421  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stay poor! on: January 11, 2024, 08:42:32 AM
As a businessman or salary earners here are tips on how to stay poor in life. Grin

1. Spending your money on unnecessary items immediately the money arrives. Trying to prove a point to people by living a standard that is above your pay grade.

2. Live on one source of income. Everyday of our life our responsibilities and challenges keeps piling up accumulating without consideration to our financial capability. The economy and cost of living continue getting worsen. So in order not to be able to beat this piling settle comfortably on a single source of income flow.

3. Become an extremely cheerful giver/lender to friends and family. A wisdom quote I read somewhere said, "if you want to lose your friends and family lend them money".  Keeping doing this and you going to be successfully poor.

4.Learn how not to mind your own business, making every events around you your concern even when it doesn't affect you. It's a nice way to make cool enemies. Etc.

I trust you all get the sarcasm as conveyed.

The sad reality of life is that not everyone will be rich though even when richness is subjective to people. No matter how you guide and write books about ladder to success, some people will do what is going to make them happy rather than running after richness not to talk of being wealthy because having a wealth is totally different from being rich and being rich is different from average life and that is also different from been poor.

Your number 2 is also subjective; we have people who rely on a single source of income and make a lot of money, but their job takes up almost all of their time, so they don't have much time to pursue other sources of income. People who work in oil companies, particularly the top guys, devote their entire lives to it and it is their sole source of income, yet they make nearly all of the money anybody could possibly imagine since they are paid so highly.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: If you are investing in the stock market, coinbase is good to invest in now! on: January 11, 2024, 08:05:52 AM
Yes, if you are an investor that loves investing in the stock market. This is a good time to buy the Coinbase stock inside the stock exchange market. We are going to see the Coinbase stock price go high soon, and this is because all those ETF that were approved by the SEC cannot hold the bitcoin. Since the SEC said if an investor invest x amount of Bitcoin in any ETF the ETF should be able to hold exactly x amount in a secured wallet for the investor.

However, out of the 11 Bitcoin ETF that was approved. About 6 uses Coinbase as a custodian wallet. This is why there will be increase in the price of Coinbase in the stock market as there will be a substantial amount of Bitcoin going into Coinbase soon.

What are thoughts as well?

Is that all the reason that justifies why investors should hold Coinbase shares? I don't and I will not hold their shares because that is not concrete reason enough for me. First of all, Coinabase is nothing but a centralized exchange, they are not different from Binance, Okex and others but because they are situated in the US and fully regulated, they couldn't launch a token like other centralised exchanges so they decided to go the traditional way to launch shares which were circulated among the top venture capitalist, only a few was given to the public, that said.

Coinbase is holding ETF Bitcoin because they are experienced in the games and the ETF companies don't want to risk any hack attempt and this is just like Binance and Kucoin holding user Bitcoin, is there any difference between this and the custodial platforms that we had already? They probably have more Bitcoin in custody than what Coinbase will hold with this approval, so what's new here? Nothing my friend.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 11, 2024, 07:55:09 AM
Take casino games for example especially jackpot casino games there is no way you can tell me that all of them are structured in such a way that they randomly always make money for the house if you ask me gambling is a fraud that has been used to trick people into believing that their choices matter it does not everyone that gambles is just there to make money for the casino unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about human nature 💔💔💔

Congratulations on finding out that gambling is a scam but you went ahead and still played it many times, I guess it is safe to say that you are the scam here, you know how it was structured and never designed to really favour those outside the house and yet you are crying like a baby crying for a milkshake to cool down the temperature, next do a due diligence about something about it before going fully on it. Again, the fact that you mention jackpot makes it more that you want to use your small balance to win a big amount, the money you never worked for, get work next time. Lips sealed Lips sealed

Actually gamblers are aware that the house or casino always wins, but basically. Humans have the instinct to seek sensation and excitement by gambling, even though there is a risk of losing money, people still like to gamble even though they know they cannot win because they are fascinated by the great hope of getting a big win.
And winnings or big winnings are real and not fraud, but this is a matter of luck, if you are unlucky you will always experience continuous losses because high expectations make you continue playing without caring that the house always wins.

It's not like gambling is a place where money is guaranteed to be made; in fact, many casinos and gambling platforms would have closed down if the system had not been designed that way. The player's money is what fluctuates between losses and profits; otherwise, there would never be any casinos left today. Because of the way entropy operates, gambling is primarily reliant on luck. For this reason, I prefer to wager on player performance in sports like basketball and hockey rather than casino games, where I can make more informed decisions based on player performance than just pure luck.
424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit decay on: January 10, 2024, 06:37:44 PM
I've got to find out that there are some profiles that have received whole lots of merits but some of those profiles don't circulate their sendable merits to others profiles thereby allowing the sendable merits to decay and become worthless. The reason for sendable merits is for a user to send to other profiles in which they find their posts of good qualities and of Meritable standards but I wonder why some users choose to hoard this sendable merits and allowing it to vanish with time.
Is it a good habit to allow one's sendable merits to decay?

You don't tell people what they want to do with their earned merit, if they find your post worthy enough, I'm very confident they will give you without thinking twice. It's true that some people don't send out their Smerit and that could be for some reasons. It could be that they don't see good quality posts, it might be that they don't write in English frequently and they are more active in local board than the main board, it might also be that the person doesn't like you, this might sound harsh but some people have their favourite people they check their profile and give to the posts they think they deserve it.

I want you to know that we have more than 20 merit source in this forum, if one active user doesn't give you, the rest will give you and if you are active in doing things that deserve merit, not only the merit source will hive you, even normal people that engage to post will give you merits. It's depend on your efforts and how active you are in the Forum and how valuable your posts are to the public and don't expect to get merited for all your efforts, you might even do quality things that deserves merit and you wouldn't get that moment but when anyone comes across it, they can give you if it's worthy and deserving.
425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: More reason you should protect your privacy and anonymity as a Bitcoin holder. on: January 10, 2024, 05:18:10 PM
There are been many sad stories on the internet of crypto enthusiasts who got killed or rubbed of their assets because they stupidly compromised their privacy by their choice of lifestyle. The truth is, just as people keep making silly mistakes with their wallet security, so will naive users keep endangering themselves by flaunting their wealth online. We cannot actually control people's lifestyle but we can hope they get well informed and make better choices.

If we call that silly mistakes, what are we going to call people that keep coins on the exchange? I mean why are you going to keep all your coins on another exchange? Aside from the KYC complications, people has normalised centralized exchanges where to keep their coins. Maybe they see it as a conventional banks they use daily but they don't even know that the purpose of bitcoin is to minimize or even eradicate that from people but what do you expect? Almost everyone now are after where to profits and not to look on why the things they are buying and selling even exited.

What people don't know makes them doubt and it will be impossible to track or follow you. It's only when you leave traces on the internet it become easy for people to know. Why will you live your coins on centralized exchanges when you are not even a trader? Why?. I just think that no matter what you say, people will do what gives them comfort and that's centralized exchanges.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 10, 2024, 04:58:31 PM
It was disappointing that chelsea could not create goals with the dominance of the match which in my opinion deserved to get a lot of goals in that match, unfortunately chelsea did not have a striker who could produce goals that night.

To be honest, if traced properly, they have players who are quite capable, and with the quantity of players that can be relied on but unfortunately they do not have a strategy that can really penetrate the middlesbrough defense.
But we also need to remember that Chelsea indeed when against strong teams they will also strengthen but when against teams below them, sometimes they play with poor performances, but maybe the second round they can get a victory and avenge the annoyance they get for the embarrassing 1-0 defeat.

People still gets disappointed from Chelsea performance, I have remove them since first week of December from my favorite teams for gambling. I don't pick them to win and I don't their rival to win because I don't know them again. The last time I check their standing on the table was the same early December and I check and then they remain where I left them, 8 win 8 loss and 4 draw, damn Todd Boehly is a calm man. If I'm the owner, my hot temper would have sent him a sack letter to live my fucking club for his incompetent.

How can you have 70 ball possession and can't make a simple chance, all their shot on target were useless and conversion was poor. Been in Premier League is a privilege and hardwork, when a team of Premier League has a match from another team from other leagues, it shouldn't be ground breaking thing to do, more like a soft work but Chelsea made it look like impossible miracle. Maybe the next time they start having less fans coming to watch the team matches, the owner will become proactive person.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 10, 2024, 04:38:27 PM
Quite sometimes now i have been active in the gambling section and have pick interest to start gambling i have gone through lots of material in both the forum, i have seen that I can control my emotion as well as controlling my finance this includes;

Good picks I must say but as easy as they sound, the reality is different and here is my reservation about your points.

Quote
  • Not involving myself in a revenge gambling
If you want to avoid this, try as much as possible to gamble what you can afford to lose. This arises most often than not when you gamble with the money you needed badly and when that happen, the next line of action that comes to your medula is "I need to get back that cash". Huh

Quote
  • Not chasing profit after lost

This is similar to the first one, as you think of profits, think of loss to avoid disappointment.

Quote
  • Not involving oneself into compulsive gambling

If you have a financial challenge, gambling should be the last thing you want to think, avoid like a plague.

Quote
  • Among all, gambling for fun and not to enrich oneself

This is what gambling is about but is this what it's in reality, is like telling person that smokers are reliable to die young but they love it more despite the health implications. Gambling is for fun but it's mainly money driven, people hardly even look at the fun of it but that's what it's all about.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 10, 2024, 04:29:19 PM
In this case what I actually think is it's totally depend on the gambler, and his strategies if he do gambling on his afford zone then I don't think there will be any wrong if he do gambling everyday because it can give him also entertainment. But most of the case we have see that those who are doing gamble everyday they all are addicted gambler in this case it is not definitely better doing gambling everyday.

It's all about strategies, I can choose to play more of it everyday if I'm not running into loss but that is going to be how free I'm that period. As a gambler and sports guy, I can play 3 different types of games and this is going to be different leagues and my allocation are going to be the same even if the risk are different. Let's say for instance, I have $3 as my bankroll, I will split the money into 3 games with a dollar on each and the first one will be have high risk of accumulated odds but will be well analyzed and pick. The next one will be lesser in number than the first and third game would only be just 3 simple games that will have to recover the $3 dollars, doing this will give high chance of making more and even 70% chance of making back my bankroll incase everything went bad.

The disadvantage of this strategy is that leagues don't play all the time, anytime they go for international break, you have to join them and rest and if you try to force yourself to bet, you will regret it because some leagues are less competitive and you might not be as good as you think.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it possible to say there is no money in the bank on: January 09, 2024, 11:13:13 PM
Banks are run through deposit and withdraw, when net withdraws is greater than deposit, they have to restrict customers because the banks doesn't have money on their own, most of the liquidity is from customers deposit which they lend out to companies to make more interests. You can't ask for more than what they have and they can't go to the central bank to ask for what they are using as insurance as some countries does in their policy, if the bank don't do this, they might close down one day.

Another reason why banks do this is because of Government, the government can play the books of restrictions to conserve the people, the market and economy. They might do this more various reasons but that's major reasons I think they do. The idea of banks not having money on their reserve is impossible, the bank can never go broke except for the ones that have trespassed and go beyond principles of banking.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine African countries using Bitcoin to pay salaries, on: January 09, 2024, 10:18:14 PM
I don't know if the government of any African country have adopted the system of paying salaries in Bitcoin, but I know here is Nigeria they haven't, it's possible to pay employees using Bitcoin or other crypto currencies ,
With the services of some crypto currency payroll agencies  like Bitwage, papaya global, ontop,  which will make it possible for the government to pay their workers in Bitcoin or other crypto currencies and can be sent  into their digital wallet,
Since it has to do with the government another agency can be set up in the country in respect to paying salaries as Bitcoin which will somehow help in the growth of the economy of the country.

Good creativity but that's going to rubbish the economy. Where do you place the indigenous currency of the country? The Naira that is weaken already and you decided the country to use Bitcoin as legal tender? As much as I like Bitcoin, this one will not work for a Nigeria because right now we are facing a heavy transformation due to lot of changes in policies which might take time before the economy settle down.

However, I don't mind if it's legalized or been accepted as a legal tender and it can be voluntary for any one who wish to pay his staffs ad workers in bitcoin and that again should be on the request of the employers if he want fiat for his payment or bitcoin for the payment, it's as simple as that but I think there might be a little problem with the ongoing transaction fees war on the bitcoin network. The fees that are used to pay transaction fees on the bitcoin, if converted to fiat is more than the minimum wage, how do you expect that work? Bitcoin will be very hard to implement my friend, maybe not for now.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 09, 2024, 08:56:21 PM

1. Is the VIP program important to you when choosing a casino?

2. Do you use the benefits of the VIP program consciously (i.e. check the requirements for level up, check level up rewards, etc.)?

3. What information about the VIP program are you most interested in? What do you pay attention to when deciding whether to participate in the VIP program?

4. If you are or have been a high-level VIP at a casino, what are the biggest advantages you have found for yourself?

5. Questions for high-level VIPs. What's the craziest thing a casino has ever done for you?

Feel free to write any thoughts you have about VIP programs in the comments section below. Thank you all in advance for your attention and responses!

1. I haven't noted the advantage of vIP in the casino that I played but for those that does, is to get access to some important features of the platform and I think you can bet with any currency you like but some casino allow people to pay using their native tokens, that's what don't get as a normal person that loves casino games

2. VIP program doesn't guarantee anything in casino, you may choose to.have a vIP program and if you don't know how to gamble responsibly, you can lose everything Witt one wrong push.

3. I hardly even check if they have anything like that, the only thing l look after is look is how to win the next game I have in mind, period.

In anything you do whether you like using VIP benefits or not, make sure you understand gambling because I don't even know why anyone would be running to get that when can play and win but perhaps because I'm just an ordinary sport person.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 09, 2024, 08:02:00 PM
I don't think they will get any club in the Premier League now that can win the league title if it is not Manchester City or Liverpool this season, Arsenal are playing weak games, and Aston Villa can't compete with Liverpool and Manchester City if they meet each other now, and Manchester City players are coming back, and I believe Guardiola will try his hardest to win the league this season again because he is one of the best coaches in the world and is very talented, any club will like to have him as manager.

Manchester City's upcoming match against Newcastle will not be tough for them to win because numerous of their players have returned and Newcastle cannot compete with them; the only difference is that Newcastle will have a greater advantage than Manchester City because they are playing at home. Let's see if Manchester City can top the league table this summer, since I feel they can if Liverpool mistakenly loses a point.

The same Aston Villa that beat Manchester City yet you think the closet ally to compete with the Premier League is the same Manchester City. Arsenal might have been disappointment the past weeks but what is even there differences with Arsenal when the both share the same point. The two team team lost the same games just that Arsenal failure is just starting now but Manchester City has had their rough time some months ago but Arsenal still.has chance to recover.

Arsenal has more chance of winning their next match against Crystal palace than Manchester City facing Neecin their next match but my problem is that Arsenal has fumbled, they weren't supposed to lose much than they did and if Manchester city win Newcastle before they recover, then they have more work to do else that table will slip out of their fingers and it's going to be painful considering how they have given many people in the beginning of the season.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you win? on: January 09, 2024, 07:52:28 PM
Maybe anyone can decide to share his game and let those interested to should pick and play on their favorite gambling site, with this help we all can win together, the most important thing should be that everyone understand the gambling rules and for that can only bet with whatever they can afford to lose. If any game is posted by any reputable user here that does not mean that such person is 100% correct and hence shouldn't go bet with their entire life savings, the point is we should be able to carry this mindset that whatever may happen at the point of betting we might win or lose.

I don't know if such thread already existing or maybe, have been locked due to issues that was on grounds or could be that the thread is no longer effective if any please ref me then I can put this on lock as well then I will be more active over there.

This question is not well phrase, it should have been which strategy do you play and how often does it win and lose but I get where your question is pointing.

Gambling is 99% luck no matter the level of your predictions in skills, if it's were skill that people use in winning gambling, then my yesterday predictions that made me win should be enough to give me the same winning but gambling doesn't guarantee that especially if you are the type that loves sport betting. You can decide to play not double chance I.e teams in every match will not draw in any of your matches and it will come, try that th second day and you will get disappointed.

What I play this days is draw or over 2.5, but this are mostly from Premier League matches, I know very well that matches there are tough and when you select such option, when a team score the other one tend to equalized and then the next one try to score so they don't draw and if they score indeed, the other will want to score too, this options is the least tough I have been doing and my losses are minimal.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually think a Bitcoin ETF will be accepted this month? on: January 08, 2024, 08:03:30 PM
The market clearly thinks an ETF is imminent this week, price just pumped from $43,000s to $46k (highest since what like Spring 2022) since last night.

Gary Gensler posted a cryptic message trying to warn people of their investments some less than 2 hours ago that was what spark the bitcoin candle to shoot up by $2000 dollar, man is trying to be pro active trying to warn people because he knows that he has no choice but to accept the ETF ese he go to court which everyone knows that the court is going to win and they will later be approved, he's trying to serve himself the medicine he always serve people saying bitcoin is this and that but we know he doesn't care at all.

Let's this be approved and let's see what institutional investors are going to do with this hype, they should buy all the bitcoin they want, there is something I want to really check badly and that is their influence in this market, if it is going to stop this havoc and crash we do have from some group of people or they are just another people that we should avoid like FTX and the rest we had in the last 4 years cycle.

So... People are still burning BTC, that's nice
Or was it a $1 150 455 mistake? Cheesy

Quote from: satoshi
“Lost coins only make everyone else’s coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.”

Since I have been into crypto, I have only seen this madness only with altcoins trying to reduce the supply of tokens to a burn address and because burn addresses are wallet address without private keys, it is impossible to spend the coins in the wallet but now that I'm seeing this on bitcoin, I'm really confused why anyone will choose to do this madness with such bitcoin. Not even a drug cartel will use his bad money to buy bitcoin only to waste it on a place where he wouldn't have access to it or was it trying to cover tracks?  Lips sealed There is more to do this madness to be honest.

This can't be a mistake a mistake because if this was a Trojan or keyboard hijack, when he pasted the wallet address, if th hacker wanted to have the bitcoin, he would have change the wallet to his own address but instead to a dead wallet which was even obvious from the prefix, the bitcoin was sent from bc1 to 1 prefix, this is not cool but it's what is, the owner would understand better.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 08, 2024, 03:23:26 PM
This thread is inspired by the thread created by sportsbet.io about a lucky bettor who won $42 million on a $50 spin.

So let's discuss. This kind of win can be compelete considered based on luck, and the winner is so lucky that he hit the Jackpot. However, since the goal here is $42 million and you can only win that if you would bet $50 for one spin. So, do you have the courage to do that?

I hope this is not another PR  Wink The casino will feel this though because $42M aren't ice cream money.

I'm not in any capacity to wager $50 for a single bet because where am I going to get the next money if I don't win anything after the result? However, if I'm ideal and capable, I can do it but for a second, the person must be really big with heavy pocket to try this. I can't imagine number of times he would have lose to able to be able to win this much, this is will be on the record for them to announce this for the public.

If I'm to be honest, this game is nothing but luck and luck, there is nothing about been expert here, even the player that won this will be shock to seen him win this.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: January 08, 2024, 03:00:47 PM
If we are talking about gambling addiction we should also consider the benefits aspect of it although some people might not see this part because they channels all their thinking and mindset to generate something valuable like making a fortune out of it.

Even as that gambling addiction began to arose when the bettor or the gambling doesn't have a safe control over his actions or how might focused his mind towards gambling.

We can easily become an addicted gambler when we don't have our own words or stands on our words and decision, the way we talks about gambling addiction today we are also having people who is responsible gambler and they didn't allowed their greed and emotion control them even as they are trying to strive to make changes of their lives.

Gambling has an big time addiction but I think we overstretched the discussion sometime. I gamble and not even my close people tell them until one day I showed them my winning ticket and they were like, so you gamble, questions like how can you have sure games and you didn't inform us blah blah. I gambled very well in the month of December during the holiday season because I didn't visit anyone nor go out like other people did but January I reduced it because work has resume and I didn't even feel the impact of going back nor anything missing from life.

I think addiction comes with idleness, if you don't have anything that takes most of your time and you gamble madly everyday doing gambling and trying to make a living from gambling will make you look like a loser, you will think of anything in life other than gambling and gambling and that's how I think addiction and relationships get affected especially from people that are closer to you.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 08, 2024, 02:23:25 PM
Why should I not be comfortable if she is gambling responsibly. But I will prefer she should do it online instead of offline using betting agent. Because as I saw that image, that is a betting agent shop and I will not like to see my mother there. This is because in my country, only young guys are common in such a place and that would be an embarrassment for my mother and me. But if it is online that she is doing it, I will not be worried at all if she is gambling responsibly.

Didn't you see how frustrated the woman is.looking? I don't have the heart to see any elderly person in that manner because obviously it's look that she lost and her money is gone and worry how to get the money back. I saw her video on X some days ago and I was bothered, elderly people should have something more to do other than just gambling. I read here how someone collapse when he won a game from gambling and from the discussion, it seems old age was one of the factors why collapse.

Online or offline, I will not allow them to bet but if money is not involved, then I will let her be and do her thing for the fun. There was one old man that was addicted to gambling to the point where he was using the monthly money sent to him by the children for gambling and this is just one of the ways that lead to such. Addiction with old people is always embarrassing and I wouldn't go through that route.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 07, 2024, 07:37:49 PM
This is Arsenals second consecutive loss so far in recent time, their performance tonight in the FA cup was really unstable and without a good pattern, in the first half of the game they were able creat multiple chances and opportunities for them to scare a goal but they were really unable to convert the attempts to goals.

Liverpool had the second half balanced and we're able to secure victory by the end of the second half and I must comend their performance as it was a well organized one and they deserved the victory they had at the end of the game. Looking at Arsenals performance in the FA tonight, o honestly doubt their ability to be able to win the premier league by the end of this season, they may even literally struggle with the champions league because they don't have the solid form they did had earlier at the beginning of the season,. Liverpool did perform very well even in the absence of their star player Salah,  this showed they had little dependence on him because in his absence they were able to defeat an elite team.

I was expecting this match to be tough after their last encounter that ended as draw but it seems Arsenal are locked in rabbit hole this second leg of the Premier League we are right now. I didn't expect them to win but I expected a goal from Arsenal atleast because of their recent performance, nothing good so far about their games. Forward is not given, midfield is weak and defenders weren't properly organized. Arteta is beginning to look like the old Arsenal, it's early to start this drama with the way they have come so far.

Klopp has not been making noise, I hardly see him make any strong comments that send a message but lowkey, he is winning and Liverpool are stronger every match with good performance. Arsenal was ahead of them with 6 points sometimes but now, the table has changed Liverpool leading with 5 points from Arsenal and I'm sure if they are going to leave that top of the tree anytime soon.

I have come across Local gamblers who are addicted to gambling and had ruined their selves by themselves til they ran bankrupt yet they borrows money to gamble at all means even While being indebted.
Theses sets of gamblers doesn't have remorse nor conscience about their gambling lifestyles instead their friends and relatives are the ones who bears the shameful consequences the addicted gambler brought to their circle of relationships.
At the virtue of getting the unbearable situations to an end, the relatives broadcasts the chronic addicted gambler at all costs of gambling boards never to give him privileges to gamble in any of the Gambling arenas anymore else they (the relatives) would sue the gambling boards owner.
This is just how recklessness could mess your life of you can't take control to gamble responsibly.

Take note and be aware that your way of gambling could affect your relationships and the circle of your relatives.

There is this African proverb that people says, 'What an elderly person see, even if a young boy climb the tallest tree, he will not see it'. This is not about tree, child and elderly person. It's about what you see that those guys are not seeing. They see gambling as a Place to runaway from poverty when it is meant for fun and makes little change for passion; they are running from poverty to become homeless.

I did not only read this online, it's something I have experience personally from people that gambles all their life. They love gambling more than they love their stomach, they are ready to sacrifice their last money to gamble, they see every opportunity to  double their money and gamble, from look of there appearance they even look unkept and unhealthy and they will never listen any advice you give them.

Sometimes, I blame the government about there ways of gambling but this is not about basic needs, we have even the rich that have this character in gambling, they have went from been rich to becoming nothing.
