421  Economy / Speculation / Re: There are positive signs in the movement of bitcoin prices on: July 08, 2020, 11:54:35 PM
I've witnessed the $9300 breaking of bitcoin and thought that it will push through $9400-$9500 but it didn't. There are always opposite analysis that I have read while op says that it's a positive sign.

Whilst, last time I've read someone said that those indicators shows bad sign.  Huh
let them say whatever they want, and let us do what is necessary .we are here to Invest and not just to listen from everybody here specially those random people who says this and that.
because if we will do the same then lets expect our money will gone in the air.
Thank you for the analysis and it is definitely a great article, but I have an opposite opinion to you. I would argue that bitcoin is just finally reaching resistance to prepare for a major dump. I'm not a good technical analyst but I am pretty good on fundamentals. Our current economy is not stable and there are still many unemployed people out there but the stock index is still rising. This is something against the natural law and a bad thing will happen soon.
If there is another bad thing that will come it must have been done already because we have already survived the hardest part of this pandemic, and now we are in recovery already.
I am looking forward for great future once the full recovery of bitcoin price will happen, and I am hoping that everybody will be worthy of all their hard work and patience. Let's have self confidence and have strong faith towards our conviction. Don't be discouraged with some minor price fluctuations, because it's all part of the correction process.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 11:22:55 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

I felt your pain mate, that's the most common feelings nowadays specially when your part of a non growing project. Most tokens generated during bearish market wasn't able to established a reliable value and not even listed on a trusted exchange sites. What you need to do right now is coordinate with the team of what coins you're holding and ask for any developments. It's the best thing to do in order to wake them up to reactivate the community once again.
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else see a big bitcoin upwards movement coming very soon? on: July 06, 2020, 11:58:26 PM
Bitcoin hitting a new height this year was something everyone would have expected to be before the year runs out. As at now, the economic hold down on all round the world being affected by corona, bitcoin surge to a new height will not be completely attained. This does not really stop the rise in the price of bitcoin, but it getting above 2017 height is not really attainable until the ecomy of every nation bounce back to its feet.

The history of bullrun is somehow an inspiration to all of us who decided to hold bitcoin for such a long time. Though we're still at very tough times, never lose hope and courage to face those challenges behind us. We will survive this current pandemic, and one day bitcoin price recovery dominates the marketplace again.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 04, 2020, 12:55:42 PM
I can't tell maybe it is a scam but you can hardly tell how successful it will be. Most projects depend so much on the contributions of the investors and when they do not raise substantial amount, it becomes another challenge that might result in the end of the project. From experience 99% of project this days when listed fall short of the original price meaning they may not be profitable

If there's no actual project progress monitoring, don't deal with it and certainly scam is highly possible to happen. Unlike the year 2017 most projects resulted at 85% successful compared with 2018 until present of 2020. Do some deeper research before making a final decision on investing with strange project or whatsoever profit gaining advertisements.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 03, 2020, 08:52:37 PM
3 days have passed, and there are no signs yet. it looks like we have a moon full of calm. Yeah, this is better than a dump. it's just, I still hope the price increase at the beginning of this month. Well, maybe the price movement will be seen next week.

Let's not rejoice yet, since there's no significant attempt that bull run could take a better dominance this month. However, don't lose such hope that in every milestone there's always a better future. Just stay still and calm while we don't market still trying to recover at most potential capability.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Gonna be volatile again! Nothing New though on: July 02, 2020, 01:35:19 PM
When the Halving is over, the market specifically Bitcoin went sideways just like what it did in 2016 and in 2012 when the halving is over.

I have adopted the volatility feature of Bitcoin already and I don't feel anything anymore if whatever happens to it so it is really "nothing new". It isn't as volatile as it is since we are in a sideways direction but I think lets just wait for its next move. Will it go up or down? Just be ready into whatever may happen anytime because anytime it can go back to around 8k and possibly lower or it can go up 10k and go higher.
There is no concrete predictions for now, every idea was always in connection with previous trend which mainly affected several insights. Volatility of the market pulls down the recovery attempt of the entire market, that's why we need to be more cautious on that matter.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: July 01, 2020, 02:52:05 AM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

Bounty campaign whose tokens have already been listed on the exchanger I think will slightly affect the price in the market. Investors will wait for tokens to be dumped by bounty hunters and I think this is reasonable because investors will definitely try to buy at cheap prices. For hunters, campaigns whose tokens have already been listed on the exchanger will be profitable because they don't have to wait long for distribution or selling tokens.
Investors is having a suicide if they'll kept on investing with uncertain tokens that doesn't have strong community. Bounty hunters who doesn't have plans for their rewards, has no room for future of an specific project. What they have is greed in their hearts, and don't care for the benefits of other holders.
If I am part of the bounty, I would choose to sell what I only needed to and avoid having panic when market declines.
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Lost $9,300, Bearish Re-test In Play? on: June 30, 2020, 12:02:04 PM
We are green today, but I don't see any FUD though, it's just that traders are cashing it out and waiting how the market will play. We are still above $9k, indication that we are neither bullish or bearish. We are in the boredom phase, Lol, unless there is break out run this July that will make the market very lively, so let's wait and see.

We are nearly approaching the month of July, and this is really an exciting moments that everyone is waiting. Green market signals is almost showing nice tracks but it sounded frustrating when sudden bearish strikes quickly, and pulled down the market instantly. Gladly, $9k was stabilized figure so let's hope and have positive outlook, that we will survive this current struggles.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smartphones aren't spywares attack proof on: June 29, 2020, 01:06:47 PM
To keep your smartphones safe from any harm or to avoid getting your smartphones hacked you need to

1. Always make your phone a privacy one, don't give out to even friends or strangers, I knew a Android app that can sniff on anything you are doing on your phone and download your messages to the other hackers phone

2. Don't open links sent to you through email, they are spamming mails that consists of phishing links, clicking on them is giving access to the hacker who build the links

3. Don't go through websites that aren't secured with https, I'm sure chrome browsers warns user when they are about to open links that aren't secure e.g Http
I think the way you describe is very meaningful because it can prevent criminal acts that can attack using your smartphone, I think that is enough but you should remain vigilant because I know the smartphone security is still not very safe even though many are currently developing security for smartphones.

If majority of us who uses mobile phones still afraid of this incident to occur at random times, never hesitate to install an authentication app. This will help you prevent any unauthorized access of your private log in, at different emails or confidential information that you wanted to control. With this idea, the provision of secure control can be done even if you felt the vulnerability your device of being attacked by spywares of any phisings.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Argentum Speculation on: June 25, 2020, 11:44:16 PM
Don't buy when you're not sure at all, the risk is too big and these days isn't a wise idea because we're still not having a green market yet. Most shitcoins were still sleeping and not showing any progress of price increase.
When bitcoin shows a bullrun behavior, then let's see Argentum's value if it spikes or begin to accumulate a better value.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now BTC Price will drop or up? on: June 25, 2020, 10:57:33 PM
Also, if you are waiting for that 10k do not forget that price going down actually helps it go higher in the end as well. I know this confuses people a lot usually because how could bitcoin price going down means that it will go a lot higher but that is just how the market works. When the price goes down that means people will sell at the current price but there will be a lot more bitcoins bought at lower ends, which means accumulation and that creates a lot more people who wants to see bitcoin go up.

When they buy a lot more to accumulate and get a future profit that causes the price to go up, when the price goes up there are people who fall for the FOMO and the hype so they buy more as well. All of this causes the price to go higher than right now, all because there was cheap bitcoins to be bought by some people after the drop.

Many factors will affect bitcoin price to climb up higher, but meanwhile FOMO and hype can be possible if whales take the drive of this current market behavior. Regular traders has no control with this recent changes, it creates more panic rather than increasing demand. People's mindset is more of actual market graphical trend analysis and not from predictions.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: June 25, 2020, 02:16:01 PM
Apologies if this comes up a lot (as I'm sure it does) but when / how often do you feel is best to buy the dip?

I know its not an exact science but I've heard a few different preferences on this such as:

- When the price decreases x% on the weekly/monthly candle
- When the price moves below the weekly/monthly negative average
- Only a couple of times a year after a major correction
- Just look at the chart and go on your experience / gut

I am for the dump,i mean at least more than 10% of fall?i will surely add some on my folio.

I have been holding my coins so adding is just an option, but in time like what last march 12 happen?i would particularly wait for the deepest before buying again.

I respected your decision, but what I've seen here for now is the smartest decisions that we could make. Don't wait for another dumped price to occur because it's already happening right now. On my own perspective, the market stabilize very well so let's grab the very best timing before another bullrun price will commence.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 24, 2020, 11:59:47 PM
It's true. Even though Binance bought CMC it doesn't mean that it isn't fair that Binance is top 1. Even if they didn't bought CMC binance will still take the seat. Like you said, Binance has a great reputation overall. And one of the golden coins. So there's no doubt that binance will dominate the chart.
I don't think Binance needs to buy CMC to get first place there, because indeed they have become the trust of the Traders at this time. What the Binance Team needs to do is they have to stay like this, maintain their good reputation forever so I'm sure their Exchange will remain No. 1 in Crypto world.

Binance has been tested for so long time, and I don't think traders will turn their backs on them. They'll still remain a strong part of people's hearts, and nobody can take that away. Having another options isn't justifiable, and if they'll remain to what they are right now it kept them more efficient and reliable exchange site.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: OKAY WHALES and PRICE FIXERS, time to create a price surge!!! on: June 24, 2020, 11:01:47 PM
Are you trying to make a pump and dump group? It doesn't make sense to make one and just rely on its movement alone.
And while relying on, you have to understand the market so you can create your analysis.
Those whales can't be dictated and they were playing in their own way. In fact that if those whales are always doing random pump for sure. he didn't know how the crypto market works but I hope what he was hoping will happen very soon

Whales had their confidential strategy in taking the right actions before that potential pumps will happen. Maybe we will see some of their moves will work but if the market will not response quickly, I think they'll able to risk for more years. They played discreetly, that's why it's too hard to predict their minds.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin volume so low? What effect on price? on: June 24, 2020, 02:22:45 AM
Bitcoin volume is extremely low right now. It’s still higher than the 2017 bull run but way down from March 2020 highs (im assuming that was the RONA Crash of 2020?)

What effect does this low volume have on price? I understand what it really does is allow bigger swings to happen as less money is needed to move the market.

I’m curious if anyone can give me some insight?
There might be a low volume of trades right now but every time bitcoin dumps, that’s the volume started to show and that’s why the price is still up because of a great support level. We are moving a sideways trend so technically, there’s no huge volume to be seen. If bitcoin spikes again the volume will start to show, just buy while the volume is still low because we are still waiting for bull to come again.

Indeed bullrun is worth waiting to come, but what's making the hard thing that's making it harder to come nowadays was due to covid-19. Most traders we're not able to plan their moves towards crypto because of this underlying problems. It really has affected many businesses particular on fiat exchange, how much worst with cryptocurrency. That's why I am sighting it as primary reasons why the price of btc wasn't able to spike commendably.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next Movement......... on: June 23, 2020, 11:43:31 PM
Hopefully by late 2020 we will see another drastic increase. Last time this happened the increase was around December remember? Because most of the time people spend a lot of money during summer and this summer it will probably be even more because nobody went outside for a long time and even though the virus is still out there it was already very difficult to keep people inside for 3 months (both economically and emotionally) and that means everyone will be able to go outside after 3 months and I am sure they will spend a significant amount of money.

It means they will not be able to save and put money aside and buy bitcoin. However, when it is November/December they will be back and they will start saving up and buying again which will definitely increase the price.

I see the reality of your statement my friend, and that's the most usual mindset of every investors right now. That's really difficult to move on forward, since the market still remain unstable and kept fluctuating nearly down. Many people had lost their funds due to pandemic reasons, so it's temporarily having a huge impact to emotional and financial aspects of life.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nobody talks about Bitcoin Diamond on: June 23, 2020, 11:09:48 PM
I noticed that nobody discuss Bitcoin Diamond. According to WorldCoinIndex Bitcoin Diamand has been rising since March this year. Today the price even breached $0.75.

What is the future of Bitcoin Diamond? Will it become as popular as the top 10 coins?

- snip -

i think the rising price of bitcoindiamond is because of this news https://twitter.com/BitcoinDiamond_/status/1275348793521651713
maybe this coin can be a good choice, but to become the TOP 10 i think its hard to be true

The news isn't justifiable when it comes to price and social media post like from twitter. Some fud makers will pay a huge amount of money to gather huge interest coming from individuals who followed every footsteps of a certain coin. Based on my experience, no just with bitcoin diamond but also with other coins who gained highest demand during bullrun period of 2017.

439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Continue to Hold your bitcoin on: June 22, 2020, 11:35:38 PM
a lot of signals came out today, stating Bitcoin is still confused about going up or down, maybe you better let go of Bitcoin and go to altcoin,
because maybe the sideways will be very long in the $ 9000 zone
Bitcoin's price is suprisingly staying in $9,000 after the halving has occured, even it shows a downfall signal from the last few days. I assume bitcoin has a chance to increase and stay it's price to $10,000 next month, so it is better if we will continue to hold our bitcoin.

Bitcoin is moving around that region indeed, and that's a good sign anyway. I mean, Bitcoin wasn't showing  a bearish mode from the last few weeks. When the price dropped at the edge of $9,000, It'll automatically bounce back in 24-48 hour span. There's just something that hinders Bitcoin to break the 5 digit level.
On the other hand, I didn't see any point of selling your Bitcoin at this current range. Bitcoin has a very good potential to break another ATH this year or next year, and finding the bottom might be very hard for accumulation again. So, better get hold firmly of your Bitcoins.

Hopefully that won't contradict those expectations mate, and that potential that you're talking about will soon coincide successfully. Other people might decide quickly on dumping their asset but unfortunately in the end it's a very wrong decisions to make. Some might regret all those wasted capital, when sudden price bounce will take effect again.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 21, 2020, 07:58:20 AM

What do you expect from the new altcoins?

What I expect from the new altcoin is to have its own Blockchain and be able to compete with other coins, such as transaction speed, a solid team, and a good marketing strategy so that it does not disappoint investors. for coin sales I think crowdfunding like IEO are more interested.

The project called OP is clearly a scam, everything seems unconvincing.

That's too obvious if a project tried to promote scammy protocol, and sorry for those who can't recognize it because it quite too hard to point out the signs if you're just a newbie with crypto. For now I believed IEO project started to regain investors confidence, because I got previous project last 2019 became successful on their goals.
