4201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 13, 2021, 07:42:52 PM
Seems like it totally makes sense. If people send you useless and valueless stuff that has absolutely no way to be used at all, and it worths a lot of money for some reason? You end up selling it right away. If people gave me $10 worth of shibu, I would have sold it as well, anything higher I would have sold even more, as long as it was more than what the price of gas fee at that moment was I would have sold anything above that to make a profit.

Long story short vitalik is not really forced to keep those coins just because it was given to him, if you gave it to him that means that you gave it to him, so it is all his, and he can do anything he wants with it, he could buy more or sell or do whatever. This was basically a marketing move by these memecoins to get his attention, but it obviously backfired by a big margin and now they are complaining about it.
4202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is moonmoon a good coin on: May 13, 2021, 06:50:49 PM
How do people really find these kinds of things? I mean I get that some people jump into these type of things because they are increasing a lot faster than other stuff, but when you are a low market cap token, getting 244k would make it go up. If you put in 244k into bnb or eth right now it wouldn't even budge a bit, if you did that to bitcoin it wouldn't even be found in the history because of all the bigger numbers that happen constantly.

Long story short I believe these low market cap things are not "gems" that people think they are, it is centralized with how much the whales put into it and that is the problem. If the marketcap is very low, and some guy buys 244k of it that means that guy decides on the price, why would that be a good thing? I mean he could easily sell it just like how he bought it and just like how he increased it, he could drop it as well.
4203  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: May 13, 2021, 06:12:45 PM
when there are free spins what you have to do is be very lucky to win, in fact I think that for slots you have to make micro bets and play for a long time, make many plays until you get the one that explodes and with considerable profits, in In the case of roulette, my main strategy had always been that of colors, but based on many losses, I think that betting on 0 and 00 is a winning strategy, I think it occurs more frequently.

In addition, in several articles they talk about it, and about the error that many players make, which consists in thinking that what is predicted will come out, which is called the player's fallacy.
That players fallacy is valid inside your post as well. You say that "making micro bets and hoping for a big return is the way to go for lost" but it doesn't matter. Because of house edge you could make a profit or you could lose no matter how you play, and in the long run you will always lose and that is what matters here. I am not saying that you should consider stop gambling just because of that, all I am saying is know that you are not going to have a win chance if you keep gambling for a long period of time, so you should gamble knowing that which would eventually mean that you will have a chance to have a lot of fun as well.

Slots and roulette if they have the same house edge means they would have the same chance for you to win/lose, because that is the only mathematical thing that you should be looking at when you are gambling, how big or small the house edge is.
4204  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Welcome back to the Premier League- Watford FC!! 🚀 on: May 13, 2021, 05:18:26 PM
Arsenal was so lucky tonight with scoring goal from stupid Chelsea mistake or should I say Chelsea was very unlucky to lose after they hit crossbar few times and dominated the match.
Next two matches for Arsenal are with Crystal Palace and Brighton so they still have slim chances to qualify for Europa League, but not if they play like this.
One thing is sure that it's going to be interesting fight to the end for Europe.
Honestly with Chelsea losing and Leicester winning that made things a lot harder for chelsea. Now liverpool is behind two games and behind 7 points, which means if chelsea has another tie or loss, and if liverpool wins all the other games they play, there is a chance liverpool, after all that has happened, could have a chance to actually go up to champions league levels. I do not think that it should have been this way, I believe it should have been liverpool already out of contention for champions league already, but as it turns out there is a chance that we could actually see liverpool there.

This must be bringing a lot of entertainment and fun for all the liverpool fans and it should be a dreadful wait for all the chelsea fans as well. It will be a good quite weeks and every single game will worth more than the previous one, which means a lot more entertaining games for us to watch.

Yeah, that's how it always works. You need to keep playing to win more BFG tokens so your dividend stays the same or increases. Luckily the number of BFG tokens that can be mined is capped, but for the moment only 50% of the tokens is already mined.
52% has been mined to be precise, and if i may add, 51% of those total mined tokens have been burned also. Burning rate seems to be rather effective imho. Funny enough, most of the BFG burnings happen when people gamble with it. Greed seems to be a good for burning and i can't see it ending even if BFG pays more, because it's just that greed what makes people want it more so they are willing to gamble with it.
If you bet on people being greedy, you will always win there is no doubt about that. That is what betfury did, they have built something that would be more and more valuable depending on how greedy people are and it looks like people are quite greedy and that wasn't a secret, we all know that humanity is way too greedy and betfury capitalized on that.

I believe BFT will get more valuable, obviously over course of some period there will be a moment when greedy people will realize holding their BFG will be more profitable and then a switch will be turned on and that will cause a lot of people to end up stop gambling and start investing and that is when BFG will worth a ton and that is when an exchange listing should happen because people will want to buy instead of earn BFG. No idea when that may happen but I do believe that it will happen for sure.
4206  Economy / Economics / Re: I feel the report about UK economy losing 700 billion is wrong!!! on: May 12, 2021, 08:43:15 PM
I understand that 700 billion could be wrong, or it could be right, after all economists know about this stuff than you and me and just because you "think" they are wrong doesn't make you right, it makes you someone with no education on this field (if you do go write a counter article about it and put that forward) going against people who spent decades becoming professionals at the job, its like saying I think Lebron will miss a shot I can make, makes no sense.

However even if we take your reasoning at hand it shows why you are wrong, you say it will be "better" because of vaccination which I am sure it will be better than right now, but that doesn't change the fact that so many people lost so much money already so going back into business will not be easy, people do not have money they used to have to help business' make a profit.
4207  Economy / Economics / Re: 3.9million users took part in the Elon Musk poll; What will be Tesla's decision? on: May 12, 2021, 08:14:51 PM
I am pretty sure he will not accept doge for sure. We are talking about %60 of all doge owned by certain people, very centralized, there are people who can literally buy the whole Tesla with the doge they own if they wanted to with how Doge is priced right now, even if not the whole, they could purchase a huge chunk of it.

That means Tesla can't accept doge on the basis of how centralized the distribution is and that is a big problem. This dude loves to joke around about dogecoin and he can do that all day but he would never have a substantial investment into dogecoin from his company that is just a fact, let alone accepting doge, he can't even have a public purchasing of doge from Tesla itself, he did that for bitcoin but he can't do that for doge. Only reason why he keeps this up is the fact that he was liked for it and he likes to be liked.
4208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Wouldn't Invest $1 In Dogecoin And Here Are 10 Reasons Why on: May 11, 2021, 09:26:45 PM
I can name just one thing : it is a memecoin. That is a good enough reason for me to not invest into something, I do not really look for something else when making an investment, as long as it is a serious project with a good deal behind it, I would invest into it but if there is nothing that supports that notion and it is only a "joke" then there is no way I would invest.

Nowadays they are creating similar stuff (or already created but hyping just now) to make things worth again, like shiba or whatever that is called became very high as well, why? Not really a proper reason, just because it was another meme coin that resembles doge and doge went up too much so people instead moved their profits there to make that kind of return again. Long story short, if the project is not a serious project with a good usecase I wouldn't invest into it.
4209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really that hard to make ethereum faster and cheaper? on: May 11, 2021, 08:44:26 PM
It is not, that is why they are making it cheaper and faster because they can and it is simple. If you haven't heard about it, you can google "eip1559", I can't really talk about it in lengths because it does many things but the simple explanation would be that it will be cheaper and faster because it will get rid of the excess amount to get to front by the rich people who made it this high at the start.

Right now it is much lower, it is not as bad as it used to be, but whenever it gets lower there are tons of people who go back in, make some transactions and then increase it all over again, then people slowly go away again and then the fee drops and then everyone gets back again, this happens in cycle. In July 14th the eip1559 will start and that will take it much lower, and in a year or two we will have eth 2.0 which will make it even cheaper and faster.
4210  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 08, 2021, 10:14:50 AM
Yeah, everyone is following same strategy. Because,
Everyone tries to buy at low and tries to sell high.
Everyone is aware of technical and fundamental analysis.
Everyone is perfect in risk and reward management.
Everyone is able to be disciplined while trading and able to follow their plans.
and also
Everyone makes mistakes due to their greediness or panic.

If you consider everyone is into same kind of practices then in common view, everyone is looking like following same kind of things. You can simply copy them or customize few of practices according to your capabilities still you will get your own level of chances to make profits.

I do not get why people would invest for a quick profit into a casino. If you want to make a quick profit there are other methods that you could do, margin trading, leverages, even small cap coin purchase could still be a good one in few days if you are lucky. However casinos are not the right place for a quick profit if you are an investor, it just doesn't work like that. Sure if you invest now and some super rich person comes in and gambles tens of millions of dollars and lose them all that would work and I would get that, however most of the time we are talking about something that is rarely there, it is usually not like that at all.

Normally the house has an edge which is the profit margin most of the time, and that means you are going to gradually make more and more profit but it is going to take some time for you to get there so you need to be patient about it.
I think it is a bit more about how casinos could give you a quick profit thanks to ups and downs of the gamblers. However the reality is that someone who has absolutely no intention of gambling ever would probably not consider investing into a casino that easily neither, which means the "quick" profit is people who gamble here, and they know how they gamble themselves so they react accordingly.

If you have 10k in investment and 1k for bankrolling your gambling, you know how quickly that 1k can be gone, so that is why you keep that 10k in, so that you could profit people like yourself.

Anyone who has gambled in a high wagered session would know that losing 1k is something simple, it could be done in 1 minute, or could be stretched to 1 year, it all depends on how you gamble but anyone who lost it very quickly would probably know that if it is gone, it is gone and being on the other side is much better.
4212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reversal Psychology ! on: May 08, 2021, 08:34:53 AM
I really appreciate your persistence, and you are not tempted to sell even though it has been a fantastic profit. but don't let this happen because you are greedy
Here we need to remember the people who still hold their nerves for embracing their bitcoins tightly since 2009/2010. When you believe into greater future of bitcoins then current prices may seem like nothing. One proven example is winklevoss brothers. I never call anyone greedy for holding bitcoins for infinite timeframe targets.

It's not easy to control your emotions if you don't have a training with meditation.
That might be out of debate. When more people get into meditation and start sharing their experiences, we may consider as one of method to keep ourselves calm.
4213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the mechanism behind bumping? Profiting in both BTC & altcoin possible? on: May 08, 2021, 06:59:42 AM
If a pumping is happening in an organic way then you may get chances to baghold both BTC and altcoins. I guess Elon Musk must be doing that right now, he is not simply pumping but he calls new investors through social media which means he tries to make up his pumping somewhat organic.

An organic pumping will not have big differences from natural bull market.

What is pumping? One or few whales manipulates.
Bull market? Masses participate.

It seems, right now, Elon Musk is trying to make up dogecoin's pump as a natural bull market. If he is able to invite more investors then he can sell those dogecoins that has been bought for cheaper prices. This way, he may profit both in dogecoins and bitcoins.

But, keep attracting new investors will make your BTC holding weaker which may end up in only altcoin stash.
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 07, 2021, 09:20:11 PM
^^I think that's the weird part. You could always bribe someone and get a guaranteed game, like yeah sure that team should lose if that's done and I get that, not approve it but rigging in sports do happen and that's alright. However one thing is for sure, even if you are going to lose, at least lose while looking like you are trying, hell I would say play to win and maybe you will lose anyway? And if you don't, if the scores are too close, fake the part on defense and not on offense, let the other team score easier and act as if you were fouled on defense, call for a hooking, basically do all the faking on defense and just act normal on offense.

At least in that case when someone asks you could say "hey we scored this much points!! Why would we sell a game that we scored this much!!" which would be a good defense. These were just some idiots, they were so bad they didn't know how to sell a game out.
4215  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 07, 2021, 09:11:15 PM
Crypto and stocks have always been the favorite comparison of majority when it comes to the topic of investments. However, these two serves their own purposes and I believe they are intended for different reasons, only that they have similar functions such as in terms of investing, hence people pit them from one another.

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency which may serve as an alternative to fiat money. It is decentralized, meaning there's no entity, organization, or institution that controls and regulates. It used in online transactions only that, it provides stricter security when it comes to identity. It is also a medium and platform to generate money such as when joining the paid campaigns and by investing. Meanwhile, stock market is centralized which stocks belong. It is regulated by the government to avoid and manage the emergence of fraudaulent transactions and illegal activities. Stocks are equities that are part or portion of a company or corporation. People usually invest in stocks because of its long term value.
I do not consider stocks and crypto even remotely close to each other at all. You may live in a nation where stock market is doing good, or it could be a nation where companies are ahead of politicians, for example if you are in USA it is a good idea to have money in stock markets and that's fine, especially if you find a good company to invest into.

However you should remember there are 100+ nations where companies are not doing well because of politics and because of how the nation is bad, hence putting your money into crypto is basically saying "I believe crypto will profit me more than my nation can do in any way" and that is a proven fact for so many nations. I could have bought the best profitable stock of the last year and it wouldn't be 50% of what bitcoin did for example, and that is the most profitable stock, that is why I do not see any point on investing into them if you are in one of those nations.
4216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Path to altseason. on: May 07, 2021, 08:48:30 PM
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, what if bear e never come again? It seems there are millions of investors out there waiting for any price dips on crypto projects don't you think? Maybe crypto have leave that stage of deep bearish market?
Well, technically speaking a bear will always come, it may not be as bad as it used to be but that is just market taking profit eventually. The idea is that if something goes up forever, that means it worths nothing, because if nobody sells that means there is no true value, it needs to go down to show that people are taking profit and leaving so that the market would feel more comfortable about it as well.

The higher it goes the less people who will feel comfortable about buying it and that eventually turns into a bear. Do not be worried though, I do not think it will come soon neither, it may take maybe a whole year before it happens, or maybe at least after we go into 2022 at least, so I am not worried neither. I believe we are on a good roll right now and we may end up going up like this in all coins for a long time and that is very exciting.
4217  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett says he's sees ‘very substantial inflation’ and rising prices on: May 07, 2021, 08:33:30 PM
The idea that US economy was "booming" was simply saying that "everyone is making more money" and they were idiots. People are not making a lot of money, they are basically getting more fiat for the same work because of high inflation and they didn't see that coming.

If you used to sell a cookie for 1$ and now it is $2 suddenly, that doesn't mean that you are making more money, that means inflation went up and now everything costs more and you sell the cookie for more, just because numbers in your bank account became more doesn't mean you are richer, if you still live the same life and if your income still can pay for the same things that means you are not doing anything shocking at all. This is why I believe we should not be really believing all these business people who boost shareholder morale by lying, just look at the real facts and you will see the truth.
4218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What projects do you have under your eye? on: May 07, 2021, 08:20:08 PM
Swipe has been a good one in my mind for a while. It hasn't increased all that much during this period and hasn't been pumped like the other ones just yet, however I believe it has a huge potential. First of all it is a technology bought out by Binance and that is a very important factor, sure it still has its own CEO but as a company they are wholly purchased by Binance and that is a big promising thing for them.

Secondly they promise a feature, a card, a payment processing via bitcoin like many others tried so far but they both haven't published it yet so it is normal for it to not get high price yet, but also they will have backing from Binance when they are doing this, so it is going to be different than others. Long story short it is a good long term investment plus it could be a good short term as well if it gets high in price like the other ones during this alt season as well.
4219  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian Government Ban on Crypto, the P2P dilemma on: May 07, 2021, 08:06:04 PM
I do not think that free market is something as good as people imagine it would be. Everyone loves to talk about how less government intervention is great, but then this happens and they are shocked about it. When people on the left say that we need more government they do not mean lets all become Chinese communist regime and take control of everything, we just mean that lets put regulations and let people do whatever they want under those guidelines. Sure you can make a case on too much government, and that's true, there should not be too much government, but there should be no government neither, look at what happened here for example and see that government is important.

So, we need to find that right balance where it is not people screwing each other over, but it is also not government screwing people neither, there needs to be a correct amount of balance.
4220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Money flowing out of BTC into Altcoins on: May 07, 2021, 07:28:48 PM
Isn't it normal? During 2017 it happened as well, when the price of bitcoin failed to go over 20k people saw that making 2x or 3x or even 5x profit (and sometimes even higher) on bitcoin is not easy, it would take a lot of money and a very hard work and tons of good news with bunch of companies going in etc etc, so it is a hard one to make it go up.

But, if you want the same on some other coin, all you have to do is shill the same coin over and over again and you will end up with something that is as much as 10x because low marketcap coins could go up very easily, just one guy buying 100k worth could make it go up 2x very easily for example for most low cap ones. That is the obvious reason why bitcoin is not going up too much while alts are skyrocketing, because it requires a lot less money to take them higher and people prefer the easier method to profit.
