Yeah, I found a block.    Cheesy   Which one?
423  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~540 Gh/s Mining Pool] INSTANT PAYOUT,+1% with LP! +0.8% for no failed blocks! on: May 11, 2011, 12:35:11 AM
No,  Not DNSRBL but business class web filtering.  Nothing to worry about if your a home user, but any other organization that is using Websense (schools, large companies) will now get this in their database download.

How many of us are behind Websense?  Luckily,  I'm the admin.

Good to know Smiley  Do you price for small businesses (say five desktop computers  and a couple of servers our appliances and of those desktops only a few users are of need to secure because some adult family is part of the business).  I could recommend you for my Brother's business.  PM me if you have anything worth knowing that is not available on your website.

Sorry, No.  I'm not associated directly with Websense. I just administer it for my employer. That gives me access to make recommendations for re-classifications to their master database.

What happens is someone browses to a site that is unclassified, It is allowed but reported nightly to Websense where they run their automatic categorization engine against the site. In this case, it came back as "Pay to Surf" (weird). Then subscribers to the Websense database get updated.

Websense would be an expensive solution for such a small shop.

Don't want to get this thread off-topic,  Sorry for the intrusion.  Now back to mining and deepbit.

I discovered today that Websense filtering was blocking access to BTCmine.com.  It was categorized as "Games".  I had them re-categorize it to Information Technology.

Thank you for using Websense's new URL category lookup utility.

The site you submitted has been reviewed and categorized accordingly:

<http://btcmine.com/> - <Information Technology>

Categorization updates should be available in the next scheduled publication of the database. A new database is published every business day, five days a week, Pacific Standard Time.  You should notice any updates referred to in this message within 72 hours.

My miner (phoenix 1.45) appears hung.  Last share sent 21:36:38 PST. (30 Min ago)

does not appear to be attempting reconnect,  Just sitting at 0 MH/s.

restarting it.

Edit: running another instance connected immediately.

This is a bug in Phoenix that has been fixed in 1.46.

Thank you,  I'll update tonight and send you a donation for your assistance.

436  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fee Mining Pool (Long polling, JSON API) on: May 10, 2011, 01:00:06 AM
Wow,  Your quick on the improvements.      I've changed my donation to 3%.

I'd love to see a "Dashboard" page that would be a combo of account page (est payout exc), worker stat page and found block history.  That would be cool.
437  Other / Meta / Re: Thank God, You Can Now Applaud People! on: May 10, 2011, 12:55:51 AM
