4201  Other / Meta / Re: Thread removal question on: October 26, 2020, 11:52:22 AM
How an announcement thread fall into rule no. 1? Announcement thread wouldn't consider pointless or zero value post either its scam or not. Doesn't matter no one is interested in an announcement thread, useless they broke forum rules, moderators can't take action. If someone using a bumping service then they are breaking rules and the thread would be trashed. For that, I have been writing PM to moderators about why I believe thread should be trashed. And good thing is, I got positive responses from the moderators. I don't think simply use the report for the whole thread would be effective. Otherwise, you have to report one by one spam post. But it wouldn't trash the main thread IMO.
4202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People's goal should shifting, specially if you are financially responsible on: October 26, 2020, 09:29:59 AM
Till now I believe my brain, I wouldn't dare to invest all my money into the crypto. Of course, I am responsible for my financial status, but it doesn't mean I should put all eggs in one basket. I agree to invest 30% of my total crypto which already has invested. I wouldn't 100% depend on crypto investments. There is a real-life and should have some real-life business. I don't care who predict whatever, bitcoin always runs in its own way.
4203  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] Go-Overt - Bitcoin Mixer 2.0 Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary $40/Week on: October 26, 2020, 07:23:41 AM
1x Hero/Legendary open spot.
4204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Witch is the best coin, XRP OR ETN? on: October 25, 2020, 05:15:53 PM
I hadn't use XRP as payment anywhere, so I have less knowledge about the global payment of XRP. But I used one of the services from ETN and its mobile recharge. Although their KYC is too complicated, but service got instant. A few ETN was in my wallet and I try to recharge my mobile, I was surprised when it succeeded within a second. ETN also offers to pay your utility bill, although that service isn't for worldwide, but mobile recharge allowed for many countries. I was happy to use it since cryptocurrency isn't allowed in my country but still, I can use crypto directly via ETN. Hope they will expand their service more and keep their role in the crypto revolution.
4205  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie Copper member and jr member to be restricted in altcoin bounties section on: October 25, 2020, 05:02:05 PM
But I am only advising to exhaust scammers and fraud people in their monkey business. Aren't you happy if they will get difficulties in their scam activities?
Wrong, you should learn how works bounty section. If your suggestion is to prevent scams then it's not a worthy suggestion. Because you can't prevent anyone to participate in the bounty campaign. Never mind they can't post on that section, if the manager allows them, then they might participate via Google form or in some other way. They might find some alternative way to proof authentication like sign message or whatever. Anyway scam hasn't been moderating by the forum to prevent moderation abuse.

If your suggestions are to prevent spams from the forum then I am with you. By preventing at least Jr. Member from posting on the bounty section would prevent lots of spams. But really a reputed member would spend time reading bounty reports. So I believed who isn't bounty hunters they haven't visiting the bounty section often. Preventing them would be a big change for the forum IMO. But at least something is better than nothing. I have doubts, the admin will not do that.
4206  Other / Meta / Re: Question about being banned... on: October 25, 2020, 04:42:36 PM
Hope you got your answer. I think you know better how many accounts you have and which account has been banned previously. So according to the forum rules although forums allow you to create multiple accounts, if one of your accounts got ban then all of your accounts will be banned. Because forum banning you (the person), not only your account. Selling products on the forum wouldn't be a reason for a ban either it's legit or a scam. But if you break forum rules and sell a few products which haven't been allowed by the forum then you might get a ban. For example rules #17,

17. Trading of goods that are illegal in the seller's or buyer's country is forbidden. [2]
4207  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] ETHx2 Ponzi scheme promising 1% daily return! on: October 25, 2020, 03:39:03 PM
Noticed this user from the trading board, wondering to open scam accusation and popup this thread. This user woke after a long time and start promoting a Ponzi scheme. They just trying to convince investors by smart contract scheme, but really nothing except a scam attempt. Any legit sites wouldn't return 1% daily either in is on a smart contract.

Support flag and left negative feedback.
4208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i post... on: October 24, 2020, 05:38:33 PM
I believe OP got your answer above. But I have two suggestions for you. First of all, you should read the forum rules from the pinned post before start your activities on the forum. If you were read it, then this thread wasn't necessary to create here since the answer is there. It's not only for this forum, wherever you are a newbie, but you should also read the rules or terms & conditions of that platform. So you may avoid a few questions and gain more knowledge.

Second thing is, use the forum search button from the menu bar so that you can get your appropriate answer related to your question. So it will reduce spam and save your time. If in case you fail to find an appropriate answer, then it's good to create a thread.
4209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After a long journey.. on: October 24, 2020, 04:34:29 PM
Congrats mate. This is another thread which has been indicating that rank up isn't impossible. But you have to struggle and spend your time here. I have to admit everyone here wasn't experienced at the beginning of join on this forum including me. Day by day we have been learning and sharing our own knowledge as well. That's how once a day at least we would become a good user.

Keep your contributions to the forum. Best of luck.
4210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos will be holding your PayPal's Bitcoin on: October 24, 2020, 09:32:22 AM
I am assuming PayPal doesn't want to hold bitcoin due to volatility and that's the reason why store into the exchange. Storing bitcoin on a custodial wallet is always risky either it's on PayPal. Who knows if they implement their own custodial or noncustodial wallet for their users. Buying bitcoin on PayPal or via visa/master card and use it on the merchant isn't worth much, at the same time holding BTC on PayPal isn't worthy as well. Rather than better bitcoin hold on the noncustodial wallet. It would be a good move if they allow their user to make deposit and withdrawal, so we can use it on the merchant. Anyway, something is better than nothing, let them do what they want, at least their thought about bitcoin is positive. Because PayPal is the most trusted centralized virtual currency.
4211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC and escrow scam atempt on: October 24, 2020, 02:14:41 AM
@OP, please help us tag this scammer. What you need to do, post a screenshot of your PM where the scammer sends his telegram username. Then make a short video where you have a chat with the scammers (if not yet deleted by the scammers) and upload it on YouTube or somewhere and post the link here. So we can tag the scammer and you may create a flag against him.

It's to notify you that forum PM chat is verifiable by moderators, so faking this isn't worthy at all. Seems the scammers have a few untrusted negative feedback where he had tried the same thing before. So, it's quite important to prevent him.
4212  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I had a discussion with a scammer on: October 23, 2020, 05:29:59 PM
Nothing new, it's a very old method. Often I have been receiving such a message on the telegram and just reporting them. They have been trying to make us fool by a greedy offer. And sadly many innocent greedy peoples falling in their trap who have been trying to become quick rich. We can prevent them simply by just avoiding greedy behavior. Scammers are just getting advantage of our stupidity.

Conclusion, don't deal with people that are not on bitcointalk. (and have not high reputation)
Difficult conclusion. A scam is always a scam either it is on the forum. If someone advertises such as sites on the forum means you have to ignore that user either he is with high reputation or not. You have to use your common sense always everywhere if you really want to keep safe your funds from scammers.
4213  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC and escrow scam atempt on: October 23, 2020, 05:12:25 PM
When you are going to use escrow from the forum then you should keep in mind a few things. First of all do not use escrow via telegram, no matter who has added you on telegram chat. First, verify the escrow via forum PM and ask his telegram username to make easier communication. After that, you should ask to sign the latest message included all the details about the deal because there is a chance to make you fool by using the old sign message which has been done during other escrow. So it's mandatory to ask a sign fresh message only to deal with you.

By the way, here is a list of a few trusted escrow, you may go ahead with what I said above. All payment information should share via forum PM, otherwise, even you can't open a scam accusation.
4214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2020, 04:04:03 PM
I am not sure but I think bitcoin isn't involved in more than 5% of criminal activities. But haters always have been highlighting those crimes happening via Bitcoin payments. Lots of crime happening via fiat payment, some of them are caught and some of them still anonymous. We have seen lately a few criminals caught where involved bitcoin-like KuCoin hacks. But as we know, the main problem they have been getting clean coins from the mixer. Even bitcoin is traceable, but we are hopeless when they mixed coins. Criminals wouldn't be revealed unless regulate mixer, which is unlikely to happen. Criminals just getting advantage of bitcoin decentralization.
4215  Economy / Speculation / Re: My 'vast' BTC hodl on PayPal on: October 23, 2020, 09:22:47 AM
As we know PayPal has a chargeback issue. Since you bought BTC via PayPal account, I am a little curious to know if there is still a chargeback (dispute) option for crypto when you are using crypto PayPal to PayPal. PayPal also has not allowed us to create account from my country. So I can't read many details. I had opened an account when I was abroad, but unable to do KYC due to country restrictions. If chargeback exists even for the crypto off-chain transaction then I am not encouraged to hold cryptocurrency in a PayPal account.
4216  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: October 23, 2020, 06:33:55 AM
Guys, can we please avoid off-topic discussion on this thread that isn't related to the Best_Change Signature campaign? Only the application of participants and discussion about post count, avatar, signature, and payment issue discussion would be admirable.

The manager should report off-topic discussion to the moderators.
4217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 22, 2020, 05:50:45 PM
If PayPal does not allow to transfer of bitcoin in off PayPal means the transaction will be between PayPal to PayPal. So the transaction will not broadcast into the blockchain. Here is the real concern, because of chargeback. It would some internal algorithm inside PayPal for off-chain transactions which is possible chargeback by PayPal. Chargeback will hit the decentralized system and it wouldn't adopt bitcoin in any way. PayPal would keep their role in bitcoin adoption if they allow both on-chain & off-chain transaction. Also, I am worried about fees as well, but not sure how about their terms regarding overall fees.
4218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies guide on: October 22, 2020, 04:24:44 PM
Don't feed on this thread. At least I am not gonna do it. I am pretty sure you have multiple accounts or you are an account farmer. I have seen on a few marketplaces who have been selling Jr. rank account, I am not telling you are doing that. But your post is quite suspicious. I have been encouraging newbies to always contribute on the forum, of course, those are real newbies.

Anyway, you should change your posting behavior. Before guide others, you should learn first that you shouldn't make a repeat post. Because such a thread has been created many times. Just need to use the forum search button before making a new post.
4219  Economy / Reputation / Re: May I get into any troubles by sending trust feedback? on: October 22, 2020, 02:21:12 PM
I can't recall the quote, but the admin is discouraging to leave feedback for spammers. That's the moderator's duty to prevent spam from the forum, shouldn't moderate spams by trust system. Just report to moderators if someone has been posting spams, suspicious links with malware. But if you think someone posting something like a scam and you believe there is a chance of loss funds then better to open a thread against that user. So you will have a reference link and you will get opinions from other users. Because when you are leaving feedback then you should add valid reference links.

There isn't a major issue with your feedback, but continuously leaving false feedback then DT members would distrust you if they think your feedbacks are incorrect.
4220  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have been linked with a lot of accounts here on: October 22, 2020, 06:51:52 AM
This isn't a problem at all, who told us we can't trade with forum users? I have been selling my earning to my local resellers, how can I make sure he isn't on the forum or he isn't in the same campaign I am doing now? A transaction between each other only wouldn't prove an alt account. There should be more strong evidence like posting the same BTC address, the same social media accounts, and so on. Saving forum PM wouldn't prove anything about the alt account. Because alt account could send PM to each other. But yes, PM would help to if incase someone deny to return your lent amount or exchange amount.
