Op the fried who was eager to sell his Bitcoin does not understand Bitcoin and also he do not understand scam. If he was hodling Bitcoin for some times now and that the market price just slightly reduce  and he started to panic again to sell off his coins. That looks like hypocrite. The guy is not truthful because probably he is hidden something from his friend if how some keeps Bitcoin when it was high and selling in the low. If if was a Ponzi Scheme, he wouldn't keep his coins there until now.

And if he kept it till now, he wouldn't withdraw it because they would freezed the coins and tell him different stories to steal the coins. Well if it was used as a Scam Connotation but the new resurrection of the term "Crypto" has changed meaning and it is no longer the old term you know before. Now you direct crypto to cryptography which is not the denotation meaning of the word concerning in this context of the forum. "Crypto" in the use of bitcoin means cryptocurrency which is a digital currency and not the other way round you are thinking of. When a word is used there are different formation before it will be accepted conventionally.

Therefore the way you see crypto is different from the original meaning of the prefix in the forum. And I think the prefix "crypto" is attached to currency and not graphy so in addition it is well known as Cryptocurrency.

In most times those are plan or agreement between the project owners and the exchanges. The project owners would pay the exchange to list the new projects and the owners would pumped money inside the project to attract people and those who are eager to make money would think that there is money in the new projects which has been listed in the exchange with market cap of $30 billions and because of that people would invest in it and when the time has reached foe the exchange to remove the coins from the exchange because the payment time has elapsed then they'll delist it.

And all those people that invested in it would lost their money so we should not be deceived by the shitcoins methods to attract people themselves through self sponsored projects.

I don't this is a dip Bitcoin is Still going down so if you say that the $57k is the dip so investors should buy then you are mistaking. The price will still go down to $52k. I have heard about Tom network mostly when the bitcoin transaction fee was very high last year, people were advising me to use TON network but I was not interested. And another about this TON network is that since it is from Telegram Network, people will not like to use it because they believed that anything from telegram is not genuine and scammers will use it to scam people and that is not far from the truth. Keep your coins in the non custodial wallets for safety.

Whitepaper that is not clearly stated the meaning and the purpose of the project is not a good project and I have seen many projects with their whitepapers and nothing to discuss about. The number one purpose of any cryptocurrency project is to pay or buy things digitally or online and that is the main purpose of bitcoin but that has been defeated because of the high transaction fee shops refused to take or accept bitcoin.

I have not seen any project to discuss the whitepaper because the main purpose is not stated there. And the only thing every project needs is to make investment and not to pay Goods and Services
