's are made by the service providers so I understand your point about the unfair service from the bank but you just have tk work hard to improve your finances to avoid it .

No it's never too late to make a turn for good ok the forum, many top reputable people here has actually done that and now they have become better members of the forum.

It's a great step to acknowledge that you have been doing the wrong thing, I believe that's the first step, I would have to be sincere with you that it won't be that easy but definitely it is achievable, you need to start from the beginning and be patient with the growth.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 11, 2023, 09:33:11 PM
Are you a billionaire yet? If not then you probably don't know what you talking about, although I must agree with your title the only time wealth is luck is when you were born into it, regardless you can lose such wealth if not well managed.

Although making wealth requires knowledge, and learning but there are smart people who knows the drill but aren't that wealthy. So I would say that there is a little bit of luck involved.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You find the keys for 15 [btc], but there is a catch, what do you do? on: September 11, 2023, 06:53:15 PM
You found? Do you just go about looking for Bitcoin that's not yours?
It's logical what is not yours and you take it then that's a crime and don't care if you feel it's the grace of what ever faith you believe in.

There is no need to get into this in the first place, if it's not your wallet then I think you should not try any technicality to get it without the permission of the owner.
428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can get played by anybody on: September 11, 2023, 05:26:53 PM
So are you telling me that if the real Elon Musk or Vitalik account on Twitter ask you to provide your seed phrase to them for some checkups or freebies you will not think twice? Simply because the request is coming from the real Elon or Vitalik account?
Elon musk and /or Vitalik or anyone at all doesn't have the right to ask you to send your seed phrase, your seed phrase is meant to be super private and anyone demanding it definitely has some shady motives, crypto-currency is transparent so with just your address they can view the wallet but demanding seed phrase is going to far.

Also their are hackers that can and in history has hacked the account of reputable people and deceived many into sending them funds so it's not wise giving out your private details.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics 101. Stagflation. on: September 11, 2023, 04:47:24 PM
I can relate with the theory that the STAGFLATION has a link with oil price, I am from a country that is already experiencing economy down turn due to the increase in fuel the product of refining oil, this situation has really affected the country's economy and citizens.

And due to this crises it has cost increase in standard of living, with transportation, food and other commodities going up .
430  Economy / Economics / Re: The Bullish Case for Bitcoin, reloaded. on: September 10, 2023, 08:31:12 PM
Let's say Bitcoin beats the all time high and reaches 100k and due to the volatility it goes down to 70k I think people would still consider it as a bear market season. Spreading your time worrying about which market Bitcoin is either bull or bear can be extremely frustrating.

I am interested in how I can make Bitcoin work more for me and that has to do with the adoption level, this is the best value for Bitcoin (the utility) we haven't yet started to experience that at its peak, and I hope we do
431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for beginners on: September 10, 2023, 06:29:39 PM
You are a newbie yourself and you already giving tips to your fellow beginners how ironic is that, just like a rookie footballer giving advice on how to become a great player to his fellow rookies.

I think this card that many newbies plays should stop, because this would only give people the wrong impression of you, in some cases most of you don't understand what you even talking about. To be pressured to make post you can always learn and then post later on
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do we benefit in lies in forum on: September 10, 2023, 06:16:25 PM
Well I would say I understand where you coming from and yes I have seen some post like that, some newbies feel that they can touch other users on their soft spot so as to probably get recognition and even merit from such post and it's really sad to see that some newbies don't want to go through the right road to achieve their goal

But regardless I still see this your post in the same light, if you see a post that is not Bitcoin concerned there is no need to start your own thread I believe that why you can use the REPORT TO MODERATOR option.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ted Cruz is a ‘Big Believer’ In Bitcoin Mining on: September 10, 2023, 05:42:49 PM
Harnessing the solar energy is a great way of making the natural resources work for you, so if Texas decides to convert that energy into form of financial gain then that's a great step for in state in my opinion

But first we have to look at the state interest in Bitcoin mining the government doesn't have all the power, they can make a statement but if the state is not interested in mining then it would not work. But if this is true it would be good news for the crypto-currency enthusiast in the state and also I think they should spread Bitcoin mining awareness and help with loans to people who wants to start up Bitcoin mining. also spread Crypto-currency awareness generally in the state.
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: KYC matter? on: September 10, 2023, 05:11:47 PM
KYC which is know your customer, it's a process projects, exchanges makes their prospective users undergo to prove their identity, to know if they are real, for security or for any future events purposes, although this process has its justification it is an infringement to ones privacy many crypto-currency enthusiast who value the anonymous nature of Crypto Space don't agree with this process atleast in some situation.

In terms of exchange it is centralized exchanges that demands this process, many can be strict about it and you have no access to the exchange unless you complete it while others has levels and stages to their verification and to enjoy full service from the exchange you have to complete it, so your question depends on the exchange.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: History of Cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2023, 08:45:08 PM
This thread is not deep enough to be considered as a history related thread, infact I don't see the need of it, there is the internet where anyone can look up the history of Bitcoin and read and also good threads about Bitcoin already exist on the forum some are pinned.
And op I noticed some errors on your post which signifies that you also need to do some learning yourself before making this type of post.

You can learn extensively alot about Bitcoin history from this thread.

436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction on: September 09, 2023, 07:35:45 PM
Hi i was just curious if anyone could help me out and tell me why my btc transaction has been unconfirmed for over a week now and if there is absolutely anything at all that i could do, and if it will be confirmed or not i am rather new to crypto, anything will help and i appreciate it greatly. Thank you so much! https://mempool.space/tx/3a88b7e9edb449562f6a62e05e763d3890b7ffb52b5e8d0c21a19a2f1b2bd042
To put in a less complicated sense for you, on how low your transaction fee that would resonate on the time for your  transaction getting confirmed, if you had put in a higher transaction fee your transaction would have been confirmed by now.
But he reassured your coin isn't lot and depending on the traffic and congestion you should be receiving the fund to where you send it.
437  Other / Off-topic / Re: Everybody WILL hear the letters BTC. on: September 09, 2023, 06:37:15 PM
It's Bitcoin but the abbreviation is BTC, yes the abbreviation is popular with Bitcoin but if it fits any other thing it can be used like the case you withness at Bayelsa state. Well the letter is not enough to spread the word in terms of Bitcoin, you are just coming to the state I guess so if you stay a while you may notice that people are very familiar with the letter BTC on the cab and what it means.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful messing around with default settings. on: September 09, 2023, 06:13:51 PM
The default settings which is also the original setting can never get you into mess. Default settings is that which the site, forum, application, device owners or team had certified sufficient or accurate enough for anyone to make do with, but we all have individual preference so there is always an opportunity to change it, but personally anything I don't understand fully I don't tamper with the default settings on that, this has kept me safe
439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring Crypto Prediction Tools: Which Ones Have You Tried? on: September 08, 2023, 09:52:12 PM
This is just like those many soccer prediction site that would promise gamers sure winnings and even go ahead to doctor some gaming slips.

I won't trust any site that promise to give accurate prediction in crypto-currency be it price prediction or trading prediction, it's mostly false and a scheme to get people on board. Crypto-currency is very volatile and not easily predictable.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank vs Crypto: Are they opposites? on: September 08, 2023, 08:46:49 PM
Quote
Banks are concerned that crypto could reduce the use of fiat currency and reduce their revenue from services such as credit cards and loans.
Banks are concerned that crypto could be used for illegal activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing.
I am from a country where government corruption is widely felt in every sector of the country and this has been happening for a very long time now even before the recognition of crypto-currency, and the means by with the government launders money and the countries funds has been through fiat and the banking system not just this but other forms of money laundering has been Carried out using the banking system.
