421  Local / India / Re: ₹ Erupee transactions hit 1 million per day on: March 13, 2024, 01:18:55 PM
Yes, we do see offers on Binance P2P which accepts the transaction in eRupee. In fact, I just made my first eRupee transaction.
I made a P2P transaction on Binance and encashed some money into the eRupee wallet.
After that, I redeemed the amount which then got credited directly to my bank account.
Can you tell us a bit about the details of this process and how much in total you had to pay ("Waste") in fees? What about taxation and all that horrible stuff?

I thought Binance was blocked by our ISPs at present. Did you use a VPN to access it?

If it is good enough, then we can proceed with selling some of our crypto stashes during this bull run.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 13, 2024, 01:15:49 PM
Well it crossed that sexy number and has reached new all-time-high and this will happen again as the bull run continues. This is not the time to buy because the price is overbought and rather a time to sell if you have not already. Because once the correction sets in the euphoria will end and the panic will start.

I am not quote the Wall street psychology cheat sheet once again because someone else would have already done so or you can read it yourself on the internet.

In short, if you have already sold, just wait for bitcoin to come back down.
423  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Where to sell Casascius coins? on: March 13, 2024, 01:09:28 PM
Did the OP miss out on our vibrant community over at the "Collectibles" section? I may have come across many Casascius coins auctions running there from time to time. I dont regular that section but it is pretty active and filled with the OG coin collectors of this forum.

Rather than going to eBay, you can set up a trade here with an escrow with minimal fees.

The solution should be pretty simple actually. Just reduce the claim intervals to like twice a day or every 6 hours.
We as users here think that the number of faucet claimers on freebitco.in are small, but it is not so. A number of bot accounts and all are always trying to abuse every faucet out there, this one is not exception to their wrath. If they take such a radical step, then such account owners will start complaining.

Still I feel it is the better option to go for instead of shutting down the faucet completely. But ultimately it is the decision of the owners, they might even decide to just keep it running as it is and let the dispense amount reduce proportionally.

Once again a close prediction clash in the results of round 13.

@komisariatku for sure has been hiding their crystal ball all this while, leading with a 0.59$ difference from actual he got the first position while I got the second. This is my third win on their prediction games as of now and I really feel confident that more of these are going to come in.

Congratulations to everyone who won a prize this round and thanks again to jacksclub owners for organizing it.
426  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate marketing in crypto on: March 12, 2024, 03:30:51 PM
Looking for ways of doing affiliate marketing and getting paid in crypto for it. Tried looking for information about this on the Internet but didn’t find anything. Any Information on this topic will be useful
Major businesses dealing with crypto are often giving out referral commissions from your downline. So consider looking for casinos, exchanges, wallets, gift card sellers and so on.

You can start a niche blog or website where you need to engage the people into discussions and offer then join via your referral link. This will vary depending on how you wish to promote it and how much your audience can tolerate.

If you manage to get a good traffic, some of those sites might be willing to increase your commission percentage. Cool
427  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: where to buy crypto accounts? on: March 12, 2024, 03:28:02 PM
Where can i buy kyc verified crypto account Huh
Way cheaper than to just KYC your own account.

Of course you might be paranoid about your own privacy, but if you dont trust the site then why use it in the first place?

However you might get some offers from cold-call PMs saying you that they can offer you what you have asked for, be careful in those deals, most if not all of them are going to be scam attempts.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: March 12, 2024, 03:22:45 PM
No one know that when will bear market initiate but now it seems that market is greener as it will soon attain new ATH so therefore this stage can be termed as Bull season. Bull or bear season is a matter of month not a matter of days so it can be classified according to increase or decrease that exists for some months.
The interesting thing to note is that when the bull market begins and runs, people want to know when bear market is going to come and vice-versa, we humans indeed are never happy with anything. Grin

This stems from the fact that most of the people trading with their coins dont understand the method to deal with the bear or bull markets. During the bull, like right now, we sell and then once we are out of bitcoins, we wait it out. During the bear, we buy at dropping levels and when we cant anymore, we wait for it go back up.

And the bull-stagnant-bear cycle will continue every few months or so, just a game of patience.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 12, 2024, 03:19:32 PM
It's not always easy to make the right decisions. Are you a gambler? If you're offered 1 btc without playing or 5 btc by playing (with a chance of 2 to 1). What do you do?
If there is no catch, then 1BTC without playing is what I would take.

This is because the bigger reward of 5BTC needs you to take a risk of playing but the 1BTC is risk free. Even though greed might make you go with the higher reward, the smaller reward (by no means actually small) is a confirmed pay.

This is how logic comes in play which gamblers lack or have decayed over the years of gambling addiction.
430  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: March 12, 2024, 03:15:34 PM
Yes, this is not a good way to make money, but if we have a casino review site maybe looking for referrals is a promising way to make money because we can get a lot of referrals.
It is a good way to make money but only and only if you have a good number of ACTIVE referrals and then you will see your earnings boost every month from commissions. For example if a site is giving you 10% of what a referral wagers, if you can get 10 active referrals in there, you will be getting back 100% and so on.

But reaching such number is not easy, the best way, like you have mentioned is through a site that backlinks to the casino and the site has to have content that gamblers would like to read. Unfortunately there are many sites who are already doing this and hence the market is competitive. One could still start it a side hobby and grow it over the years.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: March 11, 2024, 11:29:50 AM
I really think that because when you gamble you have a chance to get your money back, this makes many people to see gambling in a different light and they believe they can make money with it, but when they think about any other hobby, the thought of trying to obtain profits with it never crosses their minds.
Indeed the mindset of being able to make money from playing your luck is a potent impulse that drives a person to gamble. With pushing from the promotions like free spins, cashbacks and VIP treatment the gamblers feel more and more at home and get hooked to a casino.

This is how to current online gambling industry works.

Of course hobbies are never meant to be paying you. Some might but they are not persured for that purpose.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just hold in patience, nothing can stop the raging bull when it comes on: March 11, 2024, 11:24:20 AM
I think bitcoin is still in it's investment stage as an asset,
It is used both as a currency and an asset. It was destined to be a currency and endee up being an asset - one that we should procure as much as we can before the supply reduces and it starts to become even more scarce. That does not mean compromising on emergency funds or so, you should accumulate bitcoin but not like an obsession but only as a goal.

Someone may need to sell bitcoin prematurely which is fine because they need the money. They should get back to buying once feasible again.

I agree with the replies above, (too many to quote) that the dust from faucets is not worth it. But since freebitco.in started as a faucet they might give it a second thought before shutting it down albeit temporarily till the price of Bitcoin comes down. I personally don't mind the faucet staying to stopping, I am more into the investment scheme for now. But a large number of accounts are only there to run the faucet only.

FBC survived as a faucet because of the gambling section and that is what they should focus on more from now.

435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people still using bitcoin ATMs? on: March 10, 2024, 05:30:53 AM
I've been long fascinated with bitcoin ATM machines and love to spot them wherever I go traveling but haven't seen one for a long time in New York – are there any of them left in the city at all?
You can google for bitcoin ATM map and you would get your answer. Look at the links some users posted.

Quote
I keep hearing anecdotal stories of people using them but wonder if they are still considered a good way to buy bitcoin, given the steep fees these machines often charge.
Fees are an issue, you should compare it to selling bitcoin and getting fiat to pay, buying giftcards to pay and directly using bitcoin in the city. Things are not as streamlined as we bitcoiners want them to be, but its getting there slowly. When I first came to this forum, most of these options were also off, except trading.

Have you ever used a bitcoin ATM in NYC?
I live somewhere else and hence No. Where I live, there no bitcoin ATMs yet, the law enforcement confiscated the previous ones.

436  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking on people's ideas, visions, and talents. on: March 10, 2024, 05:27:31 AM
That support is of paramount importance. An idea needs to be funded to see the reality or it remains a dream forever. It is not easy to find investors and this is also accepted because of the number of shit-projects that come up in any sector be it banking or technology or anything.

If you meet a person with a vision, chances are they have already been rejected by multiple investors. Unless they come up with a minimum viable product, they are not going to get their funding.

Entrepreneurship is one tough nut and takes a lot of skill to be successful at.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: March 10, 2024, 05:21:39 AM
The more you bring in these tech to gambling the more dark the entire industry becomes, because we should face it, casinos are running in order to make money from the players and the players are addicted to gambling and paying the casino to fulfill their addiction. With more technology they are going to be hooked to gambling so much that they forget about their lives and drain everyone else's money after they dry their own pockets.

The only good about this is that you can be a part of this industry and invest in these casinos if your known mate is developing one. Dont be on the buying side of things here, you will lose.

Less than one satoshi? I would rather hope that they hold back the free rolls for the time being or increase the time interval between rolls - like once every 6hours or so and then adjust the payout rates to compensate for that.

That is if they want to continue the faucet since that is what freebitco.in has been always centered on. They can also temporarily halt the faucet but that might see a huge public outcry.

Overall, I am pretty happy with the bitcoin bull run and crossing of the all-time-high.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: March 10, 2024, 05:15:08 AM
I think the next generation will need more shielding from us when it comes to online sectors not just gambling in particular. The more technology advances the more problems they are going to run into. The objective of casinos is now to influence the players with a competitive playground more than just the game of chance. Because when you are competing with another player for that "Number 1" spot, your hormones work to push you towards playing more and that is how lose more because this is a casino not a skill based game like Tennis.

We need to be very careful about how our next of kin face these things.
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anxiety in trading (heart disease) on: March 09, 2024, 12:12:08 PM
OP should adjust the URL of that page so as to show the link in the proper neat manner using the BBCode.

Now it is indeed true that trading can lead to anxiety, loss of sleep and then the loss might lead to depression - a foray of mental health disorders stemming out of trading. Is this preventable? Most people do not possess the nerve to be calm through such trades, hence they should avoid trading if possible. It is not that trading will give you huge profits and your health is priceless.

We can also compare long term trading and short term trading - the former is less prone to cause problems than the latter.
