yeah, unless obama comes up with something like (landing on the asteroid in bugatti space shuttle, drilling 100m hole with hilti drill bits and blowing it to pieces detonating a russian nuke) armageddon style   Without a real solution, we can't avoid death by an asteroid. If one is coming directly at us, it is just a matter of time before it wipes us out. What makes you so sure? Thought you said technology moves fast? |

we have been slowly killing earth for ages by polluting, exhausting natural resources etc. This is the ultimate end but something might come before that, all it needs is a large asteroid or huge solar burst and whoosh.. we are gone.
Statistically looking it's more likely that something else will kill us in the meantime. It could just be as simple as an asteroid. We can't stop those remember. You not seen the movie Armageddon? lol |

everyone always asks questions about the belief in "god" but it's never defined.. god is a word that has to many meanings. i don't really know how to answer such a question.
Agnostic then? that's what i usually tell people.. i'm glad i'm not an atheist, because then i'd have to tell people that i am one. it's become cult-like and they make me cringe as much as the churchgoers. Atheists seem to be looked down upon a lot by society, at least in the places I have lived. Most of this comes from the fact that many go around saying stuff like "theists are stupid" or "use common sense" or just trying to convince everybody to change their beliefs by insulting their religion (militant Atheists). Luckily, that is just some. I believe most Atheists don't do this, and that people usually generalize against them just because they never hear anything from respectful ones. It's pretty much just racism and prejudice against them. Agnostics seem to get much more respect, usually. Where I live people get more surprised if you ARE religious. About 65% are members of the church though, but very few actually believe in god. And religious groups are very respected and not looked down on either. Which country is that? |

there is nonalcoholic beer that tastes just like beer. my dad let me try it when i was 13. also, frank on the US shameless had a nonalcoholic beer since his liver went caput.
Really? What kind was that? The only kinds I've tried has tasted like wheat mixed with water, lol! There are also some non-alcoholic wines. They don't really taste wine (at least not the kinds I've tried), but they are quite good anyway. The thing is that alcohol mixes with the rest of the tastes, and therefore adds to the overall taste. Pure alcohol tastes like shit though. Did you try a wheat based one? |

"Insomnia" with Robin Williams is pretty good Only if you're a Christopher Nolan fanboy. lol. Film was ok but it does seem to be hyped by Batman fanboys. I'm not a Batman Fanboy by any stretch, but I like seeing actors in roles that they are not usually cast in. In this instance, Robin Williams as the bad guy... Have you seen him in One Hour Photo? |

Alchohol makes me feel sick.
You mean overall or when you drink a bit much (which would be normal)? I know a few people who barely touched alcohol in their life too. it dehydrates me very fast.. and i get red. it makes me feel like shit either during or after. beer and any alcohol also tastes like ass. Nobody (almost) likes the taste of alcohol. People want the effects and the social thing it is to drink in many cultures. u sure about that? people talk about which beer they like the most, or how vodka tastes with juice or coke (or whatever). if they didn't like the taste, i'm not sure why people talk about preference so much. Yes, but few people like the taste of alcohol. Therefore you often add other things as well, like juice or coke. And in beer the alcohol level is so low it doesn't taste that strong. i think a good portion of people who drink alcohol like the taste.. i just googled this up here and here's some feedback http://www.city-data.com/forum/alcoholic-beverages/766700-do-people-actually-like-taste-alcohol.htmli don't understand it, but i accept it. also, there is nonalcoholic beer that people drink.. You can get ciders too. Cider or cyder is a fermented alcoholic beverage made from apple juice . Cider alcohol content varies from 1.2% ABV to 8.5% or more in traditional English ciders. The shawshank redemption is worth seeing.
One of my favourite films. Definitely a movie to be watched , one of the great . I don't think there's many people who havent seen it. I don't think I have seen it. Might check it out later. Shawshank Redemption is a timeless must see movie. Easily in my personal top 10 of all time. I didn't see it until a few weeks ago. I was surprised that I'd never even heard about it! I mean a movie that good? It definitely deserves a place on ones top 10 list! How'd you never hear of it? Where do you live? |
