i was actually having a debate about this yesterday with a friend of mine that the whales are doing their purchases over the counter for many reasons such as avoiding taxes and leaving a trace behind so that they can increase their privacy and also because they want to keep the price low. and now my theories have a proof too.

my biggest problem is why don't people learn from the history already? is it because last year there was a lot of adoption that a lot of newbies came in that they are not yet familiar with the history?

i think that may be it. i wonder what is going to happen next year when all of those who are selling nowadays see the big rally to the moon.

that is what i have been doing for years.
and that is what any investment expert would tell you to do. to buy when everyone else is selling and there is blood on the streets and that is  exactly what has been happening these days.

pump and dump altcoins never die just because their price drops below some arbitrary number. and we all know that ETH has been the biggest pump and dump altcoin of all times which means even if it drops down to $1 they will start pumping it again at some point.

the "bye bye" will occur after a couple of these pump and dumps where people truly give up on ETH and also when they see all the problems that it has piled on over the years!

at this point i say not only $50 is possible but there is a risk of price crashing a lot harder than that because of the panic that currently resides in the market.

if you check around you can see that there still are a lot of bag holders who are currently so desperate to get anything out of their bags. this means with a small recovery from the current price (~$80) we can see a big dump start where they cash out and as the  drop starts we may see price shoot past $50 and go to $10

as a rule of thumb any altcoin that has the name "bitcoin" in it like "bitcoin cash", "bitcoin satoshi vision", "bitcoin gold",... are considered shitcoins because it simply shows that the people who created these coins had no confidence in their own creation so they had to use the name "bitcoin" to gain some popularity because of bitcoin's popularity.

in case of BSV it is pure shitcoin because it has nothing else to offer! it is a copy of copy of bitcoin since they forked BCH and it is only created for pump and dumping purposes and for people behind it to make money from the companies they own.

the only positive effect that a dump of ETH has is that it opens the eyes of many of the newcomers to the realities of altcoin market. unfortunately last year brought a lot of them in this market and majority of them believed that an unlimited supply altcoin can continue its rise!!! but the reality is that a coin that has no usage apart from being a ICO token platform and has a huge supply which doesn't have any cap can not do that for long.

experts have been warning about Ethereum for a long time but people always choose to believe in the hype and continue bag holding something that is failing.
ETH has always been a pump and dump altcoin that only gained traction because of its huge supply (which created huge market cap and a high fake rank for it) and the huge hype coming from ICOs (which pumped it more and are also the reason for its death these days).
and this is the main reason for the sharp drop to 2 digits which won't stop there either.

Craig Scammer is currently spending a lot of money to keep his creation alive and scam people with it. and this is the only opportunity that he can ever get. in this initial stage if he can pump his shitcoin up and keep the price up then it can have a small chance of survival in the longer run otherwise if they don't spend millions today to keep it up then it will simply get dumped hard and crash to $10 and then die within 6 months.

it is not possible to say but my guess is that the manipulators are trying to get ready for the new year by ending this year with a very low price at which they are going to buy a huge amount of bitcoin so that they can make a huge profit when bitcoin shoots up to the moon next year.
it is always more profitable to buy bitcoin at a lower price than at $6k when it reaches $100k

nothing is wrong with the market. it is just people who are panicking right now because of the large amount of FUD that has been around in addition to the whales who keep on dumping big chunks of bitcoin on exchanges to artificially pull bitcoin price lower than this.

that is all true ONLY IF the thing you are buying or holding already has a good potential of rising. but if it doesn't and if you are fooling yourself into believing it has potential of getting pumped then you will end up wasting a lot of time and money on it.
for instance there are currently a lot of newbies who are bag holding a lot of ICO tokens that are continuing to die!

a better example is those people who have been accumulating bitcoin at $200 to $250 range and then price fell down to $150. none of them really lose any money unless they fell for the idiotic FUD and panic sold their precious bitcoins.

currently we are in the same situation. people who have been accumulating in $6000-$7000 range have not really lost any money unless they fell for the FUD and panic sold. and you will soon see their profit when the whales stop manipulating.

any hyped up thing has a lifespan in this market which will run out soon enough. for ICOs it was mostly a year and then they died. for security tokens it will also be the same but the difference is that they made the mistake of starting the hype now that the altcoin market is in dumping mode so there is a good chance that it is not even going to pick up the hype and die in its infancy.

unfortunately "specialists" which are basically "investment advisors" aren't out there to help you make money. they are there to earn money by providing some information to you which is mostly to encourage you to give them your money so that they can invest it for you!

in crypto space things are even worse since "specialists" are basically pump and dumpers who have no idea about the market. they only know how to scam people out of their money.

in this market if you want to make profit and be successful, you have to start small and start on your own. study the market and do some trial run to see if you are capable of learning it and making money. then after some time increase the amount of investment.

whatever you do, do NOT start from mining. because mining will also require you to have some knowledge of different altcoins and their markets AND trading. so if you jump in with mining without having that prior knowledge you won't be as successful as if you had that prior knowledge.

so my suggestion is that you start small and start by trading some altcoins. learn how the market works and how you can make profit while becoming more familiar with the pump and dump concept. then if you decided mining is more profitable you can add that as a secondary income.

you did fine. and that is what everyone else should also do.
in my experience in this market you should always find a strategy that works for you instead of looking at what other people are  doing. and then adjust that strategy as much as you can until you find the best solution and make the most amount of profit.
a strategy that works for one person may not work for the other. for example i prefer only trading coins that have an ongoing pump instead of bag holding them and hoping for the pump to come.

unfortunately for them, newcomers rarely listen to these things. they prefer believing in the FUD. i have seen it many times in the past. each time we have a dip they run away scared because the media is filled with spamming FUD.
and the worst part of it has always been the fact that they do come back but they come back late and FOMO buy which causes a big price surge that has never been a good thing.

first of all that only works for experienced day traders in altcoin market not for everyone. so you shouldn't really make this kind of general suggestion anymore.

secondly SV had its pumping moment in the sun a while back and it no longer capable of making any more moves for the time being. they may attempt pumping it one more time but i don't think it can happen that easily or that soon.

the only thing that your constant spam on bitcointalk on hourly basis is making me think is if you believed in 10% of the things you are posting here then why in the world are you even on this "bitcoin" forum wasting your time?
