421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 27, 2017, 06:49:03 PM
Lack of stamina, experienced in boxing, disadvantage, etc. McGregor knew all of that but still kudos to McGregor for being brave and fight Floyd eventhough he ain't a boxer.

Now, the question is, can Mayweather do what Conor did. If Conor challenge him to fight in octagon, will Floyd accept it? Nearly impossible for me.
Totally impossible. It is almost impossible for MMA or kick boxer to fight against boxer under boxing rules, it is different sport, but it is really impossible for boxing champion to fight under even K1 rules, not to talks about fighting under MMA rules.
All the respect to McGregor for his performance, I knew that he has no chance to defeat Mayweather, but he did his best. From the other side, damn, I would fight for 70 milion dollars with who ever it takes.

Here are the possible quarter-finals to Us Open:

Nadal vs Goffin/Dimitrov
Federer vs Thiem

Cilic vs A.Zverev
Tsonga vs Murray

If Federer wins the tournament will return to 100% first place in the ranking Atp!

Good to know Federer is still among the quarter finalists in this years U.S Open.

But I think that Nadal will be the winner this year since he is good on this surface.

Revenge for the Australian Open I am foreseeing this year. Wink

The US Open hasn't started yet and this was just a possible quarter final match up. The US Open starts this Monday and it very well could end up being a Federer/Nadal final which would be a great way to end the Grand Slam year with these two players fighting it out in another Grand Slam final. They started the year in a Grand Slam final and now we will see if they end the year in the US Grand Slam final.
It really would be nice to see one more epic battle between those two great players in the finale of US Open. As you said they started Slam season like that, it would be great to end it like that too. From the other side, I wouldn't be surprised to see new face as Grand Slam winner. Murray is not 100% ready, Federer might has some injury problem(withdraw from Cincinnati), Nadal could get surprised by someone again,. We have Del Potro and Cilic left as GS title owners on this US Open. Delpo is also away from his best tennis form. From the other side, Cilic could profit here, he is this year Wimbledon finalist and knows how to win big tournament. And all those great young players, by my opinion, have equal chance to lift this trophy, I really couldn't decide for favorite between Zverev, Thiem, Dimitrov(not so young anymore), Kirgios..
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u agree that Bitcoin will go to 500,000$ in 2020 by john Macafee claim ? on: August 27, 2017, 12:10:22 AM
No way, 2020 is two and a half years away. I don't know what should happened so that bitcoin can raise in value so much. I have to agree, it is my opinion too, that we could easily see bitcoin price at 10 000$ in that time. 500 000 sounds to abstract, to beautiful for everyone that saves bitcoin and I know that it's just to good to be true.

Tonight I think that Fenerbahce, Athletic Bilbao, Braga and Marseille will win their matches. All four teams are much better and have more quality than their opponents, they all have active score and just need to have serious approach tonight. Quota on this four marches together is 2.3
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 23, 2017, 05:25:01 PM
Liverpool finally have the chances to qualify for Uefa Champions League after missing out this major tournament for so many years, I expect the stadium of Anfield to be fully packed with Liverpool supporter today, with the fans cheering hard for the home team, I expect Liverpool to beat Hoffenheim with home ground advantage, my bet will on Liverpool to win the match in full time.
Same here. They will not miss this chance, Anfield will be full, support will be amazing and Klop knows how to motivate his players. Everything is possible but I think that tonight Liverpool will win. If Hoffenheim opens and play on win(which is logical, they have no space for calculation) we might have a over 2.5 goals. Therefore my bet for tonight is combination of those two, win on Liverpool with three or more goals on match.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 23, 2017, 04:52:36 PM
While i certainly think that the trade worked out for both teams, Cleveland got the better hand here. Not only do they get a scorer whose offensive game is as potent as Kyrie's, but they also got a decent defender in Crowder.

However, Kyrie can now take Boston to the next level if he is take his offensive game up a notch . What do you guys think about Bostons offence now?

Quite good, the deal for both teams seems to be helpful and they are happy with the trade.

And for their offense, still we I can't have an insight about this thing until I watch the play of the new roster of Boston.

When it comes to defense, yes you said it Crowder is good at it.

I'm not sure though. It is really tempting if you're offered a player of kyrie's caliber but boston just came from a really good run last season with the core that they have now. I'm not sure how this trade is going to work out for them but definitely the cavs will benefit highly from this.
I just don't get what path the Boston Celtics want to take because they gave up the 1st pick and not drafting Markelle Fultz in what I thought including the fans of the Celtics that Isaiah Thomas was their long term Star Point Guard and now they are trading him away for Kyrie Irving along with Jae Crowder and a 1st Round pick from Brooklyn. I really hope they do know what path they are going because acquiring Gordon Hayward would be a waste for the team.

Damn. I never thought that Boston Celtics would give up Isiah Thomas after was he gave the team last year and I'm also thinking the he would be the face of Boston for years to come. Its gonna be a painful for Isiah to see Boston left him go. Anyways, it is what it is so he should move and look forward and playing with the greatest player of today's generation-Lebron James. I think its more of a win on the side of Cavaliers, and with this trade, it doesn't seems that they will miss the scoring that Kyrie could provide every night as we all know that IT is a good scorer as well. Plus IT is a very good guard as well. Interesting to see those team meet at the finals in the East and let's see emotions flaring up. LOL.
I guess they never really saw Isaiah Thomas to be there guy in the future. And the funny thing about this is they have up the 1st round draft pick of the Brooklyn Nets as well, in which we all know the Chicago Bulls is only asking for in the Jimmy Butler trade. I think they have offered a lot in exchange for a Point Guard who has the same skill set with what they had. A really bad trade for the Boston Celtics.

The thing is Kyrie is just 25. The kid is just entering his prime. It's pretty reasonable to build a franchise around him.
It looks like they didn't count on Thomas on long term, but as you say Kyrie is 25 years old and has at least 5 great seasons to play. To build a franchise around him is good thing, he is amazing player.
On the other side, Cleveland will be stronger team with those three players but I think that Thomas will be in same situation as Kyrie was. He is a scoring machine and playing with Lebron will suffocate him. Instead of scoring 30+ points per game he will have to settle on 10+ but will be closer to a championship title.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the Mars on: August 20, 2017, 06:21:31 PM
No they won't. We are very far away from the settling of the Mars. By then we will most likely have some new sort of paying method. Those things are happening in our history all the time, like on repeat, and will continue to happening. We had exchange of goods, coins for people, golden coins for royalty, paper money, money on credit cards... They are evolving into something new.
Mars would probably have Mars Coin  Smiley

Kyrgios v Nadal match lived up to its expectations but Nadal couldn't pull it off Sad He played bad and he admitted it after the match , this kind of performances won't be enough to win the US open Sad Hope he comes back stronger .
Exactly. I have point on that, Nadal is not super superior like he was in the past or like he was this year on clay surface. But this could be good for him, he will be more fresh and better prepared for US Open.
Grigor Dimitrov is first finalist of this year Cincinati Masters. If Kyrgios beat Ferrer in second semi-final match we will have two players fighting for first Masters title in their career. Ferrer has one but it was back in 2012(Paris indor Masters).
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC continue to raise by end of the month on: August 18, 2017, 05:46:06 PM
My opinion is that bitcoin price will stay on this range, between four and four and a half thousand dollars in next couple of months. It was fast growth after August the first but I think that we will see that same situation as we had couple of months ago, when price jumped from 1200$ to 2000+ or better said 2500+ and stayed there for some time.
430  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2013, I wished I was an early bird who bought BTC in 2009. In 2017,... on: August 18, 2017, 05:28:56 PM
Who wouldn't wish something like that. It should mean that you are economically situated now, so good for you. I am six, eight months in bitcoin world. I heard about bitcoin few years ago but wasn't interested for it. Off course, when I think now of missed opportunity I feel very sad but it's just the way it is.
Nowadays I have some amount on saving and hope for btc big growth.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: August 18, 2017, 05:02:26 PM
Bitcoin price is raising and have tendency to become very high. That should be the greatest interest for people to invest in it. Buying or earning bitcoin and saving(not spending it) could provide a great fortune to a keeper. I think that majority of people are looking for opportunity to earn cash but I know that there are those who would like to make transaction with no traces and bitcoin could provide that kind of security for them.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: $100K in 2021? on: August 17, 2017, 11:46:44 PM
There was lots of situations in my life when I have explore potential investment opportunities. I was excited about great stories but after a bit detailed search supported with live examples(people that have been there, done that...) I found out that the story is pretty exotic and is not as simple as that.
I think that there are lots of people in the world that could easily buy one bitcoin and wait for 2021. They would became richer for 96 000$ just like that and it is pretty exotic story for me.
However I do believe that price will rise much more but I think that we will have to wait longer than that. Therefore I always putt some amount on my saving wallet.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 17, 2017, 10:19:46 PM
FBI, CIA, they created bitcoin or they have control over it or have control to destroy it. I do believe in this kind of theories whenever I can find some logic in it. USA is the most powerful country and I do believe that they are creating our reality on global level. Bitcoin become very valuable and I am sure that they wouldn't just watch whole event like by standing observers. Exact story behind the cover, we can just speculate about. So I think that it's possible that they have the most or can make it worthless.

I just heard on TV an unofficial news that Roger Federer has withdraw from Cincinnati Masters. On yesterdays match commentator noticed that Rogers first service is much slower than usually and that it looks like he has some problem with the shoulder. Since US Open is very close, resting would be good decision.
Its official now , he withdrew from Cincinnati and therefore Nadal is the new no.1 . Who would have expected this ? I just hope he will be fit and fine by the time US open starts off . Lets go Nadal now for Cincinnati cup Smiley

Yes, Nadal (at least 7475 points) after 3 years ( 6 July 2014) will be the new No.1!
While Murray(7150 points) will be second with 5 points advantage over Federer(7145 points).
In that case Rafa Nadal is the world number 1 again, congrat’s to him his really a true warrior he knows how rise when he is down, Go! Nadal for Cincinnati open, hopefully for US open he will win his second grand slam this year, and he can prove his self that he is not only good in Clay surface but in hard court as will.
He has proved it before and yes he need to prove it once again now because this season he hasn't won any title on other surfaces apart from clay but we all know ( except a few ) that he is capable of winning on any given surface , good luck to him Smiley
Yup it's not a small matter that an under 5 ranking player come near to 1st rank within few months. He struggled a lot and put that much effort to reach this place. He really deserves 1st rank in tennis. And yes he should take some rest before going to play in US Open. Some unexpected surprises made him to not win a big tournament in this year, but I think in US open he will come back and win the title.

Congratulations to Rafa, he is great champion and he deserved this. Maybe he should take a break and skip Cincinnati maybe not but I wouldn't bet on him to win US Open. He might come across some highly motivated player again, it wouldn't be first time, besides the fact that he is first favorite of the tournament.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 16, 2017, 04:41:23 PM
EUROPE: Champions League - Qualification :
Basaksehir (Tur) vs Sevilla (Esp) , Sevilla is strong than Basaksehir and i think it will easy for them to win this game . i will bet for Sevilla to win .
Celtic (Sco) vs FC Astana (Kaz) , in home Celtic is strong and it's really impossible to se them lose against Astana . i will bet for Celtic to win or for a Draw.
Napoli (Ita) vs Nice (Fra) . it will be a great game to watch , i think that Napoli will be the winner . and i expect many goals in this game, i will bet for over 2.5 Goals.
Olimpiakos is playing against Rijeka(croatia). Greek team is regular contender of the CL. I don't know if Rijeka is strong enough to compete on CL level, in last round another club from that region lost duel against Olimpiakos. It was tied in Athens but was 1:3 in Belgrade. Quality of teams in that region is almost the same and I think that Olimpiakos will win tonight with pretty good odd on it, 1.75.

Roberto Firmino returns to Hoffenheim but this time he comes as an opponent. Firmino, an idol player in Hoffenheim this time came as an opposing striker. I want to see him score goals and see what he will do.
My prediction of the match will end in a 1-1 draw.
Hehe, mine is little different but would work 1-1 for me also. I placed bet on both teams to score. Liverpool did their part of the job,, now waiting for Hoffenheim to do theirs  Smiley
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever regretted not gambling? on: August 15, 2017, 04:53:28 PM
I hate when this happens. It's my problem, I am not fully committed. Sometimes I forget to check daily offer and see that match is already playing and I kinda knew what will happen. For example I also missed Barcelonas second match in quarter-finale of Champions League against PSG. Odds were pretty good and I was really angry but as I said, my mistake only.

439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going slowly to 40,000$ and more on: August 13, 2017, 10:18:24 PM
time to invest in bitcoin or ethereum before its too expensive
i believe with a small steps bitcoin will be 40,000$ it can take 1-2 years.
I also think that it will take more time than one or two years for bitcoin to grow that much. It's price will not going to rise in constant rhythm day by bay like last few days. I do think that investing in bitcon is good plan nowadays.
440  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: August 13, 2017, 09:23:29 PM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

Government always wins. Cryptocurrencies will be either banned or will be fully controlled by the government, they will not let anything to spoil their full people control project.
