More like capitalits exploited the new technology and the workers.

Or maybe not.

And if such capitalists make a nice cartel then you are forced to buy such products.

Capitalism= the investor want as more profit as possible.

Yep and having a profitable service is the most charitable thing you can for society. If you're making massive legitimate profit, you have to be bringing an equivalent value to society. It's a beautiful thing.
Or maybe not. How are the two things related?
If you're not bringing value, you're stealing. Theft can only be enabled by force. Effective force in our current world is limited to the state.
If you are making profit then you have still space for more value in your product BUT you don't do it to have more profit.

Bitcoin received, still waiting for namecoins. Oh well i'm in no hurry, and i see things are working, so it's fine.
4207  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to control Namecoind.exe on: October 11, 2011, 03:13:57 PM
No need to buy anything.

If you want to mine namecoins you need a miner like guiminer, not the namecoin client (like for mining bitcoins, you don't need the bitcoin client!)

The namecoin client is of course required if you want to have an address to send the namecoins you mine.

As for bitcoin, you need to make sure you downloaded ALL the blocks before checking the balance.

As for domains well, that's WHY namecoins exist, it can be used to get a domain that cannot be taken down, since it exist in the blockchain. So no government, censor, or laws can obscure it. Of course you don't have to use that, just consider namecoins like bitcoin and you are fine.

People using a non reversable currency and then asking their bitcoins back->so much fail.

If you want chargebacks, go back to fiat monet  Cheesy
4209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: With no taxes, what about firestations and garbage service? on: October 11, 2011, 01:30:19 PM
hint: natural monopolies such as water, power and gas are generally better run by the government since they're marginally more accountable than a corporation doing it (see: turned out the 6 largest british gas providers were in collusion with eachother to put up gas prices by 30% for the sake of earning more money).

As for fire services and suchlike I'd rather have the government running the fire service as a non-profit than have a company using it to get all the money they can. It's that sorta attitude that leads to a load of firemen standing outside your house going "awfully flammable building this. could go up like a bonfire with just one dropped cigerette butt, know what I'm saying?"

I totally quote you.

Mh... today and yesterday i mined something and it seems the pool found blocks both in bitcoin and namecoin. And of course the worker now says 0 shares for both of them.

My question is, where did the bitcoin and namecoins mined went? It still says

Balance: 0.00000000 NMC
Balance: 0.00000000 BTC

edit: i have to wait for moar confirmations?

Yes but it's not about the monitor, it's about game physics glitches and fps.
4213  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why merged mining started at block 19200? on: October 10, 2011, 09:14:26 PM
Oh thank you

4214  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: WHy do people only buy ATIcards when NVIDA is somuch better? on: October 10, 2011, 09:02:53 PM
It seems on some game (like quake 3 and maybe some cod) if you have like 333 fps you can do more things, jump more or something like that.....
4215  Bitcoin / Mining / Why merged mining started at block 19200? on: October 10, 2011, 08:34:09 PM
Any particular reason?
4216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs -- who are the players? on: October 10, 2011, 07:53:43 PM
I find the ATMs a good idea. They allow you to buy bitcoins very easily and without troubles. Buying them now imply using an exchange, send money to another banks, set up accounts etc etc... i am pretty sure this discourage a lot of people.

With two smart phones, easy enough to exchange cash for bitcoins/bitcoins for cash with someone. Eliminates the up-front cost of an ATM and the operational costs. Also eliminates the problem of thieves putting a skimming device on the ATM.
True but you have to find and meet someone, while with an ATM you just go and buy bitcoins...
4217  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Merged Mining is here! PPS for NMC and BTC enabled [20+ GHs] on: October 10, 2011, 07:48:14 PM
Started merged mining here today!
Yep 2 for 1!  mine 2 block chains for with one miner.  You should use PPS that way I take all the risk but it's up to you.
I think it's the same in the long term, right?

So far everything is fine, i'm over 2000 shares and it says 0 stale (if it's true it's very good)
4218  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Merged Mining is NOT ready and should be stopped until it is on: October 10, 2011, 07:41:04 PM
Who cares about "big pools"? I only care about my profit. It's not hard to check what my profit should be and then check if i really have that profit. So far, i have that profit.

So again, who cares about "big pools"? As far as i gain bitcoin and namecoin, it is working for me.

4219  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: WHy do people only buy ATIcards when NVIDA is somuch better? on: October 10, 2011, 07:39:43 PM
I had an ATI 1900, no problems.

Then had an ATI 3870, no problems.

Now i have an ATI 6950, once more no problems at all.

Everything work fine. All games, everything.
4220  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Merged Mining is NOT ready and should be stopped until it is on: October 10, 2011, 07:15:03 PM
Well so far it seems to work...

The only risk i see is that you can risk to lose your work on that pool but as long as you accept that risk, i think it's fine
