421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful and don’t promote a scam campaign on: January 15, 2024, 12:04:08 PM
You are right when you talk about members being careful to do scrutiny of campaigns before they get involved in them. I think you should know that before any campaign is scheduled to take effect on this platform, whomever the Yu contacted must have done his or her die diligence before accepting to promote them. Doing their due diligence gives members that confidence to apply for such campaign when it happens that such campaign is being promoted by a reputable manager.

In some cases, projects come clean to the platform and even if they have clear intentions of scamming people here they would not be quick to show it but rather they would start as a genuine project till their time to exit approaches as they have planned it which would not be clear to the manager to what they are up to until they have executed their plans.

So therefore blaming members of promoting scams unknown from the beginning is not the right thing because nobody have any idea if the project they are promoting is genuine or scam not until they must have spent a reasonable time which would available the opportunity for members to carry out their investigations on them to ascertain their genuity here.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just HODL on: January 13, 2024, 09:02:13 PM
Hodling is always the best option among the two. And those who bought Bitcoin when the price climbed to $47k these days have loss small but they still have the hope that before this year will end they gain back their profit and that is why hodle is the way. The risk in trading is much more than the investment. Because investment has less risk and in fact if you can hodle for years then you will never lose in investment. Trading is not everyone because not everyone can trade but investment is for all but you have to know that basic knowledge, elements and information of investment.

Having the basic information and knowledge of investment matters would guide you through your time as an investor. The knowledge you gain while preparing to invest is an added advantage to you because that could give you clues on how the market you are about to enter is; otherwise, you would have no idea what you are going in for if you did not have knowledge of it. It is not all about investment, though, and having the details at your fingertips matters as well. So therefore, when trading, you must have knowledge of the market and the current trend as of when you want to enter it.

Long-term investors can be likened to hodlers. They have long-term goals of holding compared to short-term investors, who are likely traders with the daily trading strategy of collecting profit within a short time trade. Since it takes skills to trade, not everyone can withstand the daily trading encounter of losses. In that case what you have said about trading not being for all and investment for all is quite alright.
423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit decay on: January 13, 2024, 07:57:40 PM
So far my stay here, I have never seen any complaint from any member talking about his or her smerit getting decayed or retrieved by a merit source or admin, but rather, it is only a banned account that can no longer be used any more that we can say so. I think we can categorize to that effect because once an account is banned, there is every possibility that the account would not be active here again, which means there is no way that account can send merit out. So therefore, we can say that the account smerit decayed if I am not mistaken.

Irrespective of the fact that an account is inactive for a long time, as long as that account is not banned and has smerit, that smerit would be there for the account owner till they remember to visit the platform again. In essence, I do not think smerit can be decayed.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Golfing Match Prediction Discussions - Golf and Crypto on: January 13, 2024, 07:06:23 PM
I like this concept you are trying to put up. Golf game seems to be another huge revenue generation sports basically for the the rich, high and mighty from the little observations I have made. Incorporating crypto into golf game would be a big  turn up for the Crypto and casino industry if I am not mistaken.

Here in my country the middle class rarely engage in golf game only the rich does that and they do not do it regularly but once in a while they organise golf games as competition amongst themselves and these are mostly done towards the festive season were it would be used as reunion or get together activities.

At first I will commend the reference you made on fillippone article as it is expository and educative. Newbies who come in contact with that book after reading it can not fall for scammers that easily. He did a great work putting up with the article.
I checked the wallet and I was not surprised to see that there are lots of Bitcoin in that wallet. Possibly those BTC might be assets stolen from people as they are just voluminous per transaction.

I will advise you not to interact with that wallet or withdraw the BTC you received from that wallet since you are not expecting anything from that wallet or anybody had informed you that they were going to send you BTC of that amount through. You just have to be careful so they do not steal you assets.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 01:44:54 PM
As a gambler these mentioned items are what should be properly noted. Although some of them are just amongst the few that are not necessary but it is good OP listed them here for all to see. If one can be able to do accordingly to the list while gambling, the rate at which addiction is growing will reduce drastically because of the self consciousness already aroused the sense of gamblers to make sure that they are gambling accordingly.

As listed by OP, if a gambler want their self-esteem to be maintained, they should act accordingly to making sure that they properly follow the up with the measures of not this post, atleast they could set up some guidelines for themselves to follow.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: January 12, 2024, 10:51:47 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform.  It is nice having you here.  I must commend your website and the UI design. You have a nice casino to announcement thread to start with but I was wondering why the restrooms on t he e numbers of country on an your list. Do you want to play or patronise your casino alone?

It is obvious how lengthy the list looks to start with. I think you should look into this aspect of your restrictions. Possibly review the list as that are some countries that can be feasible with casino activities. I noticed you already launched a campaign and that is very much good for you.
428  Economy / Gambling / Re: Reel Crypto - The Best Online Crypto Casino on: January 12, 2024, 02:51:58 PM
Welcome into this forum  Reel Crypto!

Just like been said or advised above that it would be nice or better if you do purchase up some copper membership on at least having some fancy ANN thread.
Checked out the site and it isnt really that looking bad and really that nice rather. Games offered are those common in todays standard though.

I did check about your No deposit bonus terms.
Please note that to be able to withdraw winnings from a "No Deposit Bonus"* you will first need to fill in your personal information under "Profile and settings">>"Account info" and provide KYC documents (identity document and proof of address).

https://www.reelcrypto.com/en/bonus-terms

I do not think they already have that kyc option to be verified through the customer profile dashboard, as I inquired about it and was told that kyc for the moment should be forwarded to "support@reelcrypto.com" for verification, and the dashboard option to upload kyc documents is not available, as said by the customer service.

This aspect of the customer care response got me a bit confused and made me think about the credibility of their casino. They encourage customers to play without registration and would demand verification for active status. I really do not get this. Can their representative please come up to give or make further explanations on this?

Hello everyone,

We would like to give an explanation regarding our KYC option.

1. To prevent fraud, money laundering, and underage gambling, it is important that we verify Players’ identities.

2. We may run verification checks at various points of a Player’s tenure while a Player is registered. For example, at the point of registration, when Players request withdrawals or if we notice irregular Betting Account behavior.

3. Players agree that we are permitted to use all reasonable means to confirm Players’ personal details, and creditworthiness and if necessary to meet our anti-money laundering legislation obligations, source of wealth, including passing such personal information to third parties such as document verification platforms. We will ask for documentary evidence from Players if our checks are inclusive.

4. Notwithstanding any other provisions of these Terms relating to withdrawals, if a Player fails our identity checks or fails to provide identity documentation following a request to do so, we may take any or all of the following steps:

4.1. temporarily or permanently close a Player’s Betting Account;

4.2. confiscate (“Confiscate”) funds held in a Player’s Betting Account;

4.3. refuse to process any withdrawals, until proof of identity is provided that is satisfactory to us.

5. We reserve the right to request proof of identity from the user in order to maintain the active status of their Betting Account. This can include but is not limited to, requesting proof of identity documentation or conducting a video phone call with our security team.

I believe you read my comment very well to get it clear. Do you not think it would be better you request for KYC upon registration than all these stories you have written here. It would be pretty much understandable that KYC is required by the casino upon registration than allowing gamblers to register without demanding for KYC and upon withdrawal, you start to demand for KYC and looking for all means to disqualify a player's win based on the fact that they did not meet up with requirements and therefore you suspend their accounts. Of what point is it then to claim to be a free KYC casino then you block members account when you claim to be  a KYC free casino according to your customer service response.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 12, 2024, 02:40:21 PM
We countlessly experiences new gamblers on daily basis in the gambling boards. Not just in this platform of
a mere gambling discussion but in a reality of gambling. So briefly, I call to your attentions the newbie gamblers to be aware that>>>
"Responsible gambling is cordially adhered by your audible alertness to realize that temptations as irresponsible gambling is inspired by your desperacies of making profits or recovering your losts".

Fellow experienced gamblers, your brief contributions would also be valuable.
Talking about responsible gambling, it really entails a lot as compared to just been careful because anybody can try to be careful but not everyone gambles responsibly probably because they don't understand fully what it really means to gamble responsibly probably they may think because they're not addicted yet they are gambling responsibly.

Discipline is something you can't take away from responsible gambling because you can't gambling responsibly if you aren't discipline but you can be disciplined and not gamble, all these are factors newbies should consider in their quest to get it right gambling. Greed is another factor that fuels irresponsible gambling and to get rid of greed you have to be disciplined again, some how almost everything that will help you avoid bad gambling habit has a lot to do with discipline so basically I see it that if you are disciplined you gamble better.

Being disciplined alone can be helpful in making a gambler responsible while gambling. It's not about just gambling but being able to have that self-control as to when to quit gambling and when to say no to peers influence in gambling. Not only that, how often you frequent casino and gambling house too speaks of your level of discipline.  Until you minimise your frequent visits to casinos both online and in-house, then you can say that you are disciplined anything outside this might likely be mere words.

Lastly,  as a newbie gambler you should know the
basic  fundamentals of gambling before engaging otherwise you will be engulfed in a losing spree that you can not explain and it would definitely result to you chasing loses which is express to you being an addict.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 12, 2024, 12:38:46 PM
Newbies are really not inclined when it comes to gambling. I have come to realise that newbies do not really take their time to know the basic gambling principles before engaging in gambling exercise but rather, they just jump into it with the mindset of making profit and  making ends meet from it but that is far from their thoughts as gambling is just for fun and the earlier they realise it the better for them.
Responsible gambling should be part of their gambling lifestyle so they do not make mistakes while gambling as it is, they are prone to making loses with such mindset and people like them are the type that chases their loses and in the course of doing that, they become addicted to gambling and that is where the genesis of their gambling problem prolongs.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 12, 2024, 11:12:43 AM
I would not doubt the fact that casinos give bonuses but it depends on the nature of the conditions attached. If someone wins such multiplier and has not fully registered with the casino, it would require them to undergo a full registration process and a proper verification on the account be done as to know the next step because I have realised that most of this bonuses comes with huge responsibility from the casino.

Referrals sometimes have some task attached to their referal links which they would need to accomplish before the release of the rewards and such modalities must be fully accomplished before they release the rewards. In some cases, in noticed that most casinos prefer using influencers to do their referal contests and some certain numbers or criteria must be met by their downliners before they could be able to access their rewards. I believe most of these conditions are what must be met before any of the tagged bonuses could be released as initiated by the casinos.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: January 11, 2024, 05:43:51 PM
OP I was wondering how they got to know you in person and were able to monitor you. Who called you out for a job? Where did they get your job information to have called you for your services? When you arrived at your job destination, who did you call first to inform them that you had arrived there? How were they able to identify you? Looking at the volume of bitcoin and the dollar equivalent, it is a good sum of money to start with. You could have saved yourself by keeping your assets behind since you are going to a place you have not been before for a job.

Possibly there must have been an insider who could know your activities and is very sure you go about with your assets and funds and decided to take advantage of your ignorance to steal your assets. Aside from that, who knows about your bitcoin investment?

From the looks, it seems you had similar occurrences years ago based on posts I have read here, and you were not able to learn a lesson from them. I just hope you learn from this otherwise you will constantly be their target to always steal from.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 11, 2024, 03:39:44 PM
Really people do not learn from peoples experience but rather would prefer having their own first experience before they could realise that they had made a mistake. The issue of obtaining loan is never a wise idea rather if one should go for a loan, it should be for investment purposes and not for gambling because it is not guaranteed that it might turn out to be a win in one's favour. I have never seen a situation where by a win spree is declared by a casino that one would muster that confidence to go for a loan so they could win a casino.

Casino games are always in-house victory in their favour and not for gamblers. So this is enough reason why as a gambler you should be wise and not seek for loan to gamble because your winning is not guaranteed and such casino would only end up taking from you what you have with them leaving you with nothing.
If they prefer to experience their own experience, they have to feel the bitter reality where they get that experience through themselves. But it's different if they can learn from other people's experiences so they don't have to feel it because maybe they won't find a way out. After all, the scenario will be different from the one they will face. If they can learn from other people's experiences, at least they can think about a way out and won't be confused about finding a solution if they experience it because they have already found a way to solve the problem.

Casino games are gambling games that require money to start, although people can use the demo mode to play gambling games. That means they don't need to borrow money from other people, which could burden them when they want to pay the money, especially if they experience a lot of losses. Hopefully, they can realize what they have done and start reducing their gambling activities for their own good.

These days, learning from peoples experience saves stress and makes one keeps abreast of happenings as it bothers around such activities. In scenarios as this, it is unwise to just take it upon oneself to do such. Borrowing to gamble does not sounds normal. It is just like one rubbing their hands in excretes when you are given water to wash your hands. Gambling is not a bad idea but that should not warrant you to get addicted to the point of going after a loan to gamble. If it is okay for one to look into gamblers histories, one would be able to learn from it and use it as a guide if they still deem it fit to gamble. But however like they say experience is a teacher only a reasonable person would learn from that experience and not act otherwise. OPs case should be a lesson as well.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 11, 2024, 03:06:07 PM
Without the casino the game provider would have no clients to patronise them. The casino is not stupid to allow access the game provider to take full control of funds on their platform or allow payment to go directly to the game providers just like that. I believe their is always a mutual agreement between both parties as to protect their interest  before they gave a deal which will guide them through and put every one in a check to know their limits.
The game provider can be a third party on the casino website allowing access to gamblers to play their games based on the agreement binding both parties but the payment would be done directly to the casino and tje casino would remit or pay the game provider their quota based on their payment agreement. I think this is how it works for them.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about NewCryptoCasinos.com ? on: January 11, 2024, 02:52:59 PM
OP, I had to go through your website and I must commend your efforts to putting up those casinos and giving your website a good touch. I see you listed some casinos to be the best casinos so far.  I also checked if I could see bets.io casino which we all know is an award winning casino and is amongst one of the best casinos trending as you can see for yourself.
Would it not be better you do the needful by updating your list to standard so as to be accurate with lots of casinos that are up and running with good reputation and are very much reliable.
436  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 11, 2024, 02:07:17 PM
I have no idea why so many people are so surprised about this thread being a giant advertisement for their site when the truth is that it's pretty damn obvious that it is and this is an old-school strategy.

They probably felt the heat recently due to the whole wagering requirement controversy which is why they seem to be trying to divert our attention cleverly in this manner.

I thought as much though because I had known that this trend of awareness seems not just as we think. Like it is always said, their is always a way to calm the storm and they choose to do so by coming up with an 8months old win to cover up their mess that gamblers and potential customers would not know what they are really up to.
Really this is an old fashioned way to play tricks ß you have said but a good one for them as they have utilised the opportunity to do a petty awareness campaign for themselves. What a cool strategy they could think of at this moment.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 11, 2024, 10:50:52 AM
Its never been that wise in the first place and it would be always best that you should really know on what are the actions that you are making. Its never been sensible on taking up some loans
just for you to gamble. It would be that better that you do make out some loans when you are doing invesment but if not then its not really that wise on doing such thing. You are just basically making yourself that putting in much trouble if you do make out such decision. People wont really be that be able to learn up something until they would be able to experience those unfortunate conditions on which this had been always the main problem for most is that they do learn when its too late.

438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 10, 2024, 10:28:56 PM
Gambling with borrowed funds is looking like you are risking yourself twice. We can also say seems like you are Double Downing with a 16 soft hand. Smiley Where you have a very low chance to win and if you lose it will be double.

Of course, gambling with borrowed funds increases the pressure and this also can force you to make some risky decisions because you must need to win to pay the loan.
I can't see myself using borrowed money to gamble. That could be toxic to me but I think there are people who are good using borrowed money to gamble and they are cool with that. It makes sense when we use our own money to gamble and if we don't have any winnings, we can go back home and relax which is better that using funds that do not belong to us and losing could be tragic to us making ur overreact because the money could have been used for something better that will yield results. Everything thing in gambling is very risky and our decisions need to be analysed carefully so we don't make decisions that would hurt us later.

I do not see it as a wise decision to gamble with a loan or borrowed money when you do not have any guarantee of winning a gamble. It is obvious that some gamblers do that and if you do a close check on them, you will realise they are addicted gamblers and that will keep them in mortgage. Gambling is not a quick alternative to wealth and that has been the mindset of some gamblers who have the ideology of keep trying one day it will pay off that is how they get deceived and keep gambling to the point of taking loans for gamble.

Until gamblers begin to see the risk involved in gambling, they would never think of it till they have an encounter that would cost them something meaningful that could help them in the future, that is when they realise that they have lost something and begin to mend their ways to stop gambling if at all they could.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: January 10, 2024, 10:03:46 PM
As much as gambling is a game and fun to do, there are also some other sides to it. As you have asked, it is pertinent to note that gambling has its own side effect on relationships. I know of a man who is a chronic and addictive gambler who always quarrels with his spouse at night whenever he returns from a gambling house. He has sold so many of their properties without her consent and has gambled all his funds.  Some relationship ended as a result of gambling; although some were able to resolve and offer a solution to there gambling predicament, a relationship which a partner does not open up their gambling lifestyle to each other tends to always hit brick wall and, if not properly handled, could cause problem in their relationship as they live together.

Amongst friends, there is sometimes misunderstanding as a result of one discovering that their friend is a gambler. If it happens to be adult youth or teens, as the case may be, and a parent discovers that their child is keeping gamblers as friends, they will quickly restrict their child from meeting that friend and tag them a bad influence. In this part of the world where I come from, parents are fond of doing it. They are always over protective of their children upto the point of restricting their child from getting along with their friend's not to talk of when they found out that their child is keeping a gambler as a friend.

It would be near impossible to easily predict the algorithm because of the way it was designed to be of good favour to the house. If you never can predict such games is it the algorithm that you can predict or do you think the house is that naive to allow such happen to them?
One thing we should know is that things of such nature is always built in the way that the house is always favoured by the end results because to them it is a kind of investment that should always be in their own side because they assume players are just there to catch fun while playing so what point is it giving them everything back in the name of fun hence the tendencies to win a game became very minuit. That is why it is advisable to gamble just for fun.
