You used some eWallet mixing service, which ends up like this: Your Service -> You 1 -> eWallet 1 eWallet 2 -> You 2 -> Silk Road -> Joy! You had pot shipped to your door and had fun. What you didn't know is that CIA and NSA is tracing illegal nuclear arms deal by setting up a trap pot store on Silk road. Here's the whole picture: Arms Buyer -> Arms Seller -> eWallet 2 -> You 2 -> Silk Road -> Joy! Some coins that were involved in original arms deal are now tracing back to innocent *you*! ... and now CIA is after you as a potential suspect involved in illegal arms deal. When they found that you're just an innocent loser - they just send you to a local police for "correction"  So my point is that using bitcoin mixing service might make things worse. True/false? So by this logic, if Wikipedia started accepting Bitcoins for donation purposes then they could, 'potentially' be in harms way because their donated money 'could' of been part of this arms deal as well. Your Service -> You 1 -> eWallet 1 eWallet 2 - > You 2 -> Wikipedia -> Donated. Same logic and flowchart of process of funds, so it completely makes it false. |

Sending by mail a camouflaged microSD card is one of most secure ways to deliver both Pentagon and Kremlin databases  Ha. Well if the seed, is of sensitive nature, assuming such as it's a private torrent as well. I can set anything up to any specifications asked for such service. |

You're in Kansas City. How's the Google Fiber working out? It's actually a dedi in the Phoenix, NAP datacenter, in Phoenix, Arizona. I wish I had Fiber though -.- I get an amazing 5Mbps down .5Mbps up where I live. Someone else quoted something about disk I/O -- that's very likely plausible, as it's a VPS container within the dedi I have, so it does share the system with other people that use it. Also anything that goes above 1000Mbps gives you a http://www.speedtest.net/result/0.png - So I had to actually hard set the down speed to 800Mbps for this because it still burst to 975~Mbps while doing the speedtest. Without it set, it reached well over 13/1400 on a few occasions and upload speed cap was 600Mbps ... This quick of a bandwidth test doesn't portray all of the fine details, as it's going to be limited in a lot of ways. If anyone is interested in the services and wants a hop count or something similar or a wget from the server I can do that as a test for you.. |

Explained above. You buy 10GB for 0.1BTC - Take as long as you want to use it, once all 10GB are used then it gets turned off. Sounds good, but should I assume that the 10Gb of bandwidth being charged also includes the bandwidth required to get the data onto your server to seed? Or is there some other method for providing the seed data for very large torrents, such as a usb drive mailer? I'm just curious, because I have no intention of buying bandwidth to seed a torrent so large. Depends on the size. I have plenty of bandwidth. If we're talking about a 1GB file or less I'd cover the expenses of the bandwidth. EDIT: If it is a VERY large file, I would be okay with USB Drive Mailed and of course I would send it back as well. |

This is a great idea. What about torrents with low traffic, if it takes 2 months to use the 10gb is it still be the same price?

It's as simple as that. It is automated, so you will be set at a cap limit of GB/monthly. If you have a 200KB file well, it could take you a year to use it up, no problemo. |

Last time I checked as a USA citizen freedom of speech is allowed, I take it you've been out of the country since 2001? I've been here, but there are two things keeping me safe: A.) Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. B.) A Search Warrant. I'm allowed to use my bandwidth however I feel, granted it is not illegal. I'm in no position to judge whether or not some documentation is of illegal activity or not, nor am I responsible for it. Unless a search warrant is issued, and also to my own discretion. You need not only .torrent file to seed but the actual data as well. What if the data is several GB and it is extremely sensitive, even more than US embassy cables and Iraq war logs combined?
You are right, I overlooked the subject of the actual data, but that's a given. When I used the .torrent file, I think *most* people realize that just a .torrent is going to do much without any data and also for the fact that to create .torrent file someone would want us to seed for them, they would already know this information. As far as this extremely sensitive information, it's a torrent. Last time I checked as a USA citizen freedom of speech is allowed, and granted that documentation is sent to me, I then interpret that as public information. If you only want to seed to specific AKA private torrent, simply let me know. |
