421  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: August 03, 2020, 02:46:23 PM
In our country, we actually do not know if it would do any better to our current economical status. Bitcoin in our country is somehow branded as a scam since people are not knowledgeable enough about it and that is kinda sad since the Cryptocurrency Industry has a lot of potential. Bitcoin might be good to the economy but it needs proper guides on how people can use it fairly since most government do not want fair transactions involving money.
You are right that there are still many country where bitcoin is not much familiar and most of the people don't know what is bitcoin. It will available when bitcoin will be spreading all places.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: August 03, 2020, 02:42:52 PM
Good to those who hold ethereum and good for some who bought when the price below $200. I bet some regrets about not buying eth when it was low. So in my own opinion, eth is worth holding and currently, price is rising.
I have been buying since March of this year and I am also very surprised at the recent price increase of ETH. In just a few months of waiting, I had doubled profits, but I still didn't want to sell it because the price of ETH could rise even higher in the next few days. Another thing is that the news of 2.0 has not yet appeared, so I will continue to hold and wait for the coin to return to the old ATH price.
You done well. Already you are able to cut good profit. At this time, you can buy more ethereum for future. Hopefully it will hit a big price very short possible of time.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: August 03, 2020, 02:40:34 PM
It is time for holding. Don't sell at this time because eth will hit $500 very soon. We can increase the price if we wish. So, Strong hold eth.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Etherium will now be the right decision? on: August 02, 2020, 04:34:24 PM
Why not as it most popular crypto around the world. Most of the token are ethereum based. It will rise continuously. So, try to enter on ethereum for cutting a good profit.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good time to enter in $ETC? on: August 02, 2020, 04:32:05 PM
I will prefer eth for investment. Eth has a great value and in future it will stand in a good place. Try to invest on eth and hold it strongly for more profit.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Spend Bitcoin? on: August 02, 2020, 04:29:07 PM
There are a lot of way to spend bitcoin if you have. You can purchase from online store, buy ticket from travel agency, gift card and you can exchange bitcoin into your local currency. Cheesy
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 01, 2020, 02:47:39 PM
Mate, BDT is the fiat currency of Bangladesh. I used to buy sell BTC locally to make some profit since I have both some buyers and sellers. And there's no way you can get rid of the high fee now. Coinbase is better since they use batch payment now and fee is proportionally low but it's very risky to use coinbase for such trades because source of BTC can be illegal too.
This means not the trading on exchanges. You do trade with different buyers and sellers at a very minimal profit. In short you buy for a less price and sell it a little above the buying price. Repeated trading gives good profit, and I need to ask a question. Is it legal to trade cryptocurrency within Bangladesh. I read an article where a person using bitcoin is arrested by policemen.
As far as I know, crypto currency is not legal in Bangladesh but many people are using crypto currency there though it is illegal. But recently I saw a news where government proposed to enter on blockchain based technology.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 01, 2020, 02:42:47 PM
As you sell bitcoin on local people, try to transfer bitcoin through coinbase email. By this method, you will be able to transfer bitcoin instantly and it is totally free. Then you will be able to make some extra profit.  Wink
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 18, 2020, 06:41:32 PM
Why not? For bitcoin, it is very possible to reach $20k in 2020. As bitcoin is the powerful and valuable coin and it has a great reputation and value also.

I have published a paper about what I consider being design flaws when you look at how Byteball does (not) decentralize.

Open for comments.

I think it will be beneficial to allocate part of remain fund to hub operator or witness node
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 26, 2018, 06:03:31 AM
The coins need to be circulating NOT being hodled by the creator. It just is not a good look for a coin. Reminding me in a very uncomfortable way of Ripple. Sending out a couple of hundred bucks as incentive for KYC  ID is not an air drop. The coins will never be 98% distributed if this goes on. Consequence being that it will never be taken seriously as money.

The thing is the excuse of trying to get as many users as possible with meagre handouts is proven not to work. The best example being Iceland's Aurora coin. People have to be attracted to use it not bribed. It is not attractive seeing the Dev change plan and hodl his own premined coin.

Also it is flying under the radar but the witnesses are all but maybe two controlled by Tony.

I invested in this coin because the tech sounded amazing and the roadmap of airdrops was clear.

Shame to see the credibility draining away like this.

For those that call this greed. You need to rethink about the economics of supply and demand.

I agree, this has less to do with greed (although fear and greed are always factors in crypto) and everything to do with certainty.

Once the original moon airdrop distribution was completed there may well have been a big fall in price, and that price fall would have attracted new buyers looking for a bargain. The market takes care of adoption, if the tech is good, which it clearly is. Give the market certainty, and the tech potential in combination with the market does the rest for adoption.

I fear BB is losing future evangelists who will move onto other projects now, it's not like there is a shortage of crypto to get involved with. Distribute the remaining tokens quickly, that is the issue, not who gets them, that's my reading of the community backlash Tony is getting.

Whales inevitably start promoting tokens to increase their wealth, but that won't happen when there is uncertainty, they just leave the community, and Tony can't do this on his own.

Agree, and is there any way that Tony or any core team could hear this kind of voice?

The new future is awesome.
I have a little problem. I am using a light wallet. And it keeps report:
Error: unexpected server response (502)
Should i change any setup to fix these?

Many of us, including myself lost thousand of dollars when the bitcoin cash price suddenly dropped, and the God Blessed Bittrex failed to connect back to the server, suddenly the price fall from 0.4 to 0.16, God bless centralized exchanges, which charge arms and legs, after that they donīt give you support, and if you lost, you are 10000% guilty, i know i made mistakes, but they would be so high if this shitty server would not crash, shitty services for the people, Welcome to the (De-CENTRALIZED) markets

you mean openledger? but they do not list BCH yet. or is there any other de-centralized markets?
