I have my last bit of money and I am not sure if I should go for XLM or XRP or just place it in the good old BTC wallet.

I would suggest you to go for Lumen XLM as it has better features and amazing products to deliver I mean both XRP and XLM will be the gamechangers but at this moment XLM is yet to get the expected pump so I would suggest to go with XLM and get benefitted by the pump and if you just do a research already big investors have shown interest in XLM for their upcoming projects. |

As for me, top 2 altcoins to invest today are GiFTO(GTO) and Cardano(ADA).
Cardano(ADAcoin) is something which has been underestimated from long time and i am sure sooner it will be the next Ethreum as this crypto has great features which will make an impact for sure and apart from Cardano i think KIN coin will become next big thing as they already have a product in the market in the name of Kik messenger so i believe those who are investing into it now will earn in fortunes in future. |

All currencies have nice good performance as well, their sometimes other currencies can fall or more raise simply all of these have different categories and valuable.
This year is the year of altcoins and the we are going through lot of corrections eventhough altcoins has given good profits till last week we need to make sure we do not blindly invest into any coin as we need to make sure there is something unique about that particular coin before we invest into it rather than investing just because it costs less. |

sounds difficult to believe, but i will buy $50 of verge, worst case ill lose a couple of bucks.
This is what i exactly did last night that's invested around $70 in Verge since then i have only seen the price dump i think i made a mistake and i will switch it to some better altcoin with better features and professional network where there are no deadline misses and also i will try to reinvest into ripple as it's slowly gaining the momentum again after crazy dump. |

I consider Altcoin to be promising for 2018 as TRX, XEM, WAVES. These coins must be bought for a long time...
I thought the same but I had a longer list which included Ripple and Stellar and yes indeed it gave good amount of profit but if we notice the market situation from last one week it's just dropping down like anything but I bet siacoin will be the future as it is unique and the concept is something which we use in everyday life. |

Definitely the best strategy to profit from crash is to buy it would be dificult to scalp in time like this since the movement of the price is going down. And for those who are holding the best way is to hodl until the coin rebound. That is if the holder sees the project worth holding and have a really active developer developing the products. Seeing coins going up and down, crash and skyrocket is a normal thing in cryptomarket.
While buying coins we should not consider it's cheaper price or popularity but rather we have to check the potential and features of the currency as popularity and lesser price is like a bubble which can burst anytime but features will help it on a longer run and based on longer run we can speculate our profits. |

I think the impossible in trading never feels lose, because every trading there is profit and lose and when you lose right then you will also learn to reduce the possibility to lose.
It's all both gaining and losing in trading but loses can be avoided if we plan well and always have multiple options to cope with lose and convert it into profit hence I don't think we can trade without lose but eventually these loses can be converted into profit by playing the right chores just for example I bought LTC when it was under $80 and sold.it when it reached around $300 and then purchased ripple.when it was here cents and now it has crosses $3 mark so this will compensate for me for the loss which I incurred with Bitcoin. |

I would suggest you to go for both on a 70:30 investment I would suggest you to invest 70% into XLM as it will grow and hit new level and yield more profit because ripple has already reach it's breaking point and it will not be a smart idea to invest into it at this point of time as dump.will.hurt real.bad hence I would suggest to.go for XLU at the moment. |

Won't be surprised if BTC makes another bullrun
It's calm for now and probably it will give us some goosebumps when it started to run a bull again. When it comes to these things we should be optimistic and positive all the time, you invested to bitcoin and what can you expect? If you are thinking that bitcoin will continue to decrease then you are free to sell it out and get another crypto to hold. so as not to panic and not risk all your investments, you can not concentrate all your attention on Bitcoin, but engage in other coins that can be much more promising and more reliable, unlike Bitcoin. Yes if we can control.emotions and stop panic selling and regretting later it's better to stay calm and think in a longer run pump and dump as part of crypto world.but since the value of bitcoin has shot up so high we feel the pinch even for minor fluctuations and it's better to focus on promising altcoins which offers better features |

A lot of money has been pumping altcoins lately, but I think a lot of that money will flow into Bitcoin in the next week or two.
Yes the dump in the value of bitcoin during the last week of December has pumped a huge investment into altcoins like ripple, stellar , NEM which has never happened in the past and as we are already aware there would be an unexpected pump in couple of weeks where eventually all those funds which were transferred from bitcoin to alts will be back to bitcoin. |

Poloniex charges less fee compare to bittrex. But in terms of trading and coins it lacks. Binance is the best option for trading and all. Bitcoin has a fluctuating value, it will grow up and sometime it will crush your money.
Not into bitcoin but let it be any crypto currency the uniqueness about crypto currency is fluctuating value which we can utilize it for our benefit by cashing in during dump and cashing out after a pump to increase the return on investment and I don't think anyone who is using bitcoin for a long time has suffered huge loss but again it's not for everyone at the moment if you are investing then it should be an investment of time and money so that you are actually aware of market situation to make the right move. |

We can not say for sure whether this is going to happen in January, but after a big drop of the Bitcoin, there is always a huge rise. Larger than the previous ones.
But I think it will be difficult until the end of January.
But looking at the last few years I can tell this with confidence that bitcoin will rise like it always does after a dump and we have already noticed the gradual rise in the value of vlbitcoin in last couple of days after the dump and all the panic. |

Yes it's value will.be reduced but only.after reaching a new level and I think ripple will reach $5 and that will be like a new benchmark for ripple.and before we predict any dump we need to understand that ripple.has not even started I mean it's not even a beginning ripple has a long way to.go and surely it will excel and stabilize . |

At present, the bit coin is reduced in price.But this is a situation expected.This price drop does not last long. But 7000 $ does not fall. It will soon reach 20k. Still, the price continues to increase.Currently the bit coin is not the time to sell.
I completely agree. I think we will see the price of 20,000 at the end of January 2018. I agree that bitcoin will not go back to $7k but at the same time it will take more time to reach $20k it cannot be anytime sooner than the month of March because now bitcoin is going through correction and it would take good couple of weeks to recover the lose of value which has been incurred due to panic selling and transaction fee |

Kore and Japan in January will use paying with Ripple if they'll be successful it can affect very good in price and i think if this will be successful I think till January will be approx 5 dollar.
If this will be successful I believe instead of $5 ripple will easily reach $10 or more because this will boost the confidence of new users as well to show that ripple.can be used as real life payment system and there will be more investment and crypto users might covert their bitcoin and other altcoins to ripple which will lead to a huge push. |

With the rate bitcoin is going now, it would be very difficult for it to go to zero. But if it eventually does, it would be as a result of not being able to use it for transactions.
I think bitcoin will never go back to zero and I am just wondering why does even someone past like this when everybody knows the potential of bitcoin and I am sure that bitcoin will be back with a huge pump in upcoming days like it has happened in the past and don't worry it's not the end of bitcoin it's just a fork and festive season so bitcoin transaction are less which is leading to dump in the value. |

I think the reason is pretty obvious. The banks. No matter what we say about banks, but we still need them currently. Most people (especially non crypto people) still trust them more than cryptos. And banks around the globe are seriously considering blockchains as the next step. Out of all the available blockchains, Ripple suits them best. As it is a blockchain, but still centralized enough to maintain control. There is a company with which banks can interact with, rather than no centralized authority for coins like Bitcoin. Even in India, many major banks are testing the Ripple blockchain.
Here we should note that importance is given to ripple blockchain and not the Ripple coin. But obviously the coin benefits from all this. I see a huge demand of Ripple in the coming years as many people who don't invest in cryptos (because of lack of trust in fully decentralized coins), might see Ripple as a better option to enjoy the benefits of both the crypto and non-crypto worlds. I guess all these things lead to the purchase of Ripple.
You just nailed it I have recently converted my funds from litecoin and bitcoin to ripple as ripple looks more stable and can be used by banks as it has been designed for the bankers and it has been on top ten list of crypto currency from a very long time and this is the right time to go for ripple as it's value is increasing with leaps and bounces. |
