421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shared games helped you before? on: January 04, 2024, 02:32:03 PM
Those who are gambling based on what people are feeding them are doing it to make money, they are not gambling to be entertained, they want some money and they don't also know how to make decisions for themselves, I know someone who won a lot from a friends call, but since that time all other games are all failure.

I don't like this idea because you will simply depend on other people, while gambling is all about luck how can you not rely on yourself?

Also going shouldn't be all about you making money, if it is, you will start risking more than you can afford to lose, this is what got many gamblers wrecked, you should gamble not because you want to make money and get rich, you will end up in debt and losses, instead, take your time to enjoy the game, if you have to place bet, do it with small amount.

It's better if all gamblers have a job that brings them income instead of relying on gambling only, it will never work, even I as a gambler, I keep doing it because I am making money from my business and other, if I don't have a source of income I can't ever become a gambler.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 04, 2024, 01:30:47 PM
I shouldn't and I can't say the same for others, because the situations in countries are always different, I shouldn't care because no one cares for me than my parent, why should anything that people say affect me? But the problem is that some people are so ready to spoil your name by spreading something that's not even real.

Even if a responsible gambler visit local casino in my country, people won't care, you are simply are useless person, assuming you plan to get married, you will be shocked that someone will tell your in law that you are a gambler, and believe it that some people take this so serious, they won't let you marry their child because you are a gambler.

They have no idea that someone can be a gambler and also do a lot of great things in this life, but I don't blame them, too many gamblers ends up living up to the rumors from people, they ended up wasting their time with gambling with nothing to show for it.

So even if you are responsible, people will still say a lot of things about you if you are caught in a casino, I believe it's lack of knowledge but only very few numbers of people can control themselves when gambling, this is why most gamblers ended with nothing.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 04, 2024, 12:54:47 PM
That's not good, casinos are good at marketing their casinos with lies about winning the jackpot, how can they at the same time doing reviews on casinos? It's simply going to be full of lies.

I don't see lies from casinos as a red flag, there is no way they will attract people if they say the truth, they need to craft some lies about how gamblers can easily win some money, that's why a casino can never say the truth about gambling, it's bad for business.

Many gamblers are still thinking that casinos have the best for them in mind, the truth is casinos need to see you lose so that they can keep their company or business alive and running, your losses brings them the income they so desire, that's why you need to only gamble with your sense, don't risk more that you can afford to lose.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How possible is it to win lottery 14 times using mathematics calculations on: January 03, 2024, 09:58:16 AM
It's lottery, something that should find you luckily on it's own, it's not something someone should have in their head all the time, life doesn't work this way, it's a shame that people have their heads wrapped in such superstition, I know, people do win the lottery, but that's out of millions, and no! I don't want to get this in my head, it's not safe.

Whatever calculations you may have, I have no interest in trying to win the lottery, the luck of winning lottery is even more harder than gambling on a casino, and you believe you have a math calculation that could solve it? Good luck with that, even if you do, why are you sharing though? If it works you should be a multi millionaire by now.

Don't claim something do works when you haven't use it to change your own life, or have you? If yes is the answer let's see what you have down with the money, and also a prove that you do win the lottery using your math.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 02, 2024, 11:10:49 AM
If you are highly hypertensive its better to avoid gambling, I could say you should risk only what you can on gambling but I know people, they never change, so it's better to avoid gambling, because most times your mind will be on hoping to win, to me it means you risk more than you are willing to lose.

It's advisable to always go for health check every 4-6 months, you will never know until it's too late, even this days, cancer cells do grow in the body without you seeing any symptoms, and if you are someone who check his health condition you can easily beat the cancer, because cancer cell is easier to beat at early stage than when its grown.

Health is wealth, there is no amount of money you can have, if your health sucsk you won't be able to enjoy your money, it's better to be more cautious of your body and health, always go for check up and if you have any health issue, follow your doctors do and don't, a gambler who is hypertensive you start working on quitting gambling for life.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rollercoaster of emotions. How to deal with? on: January 02, 2024, 10:12:56 AM
Coming from a once crypto newbie, you will easily be consumed by emotions in crypto if you have no source of income, you will be less vulnerable to emotions if you are making money, mistakes will be easily corrected and you will be able to take risks without much worries.

Since you are investing in Bitcoin you are less consumed by stress of doing research like those who likes alternative coins, Bitcoin is far better than others and the only way you can still be emotional is you risking what you can't afford to lose, and this always happen when the investor is jobless.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: January 02, 2024, 09:36:43 AM
I've never seen such but I do know that people like using their debit cards to gamble and they end up in huge debt that they may never end up paying, that's why using debit cards to gamble in some countries got banned.

There is no casinos that allow gamblers to gamble and pay later, they knew that it's not good for business, some gamblers who end up in debt borrowed money from close relatives or friends, and they don't always pay back.

Ask yourself, if you build a casino will you allow people to play on debt? You know it will be very bad for your business, in a short period of time you will end up closing the casino down, due to lots of debt.
428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 02, 2024, 08:45:47 AM
We have talked about this so many times in the past, many people understand what responsible gambling looks like but they are not ready to put it in action, it's like having this habit of saving money, we all know that not all salary earners know how to save money, many people prefer to spend the money and wait for the next paycheck.

Everyone knows that gambling is about probability, a game of luck but having this sense of securing your fund and avoiding losing too much money is what most people can't do, and that's because they also want to make a lot of money, this is not a source of income like jobs, it's a game of luck, how hard can this be to understand? I guess that's why we have so many zombies in casinos.

Seriously it's not hard to see the whole picture about what gambling really looks like, it's ugly and unreliable way of making money, I have gotten passed that crazy feel of craving for money by gambling, it's something you just do without hoping for money because it's not like other ways of making money online, many other ways are better, having fun is the only thing I can guarantee you in gambling.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Connecting to Public Wifi on: January 01, 2024, 11:01:13 AM
Interesting, but I will like to inform you that not all online casinos care about this, unless it's available in their terms and conditions, but I have used a public wifi to gamble before and nothing bad happen, although I won't recommend that anyone should do the same because we aren't using the same online casino platform.

And later I found out that using public WIFI is not even safe, for your data and stuff, you can easily get hacked connecting to any public wifi 📶, some crazy hackers will even intentionally on their WIFI waiting for someone to connect, and you as a person will be thinking you have access to free data.

It's not a big problem on the casino part, at least it shouldn't be, because IPs do changes few times in a day, especially when you on and off your data, I believe it's the same with WiFI network too, as this is what happens when I use my Router to connect to my PC and other hardware.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: January 01, 2024, 09:06:36 AM
What matters is how lower the amount you decide to bet on games is, the lower the amount is the longer your gaming section will be, if all you have a $20 for example and you are placing $0.30 on each round of games you already should have the number of rounds you can go.

For someone who uses $0.10 it will be different, this person wi be able to go many rounds more than you that uses $0.30, and another advantage here is that this person will be expose to more chances of winning than you.

I leave when I run out of my $20, I can go 10 rounds or 20 rounds depending on how much I decide to risk, so you should be able to figure it out yourself without asking others, the most important thing in gambling is to know when to walk out, that's when you hit the amount you planned to lose.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: January 01, 2024, 08:30:18 AM
Gambling has been a part of our lives if you are an active gambler, and as this year is about to end, I would like to know your New Year's resolution.

Please share it with us here, and please don't make your new years resolution like you will not gamble again, that's against the rule of a gambler.

Also, I like to greet you all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Lol, I am guilty, as I thought that the main purpose of creating this topic is to see many people promising to quit gambling, but I don't plan to because there is no reason for me to quit anyway, I am in total control of my decisions.

My new year resolution is just like the past year, I want to improve in everything I have been doing and all the things I have been trying to build, knowledge is actually all I need to achieve everything I have always wanted.

As for gambling, I will keep doing it the same old way, I don't plan on changing my strategy or exposing myself to other gambling games that I am not too familiar with.

I have plans to quit hustling by April of 2024, it's been a long time coming and I need my rest, when you are exposed to too much stress, your body becomes the ultimate price.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 01, 2024, 07:59:16 AM
Both have their risks, depending on what you want, I don't like offline casinos, if this is the only casinos that exists I won't be a gambler, and I am fine with that.

I can see people talking about risk of overspending, like for real, many people should not be gambling at all, because they can't control themselves and that sucks so bad, I don't have a problem with using what I don't intend to use for gambling online and I do believe that this risk is also available for offline casinos.

There is a guy who used his master money to gamble in a offline casino and he lost it all, he rushed to a friend to borrow some money, instead of paying back his master he still went back into the casino again and still lose everything, that's when he fainted and people started trying to bring him back. This was how everyone knew what happened with him.

If you have a problem controlling your money, someone like you will do something stupid without having the sense that what you are about to do is stupid, you are simply just vulnerable, don't even gamble.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 31, 2023, 10:48:09 AM
No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

I don't go through emotional pain when gambling, if I lose money its what I can afford to give people that needs the money or buy things that I can share to the needs, gambling is a game of luck and I tend to handle gambling this way.

Truth be told, when it comes to relying on my luck I am not always that lucky, this is only work for me if I put in some hard work and efforts, luck do comes but I am not as lucky as some friends who are also into gambling, it's just better to understand yourself first before taking risks.

Since I am created this way I choose the minimal risk way to gamble, I use few money, that if I lose it won't even affect a hair on my head, it's still possible to make good amount of money using small amount isn't it? So why are we all greedy with luck? People still risks less than $ 0.20 on gambling and they win good amount of money, it's your choice.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I Too Broke To Own Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2023, 09:23:03 AM
To be honest, I don't really own bitcoins because I do not HODL. I always see myself selling my coins due to one issue or another, possibly because I really cannot afford to live my dream of holing until Bitcoin makes me rich.

In practice, I barely earn more than $3000 from my job, my wife's mortgage, and other demands waiting to snap up the money. Sometimes I sell in a bull market, and other times I sell in a bear market. Would you say that holding BTC isn't for everyone? Am I not too broke to depend on Bitcoin for financial freedom? Yeah, I'm working for my financial independence, but Bitcoin has remained a peripheral component of that plan. Only if I can HODL for a few years.

Do you comfortably HODL? 300% is quite a lot. 1000% for me is a dream.
I will like to know your country because earning $3000+ is a lot of money, there is no excuse as an investor in Bitcoin, if you can't hold then you choose not to hold, what I have learned the hardest way is that if you have a job it will be easier to hold Bitcoin for the long term, some people also don't understand how the market cycle works, they are confused about when to buy and hold and also when to start taking some profits, DYOR.

I don't recommend you buying some Bitcoin today and selling the same Bitcoin weeks later because of surviving or bills to pay, if what you are earning from your job isn't enough you need to lower your spending to be able to accumulate some Bitcoin, or you can find ways to make extra income for Bitcoin accumulation only, I know you will need a lot of money but having some Bitcoin in few years in the future will be the best decision you've ever made.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 31, 2023, 08:18:24 AM
Gambling wins is not even something to share to others, how will this motive anyone? When it's not a degree or a badge of honor, or even a safe way to success, if you win big today from gambling it doesn't mean you won't be broke again, and some people made millions from gambling only to lose everything back to gambling again, success from gambling is not something to celebrate.

If I win big I will rather keep it a secret, and that's why I choose online gambling, I don't want anyone to know that I am into gambling, so I have no reason to tell anyone that I win a lot from gambling, you are right that this can motive the stupid ones, because gambling is a game of luck, how can you be motivated by something that's all about pure luck?

436  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 31, 2023, 08:03:00 AM
Are there still real reviews online? Bots can generate reviews from any products or platforms online this days, reviews center or platform can also take money from companies to get rid of bad reviews from their products or platforms, I don't trust ant reviews online.

All you have to do is to be at the right place, for example, using bitcointalk forum to find the right casino suited for your need, how good a casino really is depends on your personal experience, but at least you will find out straight if the casino is a scam or not by using this forum.

Reviews about casinos are not really needed, find this forum and you will find the truth about any casino faster than using online search engines to look for probably fake reviews, you can't fake a review on here, because all the casinos have anns on this forum, where you can read about peoples experience on the platforms.

437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 30, 2023, 11:14:42 AM
I always hear stories of friends who always lose playing online gambling. I don't know what his purpose to tell his story to me. even it's clear, his story makes him look stupid.

Besides that, in another place, Many young people around to me still play slot gambling even don't have a job and always lose. I wonder where they get the money for deposits? and why they repeat that?. I don't know what the reason reason that doesn't bother them, they should have given up, and changed the game that makes them profitable. if I always lose in the game, I will change the type of game, example If I always lose on a slot, I will change the type of game like sports betting until my capital is back and try the luck again to the slot.

I also have a brother from another mother who has no job yet and he spend most times gambling only, I wonder where he got those money from until I saw a old friend of mine who revealed that my brother borrowed some money from him and it's been almost a year, he claimed my brother is now avoiding him.

The country situation is unforgiven on jobs, that is very popular here, but gambling is still not the solution like I told him when I called, but he is not willing to change, when situations are bad, people feel comfortable putting the blame on the country's bad economy.

It's been years that he has been jobless and I have tried telling him things he can do to make some money online, but he doesn't have any interest, if you have the mind of making money faster you will loose the most important things to learn, I never let my condition stop me years ago, I struggled to survive and I spent most of my time learning.

OP, the person you are talking about need a source of income first, or else he will have a lot of debt on him and probably turn into a criminal as time goes on, depending on how strong or weak his mind is.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Safety first before accumulation, a lesson I learnt the hard way on: December 30, 2023, 10:20:45 AM
It feels so good when one is obsessed with gradually getting hands on sats every week for future Bitcoin holdings, I used to believe that this is the most important thing to do, but I was wrong.

I was able to remember how I have lost some crypto assets to scammers because of my crypto wallet private keys revealing one way or the other, I still remember losing $300 worth of Bitcoin in 2018 and also something similar happened in 2020 and even 2022.

The mistake I made

Every small $$$ was so damn important to me that I only care about buying Bitcoin, i ignored going for a hardware wallet, until I lost $2000 using a software wallet, this was so painful that I got mad and took out some money to purchase my first Hardware wallet, something that I should have bought right from the start.

Do not let the same thing happen to you before you know the importance of having a hardware wallet, I have always known that hardware wallet is the safest but I ignored it, thinking I can't afford it, and I could, but I don't want to leave my accumulation of Bitcoin behind and spend hundreds of dollars on a hardware wallet, few open source hardware wallet are not even up to hundreds of dollars.

If you can accumulate Bitcoin every week or months, brothers and sisters you can afford a hardware wallet, I know you have a goal, to reach 0.3 BTC but mind you, making sure you hold the 0.3BTC securely is the most important thing, don't work hard for scammers to reap your reward, safety first.

I repeat, safety should comes first, if you are a beginner, start saving up for a secured open source hardware wallet now, we are heading into 2024, add this up to your plans if you don't have the money now, the safety of your Bitcoin is what will count in the end, not how much you have accumulated and lost.

439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 09:04:38 AM
Whatever the feeling you get after gambling is what you deserved, the ball is always in your court how you want your feelings to look like after you gamble, if you risk a lot of money that you are not prepared to lose it will ruin your feeling and if you use small amount of money that worth nothing to you then it won't matter what happen after the gambling ends.

The emotions in gambling comes with a lot of garbage, the type I don't want anything to do with, that's why I don't believe in fantasy, it's true that before you can manifest your dream you need to dream about it first, but doing the same with something that's built to bring in money from gamblers is wrong.

Let your gambling be risking small money to have some fun, if you want to make money go out and get a job, many gamblers are jobless and they go around finding people to lend them money, you are responsible for anything that happens or will happen to you as a gambler.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The frustrations in loosing a huge bet when your winning was so assured. on: December 30, 2023, 08:03:17 AM
Having total hope in gambling can ruin your hope in anything else, you don't want to start gambling with all your hope in the games, this is what messed people up fast.

I don't consider making money from gambling, my mind is set on me losing the few dollars again and few times I have been surprised, because I won instead, this is a better feeling compare to having your mind fixed on making money only.

Focus your attention on how much you are ready to lose constantly, maybe per week for gambling, the lower the amount the better you will feel, but winning is not something I can guarantee, but losing is ascertain, that's why you must not think about winning everytime.
