It is true that holding bitcoin is very much risky because you do not know when it will fall or increase. We can not guarantee Bitcoin's price movement in the market because no one can control it. I think that traders' opinions and ideas are just speculations and uncertain. That's why there is always panic selling.
The first and foremost risk in holding bitcoin is whenever you are urgent to exchange your bitcoin to other currencies it will take time or its exchanging fees was too high so we want to wait for somedays to get money with our hands. |

What do you say when asked this question from a friend who has only heard its name mentioned a few times in the news and has no clue. I find myself lately taking the easy way out and suggesting google. I would prefer to give a clearer answer, but usually saying something leads to more questions and more confusion.
If someone could point me to a twitter type answer that would inform and twig their curiosity, i think it would be a better outcome.
I also tell them to google it if they want more information. Honestly it's fucking annoying when people that are clueless start making all these questions. It's going to be easy for them to just start doing some research. I tell them that it's a decentralized currency but it's better used as a store of value rather than a currency because it's honestly pretty stupid to spend your BTC on groceries when you know it's going to go up, similarly to how it's stupid to buy groceries with gold. Well, I say you'd go buy whichever is at low currently bitcoin is at a high price now, but it is not wrong to buy bitcoin because I know there is always a high possibility for the price of bitcoin to rise high as it's current price, but if you look at ethereum budget wise it's definitely smart time to buy now.

I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc  Why is it so addictive? I think the problem is you have nothing to do and you find gambling as a pastime whenever you feel bored. That is one of the reasons why I think some people turn to gamble and get addicted. Try to find alternatives to spend your time so you can avoid gambling. Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I use an online wallet, because it is easy to use, and sad cause I don't share my wallet details with anybody. But one thing is for sure, an offline wallet or a paper wallet is the best to store your coins for a long term run. I store my bitcoin in an online wallet, it is very safe and easiest way to use and withdraw my bitcoin quickly. when comparing online and offine wallets, online wallet is better than offline wallet. |
