I have securely stored my seed phrase in two separate places. The first copy is on a piece of strong paper, and the second backup is on my old laptop, which has been formatted and is not connected to the internet.

I have written down the seed phrase as a single .txt file with one text on each file for 12 times, with each of the words numbered sequentially from 1 to 12, following the order of the seed words.
like this [1.txt], [2.txt], [3,txt] [....].
422  Local / India / Discussing about Bitcoin to Friends and Relatives. on: October 22, 2023, 02:15:17 PM
Hello everyone,
I had like to ask you a question that How often Do you talk about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies with your friends and relatives?
It is something I have been thinking lately. When I think of sharing my excitement about crypto with people I care about. I often wonder about two things:

1. Is Bitcoin Risky?: One major concern that holds me back is the perceived risk of Bitcoin. What if people invest and end up losing their hard-earned money?
How do you approach this aspect when talking about crypto?

2. Beating Inflation and Earning Profits: On the other hand, I also see the potential for people to beat inflation and make decent profits from cryptocurrencies.
So, should we consider discussing the financial benefits as well?

Have you had similar hesitations or successful conversations about crypto's potential risks and rewards with your friends and Relatives? Share your thoughts!
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 09:45:34 AM
For me hitting 50x of my base bet is enough to leave the casino and if not satisfied with the winnings i will just play 1-3 bigger bets with my winning amount nothing more than that.
or winning half of my bankroll is also acceptable for me to leave casino for that day. but I always stay disciplined when I play that last 1-3 bigger bets with my winnings,
if that amount is lost then, lost. I don't chase that losses. I know that if I chased that losses i will going to empty my bankroll.

One more point to add: Clear mindset
Having a clear and fresh mind is really important when gambling. It helps us to make better choices and understand the risk. If you are tired or stressed in that moment, your mind may go blank, and you may make quick decision that you regret later. Therefore, it is important to relax and play with fresh mind. A clear head will help you make better decisions and lead to better results.
once i was playing dice in lazy way in stressed condition and made a number mistake and lost m bankroll in a second
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 09:27:52 AM
I don't like these long lists of bets because the probability of losing increases exponentially with the number of games.

this approach pushes users to risk more than necessary. I always suggest playing single events, victory is more easy and there is no risk that a single event could ruin everything Roll Eyes

I agree with your POW. Placing many small bets on many games can result in lower payouts and increase the risk of losing a significant portion of our bankroll.
When we lose more our minds record the percentage of money lost, which can cause us to take more risks to recover those losses.
By only playing one game, we can minimize the possibility of losing a large chunk of our funds/bankroll. This allows us to approach the game in a more disciplined and strategic manner, concentrating on each and every event.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: October 22, 2023, 09:03:45 AM
I mostly play on one platform at a time, so I do not keep track of deposits, withdrawals, wins, losses, etc. The casino website itself keep these records for me.
If I want to check the amount I deposited, I simply check the transaction history provided by the casino.
Notable wins, like those with a 10x, 50x or 100x multiplier, are usually automatically recorded in memory, so I don't find it necessary to keep a separate spreadsheet or physical record .

But it's important to keep track of my deposits because it helps me make informed decisions about how much money I should allocate to gambling.

428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: October 22, 2023, 07:57:46 AM

I think you understood emotions in trading the way I do . Emotions plays a major role even in entering trade , emotions can push you to enter a trade you are not supposed to , emotions can make you to stay in a trade which you supposed to optout . As a beginner trader you will always fall in for this emotions there's no way, that's just the fact!

Many new traders lose money because they allow their emotions to get the hold of them. When the price moves against their trade, they panic. They either exit their trade too early or hold on for too long, hoping it will turn in their favor, but the market does what it wants. If they exit too early, trading fees can eat up their funds because they end up with many break-even trades.
So, it's best to trade without emotions or set your trade and step away from your computer.

I agree with you, straight KYC after registration is sure far better and easier than having to go through KYC after one have won a significant amount of money and wants to withdraw, but the casino insist that the customer must pass kyc verification before his or her withdrawal will be processed.

I think thats valid to some point. Going through the KYC (Know Your Customer) process during registration can save you the hassle of doing it later when you win at a casino. The verification process may be smoother at this moment compared to a future scenario where you're forced to complete KYC. Even though it's a good idea to get verified early, you should be cautious about sharing your personal information during registration. Not all online casinos can be trusted. That's why it's crucial to choose reputable casinos and not just any you come across on the internet.

it is important to choose a reputable casino first, if we start to play on any fancy casino without researching them or reading the review from their players, it highly likely that the casino is involve in stealing players money.
I always do level 1 and level 2 KYC after registering on a reputable casino, Because once I won 5x on my deposit and the casino i was playing on is not allowing for withdrawal. their support said you will need to complete KYC. and they asked many documents that are not easy to get like passport, Driving licence, etc. I don;t have both. so learned my lesson hard way and now I always play on few reputed casino after completing KYC/

And every gambling game, no matter the type, still require luck, sports betting, casino games, poker, card games, slot machines, skill based, knowledge based, luck based all still need the gambler to be lucky to win, though the level of luck required for each of this varies from one another.

You know, the whole luck thing is a bit tricky to argue. I mean, when you're in the gambling scene, luck isn't the first thing on your mind, at least from a realistic standpoint. That's because if you truly believe that your skills and knowledge can keep you winning, luck becomes more like a fleeting guest at the party. It shows up now and then, but your skills? They're your constant companions in this game.

It's not tricky if you are a gambler you would understand that we can't win if we are not lucky, with all the skills we have... No matter how much knowledge and skill we have, in the end, we all gamble... do you think you need the knowledge and skill to play all in with two aces in your hands? What knowledge and skill can do for you if some team has a bad night/week/month? I guess you need to play many hands with two aces to understand that "luck" is very important in poker, that river card can make a big difference, and if you are not lucky you will lose even with great cards.

In case of sports betting, there is the element of luck, which can occur in the form of unexpected events such as player injury or an unexpected upset.
But, having a good understanding of the sport will help you make better bets in the long run. Both skill and knowledge can help you make better long-term profits, but luck still plays a role in individual results.

The answer to the question “which is better?” depends on the context and time frame in which you are gambling. For example, over a few hands of play, luck may win out over skill and knowledge. On the other hand, over a longer series of plays, skill may win out over knowledge.

437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is cluster? on: October 20, 2023, 03:08:28 AM
Yesterday a user (newbie) pmed me asked about my wallet provider.
Newbie="let me just know who the wallet provider is.  I see the cluster has grown to over 16000, so more interested now as it looks to be a good service."
"We just do not have this cluster identified we found that your address is in the cluster.  We only need who the service is, no other information..."

I replied= "I don't use any service or anything. This address is auto generated by the stake.com's system. like most of the exchanges generate addresses for their users."

My question is what is a cluster and how can we see it and where?

440  Local / India / Re: Introducing P2PX Non-KYC Cryptocurrency exchange on: October 19, 2023, 08:31:06 AM
Thank you, @pakhitheboss, for introducing this exchange. It's great to see a non KYC P2P exchange for INR, which can help protect our KYC information.
it should be noted that it is still in its early stages and has some limitations, such as high minimum withdrawal amounts, only supports Polygon blockchain for deposits, etc.
Many of our questions were answered in the FAQ section of the website.
