421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: February 28, 2019, 08:21:40 PM
There is currently not better way how to raise enough money to finance the project.
ICO concept is the most easiest way how to get money without any regulations, restrictions and so on.
You might be right and yes many blockchain ventures who seriously intend to introduce their own coin in the market does offer incentives to the initial investors but people are fed up now. So many frauds on the name of ICO. Weak projects and so on. There are alternatives to make money. Day trade could also help you make it. Besides, investment in stocks and shares by the companies having zero default risk is more appreciated.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin related cartoon on: February 28, 2019, 07:17:32 PM
This is quite a very good project and very thoughtful of you, I have a friend that loves watching cartoon and I have tried explaining everything about bitcoin to him and doesn’t seems to understand a bit, probably with the help your animation which I will introduce to him when done, I am sure he will pick interest.

Please do one on trading too so that he can stop depending on my little profit from my day trading and can trade his own too. I use YouTube virtually every day for studies and I don’t think a day goes by without me learning one or 2 things in YouTube and also for fun.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank power on bitcoin? on: February 28, 2019, 06:59:29 PM
During the crisis too, my country also plunged into deep recession and bitcoin became more sensible alternative.
My own country central bank saw this as a threat and tried everything possible to discourage people from using Bitcoin making them see it as a scam and even tried as much as possible to make it an offence but it was a good thing that it’s a decentralized digital currency, though it was finally accepted by them I believe, as they see that it cannot be controlled and which they have little or no activities talk less of having the ability to reduce the effect of 2008 financial crisis with BTC.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the beginning of the arrival of a bull run? on: February 28, 2019, 06:06:49 PM
The bitcoin market went from higher highs in the past, to lower lows in recent times. The price of the coin is seen to have been within the 3k range. It has been going back and forth in recent times, which even did climb 4k. I think a bull run will begin when it eventually gets pass 5k.
Well, this is how the market works. Some times high some times low. Bitcoin was around $149 back in 2013. It surged to $2k and so on until it was able to stop at the peak in 2017. So, what I want to say is that Bull Run will keep on coming and going with the passage of time but what maters the most is the investment decisions that have been very instrumental so far for all those who believe in the progress of the cryptocurrency.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: February 28, 2019, 04:51:49 PM
This is a very decent amount for investment and I recommend to distribute in several directions, for a long-term period about 30%, for trading 10%, for Ico 20%, and the rest to crypto-currency funds!
Yes, the amount could be apportioned and allocated for investment in many solid assets that can promise return. I think that the market is down now so you should put in some money in Bitcoin now. We might hit $4k soon and so on and in the near future, you might be able to cash the profits of your investment keeping the investment in the same level or even expanding it
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Neblio (NEBL) a good investment in your opinion? on: February 28, 2019, 12:34:57 PM
Is  Neblio (NEBL) a good investment in your opinion and does it have a strong future if the overall market is healthier next year.
I studied the Neblio blockchain and I see that they actually have a good ground behind their project.
According to their project, it was created to simplify the complexity of most blockchain currently which is something I have always been looking for.

I always tell developers not to just focus on starting a project but to check on the simplicity and user-friendliness of the project before embarking on it which neblio has done. I believe the price of the coin will increase over time.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One year celebration of my prediction!!! on: February 27, 2019, 01:06:14 PM
Each of us believes in the real fate of Bitcoin in the future, when it can be used as a means of payment. Perhaps Bitcoin will not be used for daily but waiting for a person, but it is quite suitable for financial transactions in big business. But also predicts the cost of satoshi about 1 cent.
Just like I have always been vigilant mate, though as a short term trader, I gain from both virtually every day, this is one of the reason why short term trading is good.

People that usually have phobia and not vigilant are those just going into crypto market without purpose or knowing what they are going there to do thinking crypto market is a gambling market, as far as you are vigilant and you know what to do, I don’t think anyone will lose no matter how long it may take.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PLease be really be CAREFULL when throwing money in ICOs on: February 27, 2019, 08:41:43 AM
People should by now have a proper understanding of pump and dump, a good trader should not be a victim of these if true, though it’s good to take advantage of these action as a good trader but for the upcoming ones, its necessary to be careful because it could backfire a big time, this happened to one of my coins when I didn’t trade with care, my 450usd later turned to be 30 usd, so now what I do in trading is to take little profit I get on it when it’s being pumped and buy when dumped.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk calls crypto “quite energy intensive” on: February 27, 2019, 07:51:48 AM
He is very right, after all, he quite acknowledged the fact that bitcoin is a brilliant structure but the point he made which is not far from truth is that bitcoin is energy consuming as bitcoin gets more popular and more investor, mining becomes harder and requires sophisticated machines to mine it and these mining engine quite consumes energy but the energy consumption cannot be compare to the benefit of the bitcoin to the economy monetarily.

Moreover, a miner pays for the energy, not as if the energy used is free, it is left for the energy producing company to step up if it’s affecting them which it is not.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Predicts The Exact Date Of Bitcoin Reaching $1,000,000 on: February 27, 2019, 07:09:18 AM
He not only made a price prediction but also declared date of Dec 31, 2020.

Sure seems legit. His prediction date is pretty much the deadline of his dick's lifespan. We honestly should stop giving publicity to these kinds of pointless and baseless predictions.

https://dickline.info/
I wouldn’t see it as a pointless or baseless. You know I try to see positivity in everything no matter how negative it looks, it might just be his little way of making the bitcoin value appreciate since most people believe in John MacAfeeeccentric crypto currency guru and former cyber security entrepreneur and well known for his price prediction, I also personally believe bitcoin value will sky rocket very soon too. So, let’s not see it as pointless as it makes a lot of potential traders and beneficiary of this coin go into Panic Selling.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 26, 2019, 08:52:55 PM
it is true that you can not rely on the altcoins but the reason for that is because they are mostly scams and poorly projects that were made for monetary reasons (meaning the developer wanted to become rich overnight either through premining or running an ICO).
but we are talking about bitcoin here and it is the most and only reliable currency out there. it is true that its price is volatile but if you look at the bigger picture you can see the price is pretty reliable. you can clearly see that in the past 3 years (long term outlook instead of short term) price has solidly risen from $800 to $3000+ and that shows growth and the strength of that growth.
Yeah, bitcoin is still the most reliable crypto currency out there in which other altcoins even depends on and the bitcoin fluctuating is because of the coin still being introduce and gradually being accepted, when bitcoin becomes widely accepted, it will become stable like the FIAT and the price less volatile.

Once become becomes widely accepted and stable, most of these altcoin will definitely be off market, thereby eliminating any project that scam people inform of altcoin, infact I see most altcoins as scams and will not stand the test of time other than bitcoin.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH cross $200 this week? on: February 25, 2019, 07:57:59 PM
Hello everyone as we are witnessing a spike in the value of Ethereum which was considered as most stable crypto same-time last year but circumstances changed drastically as ETH drop down to the lowest which one could ever imagine but off late we have see rise in it's value so will this be a game changer or one more burst of bubble ?
A lot of crypto currencies analysis including me believes that ETH is prepping for serious moves this week though I am not sure of it testing 200 usd but I believe it might be heading toward 180 USD which might eventually breakout from there. It’s not only Eth that I am expecting to breakout too; I am expecting other flagship crypto currencies to breakout too.

An adviser to TokenBacon and Blackwavein person of Josh Rager recently took to twitter to convey some analysis regarding bitcoin charts though his predictions was not that explicit.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen Now for ETH? on: February 25, 2019, 01:28:05 PM
Eth is expected to rise again after the hard fork eth hardfork is important update eth network will have and soon eth is expected to touch previous all-time high prices
After testing ~0.038 BTC, ethereum was falling along with bitcoins. The fall in the value of ETH has triggered by bitcoins now and we have on the other hand observed some rise as well. And by the way this coin was very much quick and was believed to surpass Bitcoin in future but that never happened because of the falling prices. The purpose of sharing this information is that it has gotten great potential and will rise high again with the passage of time.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market cap is the only thing what we should care about. on: February 25, 2019, 12:58:43 PM
You are insane! We never should prioritize market cap when choosing a project to invest. We must prioritize the projects core, developments, use case, team members and so on. Also, how realistic is the roadmap should be taken care of. Then we may check for the marketcap, value, circulation & max supply etc.
Market cap is not everything. Demand for a coin or supply of the coins should also be taken into consideration. The higher the demand, the higher would the price go up according to the law of demand. In addition, I believe that in the crypto market, you go with the trends along with the market cap and other factors and that coin normally is the best coin having these entire qualities being positive.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more new task or projects in bountyhunters.io on: February 23, 2019, 06:26:15 PM
I always log in to bountyhunters.io to check for a new task but unfortunately, there is no more task and it seems ICO and other bounty campaign stopped or would not want to hire bountyhunters.io for their project, because of this issue

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5067062.0

Is this the end for bountyhunters.io?
You don't need to go that far to get bounty campaign to participate in when there are lots of bounty campaigns in the bounty campaign part of the forum. I don't agree with you that ICOs are not carrying out bounties, there are even more bounties springing out every day than it was before. Just go to the announcement section of altcoins and see what i am talking about.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: February 23, 2019, 04:33:24 PM
Intraday vs HODL

In the current market situation which one best and what do u guys prefer
As an professional trader, I will prefer to go for intraday trade than holding my coin because i can make even more money doing this. For example, is i carry out an intraday trade with 1 btc, i can make as high as 1.1 btc just in one day which have given me even more bitcoin value than just hodling bitcoin and waiting for the day we are going to get a bull run. I didn't say hodling is bad, but i mean a professional trader won't like the HODL.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your key reasons of choosing a particular exchange for trading? on: February 23, 2019, 01:54:59 PM
1. What are your personal the must-haves for an exchange to be of any interest to you?

2. Is low volume and liquidity a big "no go" to you? Or do you approach such exchanges as potential interest for market making or arbitrage (small exchanges are responding to volatility slower and this may give some good arbitrage opportunities), etc.

ps: we are launching a new crypto-to-FIAT exchange (starting with /EUR pairs) and would love to get tips from the crypto community on their needs in order to built durable exchange.
I make use of binance and also kucoin  for my trading because I trust in their security and I also love their platform because it's very user friendly and you don't need to spend lots of time there even as a newbie to learn how to make use of the exchange, unlike some exchange that is so complicated to the extent that even an expert trader might need to read the guide to make use of the exchange.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do when the market goes down? This is my advice on: February 21, 2019, 09:17:08 PM
It is very easy, you can take advantage of the dump and also make lots of profit. For example, you have 1 Btc which is worth $4000 and you saw that Bitcoin is about to dump, just swap your Bitcoin for USDT, wait for the dump, and when you think it has gotten to the pick, you can now swap your $4000 to Bitcoin which will give you about 1.3 Btc instead of 1 Btc which you had initially.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull market is almost here on: February 21, 2019, 08:47:49 PM
I think that the long wait is about to over. I also have good expectation from bitcoin and other crypto market to recover soon. I hope that people will surely give good support to the market and the market will therefore continue to increase for a long time.
I also agree with you that those people who have some coins they should continue to hold it and wait for some more time. Hopefully they will get a very good return after some time.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: February 21, 2019, 08:37:58 PM
Although still there is not any special different in the market as compare to 2018, but its very early to any anything. We are just in 2nd month of 2019, I hope that after June it is expected that the  bitcoin price and even all the crypto market will start recovering, I hope that not only bitcoin but some other potentially good altcoins will also recover their previous position.
It is good to wait for that time.
