4201  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoin address with 31 characters on: June 23, 2020, 04:16:45 AM
Usually, most addresses are formed with 34 characters but today from this post- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257277.msg54667420#msg54667420, I knew that there is one address with 31 characters. After that, I searched on web and got that an address can be even 26 characters.
When an address can be shorter and how is it possible to generate a shorter address?
4202  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Make it just a little more difficult to create a new account. on: June 23, 2020, 04:01:18 AM
I do not know what is the purpose of allowing any email which may not exist in registration process but it may be one of the reason of allowing anonymous details.
But if the registration process get difficult, I think we would loss potential user too. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of junk account, they are treated as per. But for getting rid of them, why would we make the process harder for the potential users?
4203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not be deceived by sending PM. on: June 23, 2020, 03:46:22 AM
It's very important to verify who are you dealing with and what are you going to do. This triangle scam is so ommon in real life, I have seen a few but it's new here in this forum. I have seen a lot of impersonator but never seen this case.
Make sure to PM in bitcointalk and share all the details what you are giving and what you are receiving. This will make sure you are not be deceiving.
4204  Other / Archival / Re: [mohfw Bangladesh] vulnerable to XSS on: June 22, 2020, 02:21:47 AM
Hi, thank you for the heads up.
I'm in contact with cyber 71 facebook group and I believe through that, I can bring the issue to the eye of the authority. I have no idea what's happening here also, I have seen your other bug reporting of stake. Thank you again.
4205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to accumulate activity? on: June 22, 2020, 02:06:59 AM
There's no other way you can get activiry other than posting. As above said, you will get 14 activity maximum in a 14 day activity period. On the other hand, you need merit along with activity to get higher rank. You can check this thread to learn more- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0
4206  Other / Meta / Re: Trust System on: June 22, 2020, 02:03:15 AM
I just want to say you both "Trust" anf "Feedback" are very different here, learn the basic guideline made by LoyceV- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191802.0
Feedback system is used to continue dealings in the forum in a proper way so that people can get rid of scammers (not guaranteed). When you receive a negative feedback, people will not conduct deal without escrow. However, positive feedback does not guarantee any good. Use escrow all the time.
4207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 21, 2020, 10:52:16 AM
We have not only Mortaza some other Bangladesh players also test positive which is really bad for them https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/29337870/mashrafe-mortaza-tests-positive-covid-19
True but both the others player are not from so known. Aside from Masrafee, Nafis Iqbal who contributed his maiden century toward Bangladesh test series win (brother of Tamim Iqbal) and Nazmul Islam who played couple of matches for Bangladesh. However, that's a big worry for the team and the nation as whole.
4208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: June 21, 2020, 10:39:48 AM
There's no doubt that Binance is the best centralized kind of exchange currently. So, the ranking is okay. But if with being less reputed exchange, they used to rank Binance in top, that would be manipulation. However, I would not surprise at that even because CMC is aquired by them and it's their choice what to do.
4209  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: June 21, 2020, 02:15:25 AM
We dont know on whats the true motive but building up an another crypto-based forum would most likely trying out to compete with this forum.
No, man. They know competing with this forum will not work. None of the crypto forun can reacg such position ever you know. The goal of their forum is to attract more newbies in yobit, or getting new customers and promoting their shitcoin for free. Most of the cryptotalk users are people looking for earning without investment.
I will not surprise if I see their token is being huge pumped, because this way they will be able to attract more users to their forum.
4210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Signature Campaigns on: June 20, 2020, 09:36:46 AM
What's wrong with your hosting, I can not access the website? It says, "This account has been suspended." I think there's something with your hosting account. Are you using any free hosting?

4211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam elmanchez on: June 20, 2020, 08:29:06 AM
Scammers are getting very creative Shocked
Surprised to such scam trick, wondering if elmanchez himself doing the trick (just a guess). The story is not enough proving that elmanchez was trick. There's someone playing the game behind, may be elmanchez or may be OP himself did the trick.
I have been contacted by a few people through telegram long ago and I asked everyone to verify through bitcointalk, lucky that I was not scammed.
4212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 04:12:49 AM
There is option for cover the volatility like Bitpay and in futyre more option may come. I do not think that will be an issue in future to be resistance in Bitcoin to be used to buy food and groceries. I just read this, FED claiming Bitcoin as another form of fiat- https://www.coindesk.com/is-bitcoin-fiat-new-york-federal-reserve
4213  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2020 Q2) on: June 20, 2020, 03:34:55 AM

Btcltc887708 and Samali887708 has used the same ETH address in bounty. They are certainly alt account. Samali887708 and you also used the same ETH address. So, all three accounts are alt account. Read this post attentively- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.msg54558577#msg54558577
4214  Other / Meta / Re: Allowing NEWBIES to keep flooding and handling scam projects On Bitcointalk on: June 20, 2020, 03:07:25 AM
Am not against projects been handled by newbies, but in a clear sense there should be where it is indicated that so so and so project gave them the go ahead. And for your information we have newbies too who are getting into Bitcointalk forum newly and mind you they don't really know their way around here what if they become an example of being scammed. This is for example if am to back out and never to talk about this.
Other than spam, almost nothing is moderated, not even scam is moderated. Check above replies. If theymos is to give them restrictions to go ahead, there will be a lot of mess etc. If a newbie comes here and get scammed by the scam bounty, that will be the newbies fault because they should know what they are going to do. And with a sole purpose of bounty hunting, no one should either join here.

4217  Other / Meta / Re: ask, help, Why is the account banned on: June 19, 2020, 01:44:18 AM
yes, you're right, I didn't read the forum rules, right now I can't do anything else, but if I have something to do, please let me know
You, the person behind the accounts are banned from the forum. Kindly do not use the forum anymore. That will be counted as ban evasion. Nothing else you can do. Try to find a life outside the forum.
4218  Other / Meta / Re: Allowing NEWBIES to keep flooding and handling scam projects On Bitcointalk on: June 18, 2020, 05:36:32 AM
1. Can't a strict rule come into play that newbies are not allowed to make Bounty post on this forum other than well-known Bounty Manager's that has Been on bitcointalk for a long time: e.g WAPINTER, BOUNTY DETECTIVE and so many of them you know.
If project choose to handle the job by a newbie, then what's problem of you? Avoid the bounties which are managed by them. It's we people who are feeding them to launch more.
It's none of forum issue. You can move it to altcoin service discussion.
4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Coins Discussion on: June 18, 2020, 04:31:13 AM
Apart from the point mentioned by zasad, I think another reason is in Monero, privacy is forced. There is no way of doing transparent tx in Monero but with Zcash and other privacy coin, so far the privacy is optional.
And yeah I agree that at some point privacy coins will no longer be listed in exchanges, however, if they have acceptance in various marketplace for example in darkweb, I do not think exchange delisting will be an issue.
4220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Clipper on: June 18, 2020, 03:56:51 AM
Dude may I know how fraudsters able to force their victims to download it? Are bitcoin clippers disguised as not a harmful software or can be just hidden within the softwares which can be founded anywhere in the internet?
They are kind of malware which get access of your copy/paste. You don't need to download them directly. They stay on different app, software in disguise. You will be asked to download a necessary software or app for yourself but the malware will be there in disguise and change your copied address into hacker address.
