421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lagarde devoted a third of her talkon financial tech to cryptocurrency on: October 03, 2017, 01:47:20 PM
This is something we are going to have to be well aware of as a community. In the past, we knew this day was coming, when the financial elites would be staring down their noses at BTC. That day is here, don't think they are going to take this lightly, as cryptos are a direct threat to their control over fiat.

It is a hearing disorder, go see a doctor and they will begin the process of helping you out. BTC doctors aside.
423  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BREAKING: biggest US government orchestrated shooting in history - 400 wounded on: October 02, 2017, 03:17:40 PM
We shall see... Need much more proof.
424  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump - the best US president so far on: October 02, 2017, 03:16:59 PM
Lots of things I see him doing wrong, but hey, at least he goes after the highly corrupt mainstream media. Its about time someone in power called them out for their BS.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A day in the life of a Bitcoin Trader on: October 02, 2017, 03:15:48 PM
Think of Bitcoin as essentially a VERY volatile stock and you will will understand what it means to be in this space. Yet, BTC is SOOOO much more.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start to trade bitcoin? on: October 02, 2017, 03:14:24 PM
Just be careful and only trade what you can afford to lose. At the end of the day, it is largely a form of gambling. Holding has proven to be the best bet, long term.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber & Lyft to accept Bitcoin on: October 02, 2017, 03:12:15 PM
I'm shocked that they already don't! I 100% agree, they should accept, its so easy its unreal and they are all in the "new" generation of innovation.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to direct wire transfer? on: October 02, 2017, 03:11:26 PM
Just send the BTC, then he can exchange for USD online, in his country. There are tons of services out there.
429  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 03:10:01 PM
To me, the biggest advantage that attracted me to BTC was the fake that it takes back the power of money back into the hands of citizens, it is a currency for the people, by the people. It cannot be manipulated the same as fiat money can.
430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 27, 2017, 05:46:41 PM
Like any investment, there are risks and potentials. People stating this simply don't understand what BTC is.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 05:46:01 PM
Dollar cost averaging, it is the only way to go. Enjoy the highs and the lows this way. Take away the stress of buying BTC.
432  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Continental Leaders on: September 27, 2017, 12:22:46 PM
This is moving towards a one global governmental order. I strongly oppose this.
433  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: September 27, 2017, 12:22:11 PM
Moderation is the key, as with everything.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what country the most loyal attitude to Bicoin? on: September 27, 2017, 12:18:51 PM
Governments around the world, and their Mainstream media puppets are going to be largely against BTC and other Cryptos, no matter where you go, as they are a direct threat to their monopoly over the money supply. You can't blame them for being negative on BTC.

People however, are entirely different, and those who know what cryptos are, typically think it is a great idea and support it.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of BTC for trading on: September 27, 2017, 12:14:34 PM
Remember that trading is incredibly risky. HODL has proven over time to be the best method. However, if you do want to day trade, the answer is simple. Only use what YOU can afford to lose. Nothing more.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is money, everything else is credit. on: September 27, 2017, 12:12:34 PM
BTC definitely fits the definition of "wealth", more so than fiat money. Fiat money is a form of transacting, nothing more. It is a debt based, horribly flawed system.
437  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is the presence of Bitcoin able to wipe out cash? on: September 27, 2017, 12:11:20 PM
I don't believe that BTC will ever do this. Cash could ultimately destroy itself one day however, as all fiat currencies throughout history have collapsed.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin being reborn? on: September 26, 2017, 07:33:53 PM
I don't know, what's the necessity of another coin that promises, fast and secure transactions/transfers?
Would like to know more.

BCN is the original of this type, it simply fell out of favor early on. Yet, it appears to be coming back.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin being reborn? on: September 26, 2017, 07:15:13 PM
Among the coins that have been in the crypto space for more than 15 months, I am most bullish about Bytecoin, Monero, Zcash, Ripple and Etherium Classic. I have a big bag of bytecoins so I surely hope it would rise with the occasion when the time is right Smiley

Who knows. Their DEV team has just recently become very active again, and are pushing to get on many more exchanges.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bytecoin being reborn? on: September 26, 2017, 06:28:35 PM
First off, I know the issues that Bytecoin had when it launched. I've been around for a very long time in the crypto space and remember that era well.

What I would like to discuss here, is what is the future of Bytecoin, if you believe it has one?

https://bytecoin.org/

I know that the developers who are running the show have become very, very active in the past few months and are really pushing to get Bytecoin out there again, and in a round about way, restore its image.

It has been recently added to exchanges, and I think more are on the way.

Let me know what you think, it is trading for virtually nothing at the moment, meaning you can buy an incredible amount of them for very little.

It may get caught up in the current Crypto boom and could possibly be looked at by institutional investors, given its history as being the first fully private and truly untraceable crypto currency.
