421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 25, 2019, 10:50:05 AM
I recently purchased bitcoin, it was the most I have ever put into a cryptocurrency.
This is going to be a long term buy, This was taken out of stock money,
Now that I have done this I feel more excited about
where bitcoin is headed than  I do about stocks. Now I feel like I should take more out of
Stocks, Feel there’s going to be more return this way. Thoughts on this am I getting carried away

Well, I think there's nothing wrong with that as a matter of fact it is the right thing to do, however, much better if you will use the amount of money you can afford to lose remember, the market is full of surprises. Anyway, buying Bitcoin now and hold it for a long time could be the best option you choose due to the fact that Bitcoin will rise again and will become greater as it before way back in 2017.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 24, 2019, 02:41:23 PM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money
That is why I'll never become fond of peer trade, for me it would be much better to have a trade in a platform. However, even some trading platform has intention of scamming that is why before making a trade it would be much better if you will check the credibility first. Besides, I recommend that have a knowledge first before engaging in any transaction.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: December 24, 2019, 01:16:04 PM
I've been in trouble and now I have a lot of debt
Can I double my capital in two months because if I do not pay I will die or be imprisoned
Please help me I think I am a professional but I am nervous now I can not trade well  Huh
Having those negative thoughts won't be a help for your trade as a matter of fact this will only be a hindrance. You should be aware of your emotions while trade. Now, with regards if you would successfully to double your money I think it is plausible, however, we are on bear market so it would hard to see a fluctuating coins.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: December 23, 2019, 05:08:51 PM
Just take part in bounty programmes where you can earn tokens just from sharing something on your social media. You can also get great rewards by taking part in more serious campaigns like articles, videos or signature.

absoluetely right,,
bounty campaign is one from many way to earn crypto without investing,
but we should have enough time to do that my friend, and thats mean we invest our time by joined any bounty campaign
regards
Yes, it is true, if we want to get crypto without investing or mining, of course many people will advise to participate in the project bounty, although when viewed lately many people complain because of the many projects which then turn into a scam and make many people felt that what he was doing was useless but not all projects were like that. Indeed it takes time for us to observe how the project is before deciding to participate and also many bounty campaigns that we can do according to what suits us.

The current situation has clearly told us that the bounty campaign is nearing the end of its life when its development has reached the limit, the projects created no longer attract investors and most projects are fraudulent, we continue to participate in bounty is just a thought to accumulate a little more money and look for a little luck, long term is not positive. Other jobs without investing have also become saturated, newbie can hardly join, long-term participants are also tired of earning income, in the end, we can only control life through investing
If we look at the current bounty campaign it is indeed not so profitable or you could say that there are many projects that ultimately cheat and harm many people. Maybe it's true that for now it's better to invest in the top coins or we can trade if we have a better understanding of what trading is.

Looking for bounty campaigns are indeed not a good choice to earn profit the fact that we are in bearish market. Besides, investors are now having a doubt to invest in some projects that could cause of failing to reach the target cap. As for alternative trading and investment could be better. Investing on top ranked coins for having a high chance of getting a profit.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: December 23, 2019, 03:01:41 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
Each individual have their own preferences upon choosing their desired exchanges and in my case I would like to engage in a exchange that does not require KYC since I am not fond of giving my personal info. Having a low fees and better transactional speed could be a good factor as well. Firm security, good UI, support team must be active and more.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 23, 2019, 02:18:36 PM
Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?
I am the person who don't likely spend a lot in gambling so I think perhaps if I calculated it I could buy a single phone. I've only gamble once or twice half a month with a small amount so I don't think I have lost a huge amount of money. Besides, I am not using gambling to earn but rather use it only for entertainment.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: December 23, 2019, 11:54:32 AM
Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??
There's no such thing as expertise in making prediction in this kind of market for due to the fact that the crypto market was unpredictable. But anyway, perhaps Bitcoin could exceed more than $10,000 due to halving will happen this next year. I am not expecting that it will reach $20,000 just like before. However, I am pretty sure that there will be changes after that day so better if we accumulate now so we could get a high return.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: December 22, 2019, 03:31:16 PM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
Actually, my private keys, passwords and even passphrase are somehow in a safe place I think. And regarding with the people who knows what I am doings is just my family and my friends. Those friends of mine are also part of the community, in fact they are the one who encourage me to enter this field so I have nothing to hide from them. It better indeed to have other source of income because first of all you can't rely on crypto all the time. I think much better if you will not publicize your attachment from crypto just to be safe.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: December 22, 2019, 02:49:18 PM
It was quite a while since I've updated my #6. I stopped day trading because I wasn't having enough time to do and learn the ropes of in-depth day trading plus it isn't a pleasant start so I was kinda demotivated to continue day-trading 5 different coins in Binance. That was the exchange that where I day traded first.

Yeah we need to really motivated to do a day trading with this current condition of the market, if we really good enough at trading i'm sure we still can earn money from it but the chance is so low due to more coins are down compared to rising coins. Hope next year will be good for day trading and hoping bitcoin price is rising too.
I do also think that it is not the right time to day trade due to some reason that most of the coins are dump and not making any big movement. The perfect time for daily trade in my opinion is if market is in balance state where not downtrend or uptrend. Anyway, I think after the halving we might see a bit difference so just grip for a moment until the right time comes.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game is most fair in Online Casino. on: December 22, 2019, 02:07:40 PM
All the games are fair if the gambling site is fair, otherwise, those games that you listed will not exist until now.

So far, most votes are on dice, well, I understand because people can check the seed and they can verify if it's fair or not, and there has been a lot of dice sites in the crypto space so that would also say that people are playing dice games more because they trust them more.
I also do think that it depends on the gambling site. Yet, if the code used on it is random then definitely it is probably fair. In my opinion, dice is game is the really fair among them all whether it is live or online game. And I could say that Sports bet could be provably fair as well since it depends on the skills of the opposed two teams.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: December 22, 2019, 01:19:29 PM
I agree that the way a government taxes cryptocurrency can affect how it is used. The US requires capital gains taxes on transactions which will prevent cryptocurrency from being used as a regular payment method at least for small purchases.
People are really not willing to pay taxes for the transactions they make with crypto currencies. There are high taxes that people pay when they make transactions with fiat and crypto currencies are the ones which have provided people great alternative. If government is going to make bitcoin legal, definitely they will do this after designing a method of charging taxes through this currency and that will affect its usage.
Indeed. I think no one person would like to have a tax upon having transaction in cryptocurrencies, people are preferably earn through crypto market simply because it is away on taxation as a matter of fact even transactional fees is a big deal in crypto community. I think it will be tough for government to impose a tax in this kind of system due to the fact that this cryptocurrencies are decentralize and cannot be fully manipulate by anyone.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 22, 2019, 12:19:11 PM
but I think fraudsters must have looked for other ways to manipulate transactions. but if it can happen I am sure that fraud can be reduced, because the way to stop them might close some of their access to where they commit fraud. Although I'm sure that not all fraud will disappear, I think it can be reduced

Definitely, but what you are pertaining to the ways to stop them is quite hard. We need a system that is regulated to be implemented in a space where everything is decentralized and that is too hard because of the features that cryptocurrency has compared to fiats that is already regulated. With this, other ways of restricting fraudsters to access the market is needed rather the traditional way. I hope soon there will be systems that will implement this but right now, what we can just do is to become personally responsible to our actions for us to avoid getting our funds compromised.

when bitcoin becomes traceable that simply means that its already regulated   . scammers will be reduced drastically but like you guys said there are other scammers that will try to cope up with the new system so that is why that we must not be confident even if btc is traceable already but we shall double our safety measure's because scammers becames stronger on that moment      .  however i dont think that some will like the idea of a traceable crypto
I think Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies transactions are already traceable but not entirely because if you look on the transaction made upon Blockchain you could the address of the reciever which only imply that you coule really trace it. In addition, even if it is traceable we cannot remove these scammers because like in fiat where it is fully regulated there are still some cases of scam. Therefore, scammers are inevitable they could adapt to the system and find other way to do their scheme.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 21, 2019, 10:51:31 AM
So, guys, I think it's a small but a win. A win of our crypto community! I hope there will be more such examples of accepting crypto in 2020. We will start with small countries and then go to global powers. What do you think?

There's the news https://bitcoinist.com/crypto-payments-now-legal-in-ukraine/
I am pretty sure that there will be more countries that will acknowledge the existence of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Perhaps, the legalization of cryptocurrency in Ukraine will have an impact and could might make a slight difference in the price of Bitcoin.
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: December 20, 2019, 03:06:09 PM
Hello guys, I'm here because am so lost and confused about this whole thing of trading bitcoin or any other market as forex, stocks ...... first, when i started trading bitcoin it because i heard and saw many people talking about it and that you can make a lot of money. I mean yeah at first i made some profits by buying small amounts of bitcoin in Yobit then selling it again when the price goes up, but when day when the bitcoin went down i lost a lot of money.
I didn't quit trading but i moved to forex market. And as all they say technical analysis is the key to win in this market and there's many youtubers showing their money by trading forex anyway I'm not sure of it. The problem lately i watched some people saying that technical analysis is bullshit and I'm really confused

What i want to know is how can i become a successful trader and make money for the rest of my life. Should i learn technical analysis or harmonic patterns......
And which is the best market to trade for a beginner.

I am not that perfect trader and not a newbie either. My tips are don't use other strategies but rather make your own if you will use them then just only a guide and none other than that. Be patience, just like you what have mentioned, after the Bitcoins fall down you lose your money right? Honestly, it is not, remember Bitcoin is volatile if you are willing to wait then you can gain it back or even get a profit, and you can compared this to HODL in which you will wait until the right time before make a sell. And yeah, having a technical analysis and planning ahead will be much helpful for our trade.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin and several altcoins on: December 20, 2019, 02:27:00 PM
I think that currently the price of cryptocurrency is best good price to buying them.
So I am going to buy many bitcoin and altcoins.
Please send msg only man/womens who real selling btc and altcoin.
If no, I will reject all msgs.
I want to buy many bitcoin and altcoins.
It is indeed the right time to purchase the coins you want but you must not recklessly buy just a random altcoin, choose the altcoins that are capable of giving a high return, coins that have a high volume. Now upon the procurement of Bitcoin and altcoins, why you choose to buy on a person over exchanges. I think exchanges are much reliable and less risky when it comes to purchasing those coins. And if you reasoning out of having a doubt of submission of your personal data, there are several platforms that do not require any KYC.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 20, 2019, 12:23:53 PM
~snip~
I still gamble but with discipline and limitation.
These are two important things that a gambler should possess in order to avoid unnecessary losses and also to avoid getting addicted, if a gambler doesn’t have this then they will not only lose there money but it could be there families too. It is okay to gamble but only spend the amount that you can afford while providing a good lifestyle to your family.
Gambling is a game of luck, no matter how good you think you are you, there is no guarantee that you will win always that is why discipline is important for you to know when to stop when you have to.
Easier to be said than to be done. If you have experience in gambling then you should know that even if you provide any limitation and discipline it will be tough to manage the urge of your emotion, but I do still believe that it varies depends on their personalities. And it is true that you should only gamble the amount of money you can afford to lose or much better if you will use it only by means of entertainment none other than that. Gambling is all about luck as they said and it is true thus don't have high expectations of getting a profit.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC which price it's heading next? on: December 20, 2019, 11:18:54 AM
BTC would probably just play around this area. the 6k - 8k range. Unless anything major occurs and by major I mean major. I'd believe this period to be the time for traders to accumulate BTC before the major halving of 2020. Major market changes would probably happen by February or March instead of this month or January, cause well, traders are also preparing for the changes halving may bring towards the current market. Changes may occur cause of the holiday seasons and a lot of people dropping off BTC to change to fiat, but shouldn't affect market price that much.
You have a point. I don't think there will be a huge movement in Bitcoin's price this month, the fact that folks will convert some of their coins into fiat. Perhaps, Bitcoin will not exceed $9000 unless there will be some phenomenon will occur that will have an impact on the market. In my opinion, we should take this opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoins since the next halving is near. Talking with halving, probably there will be some big changes after this occurrence so I guess it is better to be prepared before it became too late.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 20, 2019, 10:38:45 AM
In 2017, Nearly 50000 users in a day were singing up on Coin base.  In my view, more number of people are now engaged about the blockchain mainstream
than 2017. Curious minds to know “How many people are joining with their exchange now? Is this really increasing or what?

I think let say it is indeed increasing due to the fact that most of the countries are now acknowledge the existence of blockchain technology and even cryptocurrencies. Simply we could say that we are getting into massive adoption. It seems government are now taking back the strict regulations they laid on it. However, we cannot remove the fact that people are just creating a multiple accounts that is very common in this industry I think.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 19, 2019, 03:34:23 PM
I've been running a topic for the last few days, what attracts most people to online casino and what keeps them?
In my opinion, the most important indicator is the financial situation, as much as you got lost.
If it's not a tense background, it's very important to me that the background is calm and relaxes me.
Your opinion.
We have different preferences why we gamble online, in my case I gamble online because it is convenient compare on visiting in physical casinos. I am the type of person who don't like having a hard time that is why online gambling is my thing. Besides, what I love is the variety of games and the UI in online gambling platform.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy BTC or Gold? on: December 19, 2019, 02:11:20 PM
Just read this article on whether it's a cool idea to get gold this christmas:

https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/should-buying-gold-be-on-your-christmas-list/

My reasoning to NOT buy gold:

BTC is on sale
the price of gold is not on sale

My reasoning to buy gold:

It's shiny?
The good thing of purchasing a gold is that it can last long as a matter of fact it has been used for such a long time unlike Bitcoin. Gold has been guaranteed that will continue for the last of years while future of Bitcoin is vague due to the reason of appearing of owned digital currency by government.
