421  Local / India / Re: I want to buy a/your bitcointalk account! on: June 26, 2017, 05:28:32 AM
It's not fair to buy bitcointalk accounts from other members! trying to lead your own account.
Who said so? It is perfectly fair to purchase account with higher reputation from other users who are willing to sell it. In fact there is separate subsection for 'auction of account' happens on this forum.
422  Local / India / Re: [COMMUNITY ALERT] Robin Khandelwal Scams Indian investors for almost 5 Bitcoins on: June 19, 2017, 06:33:14 PM
You should report the incidents on LB and get issue resolved.
423  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: June 19, 2017, 06:31:16 PM
Hello everyone, thanks to the thread starter!

I've been reading into it and I got fascinated about this, (so much good info here,  why isn't everyone doing their own research before investing?!?!) because apparently this fraud has reached my small home country called Estonia.

I know an individual who has invested in the gainbitcoin and he has met with the owner Mr AB and an Asian guy,  a president, professor Johnny Chung (a really smart guy who owns 3 big time companys, and is a marketing president for GBC[that's the story anyway]).
At least that's what he calls himself. I was told that he was born in USA, but is South Korean. Now googling the name nothing really pops up. (must be owning some underground big time companies, that the Internet never heard about??)  Weirdly enough same goes for Gainbitcoin CEO Mark Lee. No real findings. What caught my attention is the names. Johnny & Mark American names, Chung & Lee Asian names. Perhaps they are the same guy?

Here's a photo of Amit Bharwaj and Johnny CHUNG (or Mark LEE?)  taken by the guy. I am yet to break the bomb on him, that he's being ripped off, and that he should try to get his coins into an independent wallet as fast as possible.

(hope the img works, really don't do forums that much)

Is there anything that we could do, do get to these bastards, ripping off people who are already poor without someone scamming them?
What if the guy wakes from his dream, and decides to help the cause of nabbing these muthafuchas? (if he still has access to them) What could possibly be done to put them to schacles?

Any good ideas on how to identify the Asian guy?

All the best!

It is good to see that some people are getting benefits  of this thread.  In addition right now Gainbtc is going through the rough phase like their wallet which shows daily payouts is straight forward lie and never allows withdrawals. Many investors crying as they are not able to get their refund. Some have called even when they received amount they invested in Rupees  that is person invested 1000 Rupees when bitcoin was 40000. So far he has received payout amounting 1000 rs whereas btc values is 189000 (if person has just kept that bitcoin, it would have 4times what he invested).
As far as Asian Guy is concerned you wont be able to find anything about him. Most possibly it is made up identity.
424  Local / India / Re: Hey Indians, what your parents think of bitcoin and other altcoins? on: June 19, 2017, 07:28:43 AM
Old generation does not care of crypto/digital currency at all. They care about steady income and Insurance Policy as investment.
425  Local / India / Re: Bitcoins cannot be legal in India. on: June 13, 2017, 07:10:36 AM
INDIA makes me ignorant more day by day Sad
More and more comments from OP shows that OP is simply trolling here and has no intension of asking question for getting information. Just like youtube trolls!

427  Economy / Speculation / Re: happy or scared about the price? on: May 25, 2017, 07:01:10 AM
There is nothing to scare about. However very cautious time to buyers. HODLERS facing dilemma whether to dump some and enjoy profit.
For altcoin holder, this is really bad time to remain calm. Bitcoin has hit some very badly. At same time, because of btc, many altcoins are at ATH of their so far run.  Feel sorry for ripple owner as they suffered both bitcoin effect and recent news of maybe 9 billion xrp dump. this has crashed ripple very badly.

For bitcoiner, it is always purchase and HODL for long.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: May 24, 2017, 09:29:23 AM
Indeed its becoming Global currency...
now no more have to rely on banks, paperwork, custom issue..
we can transfer money easily from anywhere...
No, it is not. At this stage bitcoin is NOT capable for becoming one. It is not at all scalable. Look at the clogged transaction on blockchain.  US dollar is global currency and will remain so. In order to become the global currency bitcoin needs to be scalable to handle the load efficiently.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: May 23, 2017, 09:51:33 AM
Purchase as many bitcoin you wish and HODL for looong time till bitcoind value doubles or trade few bitcoins in altcoin and double.
430  Local / India / Re: Oldest Bitcoin Adapter(s) in India! on: May 22, 2017, 11:11:51 AM
I don't see any legit motive in kind of research OP is doing.  Very first reason is to hunt down those early birds and use that information for malicious purpose. May be OP's intentions are not malicious but someone with evil nature would use that list.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a Bubble? on: May 20, 2017, 06:13:39 PM
No, it isn't a bubble. Everytime there is major rise in price, it looks like its a bubble. However with minor correction, bitcoin price climbs new high everytime. Thus this time as well it wont crash. Only chance of major setback when bitcoin getting implemented in all fields and is used by major financial entities. That's when it will be tested correctly. Right now the bitcoin used by few and many financial major find it not-scalable.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: May 19, 2017, 06:46:08 PM
I agree, currently bitcoin already used a lot of people and all States are satisfied with the system of the bitcoin transactions, compared to conventional bank then bitcoin better.
If the term global is used to determine the usage of bitcoin across most of the countries, then bitcoin is already a global currency. Only thing it needs is legal adoption, which is quite not possible to be got in a short time period.
Global currency does not mean used by fraction of the fraction people from some countries. Bitcoin first needs to prove itself as scalable to other currencies. look at the uncleared transaction on blockchain. We want bitcoin to scale up it to such level that nobody should doubt about it. Right now that is not the case. There are lot of doubts about the voilatile nature and features such as microtransactions missing.
Lets hope bitcoin will tackle every challenge successfully.
433  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: May 18, 2017, 06:22:47 PM

434  Economy / Economics / Re: Will silver ever skyrocket? on: May 18, 2017, 06:04:08 PM
It could go up and big whales monopolize the silver supply and then made it scares. Weird! hanh.  At this stage, silver is used in many industries thus it is industrial level metal compared to the gold.  The silver supply is in abundance and it does not hold same affection as gold or other precious metals does. But as I said nothing is impossible. Real life example, diamond. Diamonds are NOT at all scare and in fact are found in abundance. Just because their supply is monopolized, their prices have been marked up. In addition to that diamond has been cleverly marketed by Dee beers as symbol of love and stability [1] and [2]

435  Local / India / Re: Indian Whatsapp Group About Bitcoins on: May 17, 2017, 06:44:11 PM
These kind of whatsapp groups are only created for promoting scams and scams only. Sooner or later real purpose of group creation is revealed by asking to participate in some HYIP progam.
One post per day limit: nothing more puzzling than this.
Forum like bitcointalk.org are far better and content rich places to get reputed, trusted information and data.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a GOOD prediction? on: May 15, 2017, 06:44:38 AM
One approach:
- Keeping eye on market proceedings, new trends.
- Understand why price is hiking or plunging. Reading forum or cryptosites usually helps in understanding this.
- cryptoworld(btc) is very volalite and vulnerable to the FUD. Thus any news of any approval or rejection or acceptance affects bitcoin price to great extent.
- Monitoring bitcoin or crypto forums to check what is going on.

Above is technical approach or educated guess. There another approach (no joke or pun intended):
- Contact fortune-tellers and get there guidance(? Wink)
- Learn astrology, tarrot-card reading, etc etc and predict changes yourself.
- Look for signs from Universe

There are people who go by technical approach and other by emotional(faith) approach. Decide which suits better.

I want to know where i should sell/buy bitcoins india,i mean in which site which is trustable that doesnt take time and process transactions quickly including deposit/withdrawal of inr and sending of bitcoins and whose support staff replies quickly as well.

Reading existing threads helps a lot and saves time. Read following thread, this should answer your queries:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1673156.0

A useful thread for newbies in order to get a good exchange for selling and buying.
I think most of the people voted for coinsecure because of the exchange rates it provide. But I would say Zeb is better for me, faster kyc approve and even bank transfer take 24 hours maximum. Coinsecure take lot of time in kyc approve.

Once KYC is done, coinsecure is far better than other when it comes to the rates which you get and most importantly quick withdrawal. One could understand significance of quick withdrawal only after you get trade regularly.
zebpay is good when it comes to kyc and technical support if any issue is observed with purchase and sell. They really know how to keep customer happy. The time it takes to purchase bitcoin is bit slow and delay is quite observable when withdrawal is requested.

By the way, reality check for gbminers participation in ASSOCHAM this year. It seems that most of attendees of last ASSOCHAM's participant were gainbitcoiners.  Approx 90%. Check this coverage:

http://www.caravanmagazine.in/vantage/questionable-investment-scheme-dominated-assochams-global-summit-bitcoin

A person has invested 224 bitcoins (2.1 Crores) in gainbitcoin and helped others to follow similar footsteps.

It is not difficult to stay in business as he is shifting into new venture called MCAP. It is kind of mutual fund type idea based on bitcoin. With this he'll be able to buy some more time. After that something new will be introduced.
