4201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can newbie become rich with trading on: April 18, 2022, 11:24:04 PM
how can a newbie make profit trading coins and what manual can be followed.
Newbies can trade by just buying bitcoin, holding it for a long time, and finally selling when the price considerably surpass the price you bought your coins for.

That is the manual and it's called long term trading. Cheesy

Anything else on short run and involving altcoins should be taken with a grain of salt. Even professionals aren't safe on this game, imagine newbies...
4202  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Has your bank or credit card told you they will stop you buying crypto? on: April 18, 2022, 11:20:21 PM
I feel sad for banks which adopt this kind of approach towards crypto. In what times are they still living? It's 2022 already, and those who don't adopt crypro or create obstacles to difficult the adoption by others are going to stay behind, without any doubts.

I've never experienced this, but I'm sure you will be able to find a crypto bank or app which features credit card for customers. There are so many of them right now, including some with cashback option, which is great for making purchases daily and receiving a small percentage of the money back. I'm sure you will be able to find something if you search for it carefully.
4203  Economy / Economics / Re: Im ready to adond all banks and my friends also dont need banks anymore on: April 18, 2022, 08:14:10 PM
I see no reason to live without banks right now. It will just make life harder and less accessible for different products and services you have to pay in your daily life. The best to do is to adopt bitcoin and keep an account at a bank which doesn't charge abusive taxes and isn't too intrusive. This way you have access to cryptocurrencies, paper money and also credit/debit cards. That is the perfect solution so far.

Maybe some crypto banks are going to be everything we need in a near future, although in this case you will still need to find an alternative to acquire paper money (maybe making a virtual transaction to someone else's bank account and asking them cashout the money for you).
4204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: April 18, 2022, 07:23:26 PM
But I disagree with what you said about Brazil, disregard the fact that I'm Brazilian Grin... but have you seen Brazil's games in the impeccable qualification for the world cup? How many goals did Neymar score?
The Brazilian team isn't longer dependent on an ace, it has very talented players that are causing great indecision in the head of the coach.
I really believe in an incredible performance by Brazil in this Qatar World Cup.
Oh, I see. Indeed, Brazil had outstanding results on the qualifiers phase. Argentina had an excellent performance too, but Brazil was even better. No doubts about that, they really deserve the favorite positions they always are when we talk about world cup. But I think it's not accurate to make predictions based only on this early stage, since they are playing against South America's countries exclusively. The real challenge starts when the games are played against european teams, and that is when Brazil (and also Argentina) struggles to pass ahead.

In 2006 it was France which overcame Brazil, 2010 it was Netherlands, 2014 it was Germany and 2018 it was Belgium.

But if Brazil isn't dependant on Neymar anymore and play collectively, as you said, I believe they have conditions to reach the finals.
4205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: April 18, 2022, 05:45:15 AM
On an average it is found to be around $1200. With cryptocurrency Scams/frauds Rug Pulls are very common.
That is a too high amount of amount for an average result. Is this study including big wallets from exchanges which were hacked in million of dollars as well? Most scams I see around don't involve extraordinary amounts of money, not even a thousand. Majority of the cases are about poor investors who lose few dollars for ponzi schemes or hyped altcoins, expecting to double their money in few days.
4206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is taking another direction on: April 18, 2022, 04:24:00 AM
Something has to be done about this before bounty turn to scam in it entirety. What's your view, opinion and suggestions on this?
Yes, people need to stop applying for bounties until decent working conditions are set by managers. If campaigns reached to a point people earn 1$ or 2$ for a month of work 5 times a week it's because people are still going for it or even less... So of course managers aren't concerned about increasing the rewards. Once bounty hunters demand a minimum payment in bitcoin or any solid altcoin, besides the bounty paid with the native currency of the project, things start changing and campaigns start being profitable again.

I think it wouldn't hurt if campaigns paid at least 0,50$ or 1$ daily to bounty hunters, besides the bounty itself. Workers just need to ask for it and stop selling their promoting services for free.
4207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc price moving too much on: April 18, 2022, 12:28:22 AM
Actually, bitcoin is considerably stable nowadays. In past years, and more exactly, in past bearish seasons, bitcoin used to be much more volatile than now. Adopters should be seeing this positively instead of an issue. It's during the hard times that we can check how bitcoin is really doing, because there is no hype to obfuscate our senses and reality, so I can say bitcoin is stronger than it has ever been. Support line is too solid and I guess no one questions that at this time, neither the most pessimistic, critics or haters. For investors who have been on this market since 2016 or 2017, there is no reason to fear, as they have seen worse scenarios.
4208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: April 18, 2022, 12:00:29 AM
Even though Portugal has a very capable squad this season, I don't expect Cristiano Ronaldo and his friends to go further in this world cup even though this is the last world cup for Ronaldo. Of course he will try to give his all for the Portugal national team which will compete in Qatar next November, nur we have seen how Portugal must struggle in the play-off phase to qualify for the finals of course this is also a benchmark that Portugal will be stuck in the round of 16 or the.quarter-finals
Why do you think Portugal will not cross the round 16? You think because Ronaldo will be retiring soon and he will not have the strength to do what he normally does? With or without Ronaldo, I am very certain that Portugal will reach semi if not the final stage. This is a big opportunity to show the world that he has the potential of winning the world cup before he retires which is going to be a great record. Let's see how things are going to be when it all started.
Why do you think Portugal has potential to reach the finals? For me they are a team like any other, with the exception they have one very skilled player, but that is just one player anyway. Balanced teams without a main star, like Spain, Germany or Netherlands look more promising to me. On the other hand, teams like Argentina, Brazil and Portugal are too dependant on their main stars, what prejudices their teams as a whole, because the adversaries just need to neutralize the Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo on field to have the advantage on the game.
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Token Based Casino In Market Aggregator on: April 17, 2022, 06:31:02 AM
I see no significant use case for fun tokens, if only the team behind the project can create some really nice use case for fun tokens, I personally think that the token would have made its way to the front page of coinmarketcap, that's top 100, but even at this, I don't think this can cause any kind of significant wave of casino tokens that will trigger a trend that will cause coinmarketcap to make a section for casino tokens.
Well, I think they did create exclusive uses for FUN token, as we can see at freebitco.in site. They created the premium program which gives benefits and bonus to FUN holders inside the platform, besides the staking FUN program. They made FUN interesting for gamblers, faucet users and also for investors. That looks great for me and very innovative if compared to thousands of altcoins disponible on the market which offers nothing to adopters. There is potential to reach the top 100 rank futurely for FUN. The team just need to advertise more the premium program to investors, following the steps platforms like NEXO, Celsius and Blockfi did (since they also have native tokens ranking pretty good).
4210  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 17, 2022, 05:11:28 AM
For most people only crypto investment among the three options will make sense, because gold and silver are only for consolidated rich individuals who need to protect their wealthy from devaluation, so they go for low volatile assets. For the average investors it makes no sense to keep their money in gold or silver, since their patrimony won't grow too much that way, it will just makes the patrimony stable. Then bitcoin becomes the best alternative for them, as the volatility keeps pushing the price upside on long run. Once investors achieve profit in bitcoin, gold and silver may become an interesting investment. But that is just "late game".
4211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest browser for Metamask ? on: April 17, 2022, 03:34:12 AM
the best way to protect yourself is always check the website that you are accessing and never ever "Sign in" on that you think is a phishing website. Some are using Trezor to access Metamask to fully secure their asset since it requires the hardware before it can be accessed or make transactions.
That is the point people should really be worried about. The problem isn't the browser you are using, but the sites you are giving permission to link to your metamask wallet. It's a must to check the legitimacy of the sites before confirming anything. Actually that is what metamask warns when we attempt to link it to any sites.

For hackers it's easy to pretend they are going to distribute a token or NFT for free just to connect themselves to someone's wallet and in the end they say it's a browser issue or vulnerability that caused the victim to lose his funds.
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: April 17, 2022, 01:51:10 AM
I think it's safer to watch how a brand new casino develop itself before depositing and playing on it, because we never know if they have bad intentions or if they have a solid bankroll managed by a solid team. Some things only time can show us and reputation plus legitimacy are some of those things. With so many options of casinos around, which are alive for several years already, it's hard for new casinos to conquer the sympathy and interest from gamblers who will of course play at the most obvious and popular houses advertised on the forum, unless fresh casinos are able to provide a very unique, exclusive and inedit experience, what I think it's unlikely right now.

What we mostly see are copies of established casinos.
4213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donations no longer welcome on Wikipedia on: April 16, 2022, 10:56:42 PM
The justification of "receiving insignificant donations through bitcoin" to forbid people from donating bitcoins doesn't make sense*. 71,17% of Wikipedia community just showed to have developed a free hate for bitcoin that simply can't be explained. Maybe they were brainwashed by the influent people on the environment they usually access and attend.
I believe donations are donations, doesn't matter their value or in what currency they are coming in, what matters is the intention of donators and since it doesn't hurt anyone to receive a free amount of bitcoin, their decision is mannerless, rude and snob. Anyway, donators shouldn't worry, because there are many other sites and places where their bitcoins will be very welcome.

*Actually, Wikipedia community used the fallacy of bitcoin mining operation destroying the nature to go against the digital currency. Of course, members of the mainstream educational system worldwide are part of this community, so it's normal they consider ideas like that legit to delegitimize bitcoin. The mainstream educational system gives support to the traditional fiat system.

I have been receiving this email from time to time to upgrade to the premium to maximize the playing experience at freebitco.

How many of you here have upgraded to premium and is there any real benefit doing so ?

Many people who post on this thread regularly have upgraded to the premium program (including myself) and I don't see them complaining about it. Personally for me it worths, because I'm also an investor who take advantage of the interest rate bonus provided by the premium packages. But if you are going to rely only on wheel of fortune's extra spins to make profit, you should expect the lowest prizes will be hit really often.

Taking this information in consideration, calculate how much you are willing to invest in FUN tokens and how much will be the potential daily return. Best cost-benefit package so far is the one which requires you to hold 12,500 FUN tokens.

Moreover, if you are a long term investor, you will also take advantage of FUN holdings by locking your tokens up to 365 days, which will reward you with more 25% FUN after a year time period. If FUN does well on the next bull run, it is going to be great for holders following this strategy. However, keep in mind it's not guaranteed and nobody can assure it's going to happen for real. There are risks involved, like when investing in any other altcoin.

On the other hand, you can try finding a generous referrer (someone who will provide you a personal link to sign up at the site) who will share part of the comission you generate to him through using faucet, gambling and investing back to you.

That is the only advantage I think someone could have towards another users.

I think it is not too easy to do. And I think that in general you create your account because you already have link or you create the account just like that, without looking for side benefits. I have created my account without smy ref link - I honestly just didn’t think about it snd about possible benefits.
But on the other hand I have no idea how to find a generous referrer, even if I would like to.
To find some referral links within promises of comission shares by the author isn't too hard if you search on google, although the hard thing is to have the assurance the referrer is going to fulfill with his word on long run. I don't know if freebitco.in's team would allow this, but someone could just give up an account (completely abandoning this) and create a fresh one by using the referral link desired, from an user who will reward him with comission back. To ensure the method is going to work, it's interesting to be referred by someone you trust, such as personal friends or relatives (since all of you live in different houses and use different internet connections to access the site).
4216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: April 14, 2022, 07:10:29 PM
I was introduced to online gambling through cryptocurrency, and since then I've only played at crypto casinos. In fact, fiat gambling sites have never be an option for me. Maybe I didn't develop interest for traditional sites because they wanted to link my account to my credit card and ID as soon as I signed up and I didn't want to share those informations when I was younger and didn't even have money to spend on those sites, while crypto casinos were much more affordable, being possible to adjust bet size to minimum as 1 satoshi per roll. That means I could play with few dollars for some good hours, having fun and testing strategies at same time.

Basically the answer is: because crypto casinos are less greedy than fiat ones, and give customers superior opportunities to play more time using less money, if they wish.
4217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banking bitcoins will be work on: April 14, 2022, 06:03:03 PM
Nowadays bitcoin is connected with banking process. If bank not available. People can't change Bitcoin. So coming future it possible for changing this process. Kindly any one explain me. I need to know. Kindly support and give your adivoce. Nowadays banking is connected all country people and change the all country's currency.
Not true. You are forgetting the peer to peer transaction system. Which means, I can do business with any other person without the need of a middleman.

We can do business with cash, assets or any other way, so banks are not needed. Sure, they make things easier but they are not needed
P2p transactions do exist, but only a very low percentage of bitcoin adopters use this negotiation method to deal with bitcoin. Without middlemen (exchanges and banks) most people wouldn't be able to transact bitcoin anymore, and I include myself here, because I don't know trustful people who I could buy or sell bitcoins directly, since there are no guarantees.
Moreover, middlemen platforms are good to keep the market competitive, what means customers have access to cheaper fees when sending, buying or selling bitcoins. If we had only p2p transactions, I guess some people would get skilled really fast on this field and charge expensive fees from customers, as it would be harder to find verified legit people willing to make business.

4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DEBATE] Are meme coins ruining cryptocurrencies? on: April 13, 2022, 08:43:22 PM
Altcoins which bring new features, solutions and ideas to crypto market aren't neglected because of meme coins. It's actually due to the bearish market we are right now.

They still have importance and will grow as top currencies, while meme coins will fade with their temporary hype, so I think it's not necessary to worry about it. On long term only what really matters is able to survive and bitcoin is proof of that. Keep investing on solid currencies (mostly bitcoin) and just ignore meme coins. That is my opinion.
4220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: April 13, 2022, 07:23:54 PM
The direct impact of cryptocurrencies on the war after a month:

Ukraine’s Crypto Donations Reach the $100 Million Mark

If it wasn't for cryptocurrencies, a big portion of that money wouldn't make its way to help ukrainian military forces and civilians, so Satoshi Nakamoto has also a kind of participation on this whole process, thankfully.

It means crypto is helping Ukraine to resist for longer and to feed and warm citizens who are losing their houses on russian attacks.

How much do you think Ukraine is going to collect through cryptocurrencies in another month of war?
