422  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User making accounts for fake vouches on: October 06, 2015, 08:35:58 PM
That's not a really valid reason to call him out for doing that without any substantial proof linking them together. Plenty of people create an account here just to vouch for a guy they bought something from.
423  Other / Meta / Re: How untrusted trust points works ? on: October 06, 2015, 08:09:15 PM
I don't know, I tried Mrbrt way and it is working for me, you see my +ve trust ?

Bro. If it were that easy to "force" someone onto DT, then scammers would have exploited the hell out of that long ago. The person who sent the feedback to you will only get on DT (level 2) if a level 1 DT member adds him into his trust list. Nothing you can do will force that to happen.

And if you didn't realize what the answer to your question was from what I said... no, I can't see it by default.
424  Other / Meta / Re: Just for reference, another name change granted it seems on: October 06, 2015, 08:05:20 PM
419 is a scam reference.

For anyone else who was confused on what 419 was, here's the background on it.

Does that warrant a name change to my business name, should I want to do so?

Name changes don't rely too much on your reputation/contributions. I believe it relies more on the reason that you want to change the username.
425  Economy / Services / Re: FREE top level domain .xyz on: October 06, 2015, 07:59:20 PM
Everyone should be aware that Hostinger's free web hosting is absolute trash. They have hundreds of thousands of clients hogging their servers and they haven't upgraded them in a while.
426  Other / Meta / Re: Too many "how to earn bitcoin" threads in newbie sector on: October 06, 2015, 07:56:58 PM
I see the point in your suggestion, but this won't necessarily stop the newbies from creating those "how do I earn bitcoin?" threads over and over again.

A little bit of guidance should be good. I may add that the bitcoin.org site should also give some advices how to earn bitcoin, because that is the main site.

Does PayPal give advice on how to earn PayPal funds? No. Bitcoin is just a currency and there's no real reason that bitcoin.org should baby you into your first bitcoin.

428  Other / New forum software / Re: I Suggest in Forum Chat Box and Simple Games Section on: October 06, 2015, 04:25:23 PM
Chatbox will always be abused, no matter what. I personally detest them especially for a huge forum like this because you would never be able to have a normal conversation because of the sheer amount of users there would be online.

For the games, there are plenty of different websites you can use instead of increasing server load.

430  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: What are the signs a HYIP site is about to to disappear? on: October 05, 2015, 08:44:40 PM
There are way more stable ways to make money.
What do you recommend?

Buying bitcoin is probably the best, safest investment nowadays. You could also start trading altcoins, although that takes a bit more knowledge and skill, as well as some luck.
431  Economy / Lending / Re: Loans For The Peoples - MrPeoples BTC Loan Shop on: October 05, 2015, 08:43:03 PM
I'm also looking for a "go to guy or gal" to use for an escrow service.

I can recommend SebastianJu, master-P, monbux, and Mitchell. They've had some good reviews about them.
432  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] My own Steam account (500+ games, worth 5k$) on: October 05, 2015, 08:09:27 PM
Everyone should keep in mind that steam accounts are recoverable in several ways.

Most common one is through email but you can also reclaim an account by the number of your credit card or even CD activation keys from physical game copies. I've personally bought steam accounts before but I would advise against putting a lot of money into a purchase simply because steam accounts are not made to be repossessed by other individuals.

Steam support is shit . They dont even answer after 6 months .so i dont think any seller will get through that trouble after selling the account

Even though they are bad, they will be respond within a couple of days at least. The seller will easily be able to get the account back to him within a couple of weeks, maximum.

Anyways, just a heads up. GLWS.

How much for new one? I would prefer cracked one because of lower price Cheesy

Just FYI to BlackBaron, he's looking for a Premium account (I'm pretty sure), not a free one that you can create easily. Roll Eyes
434  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are these kinds of ratings allowed? on: October 05, 2015, 08:04:29 PM
But he refuses to give his own ALTS his red feedbacks
Wayayo and Escrowboy
Why do you think that Wayayo and Escowboy are his alts?

I have a fairly good idea as to who shield is and I do not believe that he is either of those people.

From the looks of it shield is attempting to warn others of potential scams, although as of now I would not recommend viewing his feedback by default

uhh, because of this? link

Also he stated to me in my PM his alts and he gave me the red trust because I gave his alt the red one.(he did it first)  Undecided

That has nothing on the thread that even states that he's an alt of them. It states that Escrowboy and Wayayo are alts, not Shield. Roll Eyes
435  Other / Meta / Re: Someone from DefaultTrust just killed my pot. Sr. Member account for no reason! on: October 05, 2015, 07:44:33 PM
I think a better question is why is someone who has zero trade history (and thus no reputation to maintain) allowed to be on Default Trust?

Having this person on their trust list is a clear example of using shills with the trust system, however in this case the rating are going to show up by default to everyone.

Not exactly. cryptodevil has had an active presence on the forum for scam busting and apparently had trustable behavior, so someone on depth 1 added him to their trust list.

IMHO, I think that the trust rating was unfounded; the possibility that the OP was just a supporter of CloudMining.website is pretty plausible.
436  Economy / Lending / Re: [URGENT] NEED $10 BTC LOAN - STEAM 60 EUR CODE AS A COLLATERAL on: October 05, 2015, 07:38:17 PM
No, that won't work. There is no way to make sure that any codes that are redeemable are in fact legit except for actually using them, which will destroy the point in the whole idea of being collateral.

- Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)
437  Economy / Lending / Re: Newbie needs loan [but I have collateral] on: October 05, 2015, 04:43:47 PM
Just FYI quickseller has been caught in escrowing for his alts, so it is probably best not to use him for escrow. And it has been pointed out by many members that Bipolarbob is QS's escrow , so wouldn't suggest him as well. I would recommend master-p though.
P.S: If you don't believe me about QS have a look at his ratings

I feel like this is a troll loan.

However, if it's not, @OP I would gladly take 110-120% LTC collateral for the loan if you would like to get the loan.
438  Other / Archival / Re: No collateral, micro loan for 10 days...... on: October 05, 2015, 04:42:09 PM
Someone has hacked my account, its my account I would claim it back with admin discussion.

Please dont loan until issue is solved.

I can confirm the account was sold on the 04/09/15. After that it was sold again, i cant proof that but i know it was first bought from a person who buys/sells account a lot.

So basically, the account has a history that makes it very possible that it was hacked and then sold. Also, did they use escrow for the trade (so that we can ask the escrow)? Can I ask how you know about the trade?
439  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: October 05, 2015, 12:07:04 AM
Dear MinerFarm users,

We identified that 5384 accounts are created by bots to abuse the system. We will ban all those accounts. After this operation, there will be 45 Th/s decrease in total hash power. If you think that your account is banned by mistake, please contact support@minerfarm.com

After that process there will be 45 Th/s decrease on total hash power, this is normal.

We will increase the security systems to detect and prevent abusers.

Regards

Wow thats alot of bot accounts. I mean 45 ths thats 4500 free 10ghs accounts. I mean what would be the point of creating so many accounts. You would still only receive pennies per day from all those accounts.

Hey, there are quite a few people in this world who scam for pennies, so it's not surprising that there are people who create bot accounts that get a couple of pennies per account. Smiley

Probably, next step will be to find ways to get reputation so people can trust it.

As long as you add in that privacy policy, I'm sure the community would trust your website a bit simply because they know that they would be able to take action against you if you broke the policy as it was, well, a policy you made.
