421  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-10] China Celebrates Killing Its Bitcoin Exchanges as CNY Volume Falls on: July 10, 2018, 05:53:15 PM
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has declared victory over Bitcoin, stating that the market leader’s trading in its national currency has fallen to less than 1 percent of total global volume.

"Under the banner of anti-money laundering and scam-busting efforts" are the silliest reasons that can be stated...Fake volumes could be fixed easily along with the other reasons by imposing regulations. China lost its leadership and lost a huge amount of revenue/taxes...too bad..

Belgium vs France is a good match too though, full of good players on both teams and i think that match will have many goals for sure.

I think it will be one of the best matches actually and i assume we will see both teams scoring in the first and second half, i don't think we will see extra time, one of the team will end it at the last minutes.
France has a better chance but I prefer to see Belgium having this world cup, they did wonderful games.

I don't know what's up with Croatia but after that flashy thrashing of Argentina they are playing with great difficulties vs mediocre teams and now they have played 240 minutes plus penalties in the knockout stage. I think the Croatians will be tired for the semi-final. England have the perfect chance to play at the final after such a long absence.

Well Russia showed a great performance comparing to its "ordinary" players and they deserved to stay but unfortunately penalty kick has spoken.
England gonna win vs Croatie 70%-30% but the best game will be France vs Belgium, France has a little bit better chance 55%-45% but Belgium could make a good surprise, prefer to see Belgium vs England in the final game.

Just want to ask why is posting the wallet address on thread is being forbidden?

Why you said that? If you aren't posting it off-topic or if you put your public address in a signature campaign topic or a bounty topic then it isn't forbidden, at least as far as I am aware of!
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 07, 2018, 07:10:00 PM
Watching the Russia vs Croatia match right now. Surprised to see Russia attacking from the start. I thought that they would rather play defensively, like they did against Spain. Looks like we'll be having a result by the end of 90 minutes.

Russia vs Croatie 1-1, wouldn't expect Russian will score first but we saw many surprises here that everything could be seen.
One of those team have to score at least another 2 goals to kill the game otherwise they will go to extra-time or penalty kicks.
May the best win so we can see a good game vs England)
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 06, 2018, 04:27:25 PM
Now if Belgium somehow throw Brazil out of the competition we are going to get an entirely European final which would be pretty awesome haha  Grin Belgium you can do it!

It is gonna be a hard game between Belgium attack and Brazil defence. It is hard to predict but Belgium defence will make the difference, if you know what I mean  Tongue

Yeah it happened to me several times and wondered if i reported that post or not, the solution was to look on my history for the name of the user and the topic.
Don't know if it will be accepted by theymos since it isn't an essential feature but it is a good one essentially for big snitches Tongue

However, i dislike the fact that the referee has to move to verify himself every fault, this is killing the game, normally the dedicated referee should see the video and take the decision everytime it is required (or not).
The referee on the pitch is the only one will full power and authority to impose sanctions, it'll be odd to give that power to the assistant refs (VAR) since they can only advise the ref to review: something he couldn't see (a clear pen or an aggresion, for example) or a mistake he made in the original call.

Yeah I know and it is unfortunate...
FIFA needs to modify this presidential system into a parliamentarian one (or a roman one maybe ?) Tongue
A little bit serious, the assistant referee should have more power since he can see unbiased images and can verify it many time... The actual system is a pure failure and killing the game...
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 05, 2018, 01:07:38 PM
refereeing decisions that can be changed after seeing the video shows on the edge of the field, in my opinion, isn't good enough.

This video assistance isn't a bad idea and it's essential to make the game fair, to avoid vampire bites and penalties when children falling down.
However, i dislike the fact that the referee has to move to verify himself every fault, this is killing the game, normally the dedicated referee should see the video and take the decision everytime it is required (or not).

Damn this has been the most thrilling world cup we get to see another penalty shootout. Columbia played extremely good even in penalty shootout but unfortunately they missed their last shot and England didn't which got them eliminated.

I couldn't believe Sweden defeated Switzerland, i didn't really match the whole match but that was surely an upset

You better grab the match before penalty kick or cry your bad luck after it! Too bad for Colombia, Spain and Danemark.
England seems lucky in this world cup and the match vs Sweden shouldn't be hard unless they will make stupid mistakes!

Proving what? the team was an absolute disaster against Japan, especially in the defense (nothing new, they had a shaky defence in the group stages), Kompany was so bad in that game. IMO The only good thing about Belgium was the last counterattack, nothing more. I think Neymar & co are going have a field day against Belgium in the QF.

Totally agree, Belgium is an excellent team and could get this world cup easily if it has a good defence!
Belgium attack = 9/10
Belgium midfield = 6.5/10
Belgium defence = error, this word doesn't exist!

Two early goal from Japan and you are stating their defence are that bad?
They are atleast decent for me but it is good that they were conceded two goals from their match against Japan, that just means the coach should be able to notice something is wrong with his strategy. They wont repeat the same mistake in their next game again
It isn't just because of their last game, if you've been watching Belgium in this WC then you'll know their defence isn't as solid as, let's say, Brazil or Uruguay. Statistics say Belgium have conceded 5 goals in their last 5 games...that's a lot, and they haven't faced a team the like of Brazil with Neymar, Coutinho, Willian, G.Jesus, Firmino, these guys could exploit Belgium's biggest weakness IMO. So, like @InvoKing, Belgium have an amazing attack, good midfield, sloppy defence.

Nice analysis @tomahawk9  Wink
@cazkooo, i do not have special thing to add to tomahawk9's nice response. Effectively, i am not talking about the last game only but the performance of the Belgium team as a whole in this world cup, i am very disappointed about their defence and the coach's choice...
Missing a relatively easy world cup for them because of a weak defence is so crappy!

439  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-28]Bithumb Has Recovered Nearly Half of Funds Stolen in Last Week’sHack on: July 02, 2018, 07:37:28 PM
This is a good news for the Bithumb users and for the whole cryptocurrencies communities and the market.
The cooperation between different exchanges made the partial recover of the funds possible. We need for real a crypto-interpol!

Exchanges freezing accounts is not good. It again reminds me of the legacy financial system, where banks are just waiting for the government to issue orders and readily freeze their customer accounts.
Next time, hackers will use mixers and decentralized exchanges when dealing with hacked funds.

It is unethical to let a hacker trade in your exchange with a hacked money. The exchanges needs to freeze it. If the hacker used a mixer then it will be very hard to spot it, however, this exchange will be stopped and its owner will be brought to courts for sure if he is from USA or European country.
