No, I am not buying alts because I think there will be another market crash before starting the bull run. Most of the altcoins price is not good right now and it can go further low, I am very disappointed by the EOS price. So, I decided to stop for a while, I have a plan to buy the ONT and QNT if the price goes more down.
And yes their will be a time another market crash, So we cant expect on that happen on why are those altcoins going to low the price before the bull run start. I agree with your opinion about the choice of altcoin that will develop even though in nature and risk no one can be sure and predict future developments in the price and value of altcoin or crypto currency but I am sure ETH will improve in the future I hope eth can go up like the previous price, but it seems that it will take a long time for eth to go up, maybe I will add a list of BNB for my investment because I am sure in the future BNB will have good potential. We have quite a few good options during this time period because most of the top coins are very cheap and if you have decided to invest, choose long-term holding.
