421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 14, 2017, 10:47:16 AM
I think not, because no coin will be this much supported in this market. Everyone knows about bitcoin and if a new coin will rise up many people would still be loyal to bitcoin like me.

So its very hard to a altcoin to take bitcoins place in my opinion.
If bitcoin will go down altcoins will also go down and most of the time altcoins follow the movement of bitcoin.
The price of bitcoin will rise and that is for sure but we cannot expect it will be replace by an altcoins, let's just say altcoins have a limit and will not be more popular than bitcoin itself.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 13, 2017, 10:27:43 PM
if replaced it is impossible in my opinion, Bitcoin is only 21 million pieces of coins,
but Bitcoin will continue to dominate the cryptocurrency, because Bitcoin is the first coin and the pioneer of cryptocurrency...
Bitcoin is the father and the price of altcoins depends on the success of bitcoin.
You can already tell by the name itself, they are alternative currency so the original should always be the most progressive.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: November 13, 2017, 10:15:47 PM
Yes ofcourse, i would love to save my whole money in bitcoin and wait for 5 to 10 years to grow my money. this is a good question you've got. i will recommend this to my family also about this matters. coz they know that i'm saving my money thru bitcoin..

its profitable to save  for a long time because bitcoins prices are on the ever increase ride and no matter how it tumbles it will rise back up again and so you ll not loose if you invest into it in the long term.

that's right people will realize that bitcoin has a real value that it will give as max potential, no matter the price is still bitcoin is always pumping and keeps going up trend.. this is the best investment of a lifetime..
For sure it is because we have seen it dump and now it's back to it's normal trend, when we keep holding our bitcoin we can expect
we'll get great benefits on it because it will make us more profitable as the value will continue to rise.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: November 07, 2017, 06:00:46 AM
To everyone holding Bitcoin and anyone getting into cryptocurrencies it is because they understand that fiat already is worthless. Sure we have to use it every day for our purchases, but that is because we are forced to live in this system. With Bitcoin we now have an option to be part of a whole other system and it is one that is transparent and immutable.
I don't think like that, bitcoin will increase it's value due to it's limited supply but fiat will remain, even if the two will continue to be useful
that would not eliminate the fact that we can still make money by holding bitcoin for a longer period for time.
I am actually a holder and I don't easily sell when my ambitious target will not be hit.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: November 07, 2017, 05:43:06 AM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624
the loan is really risky if you do not pay the right time especially when it comes to interest you lose youe debt.
Well you can run away if you have no legal binding on the lenders, that is a usual situation for online lending.
This is a risky business for the operators as they might lose a lot of money if they do not know how to diversify, let's have more borrowers here
than few borrowers with big loans.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: November 06, 2017, 06:50:14 AM
I believe investing is far better than buying and selling. but you need to have to have appropriate expertise about the place you investing. There is increased threat to get scammed very easily. And if you can do it correctly, certainly you will be the gainer. Investing is a complete good way besides the risk element
That depends on your goal and you ability, if you are good in trading then buying and selling is good for you as you can easily
make money even in just a short period of time. This is similar to gambling but at least when you have the skills you have a better chance to be profitable.
427  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 06, 2017, 06:40:57 AM
Fiat currency is the need of many economies.
Developing nations as well as third world countries can't afford digital currencies.
They don't have adequate setup of electricity, internet connections, mobile phones are used as a medium of communication only.
Economies of many countries are worst affected by civil war and terrorist activities.
In such countries paper currency is the only option. Developed nations have developed economies so they can use digital or crypto currencies. They can replace fiat currency by bitcoin. But it will take time.
Exactly, bitcoin can only help to fast track online transactions and that would help money from different countries coming in easily.
With wallet to wallet transaction using a decentralized system it can be cheaper than a normal bank transaction that is why some will prefer bitcoin
but fiat is always the choice of majority of people.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: October 09, 2017, 01:08:26 AM
When there is a drop, especially in bitcoin, if i would always buy more. Because, hey it's cheap! I mean for sure, with the trend of the market before the dip, it will rise up again. True enough, when bitcoin was down because of what happened in China, it's pure profit now
Positive news from china now and we can see this price to increase even more, people are putting their trust once again with
bitcoin and big investors are risking their money seeing this market progressive again.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 06:13:21 AM
I am really planning to split my bitcoin earning  into two. One part is I'm  going to use, for everyday expenses I might need like its supposed to be. But on the other hand, the other part of my bitcoin earning is that I'm going to save it, no need to invest in other investments or altcoins, just plain btc so that I may also benefit from it in the future.
It's good, at least your are not risking everything, bitcoin is a good investment but a risky one so only invest what you can afford to lose.
In any kind of investment even we are too confident, we still need to ensure that we minimize the risk and always prioritize our needs and do not
compromise the money for that purpose.
430  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [SUGAL] May kumikita ba talaga basta tama ang diskarte mo? on: September 28, 2017, 05:16:50 AM
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 27, 2017, 07:24:38 AM
I am positive that both these methods of earning are quite good. But I know that not everybody can have interaction in trade or choose the right way of investing. For that reason, it is greatest to commit component of the resources, and the 2nd component to enter the exchange for bidding
These two methods are very good for making a lot of money. Trading is not easy so we can’t say that everyone can make money from this. Trading requires a lot of knowledge and experience. Investing is very much available for everyone and I think many people are getting rich with bitcoins.
Yep, trading must have the knowledge and full of research, while the investment you don't must have a lot of knowledge, maybe buy a coin that you believe has a future and it's a great project, then hold it for the long term.

Actually you also need to be knowledgeable in investing because there is always a risk in investing, trading requires you to monitor
prices and news so you could do the right timing but with investing it will make you more aggressive when you are confident that chances of success
is big because you fully understand the investment and it convince you.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BBT] BitBoost - The Block - Decentralized Ecommerce on Ethereum Blockchain on: September 20, 2017, 11:08:57 AM
I learnt that tokens cannot be purchased in USD, only in BTC and ETH. However, if investors can purchase tokens in fiat,  I believe it will go a long way to boost ico success on the amount raised
It's easy to buy bitcoin or ether from fiat and just invest in this ICO.
So far I can see it has collected more than 1,000 eth which is good for a pre-ico, I hope more to come
so it will be more successful.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 12, 2017, 06:42:31 AM
My predictions for btc that it would be so very valuable in the future, people will look at you with so much respect because you own them.
That is all our prediction because when we invest we aim to make profit and that would only be possible if the price will rise in the future.
We hold for a reason and we are risking our money to make money here, we have to believe it will happen and don't forget to support bitcoin.

I hope you will launched the presale at the right timing, that is a very crucial stage so we will wait.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 28, 2017, 11:24:45 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
I think there is no job here in cryptocurrency that have steady income. Like in trading and in gambling. You can't predict if you will lose your money or you will you gain profit from it.
Some maybe referring to signature campaign, they think it's a job because they are satisfied with the income.
With their focus on small things they tend to forget that trading does give a better income but not a steady one, at least we can make
big income if we are lucky.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BBT] BitBoost - The Block - Decentralized Ecommerce on Ethereum Blockchain on: August 28, 2017, 11:14:41 AM
the strategy used, starting long before the ico with the announcement thread, is bringing the expected results: more and more people are learning about this project. the key will be to see what will be harvested the first days of the ico.

Valid point you make, as first days of this pre-sale can be used as a measure of response to how the general react to this lovely project
That's right, the presale do measure but not fully because normally in pre-sale the supply that is for sale is limited
and big discounts are given.
438  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ANN] bitJob: Decentralized Student Marketplace for Online Jobs | Crowdsale Soon on: August 23, 2017, 06:42:24 AM

439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BBT] BitBoost - The Block - Decentralized Ecommerce on Ethereum Blockchain on: August 17, 2017, 05:53:40 AM
I am also excited to see the pre sale start, it would be great to participate in this project.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs and limits? list ATMs on your country on: August 14, 2017, 06:20:36 AM
Do you have ATMs of Bitcoin on your Country? if so, how many, where and what are the limits of withdraw/cashout?
I know we have one before in our country but it's not really popular, I have a local exchange where I cash out
every time I need my money and I can do it directly to any ATM machine, I guess that is already better and help us to cash out with
convenience.
