Nice pump today, almost doubled the price and still almost 40% rise.

Hope this is sustainable.

Hello members!

Yes, we did not reach 1000 participants.
We have now about 250.
And it was already announced.
We ll add new participants later doing it step by step.

Some people who where rejected from campaign, please, dont be offended.
It does not mean you are spammer or farmer. It means your posts are not enough constructive and informative and due to some conflicts on forum, we don't want to make this conflict deeper and bigger.

Also there were some participants who for some reasons were not paid but they were not banned.
I think there were some mistakes with their enrollment.
In any way we ll solve it step by step.

And we received lots of messages from you.
Sorry, if I can not answer to everyone. If you would read more detailed the thread, you would find all answers to your questions.

In any way I ll try to respond to all of you.

Please we need a spreadsheet or list of participants at the moment, I just need to be sure that am in the campaign thanks..

423  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-06-10] The State of Montana funds company working on a ‘bitcoin processing on: June 11, 2017, 12:24:30 AM
The State of Montana funds company working on a ‘bitcoin processing center.’

In the first-ever reported case of a US State funding what looks to be a Bitcoin mining operation, Montana’s Governor recently announced that $416,000 was awarded to a “data center that provides blockchain security services for the bitcoin network.”

Governor Steve Bullock recently announced $1,124,030 in economic development grants to assist Main Street businesses across Montana with creating 116 jobs, providing workforce training and developing plans for growth and expansion.

The funds are being awarded through the Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund (BSTF) and the Primary Sector Workforce Training Grant (WTG) programs at the Department of Commerce, Office of Tourism and Business Development.

426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ridiculously high *transaction Fees* needs to be fixed asap! on: June 09, 2017, 11:34:07 PM
Hi everyone, I only registered to increase the pressure on the bitcoin community with this topic.

Recently I started investing into bitcoin, but nowadays bitcoin seems useless to do small payments or donations, since the transaction fees cost me like 0.003 BTC which is 7.69 eur. (I am not willing to pay such high fees)

If this is not gonna get fixed, bitcoin's growth will be slowed down and less people will be making transactions,
bitcoin will become just an investment commodity and not an everyday currency.
Or eventually the lack of transactions will reduce the value of bitcoin, until 0.003 BTC won't be that much money, which will self-fix the problem. But in that case, many investors will be pissed including me.

I have read about segwit that it could possibly fix this issue and that only ~30% of miners are willing to accept segwit for now.
  • Is there any plan for an important fix of the block size capacity or something that will reduce the fees?
  • How do you feel about this?
  • What can we do about it?

Even if bitcoin becomes more like gold, it still is very worthwhile in exchanging between alts and gaining value from that.

What can we do? Buy cloud mining power in a mining pool that wants what you want.

You can also run nodes and support what you want

Or buy your own mining hardware and mine in a pool that supports what you want.

This will only be solved through mining power I think. Many people already discuss this issue here daily so you know.

Never tell newbies to buy cloud mining power. We all know that most of the cloud mining services are scams and you may get one or more newbies pissed off because they lost all their bitcoins following your advice
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: a 100-150 jump in price daily is avg for volatility of btc on: June 09, 2017, 11:28:05 PM
just expect that btw, so far it's remained steady around 2750 btc
I would suggest that you hold your Bitcoins because the trend for Bitcoin looks like it could make it up to around $3,000 in a very short time. The price of Bitcoin was at $2,933 on Bitstamp a few days ago and the price of it now looks like it’s recovering.

Now the price is stable, with no signs of moves in any directions.

Like if the market is is waiting for something to decide if it will go up or down
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 09, 2017, 11:22:26 PM
Bro, I've been in BTC longer than that chart... if it was truly parabolic my $50K investment in bitcoin wouldve made me a millionaire, not a lame thousand-air

This is slow steady growth, which I'm not complain about at all, I love it actually. But people are claiming that we are due for a huge crash... I mean what?? We haven't even had much fun yet! At least give me dat parabolic move BEFORE we crash and do a 50% retrace

I've only been into Bitcoin since it had just finally broken out of single digits for good but if you look back to when it was worth less than a penny per coin you'll see that its growth has indeed been and still is parabolic. To really see it, look at the log chart for the last 7 years.

Sure, there was that anomaly back in 2014-5  when it dipped below the ascending line. Look at the log chart before or after that anomaly and you'll see they're both rising at a parabolic rate. That'd why I chose a chart starting in summer of 2015.

If you'd bought in 2012 or early 2013, your $50k investment would have already made you a multi-millionaire.
Parabolic != Exponential

Exponential can be approximated as a parabolic series for low intervals with high precision. Remember Bitcoin is new and the grow can't be exponential or parabolic forever
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin really worth it? on: June 09, 2017, 11:16:07 PM
I was looking at this Beecoin and thinking about investing in it. It is dirt cheap.

However as I was looking at the price and stuff, I saw someone had bought like 650million beecoins. I'm thinking, "If that coin rises to the value of one cent, he/she is millionaire!"

What am I missing here because I've been trying to ride the Bitcoin/Litecoin waves here recently and I've made a little, but I'm no millionaire. What say you?

Bro think about it. Lets say you buy 1 btc, it goes up 10% or 50% you have just a bit more btc

But let's say you buy 1 btc worth of alt coins. Lets say your alt coin goes from 500 satoshi to 1000 satoshi. You've just doubled ur alt coin value and if you sell you got 2btc. On top of that, btc value is also going up, so your value of btc in fiat is even higher.

This is a no brained for me. And if you research the right coin, and get like 5x return ur fiat value is insane

What do you think?

I think you forgot to mention that there is no warranty that the coin will gain value, or gain value in the time frame you predict.

You may lose money too, even if you know what you are doing.

I myself lost in almost all forays I made into altlands
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [GBYTE] Byteball Speculation on: June 09, 2017, 11:00:51 PM
Be prepared! Next Byteball distribution round is today. I expect that Byteball price will be very volatile today and the next days. The big surge was mainly caused by the double payout today and there could be a slight correction.

The dump happened, from above 0.3 to 0.21, but already recovered and now is around 0.26

When will the pre next airdrop pump going to happen?

Guys, why my wallet always catching up 1-3 blocks, regularly syncing with network?

Maybe something else is eating your bandwidth or you don't have enough computer resources for a faster syncronization?

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: June 09, 2017, 09:05:03 PM

Check Mine byteball:3SPRV5UZ34QAYFDTLYHIK57JTZZDTGA3

I got much less for more BTC this round.

You have 3 BTC addresses linked to it:
1HfgcxtYQVL16JtgBZKbpEy5rHhvDMpLij - This one you used to pay a micro.
When you did that, you moved the rest of those coins to: 1DB6dm62EGwwWALrTLuXmvTGrcME3VsB91   leaving nothing in the verified address

1E76pqeQ151KVyUkbpRATehRBPFx3KFFsM - This is an address you signed with.  You moved those coins to: 13ig1UBgckKxWVqfQXCfqFHba7h7M988sS

13ig1UBgckKxWVqfQXCfqFHba7h7M988sS   10.65477581

That was the confirmed amount at time of drop (and still what you have in that address).

So, 10.65477581 * .0625 = 0.665923488 GByte

Checking:https://explorer.byteball.org/#3SPRV5UZ34QAYFDTLYHIK57JTZZDTGA3

Balance: 665,923,488 bytes

You got EXACTLY what you were supposed to get.

Well how did I get more GB's last air drop with less BTC then?

maybe you hold more bytes in your wallet?

you get 20% more after each airdrop

440  Other / Meta / Re: Where is Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcointalk Profile? on: June 09, 2017, 08:37:24 PM
can you imagine him logging back in? wow

Better question is which account is he using now?

Do your really think the guy or people who created the thing that this entire Forum revolves around isn't still here talking or reading or participating?

Satoshi is here, they just can't maintain anonymity with the handle "Satoshi".

or maybe he is too busy spending his almost infinite supply of money that he surely has
