NEM has a lot of advantages that puts it ahead of others, but is NEM actually up to the task for a big economy? Can it handle the needs of an entire national economy - banking, regulations, accounting, retirement savings, buying lunch, paying the babysitter? What are some proposed solutions to the "Fork attack"?
I've been paying close attention to this but haven't really seen any proposals on how to fix Ring Signatures so they aren't susceptible to the partial deanonymization that can occur with forks of Monero.
Has anyone proposed solutions?
MoneroV is going to be an issue, but we should prepare and fix this issue before many forks come onto existence.

I've done quite some research before posting this, however, I was unable to find a satisfactory answer.
EOS seems to be everything I would like from a crypto-platform. I have been following the commits on github, the project's radical decisions and the highly ambitious objectives.
There is one thing I do not yet understand; why does not EOS create it's own public genesis of the platform they are creating? I like the idea of having an open sourced platform, it shows the attitude I would want from a community like that. But in the frequently used OS metaphor the creators of some software or OS generally create a vanilla release of their product. If it's open source, hey, please go ahead and create your own flavors. All the better for the community. But other than concurrency and clustering, what's next from EOS after the snapshot?

example: i load 100 MCO coins worth 1000$ on the MCO Card. now i go shopping. meanwhile MCO price goes up or down on exchanges.
is the card now getting everytime i pay somewhere an update of current price from an exchange ?
what when suddenly price goes up 50% so i have 1500$ on the card, do have to pay now extra taxes also ?
is MCO submitting anyone any transactions or data using the MCO card ?
First off, you can choose in the app if you want to use fiat or some crypto. If you choose to use crypto you can pick between different coins. Now whenever you swipe your card one should assume that the price at the time of swiping will be the basis for the deduction of your tokens if you chose not to use fiat. However, there was talk about a credit feature, in which you would be able to buy something and then if the value of your tokens went up by a lot, you'd end up paying less tokens at a later time. So you could technically hedge with multiple tokens to decrease your spending of tokens. Of course this will carry some risk, since your prediction could be off and then you could end up paying more tokens than you would've otherwise. Keep in mind that this is just speculation. I don't know how the credit or invest features of MCO will function. As for your last question, I have no idea what you're asking. Please rephrase? What data are you talking about? Is anyone else having problems with tracking their SPHTX on Blockfolio? i do not able to track in my ios blockfolio. there will be no price updates?
It is because of etherdelta. Their api is down and it is not possible to track any of tokens their listing. They need to get listed on a better exchange i guess  hate etherdelta. sphx listed on cobinhood also but blockfolio does not support cobinhood exchange too. i agree with you, an exchange like binance or bittrex will make positive effect on sphx price. this token deserves better exchanges. |
