4201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2021, 07:52:39 AM
It is simply a combination between arrogance and ignorance and nothing else...

Let's say you know something about a topic and someone else does not know about it, then they will be jealous and they will go into a defensive state, where they hide their insecurities and simply dismiss your interest or even attack it. The need to be right or to be superior in knowledge, override their thinking to explore new ideas.

It is easier to dismiss the "unknown", than to take the effort to research or explore it.... because people will always try to take the easy route.

Also, people are bombarded with scams and cons on a daily basis and the norm is, if it is too good to be true.. it simply is a scam. (I have seen experiments where cash was put on a table and a poster saying "Free Cash" was placed beside it... and 90% of people walked past it, because they did not trust that something can be FREE with no strings attached.  Roll Eyes

Now tell someone that you made 800% profit on your Crypto currency investment and the immediate response will be that it was illegal or that it was some kind of scam.  Sad
4202  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-05-21] Goldman Sachs Reconsiders, Calls Bitcoin a Legitimate Asset Class on: May 26, 2021, 07:03:15 AM
Well, if you can believe the things going around in Social media platforms, then people are saying that Warren Buffett sold his interest in all the Banks that he was invested in and then re-invested that money into Goldman Sachs. (Why would a giant like him do something like that, if he did not have some insider information?)

Goldman Sachs has been a thorn in Bitcoin's flesh for years and a sudden turnaround like this, just mean that something is going to happen soon and we should not be caught with our pants at our feet. (Buy Low & Hoard & Sell High)  Wink
4203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin crash an opportunity to enter the market? on: May 26, 2021, 05:55:23 AM
When I got into Crypto currencies, people repeated this mantra over and over again... "Buy Low & Sell High" and I took their advice. The end result was a 800% profit on my initial investment. So divide that into the 4 years that it took to make that profit and you end up with 200% yearly profit on my investment... (Show me an legal inflation killer investment that yields 200% profit in a year and I will also invest in that)

What I have experienced in my 8 years in Crypto currencies is this.... "Crypto is not a Get Rich Quick scheme... you Buy low... hoard ... Sell for a profit when it spike" ...then rinse & repeat.  Cool
4204  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➡️CasinoAdrenaline.com⬅️ 🔥 FS NO DEPOSIT 🎰 CRYPTO CASINO ✅ INSTANT PAYOUTS🍀⚡ on: May 25, 2021, 04:27:25 PM
I think this is a bit sneaky... " Minimum Deposit of 20 EUR / CAD, ZAR 300, 0.05 BCH, 0.05 ETH, 0.1 LTC, 5,000 DOGE, or 1 mBTC must be made to claim the bonus. " ... because I did not see it at the start.

A person will possibly never get a profit from the deposit bonus with a wagering requirement of 50x on the Bonus.. but I guess that is why the rollover requirements are there... right.  Roll Eyes

Was still an enjoyable experience.  Wink
4205  Economy / Gambling / Re: online casino software on: May 25, 2021, 12:52:22 PM
So your name is actually a combination between Slot and Aggregator .. right? An Aggregator Model is a networking E-commerce business model where a firm, known as an Aggregator, collects (or aggregates) data pertaining to goods and/or services offered by several competing websites or application software (commonly known as apps) and displays it on its own website or application software. Source : https://thebusinessprofessor.com/lesson/aggregator-model-definition/

So what you are doing is combining Slot related resources from 3rd party providers and assisting "new" sites to implement it.. right? You do not develop any software?
4206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: May 25, 2021, 11:49:00 AM
I have received a small Birthday gift as a VIP member from Stake.com ...but remember that Birthday was for the account creation date and not my actual Birthday date. In Eddie's (co-owner of Stake.com) Saturday streaming session, he mentioned that Stake will be considering ..giving a Birthday gift to people when it is their actual Birthday, but it will only be applicable to people who verified their account.

This way, they will know your actual Birth date, because you provided a copy of your ID document. It will happen in the next couple of months, so I am looking forward to this feature.  Wink
4207  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is our last hope for financial independence - John McAfee on: May 25, 2021, 06:49:36 AM
John McAfee's predictions is purely based on the drug he is doing at the time when he post his tweet or the amount of money he is offered to make that tweet. He was exposed a few years ago, that he will promote any project ..if he gets paid for it. (So his credibility in the Crypto community has been destroyed)  Roll Eyes

Also, the documentary "Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee" that was aired back in 2016.... ultimately thrashed his image and credibility, so people do not take him seriously anymore.  Tongue
4208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it so bad that Elon and Saylor are talking with miners about clean energy on: May 25, 2021, 05:27:02 AM
Do you think for one moment that those people really care about the Bitcoin mining energy consumption and footprint? My guess is that his marketing team have realized that millions of people (potential customers for their products) ..have been burnt by Elon Musk's reckless social media activities and all of this is done in a publicity stunt to repair the damage that was done.

Elon Musk's tweet was the trigger for a almost 40% drop in the Bitcoin price and also a domino affect on the Alt coin market and Crypto traders will look for someone to blame and Elon Musk is one of those targets for their anger.  Roll Eyes

I for one, will never buy any Tesla or Powerwall after this fiasco, because Elon Musk is treating Crypto currencies as his playground and he is throwing his wealth at it to manipulate the prices.  Angry
4209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unaddressed Bitcoin FUD on: May 24, 2021, 11:14:35 AM
I've been trying to educate myself on Bitcoin and there are a few issues I'd like to understand more about. Not looking for hopium or to create additional FUD, would appreciate just a level headed discussion.

1. What would be the implications of governments banning trading on crypto exchanges?
2. If all governments coordinated to ban crypto trading on exchanges, would Bitcoin survive? What is stopping governments from doing this?
3. If Bitcoin does not succeed as a global payment solution, how likely is it to still be a store of value?

1. Decentralized Exchanges that cannot be taken down (Bittorrent) will take it's place.
2. People will shift away from centralized Exchanges and trade on decentralized exchanges. Government know, they get ZERO taxes from decentralized trading platforms.
3. As long as there are a demand (legal or illegal) for Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, it will have a value. (As a payment or a Commodity)

I would welcome it if they banned it, because I currently have to pay more than 20% Capital gains on all the Crypto currencies that I have sold in the past. (Underground markets will flourish and you will also not pay VAT)  Wink Wink Wink Wink
4210  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-05-22] Hong Kong to restrict crypto exchanges to professional investors on: May 24, 2021, 07:25:04 AM
They are forcing people to move to "underground" markets and for developers to create more decentralized solutions for people to trade Crypto currencies online. The governments want to protect the old Financial system that are fully regulated and these financial institutions are the driving force behind these actions.

The people in the current financial system, like brokers and financial advisors (middle man) are suffering now, because the ordinary person on the ground are bypassing them and trading on their own. They are losing out on commissions and advisory and consultant fees, so they will complain if they are simply ignored.
4211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China takeover Bitcoin network? on: May 24, 2021, 05:54:06 AM
OP, You are obsessed with China ..... and it is not a issue at all.

Yes, ASIC chips that are used for mining are manufactured in China, but a lot of those chips are exported to other countries. There are massive mining farms in Iceland and other countries too, so all mining are not located in China.

The Chinese government can seize all the mining equipment in China and it will not have an drastic impact on the security of Bitcoin. (Doing a 51% attack on Bitcoin is almost impossible now, because it requires a huge amount of hashing power ...and even if they succeed.. people will shift to other Pools to protect Bitcoin.)

After their first double spend, developers will make some changes (possibly a hard fork) to spoil their attack (That was something Gavin Andreson said, when he was still lead developer of Bitcoin) ... or people will simply shift to another Alt coin or hard fork to another new coin.

It will cost them an awful amount of money to sustain an attack like this, so I cannot see that this will continue for more than one day.  Roll Eyes

Bitcasino.io

Once again a nice selection of new games was added to one of my favorite casinos.  Wink  I think "Gonzo's Treasure Hunt - Live" might push me to buy a Virtual Reality Headset.. because this one is the first Live dealer game that can be played with a virtual reality headset.  Grin

I stirred some ingredients in the "Cauldron" Slot, but I came up with a empty wallet... unfortunately for me that one did not pay. (Strange, because the RTP for this one is, 96.04%..... but I had a good win before I started playing this Slot)

Keep up the good work.. looking forward to some more good releases.  Wink

4213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tweeting Power gone on: May 23, 2021, 06:56:20 AM
We are just going to see a repeat of the "John McAfee" tweet scenario, where people followed his social media in the beginning and then started to realize what a a$$hole he really was. The guy was being paid to shill for certain startups and some new coins and it was later exposed. (Also a lot of his other scandals came out and he became irrelevant)

Elon Musk are making more enemies now, than people who actually benefited from his tweets. (The early Shiba coiners and DogeCoin crowd)  Roll Eyes
4214  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC Chair Says a Lot of Crypto Tokens Are Securities on: May 22, 2021, 10:45:35 AM
In the United States, a security is a tradable financial asset of any kind. Securities are broadly categorized into:

~   debt securities (e.g., banknotes, bonds, and debentures)
~   equity securities (e.g., common stocks)
~   derivatives (e.g., forwards, futures, options, and swaps)

Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_(finance)

Securities are the traditional way that commercial enterprises use to raise new capital. So the question is... Who is the issuer of tokens and did they create this to raise new capital for their company or business? Can Crypto currencies be defined as a debt securities and/or equities ... The answer is no.

Governments are looking for reasons to stop the trading of something that are not regulated and something that can be regulated, but quickly circumvented by simply pushing this underground. (Dark markets and P2P trades)  Grin Grin
4215  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 22, 2021, 09:27:17 AM
There is something on Freebitco.in that are triggering my Anti-virus to report this :

Type: Contains adware, auto-dialers, legitimate software that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or personal data
Name: not-a-virus:HEUR:AdWare.Script.Pusher.gen
Precision: Partially
Threat level: Medium
Object type: File
Object name: pushpad.js
Object path: https://pushpad.xyz
Reason: Expert analysis
Databases release date: Today, 2021/05/22 08:55:00 AM

I have done a full re-do on my computer, because of a recent harddrive crash and re-installed everything onto a brand new harddrive and I still get this error when I open Freebitco.in. (I get zero alerts from any other website and a full scan shows that my computer is virus free)

Any idea what this is?
4216  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: May 22, 2021, 09:04:35 AM
Dude, we not in a Bear market.. we are being sabotaged by a group of Chinese with a vengeance against one of their rival Whales. Also a Chinese government with a hidden agenda, namely to sabotage all other Crypto currencies.. in favor of the "soon to be released" Yuan coin.

This was a strategic move from the Chinese government and a couple of whales to seriously damage Bitcoin's price. I hope the people who are buying those coins that was dumped by these people, will hold onto them ...to keep them out of the people's hands that wants to manipulate Bitcoin's price.  Angry Angry
4217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 22, 2021, 08:20:10 AM
I have to say, I recently went to a "Brick n Mortar" casino with a friend of mine that has not gambled there before and the only thing they wanted from him to register.. was his ID card. They did not ask for "Proof of Adress" and "Social security" and "Selfie with ID" and "Bank statements" like some of these other sites.

So I cannot see why these online casinos has to require all of that information to sign you up to play and to withdraw.  Roll Eyes  I watermark my documents with the name of the site, where I signed up.. so that I can track where the source documents was acquired, in case it was used to register somewhere else.  Wink
4218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More China Craziness - "Cracking done on mining" on: May 22, 2021, 06:21:44 AM
Let me make a quick prediction, so that this can be put in perspective for the people that does not know what is going on. The Chinese government has been talking about their own Digital currency for years now and I think that coin might be close to completion now, so what do they have to do, before they launch that coin? ===> They have to eliminate their competition and guess who is their biggest competition... Bitcoin!

Look out for the Yuan Coin in the near future, because it is going to be the only digital coin that will be allowed in China.  Roll Eyes
4219  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Truth about money economy and Investment on: May 21, 2021, 08:01:23 AM
If You Ain't Go to harvard or yale or You dont Work one of those harvard yale guys.
Then You Don't Know how the stocks work.
You Don't Know how the banks works
You Don't Know nothing real about Investment s.
U Don't Know how money world works.
U Think You know... But really is.
You been learning Some useless crap You cant fight against anyone in Financial world who Got real knowledge.
You might just be the data entry processor in the office but u Ain't husle.
And You been teached purposly the useless crap.

You need Only know few major things.
Once You know those u measure Everything by them.

I have great knowledge just thnx to my life never been in school.

That's how it is.  Sure no body Don't Tell You guys this:)

Yall Know how it is. Smiley

The other thing that nobody talks about is the fact that "Insider" knowledge are shared between the wealthy elite and their top financial advisors to give them a edge over everyone else. So people like Warren Buffett and his circle jerk friends ..will know about future events and new technologies and their launch dates... well in advance, before these announcements reach the general public.

So, what do they do with that knowledge... well, it is easy.... they buy the shares of that company before the rush happens and then when the rest of the people starts buying, the price goes up and the early worms ..gets the profits.  Angry

The wealthy elite look out for each other and they make sure the "big" investment secrets stays between them. You can study at Yale or Havard ..but you need to get into the "circle of friends" to get the insider knowledge before the rest.
4220  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-05-08] Bitcoin’s dirty little secret: It’s not easy being green on: May 21, 2021, 07:04:26 AM
It must be nice to just cherry pick information to serve a specific agenda ... and in this case, a single Chinese mining operation near a Coal energy plant are used, but what they do not tell you is that China is the worlds largest producer of hydro power in the world and that many of the large Bitcoin mining farms are also strategically situated near these plants.

Source : https://www.statista.com/statistics/265570/top-countries-by-hydropower-consumption/

So let's give all the information when we talk about power usage for mining and the FUD that are being distributed by poorly researched articles that are posted by mainstream media with hidden agendas.  Roll Eyes
