According to the calculators that seem to be the standard here, on the current difficulty at 40ph, this pool should be generating a block every 4 hours (3 and change on last difficulty). Looking back at the historical block timestamps, I highly doubt all those 8+ hour chunks with no blocks were all bad luck at that hash rate. To be quite honest, it is WAY more than 250BTC that was withheld. I wouldnt be surprised if it was in the thousands per year.

That's crazy!  Pool luck is like 440%. Lol.  I know it won't last but its cool right now.

What's crazier right before you hit that we were getting ddos attacked and all my miners got knocked offline.

Who wouldve known 2 blocks wouldve made this pool a target for DDOS attacks.

Got a little bit of time left on the rental too, who needs 40ph pools?  Grin

Still a couple of hours left on the rental, looks like got bumped down due to price increase.

Good thing I just threw my bonus towards another rental for us. The pool should be at 2ph shortly.

Price went up.  My PH/s. Rental will be back when it drops.

How long is this second rental going for? I may throw another in to help when yours is up.

I mean I have only been mining since the end of December, and right away I knew something was up. I thought to myself, how can 40ph find only one block a day when at the time you had 4ph pools average 1.2 blocks a day. After about 3 weeks on slush pool I noticed this and pulled out and haven't looked back. I am frankly amazed people are still mining on this pool.

Come on, does anyone really believe it was a "random" miner?

nevermind, gave it to someone
435  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool !!!First Block Solved!!! Help us keep it going! on: February 07, 2016, 04:30:31 PM
I dont disagree with you whatsoever, however there is that element of randomness in blockfinding that makes the statistics mean a lot less. That being said, I hope your pool and BCmonster see a lot of luck and gain a ton of new members.
436  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool !!!First Block Solved!!! Help us keep it going! on: February 07, 2016, 04:06:01 PM
Not quite what I mean, what I mean is someone with an S7 as a home mining rig would see much much more per block here vs a 20PH+ pool, just look back a couple of pages, you guys are just reiterating other people's comments.

Most importantly, just paid on the first block, so we don't have a ghost pool owner here! Thanks again Laviathon for your work putting together this pool!
437  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool !!!First Block Solved!!! Help us keep it going! on: February 07, 2016, 03:54:54 PM
i understand man but you need to bring  maybe hummm > 20 PH to attract people . other way this is lottery

If you really believe that, keep making .0001 per block in those pools.
438  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool !!!First Block Solved!!! Help us keep it going! on: February 07, 2016, 03:51:46 PM
2800 hours for the hit , so you need to be very lucky to hit < 24 hours

Good luck

Once again, the second person to make a statement like that in this thread. I stated that as an incentive to get more people mining here.....
439  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool !!!First Block Solved!!! Help us keep it going! on: February 07, 2016, 03:43:55 PM
If we crack another block in the next 24 hours, I will give .25 btc to whomever does, and I am not even the pool owner.
