i have a feeling this curious low-volume "breakout" has something to do with the fact that we have not broken out of the triangle consolidation pattern on gox yet.
gox got pushed out of the triangle, too now. Are we seeing volume pick up accordingly? regarding those fibonacci retractment levels I posted 2 or pages back...  (bitfinex in this case) next stop would be 905 (bfx/stamp), which would put gox around $1000. So I'm not sure we'd stop there. If volume confirms this move, we might just breeze through 1000 on gox. |

Good support and resistance, both bulls and bears are pretty quiet. I call another couple of days of going sideways, although all it would take is one whale to kick things off, in either direction.
Yeah, definitely looks like we'll trade in that channel for a while. Yawn. On the other hand: just when it gets excrutiatingly boring, bitcoin can surprise! Looks like gox is slowly but surely running out of buy-orders compared to sell-orders.. but we never know.. maybe the resistance band is shifted downwards during the weekend. Not sure what will happen, but I'm quite sure something will happen before monday. (either >850 or <750 bitstamp). |

Leider sind die deutschen ja fuer ihren vorrauseilenden Gehorsam bekannt. Seit vielen Hundert Jahren...steckt wohl zu tief drinnen in der Mentalitaet.
Dann bin ich wohl ein "schlechtes" Exemplar. Mir haben schon vor langer Zeit die Lehrer im Zeugnis bescheinigt, dass ich "Probleme mit Autoritäten" habe. Hervorragende Voraussetzung für ein freies und erfolgreiches Leben. |

Wenn die Leute jetzt erstmal anfangen Häuser und Autos bei Overstock für ihre Coins zu kaufen, kann sich das schnell ändern. Nach dem letzten Bitcoin Fryday gabs einen massiven Einbruch, wohl auch weil die Händler ausgecasht haben. Das meinte zumindest S3052. Ist natürlich nur eine Theorie, aber ich fand sie gar nicht so doof. Die Börsen sind halt für den Handel noch sehr dünn mit FIAT ausgestattet. Der Preis ist hoch solange keine neuen Coins auf den Börsen aufschlagen. Es gibt ja momentan auch keinen wirklichen Geldkreislauf. Die meiste Zeit wird nur gekauft und das Angebot ist sehr begrenzt (16kBTC im Orderbook auf Bitstamp z.B.). Es gibt (noch) kaum Händler die verkaufen. Overstock ist da schon ein sehr fetter Brocken und Bitpay arbeitet meines Wissens nur mit den Westbörsen zusammen und da wohl hauptsächlich mit Bitstamp. Da lagern jetzt gerademal 17 Millionen im Orderbook. Bin mal gespannt, was Overstook macht, wenn Satoshi und andere da zum aktuellen Kurs auf Einkaufstour gehen. Der könnte denen ja den ganzen Laden leer kaufen und sie bekämen über die Börsen nur einen Bruchteil des Gegenwertes in FIAT wieder rein. Wahrscheinlich ziehen sie ab einem gewissen Volumen die Reißleine. overstock hat 'nen deal mit coinbase, nicht bitpay. |

zB Stamp2Gox. worunter fällt das, auch Kursgewinn?
Gewinne durch private Veräußerungsgeschäfte. Sagen wir du kaufst 1 BTC auf bitstamp für €820, dann verkaufst du ihn 2 Stunden später wieder auf mtGox für €910. => Gewinn €90 (minus trading fees). |

Das hängt erstens von deinem persönlichen Steuersatz ab und ist zweitens völlig egal, denn hast keine Wahl. Es ist ein privates Veräußerungsgeschäft.
Warum das so ist, Quellen und alle weiteren Hintergründe stehen alle in diesem Thread, einfach mal von Anfang an durchlesen.
Ich denke nicht, dass man das so pauschal sagen kann. Die Finanzämter sind bei der Angelegenheit momentan ohnehin zu überfordert. Zumindest für 2013 weiß niemand was Bestimmtes und sie werden das akzeptieren was man in die EStErklärung einträgt. Bei einem Veräußerungsgeschäft erhöht sich mein zu versteuerndes Einkommen um den Betrag der Veräußerungserlöse? ja Gewinn = Veräusserungserlös - Anschaffungspreis - Anschaffungsnebenkosten - Veräußerungsnebenkosten |
