4201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 10, 2021, 10:11:21 AM
Dortmund are going to play a home game against Mainz next weekend. And this can be a hard game for Dortmund also. Augsburg were an easy opponent for them last week but they still won by only one goal. They will need to show a greater performance against Mainz to be able to win. Because they are a more powerful team and have the potential of making big teams surprised. I hope to see Dortmund winning.
We have many interesting games next weekend, the best is Leverkusen - Bayern of course then we have M'Gladbach - Stuttgart and Freiburg - leipzig in which final result might be unexpected.
Dortmund - Mainz shouldn't be hard imo especially with the return of Haaland to the team most likely, odds BTW are way in favor of Dortmund 1.4 vs 7.2.. There is a whole week so many things could change by the time.

Brentford made surprises in its games although being the underdog but I think Chelsea is another story. Odds are way in favor of Chelsea @1.5 vs 7 for Brentford.
Leicester - ManU appears to have interesting odds @3.7 and 2 respectively. After failing to win twice, I don't think ManU will tolerate more.
Chelsea are many opportunities to get a win (1.5), how many odds for a draw?, when I look at the story, they make a draw vs MU and Liverpool, which possibly makes it happen when meeting a big club like Chelsea. furthermore, in the last game, Brentford creates winning versus west ham, I try bet to tie.
about MU, during Ole was still a coach, performance Mu still unpredictable, Yesterday they got the win, today they got a draw, and possibly tomorrow they got a lose. but, I will try to bet tie also.
According to Stake, odds changed slightly meanwhile, Chelsea 1.56 / Brentford 6.2 and a draw @4.1
Betting for Brentford or draw @2.46 while Chelsea or draw @1.24
Those odds might change drastically by the weekend

Turkey has 3 matches remaining now and there is very little chance that they may be able to overtake Norway. For Turkey, the remaining matches are against Latvia, Gibraltar and Montenegro (in that order). For Norway, the opponents are Montenegro, Latvia and Netherlands. Turkey has a chance of remaining in this tournament only of they win all three of their remaining matches.
A part Montenegro maybe, the other 2 games for Turkey aren't hard but I cannot trust them any more personally to win any game with their poor performance. For Norway, Netherlands' match is gonna be hard, not sure if Haaland will be able to participate on it or not.
Tomorrow's games are kinda boring with almost clear favourites in every match. In the other international competitions, Argentina failed to win vs Paraguay and tomorrow they will face Uruguay. Not sure about the odds for the first game but Argentina odds @1.6 vs Uruguay @5.6. Ok Argentina didn't lost any game so far but a draw is possible too, does draw or Uruguay @2.2 worth the risk?
4204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 10, 2021, 08:18:48 AM
Friday, Turkey was able to get a draw from Norway, otherwise for the remaining games for that day and yesterday I don't see any surprises at all! I prefer to not mention that some of the matches were like a training mode for some nations Lips sealed
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 10, 2021, 08:12:59 AM
Sevilla are one of the great teams this season. They are at the 4th place being 3 points behind the leader and they have a missing match also which is against Barcelona. They got an unexpected loss against Granada last week. They will want to make up for the loss and Celta Vigo are another easy team for them to beat. Real Madrid demolished Celta Vigo and Sevilla can get a decent win here also.
Sevilla always play for European leagues spots and won EL many times. They are good and can do way better but they aren't and keeps missing easy opportunities like a defeat against Grenada which is struggling this season, a draw against Elche shouldn't happen imo... They are also rumours about letting their top scorer En-Nesyri go to Arsenal in exchange for Lacazette. This will make them weaker imo after the next transfer window.
4206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 10, 2021, 08:05:03 AM
Today Spain is favorite, I don't know why bookmakers see France as favorite and give lower odds to them but I'll take it, better odds for my bet. I guess until the match time we will see decreasing odds for Spain if majority think like that. Spain showed how good they are last match, they beat Euro winner Italy and got revenge from Euro's. France did a great comeback in Belgium game but it was luck mixed with Belgium mistakes so don't expect something like that in Spain game. We will watch a great match besides who will win, you better enjoy every part of it. It's the first final for both teams in Nations League.
I agree that France profited from Belgium's mistakes to win but overall France is better, more consistent than Spain and has a better players. Deschamps is under pressure to deliver a win with his team for France after being eliminated in EURO and the struggle they are facing in qualifications.. A defeat in this final game of Nations League, although it isn't an important one comparing to EURO, could mean the end of his career especially if Spain will humiliate them.

Chelsea are going to be playing against Brentford in an away match next week. Chelsea are at the top in the table now. They have had a really impressive performance so far that they lost only to Manchester City which was by 1-0. They are staying strong in even the matches they struggle a lot. Because their defense line is very powerful and the Tuchel factor is very important. Brentford are one of the dangerous teams this season as they got a point from Liverpool also which are at the 2nd place now. I still think that Chelsea will win but it might be by only one goal.

Inter and lazio game will be important as well, they are not really too much of a difference neither. So we have 4 games that I would say worth watching this week, Juventus and Roma which I believe Roma may win, Inter vs Lazio which I believe Inter may win, Milan and Verona which I believe Milan will get, and Napoli vs Torino which I believe could be a surprise.

Now I know Napoli is the first but they have been good for a long time and nobody expected them to be this good this long, even PSG lost before they did so there will be a game where they will just suck and lose out of nowhere, this could potentially be that game, nobody expects Napoli to lose this game and that is why I believe there is a chance. Of course, this is a low chance but I believe it is there.
Napoli odds are 1.4 vs Torino @7.8 and x5 for a draw. Of course Napoli is better and right now they are doing good. The PSG scenario could happen to anyone but I think Napoli will win this time.
Milan odd @1.5 vs Verona @6 are quite similar to Napoli - Torino game with the main difference that Verona defensive strategy is way weaker.
Juve - Roma is quite challenging, if that game was scheduled a month ago I would say 100% Roma to win but lately Juve woke up while Roma failed in some games. I don't like odds in that game 1.9 for Juve and 4 for Roma! I know that these odds are good for bettors but it is kinda humiliating for Roma imo. For me that game and Lazio - Inter one are the real interesting one and in which final result is unpredictable.

-snip-
Belgium went from leading by 2 goals to a shamefull defeat by 2-3 goals which is due to several factors.. the awakening of the French team in the second half, weak and slow defense and some tactical mistakes also... After all it is a well merited win for France.
I really do not think we can say Belgium had a shameful defeat! They even had a goal ruled out because of VAR intervention, so they tried. France is a former and looking like a future world champion. No shame to lose to them and scoring 2 goals in return Smiley

Either side would have deserved to win but we thank them for giving us a match to watch rather than a draw to forget.
Well leading with 2 goals for most of the time then get knocked with 3 goals in half an hour couldn't be named other than a collapse which is shameful. I didn't mean Belgium was horrible or bad but losing that way was a big disappointment and shameful... Dunno if you understand what I mean.
Next Sunday will be very interesting, odds are backing Italy and France, we will see if this will be the case.

Those Gulf countries are competing in everything including football! PSG/Qatar, City/Emirates and now Newcastle/Saudis.. That was rumoured to happen months ago before pulling out from the race due to several reasons but after all they come back to achieve what they want. The power of oily money. We will see some big signing soon, some people are joking about seeing Messi, Mbappe, Haaland and others joining Newcastle next year Tongue
4211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 08, 2021, 06:14:39 AM
Impressive game. Unfortunately, i have to put up with any result. Today I was rooting for Belgium and it was one step away from victory, but France made a comeback plus won in the last minutes, a super offensive result. After such a match, it seems to me that France will be super strong, above all morally, and in the upcoming final it will be the clear favorite.

If Mbappe is renegotiating with PSG, that means only 1 thing - Real does not have the money to give him the salary that he wants Grin

Mbappe made it clear he wants Real and wants to be in the center of a project but he's also smart enough to gauge whether Real is in a position to be dominant again. If not, he'll wait or go somewhere else.
Real Madrid is still competitive, after all what happened there, comparing to the other teams in La Liga. Moving there should be safe for a talented player like Mbappe. The only problem is La Liga is no more challenging or attractive and I assume less people are interested in following its game as they used to do before.
4213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: October 07, 2021, 06:26:11 AM
It's too early to say if we are going up above the resistance level of $50k, it seems that after reaching as high as $51k, it went back down again to $50,700. So yes, there is a resistance right now and maybe people are selling at $50k and taking some profits.

So it might goes sideways against for some time, and there's no assurance that we can maintain this $50k. Hopefully though, we can maintain above it for this week. There's some kind of FOMO needed again to push it back up to $52k.
We can't talk about resistance in hours or days but seeing the bitcoin price rising and keep fluctuating few $1k above $50k is kind of reassuring.
I am not very confident to set the new resistance level at the $50k barrier but breaking it over and over is something good, hopefully the price could maintain its positive growth and pass the $60k barrier soon again!

Early red card for Bonucci made it easier for Spain so I can count myself a bit lucky with my bet I guess. Spain was already leading by then but Italy was playing good and could have easily turned the game around.

After the red card Spain completely took over the possession of the ball and made the game more comfortable for them. I'm happy for Oyarzabal, I like him as a player - he had a really good game yesterday.

Today I'll go with France, they are my 1st favorites for the trophy. Smaller bet, the odds are not as attractive as they were on Spain yesterday.
I wasn't able to follow the game yesterday but I read about it in the news. Italy record was stopped by Spain which managed to score 2 goals in the first half and profited from the lack of 1 player in the Italian team. That was unfortunate and sad although this competition is useless Undecided
Belgium - France today and I am not very comfortable with supporting 100% France.
4215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 05, 2021, 07:36:13 PM
after almost a year, there are semi-finals in Nations league, with two matches:
Italy vs Spain - tomorrow in Milan
Belgium vs France - Thursday in Turin

both matches could go on any side, but I expect Italy to be under2.5 goals and Belgium to be over2.5 goals
A year, well almost, to see this competition resuming.
Italy - Spain match is quite challenging but Italian showed a great skill in EURO especially. Odds are also backing Italy @2.2 vs @3.4 for Spain.
Belgium - France is also Interesting, Belgium is a hard team while France dropped a lot in performance. Although odds are in favor of France @2.5, I think Belgium could win @2.9, it all depends from how bad France will play..

Attention, tomorrow is a very nice game. UEFA Nations League semi-final match 1: Italy vs Spain. Italy is unbeaten for 37 games and has 3 wins and 3 draws with 7:2 goals in the first round. The game even takes place in Italy, so home advantage in front of 37,000 people in the stadium. If the Nations League is won for Italy after the European Championship, then they also qualify for the World Cup. On 07.10. Belgium plays against France. Also a great game, but my favorite is Italy.
Totally forgot that (silly) competition lol but we have some interesting matches between Italy - Spain and Belgium - France!
BTW this is the right topic dedicated to that league :

4217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 05, 2021, 07:23:19 PM
I was expecting Barcelona to change their manager after Koeman's getting really bad results in the La Liga and the Champions League both. The Atletico Madrid loss by 2-0 was the tipping point I think. While everyone was waiting for Koeman to be fired, Laporta stated that they will still continue to work with Koeman. He really believes in Koeman seemingly and thinks of giving a second chance.
Laporta said before the game that he trust Koeman so he will not sack him just after the match, in this case he will look stupid Wink
They will give him more chances while searching for a better and available coach because if they found one they will made the change. There is another important point is that Koeman agree to end the contract otherwise Barca will have to pay him a considerable amount of fees that will make Barca more in debt.
4218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 04, 2021, 08:49:16 PM
It is not entirely FIFA's call. Qatar already hinted that all participating players and staff will have to be vaccinated, I doubt that FIFA can influence the country's health rules in any way.

They can move the World Cup, but I assume there would be heavy penalties involved and I doubt that they are even considering it.

I would really like for World Cup to be distanced from politics and topics like these but in reality I think we will have hard Covid rules, with some important players missing because they will not want to get the vaccine. Hope I'm wrong though.
Until then, many things could change but moving the World Cup from Qatar will not happen for sure.

Turkey are going to have a very critical game for them against Norway home in four days. Reportedly, Haaland and Sörloth both are still injured and won't be able to perform in this game also. This is very great news for the Turkey side actually. Because if they don't win this game, maybe they won't have another chance to promote to the World Cup.
I will be surprised to see Turkey winning vs Norway even without Haaland in honestly. They showed one of their worst performance this year.. Meanwhile Turkey odds are better @2 than Norway @3.5! we will see what they can do!
4219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 04, 2021, 08:42:28 PM
After failing in succession Ronald Koeman will continue as Barcelona coach even the president of Laporta reported that he will stay despite the crisis and he is a legend from long ago.
Hmm, so what do you think if he still deserves to stay? And whether he will fix all the crises he has experienced during the Barcelona game so far I don't know what will happen in the future, but with the opportunity that Laporta has given him, Koeman must be able to prove that he can correct his mistakes first.
Koeman is responsible for getting ride of some players in Barca, Suarez for example, while counting on Messi, Fati, Dembele... with the increasing number of injuries of some players and the fluctuating skills of the others, Barca struggled last year although counting much on Messi. Now without him, the situation is just very bad and could be even worse since their current position in La Liga with 1 missed game make them able to recover somehow.. The problem is could they win some games successively? I doubt..
4220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 04, 2021, 08:31:21 PM
As Atalanta were doing good in the recent times too, a highly competitive game was waiting for Milan.

Atalanta in the past year always followed the same pattern.

They start decent, they overperforming during the winter-spring and they slow at the end of the season.

For now, they are doing the same thing plus they have 2 key players broken at the moment which are Pessina and Gosens plus they lost their key defender Romero.
I don't have the feeling that Atalanta is trying to grab the scudetto at any cost. I think their primary objective is to stay competitive and pick an european spot. After all, they spend moderately and challenge the other teams which have more stars than it.
