421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: July 01, 2020, 06:12:24 AM
Security is important not only in cryptocurrencies. I think any processes and transactions on the Internet should be confidential and secure.

Neconic I agree, security is important everywhere. I think that keeping crypto-currencies in a hardware wallet is safer than
to have cash in a wallet. We can compare crypto-currencies and banks, who is more secure, who has faster and cheaper transactions,
who can provide easier access, and usability. Probably crypto-currencies, at least some of them are much better in all this than
banks can be.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: July 01, 2020, 04:49:33 AM
The audience's presence can bring their motivation back to the stadium, so they will rise and try to survive and even try to win.

Professional players are already playing against the pressure to win for "many many many years"!

How come they will struggle to be motivated just because of no audience? They already know that as part of the new normal so adjustment is already made which is easy and not that difficult to overcome.

If these players can't play well because of no audience then the team's management is just totally wasting money on their salary.

Chaser15 you have a point here, if they can't be motivated to win for higher salaries, for winning championship than
the team management is wasting money.
Call me old, but I don't like virtual fans idea. Younger generations are attracted by virtual things, and they will like this, for us
who are +40 virtual is not so interesting.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin market speculation ?? on: June 30, 2020, 01:41:21 PM
Right now the Cryptocoins prices shown on WorldCoinIndex still being down this week. I wonder when the cryptocoins will recover again?
Just keep on wondering because no one can answer that truthfully .

Market is still showing stable and at least good position ,Imagine pumping high but well manipulated?

There are great things from this silent market.

Expect some changes in market this coming quarter because this is the middle of the year and mostly the deciding part of what will happen in the year end.

Reatim I agree that nobody can answer on the question which alt-coins will recover, but some alt-coins have more chances
for that, while some don't have any chances for recovery! I hope that now we talk about recovery on their ATH from 2017, and
making new ones?
Crypto-currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum will stay on top, and I don't expect changes there. But we can see changes behind
these two coins, and we probably will see them!
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short suggestion and situation on: June 30, 2020, 11:25:43 AM
From what I see in the current situation, I can understand that it is most convenient to make money online from home !! It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. I thought it would take another month for graduation to end and then I would go out looking for a job but now what I see is that I have to make the house my job! So I'm trying to do something online !! And I think this will be suitable for everyone who does not want to sit !!

Join with altcoin is the best.
Neither bitcoin not altcoins are jobs, they are just currencies so you need to do some work to earn altcoins. Roll Eyes

You can earn money with the skills you have, lot of opportunities are available like freelancing sites, your own startup related to cryptos, or offering any services related to cryptos or for getting paid in cryptos in bitcointalk.

Jrrsparkles you are tottaly right about everything you said. Crypto-currenceis are not the job, you need to work something and
be paid in one of the crypto-currencies.
For every job he needs some set of skills, and if he wish to earn more he need to develop his skills all the time. To try to get
higher rank here on forum and other places. With higher rank and with more skills it's possible to earn nice in crypto-currencies.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I buy cryptocurrency? on: June 30, 2020, 09:45:12 AM
I have a friend who is in crypto-currencies a long time, I buy Bitcoins and Ethereum directly from him with my county currency,
later with some part I buy some alt-coins I like. I invest on monthly basis, from every salary, and I try to work and earn some extra
and that's going good.

426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: June 30, 2020, 07:23:21 AM
You are right nowadays every failed project blame the COVID-19 as a major issue of failing of the project. As every one daily observes the crypto market is not go red in COVID-19 and many good coins are growing slowly.

If you watch TV and read newspaper you will notice that not just crypto-projects blame COVID-19 for everything. Politicians do that,
comapnies that cut their working power, and many others. Many use COVID-19 as an excuse, crypto-projects are just a copy of that.
And can we really blame them? I think some of them had a real problems, but many of them just used virus as an excuse. We can't
point finger in all, it's not alright. Some people had real health problems!
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms with Issues. on: June 29, 2020, 09:34:11 PM
I think this is a good list overall. However in order to not fall victim of these type of scams we have the Gambling section here and I always turn back to that section to check what is going on in different casinos and in particular I check what is going on in the one I maybe tempted to register and open an account. When I check I make sure that all scam accusations are addresses if there are any in the first place and the public feedback is 100% positive for that specific casino.

Swogerino I agree that's good to have lists like this one, many casinos have issues, but I must say that in Gambling section
we have casinos with their ann threads, and casinos that have their signature campaigns. I gamble just on sites from this forum
and I know I am a small time gambler with very low amounts, but I never had any kind of issue with any casino from this forum.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: June 29, 2020, 08:27:08 PM
  • BTC
  • ETH
  • BNB
these three coins have been favorites for a long time, especially bitcoin and ethereum. Well, I quite believe that one of the three coins will become his favorite coin again this season, especially bitcoin. if the price could reach $ 20,000 again, then the world would surely re-highlight it.
You are right. now I also add the BTC that I have from other altcoins. correction occurs with a small value. I will add assets even if small. ETH and BNB indeed have the potential to follow the pump if BTC rises. the three best assets I think for investment.

I agree with both of you Calandra78 and Farma. This 3 coins should be in every crypto-portfolio, and I try to have more of
this coins with my investments. I invest in cheaper coins too, but they are more riskier and who knows will they be profitable
in future or not.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: What if this pandemic persists till the end of the year? on: June 29, 2020, 06:49:44 PM
The middle and poor classes will be affected by this epidemic, and many people will start to suffer due to delayed salaries or job losses.
Many governments will begin to gradually lift the restrictions and the movement will return to life.
I do not rule out that the balance of power will change and that some governments start imposing more taxes against the middle and poor classes.
The gap between these two classes will be reduced.

Anstren I agree with you about one thing, the middle and poor class will be affected, and that's never change. In every bad this
two classes suffer mostly. About reducing the gap between these two classes I don't agree, I have the opposite opinion about this
the gap will be wider. In last 50 years system makes poor people very poor, and lower middle class doesn't exist anymore. Higher
middle class is now a rich class. The gap is wider then ever and we need big changes to reduce that gap.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 29, 2020, 04:32:38 AM
But any use case of this coin? I know it almost the same time when this coin has been launched with bitcoin and litecoin but anybody can explain here what is the usefulness of this coin on the market aside from trading activity? Yes they are just meme but somehow it becomes active on trading and even listed on Binance market which is really a good progress with this project. This exchange only list potential project but why dogecoin is on their radar?
maybe dogecoin has other functions that are better and can be used by traders other than the development of platforms that are not so clear. but many people also use dogecoin and even as you say. Large exchanges also have this coin list.

Junkerr the answer is community. Doge coin have one of the strongest communities. What is the use case of Doge, it's the
same as Bitcoin, you can mine it, you can gamble and trade with Doge coins, you can send money, cheap and fast transactions.
The difference is that there is a lot more Doge coins in circulation, we can't expect higher prices of doge, maybe one day if
Doge becomes more popular and used by people.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 28, 2020, 07:27:28 AM
Ethereum still regarded as the best smart contracts of all time, it's features of accumulating many copycat, many shit projects is based know ethereum network, ethereum is open for all and that's it's mainly primary agenda.
Ethereum markets had been stagnant, dump at the same time gain her stability, I have profited from ethereum after a huge dump. I think ETH 2.0 will definitely escalate the price of the coin in July.

Ethereum 2.0 will affect the price in long-term, July is too early, maybe in a several years. I am in profit as well, but
it's nothing what I expect in a several years from now. When Ethereum 2.0 gets established and fully functional.
We have to be patient and accumulate. I don't like to hurry things, and ti expect miracles to happen over night. Ethereum
will need time to develop and attract more companies and more people.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Lives vs Economy -- sad truth on: June 28, 2020, 05:28:00 AM
In my opinion saving lives is no priority, everyone has the same rights. If your country prioritizes productive people, for economic reasons
it has violated human rights. The way of life of humans should not be like that, but sometimes some countries did do that. In my country
the same, but the difference in priorities in my country is based on social status. If the person rich people are definitely preferred, this is
a sad fact.

BuNga_cute not everyone has the same rights, and not all lives are priority. Some people risk their lives every day on their jobs
and do not recieve big reward for that. Virus is additional risk, but we can put all the people in the same basket. Some people know
how to deal with it, and they have to provide food for their family.
BuNga_cute when we know that rich people are protected, we can say that not all people are in the same situation. Some of us
have to work no matter what!
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: June 27, 2020, 03:03:08 PM
Nice pic, And not gonna lie it's pretty accurate Grin , Because of the WhitePaper is written well, then i can't decide on investing on that coin without doing more research. I tend to look at the people behind the project. Their backgrounds, And if they are basically real and not just stolen identities. so looking at their partners and checking their roadmap then I can decide If it's a good project even just a legit one.

Picture is great, it shows that WhitPaper is just a part of what it's needed for one project to be successful. It;s never one thing
that people focus on, people have to check entire project, from the team members, their idea, WhitePaper, their road map, and
after you consider all factors you can be sure in some project.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: June 27, 2020, 10:33:13 AM
I'm not against of that prediction, I like bitcoin to rise at that level but just like other experts, they cannot be right all the time.
With the price bitcoin been moving this month, it's not impossible it will reach at that level as bitcoin is quite stable now, I mean the support is strong and less dump are happening now. However, I will stay realistic that bitcoin is very unpredictable, if it comes then good but I see an opportunity if it dump as it's time to accumulate again.
exactly, man.
How do people believe their thoughts so easily.
We should be happy that bitcoin could make it through almost decade, whether its predictable or not.
As long as it gives people value of usage - it will fall and rise

You are right Jaspion, as long as people value it it will fall and rise, but over the past years it rising more than it's falling.
And it's Ok to believe that in next years Bitcoin will make new significant rise and set up new bottom, higher than now.
Short-term movements are unpredictable, but in long-term we will see entire crypto-market rising. Bitcoin will lead that
rise as always!
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Movie about SATOSHI Nakamoto on: June 27, 2020, 07:53:51 AM
Actually it is very interesting, if the film about Satoshi Nakamoto is told according to real events. But unfortunately the film maker decides
make a dark comedy story that focuses on telling the NSA to catch and torture Mr. Satoshi for the sake of getting valuable information to
destroy cryptocurrency. Don't over-expect the film, if you don't want to be disappointed. In my opinion just think of this movie as entertainment.

Shasha80 you said it, if the film is told according to real events. I think just few people know what really happen,
and there're many people who take pretend to be Satoshi, some other big names with shady past. I read the whole
article, except people who participate in the movie I didn't find anything about who wrote the story.
This will be good movie for people who don't have connections with crypto-currencies, but for us this can be just
a marketing move by some Bitcoin billionaire! I wonder how much truth will be in the movie?!
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The XRP price is headed for $ 0.24 on: June 26, 2020, 08:44:54 PM
soon Ripple will touch $ 0.24 if Bitcoin is still stuck at the price of $ 9000 and does not go down from now, and also for the price of the Ripple should be able to breakout from falling wedge, I myself still monitor it, because the current condition of Bitcoin is still very volatile

I don't see direct connection between Bitcoin and XRP! XRP can touch $0.24 soon, but what is there for me when I bought
over $1? I know it's my mistake, I expected much more from XRP, but looks like it's struggling to survive.
Can we expect XRP to recover? I hope so, I didn's sell, I wanted to, but I said to myself keep it, what happens will happens,
if it goes to zero alright, if it recover it would be a good thing for me.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life soundtrack for Gamblers? on: June 26, 2020, 07:38:07 PM
That might depend on gamblers taste and what people like to listen when they play. It's also important what kind of atmosphere you would like to get, how to stimulate people and motivate them. I think that music needs to be catchy but easy going and kind of neutral, something that majority of people might feel positive.

I agree with you Bitbunny, it depends on the tase, for me relaxing and neutral music is what I like to hear while I gamble. I have
usually listen some music without words. Chill, ambient, relaxing are tags I am looking for and when I play it I don't pay attention on that.
From recently I don't use YouTube because of their adds. I listen some radios and soundcloud mostly, there are no adds that
move my brain in some moments!
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth. When!? on: June 26, 2020, 05:52:40 PM
Buy them when the price goes below $ 150, and I made a great small investment with it. The current price has increased quite a lot since I bought it and I'm still waiting. Hopefully this year the price can break $ 300 and go up to $ 350-400 again

Luckyflop that would be a short-term prediction, but in long-term I think Ethereum will make a new ATH! I have Ethereum for a long
time, I started buying in early 2017 for 200$, I bought some at 800$. In 2018 I bought at 100$, and from that price I bought couple
more times for higher prices.
I believe that Ethereum can do much more in crypto-market. With so many applications, with DeFi, and soon with Ethereum 2.0
that can happen soon!
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum on: June 26, 2020, 04:15:59 AM
tell me have potential in Elecrtoneum (ETN)?
I don't know about this altcoin but I would suggest if you are just new in this crypto space better to keep yourself from this unheard one and focus on the other that could save you from trouble. Ethereum or any coin that is part in top 10 is better for long term investment.

Guryon_master I can tell you more about ETN, it's the first coin that you could mine with your android. From month ago
they shutted down phone mining, now they have platform for jobs, AntTask. They are around for years and I have a couple
thousand coins. I mined them on my phone!
They are not bad coin, they have a good project, their team works on that project, and their idea is not bad too.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: June 25, 2020, 08:44:21 PM
I didn't forget anything, excuse me, I don't remember that Bitcoin was beaten up. Can you clarify that to me, because I
don't know about what you are talking here.
There's no fight for the first place, Bitcoin is the first place in every meaning and by all terms. Why do you say who ever wins it,
when all other coins are far behind Bitcoin in usage, popularity and searches over the internet?
if talking about ETH heading to the first rank I don't think it will happen. the popularity of bitcoin as you said is still above that of other assets.

I still wait for answer! Imstillthebest should say when Bitcoin was beaten up!
Bitcoin is highe above others. It's not like any other coins is close to Bitcoin in any way, but still people talk about coins that
can replace Bitcoin.
Ethereum is great investment, I put it on top right after Bitcoin, but all other coins are far away from these two. I don't say
things can't change, but those changes will not happen in next 10 years or more. And changes come in some far future it's
good to have some other coins that in some theory can replace this first two.
