4201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: July 29, 2020, 11:36:23 AM
Lately, there is a craze regarding DeFi projects.

There's a craze because it's currently the best investment, is it safe? not for all projects as there are scammers everywhere.
However, if we like to find great projects, we can always check the projects on the list. https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/

Looking at the list, most of them have significant increase, and their trading volume is also very liquid, that is not a quality of a scam.
Well, you are right, we still have to be careful but it's okay to fall for DeFi HYPES as long as it's legit.

4203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 26, 2020, 07:08:20 AM
After I saw the games of Lakers in the current pre season, now , I have high doubts that they can win this season as Bucks, Mavs and Raptors are looking even solid before the corona break so I'm expecting some big surprises when the season resumes.  Roll Eyes

Adding to that, Clippers and Nuggets are also a good contenders from the west plus Boston and Sixers from the east. There's possibilities of seeing
surprises when resumes take place especially after the 2nd round.
Mavericks is an underrated team, but they are playing really well, so they could make some surprises maybe beating the Lakers if ever they will meet in the 2nd round. But I think the most biggest rival of the Lakers here is the clippers, this is just my own opinion, I'm just saying what I see and what I though the clippers can do in the playoffs.

The time has changed and with the current setting.

It changed a lot and even the most dominating team can even have its turnover. We will not know until we see them playing with an official game. I like to watch games again for Bucks and Lakers and let's see how it goes.

Agree to that,  this new settings with pandemic is really exciting to watch out, let see how underdogs will rise up and show more competitives games.

Bucks might not advance in the NBA finals this season, a lot of good teams in the East that could possibly beat them, even if they have the best record in the league. The Boston, Sixers, and Raptors, they area  hell of a team, they won't give an easy game to the best team in the NBA right now.
4204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: July 22, 2020, 11:24:58 PM
1 week more to go and the NBA will officially resume, I'm happy to see that as early as this, you are already sharing your opinion of the first game guys, yes, the Lakers and the Clippers are great teams, it's hard to cap this game, we can stay away if we are not confident with our pick, but since this is an opening game, I think I would regret if I will not put my bet.

To add spice for those speculations about Lakers vs Clippers, I also agree that the game will be a pure offense.

I will give Over 218 points with an 80% chance to happen. Those Clippers who aren't expected to play are more defensive type players.

But for who will win between them, I understand it's hard to choose but Lakers won't miss any of their key players so I think Lakers will take this one. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard also no need to push hard to win on this game if they see they can't handle the Lakers in the early quarters. Playoffs spot already secured. No homecourt advantage so seeding might not be prioritized by these top teams.

Thanks for that wonderful analysis, I read all the analysis here, I appreciate here, not for me but for all of us, but I will not put my bet right away, there's still plenty of time to bet, so I'll just wait at the right timing, as usual.  Cheesy
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 22, 2020, 10:52:19 PM
Same here, I'll go for Zion but I would vote for Ja Morant to win as the ROY as he is consistent this season, unlike Zion which was injured and rested for awhile. Let's see which team will advance in the playoffs and which player would be a great contributor to their team.

No need to vote as Ja Morant is the sure winner for Rookie of the Year.

I like to see the difference in their rookie stats if only Zion hasn't got injured.

Ja Morant is a sure winner, I agree with that and to see them play this NBA comeback is gonna be good for the fans as they will see which player will carry their team to success. No hate for both as I really like how they perform this season, hopefully they'll be healthy as they continue playing and improving.

For playoffs, it's now safe to say that Memphis already made it. 4 wins behind 8th is already an advantage and those teams on 8th below are considered strong teams too so consecutive wins at these bottoms teams are not that easy making Memphis 7th spot a sure spot.

Yes they have the advantage, but we never know since the venue is different, teams below their ranking are good teams too, we have the Blazers and the Spurs which are consistent in the playoffs, so who knows.

I think I'll consider this a good news if I don't know the reputation of BetKing in the forum, but no.. a scam site always have a dark reason behind the action. 4208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 22, 2020, 09:41:43 PM
If he said that then its  clear that they do go after for ticket sales - gate as you mentioned but they wouldnt able to know if they wont try about having that PPV thing.

This is business but they should consider on the current situation we are in. Its not really that easy to imply on the things that they do like nor prefer.

When it comes to profits then we can see the difference but whats more important is that this fight should really be resumed and accept on what revenue they would able to generate on this one.
The issue here is the boxing business model, the live gate belongs to the promoter and they will not let go of the huge amount and not many high profile fights takes place every year and it is possible that the promoters will delay the event as they earn around $10 to $20 million for these gates and if any promoter is willing to let go of these huge profits then we might see high profile fights and may be they are hoping that they could allow audience by the end of this year.

They are optimistic that the vaccine will be release this year, I am sure that's the only way live audience will be allowed, unless the fight will be held outside the territory of the USA. I read in the news before that the vaccine is not available this year, but other countries like Russia are saying they start reproducing the vaccine soon. https://www.thehindubusinessline.com/news/world/russias-covid-19-vaccine-to-be-available-for-public-by-next-month-report/article32137032.ece
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 22, 2020, 11:49:50 AM
I think this old article could help to estimate how big.

Bitcoin Gamblers Have Wagered $4.5 Billion in BTC Since 2014

BTC3 wagered per minute, imagine that. I'm sure that trend increases.
4.5$ billion in 2014?so what more after 6 years when we already knew how much money  wagered in gambling each day.

and as  gambler i also know how much i am spending each time i gamble.

so yeah we are having large amount involved here.

That was on wagered only, this site alone has over $3 billion wagered already, so that's very little if get the total from all crypto gambling sites.

4210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetBit Casino Gone? on: July 22, 2020, 11:35:51 AM
its really bad for you still keep your fund on that gambling website even the website already down for multiple time and went back online, 0.3 btc is really big amount that you can use to buy food for a several month. just visit the website now and same result, the website is totally down and cant be access, i think you should open scam accustion for this problem because their website has offline until now since you post it.

You can even live and use that 0.3 BTC for a year in my country it's a whole year salary for a normal employees .I feel bad to OP since it's a huge lost I can even take if I were in his situation. Its big lost but he need to accept that it's gone and the only thing we can do now is to open scam accusation so that website will never have anymore victim after his lost.
0.3BTC for a year salary?that is very cheap living mate and i can't imagine how to live having that amount for the whole year.

i think if i have that amount ?i would rather use the amount to open business and make a good living.
Some countries with poor economy, they don't require a high standard of living, one can live with that amount in a whole year but basically that would not mean living a comfortable life, anyway, I'm sure OP can afford to lose that amount of money he is gambling, its just unfortunate it was scam.

i will never spend all that amount for gambling or just to use for living,

the world needs right treatment.

and Money can make it go round lol.

You, me, and he, we have different way of spending our money, it might be big to you and to others but for some, it's  just peanuts.
4211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jeff Horn vs. Tim Tszyu on: July 22, 2020, 10:57:23 AM
Jeff Horn has the speed advantage, though I'm certain Tszyu has some tricks on his own sleeves to pull in this fight. I don't judge Horn for his obviouspaid fight against Pacquiao a few years back since the guy can hold himself up against a legend. I just hope that Tszyu gives him a hard time on the ring and make those feet work actual work to defend his name. Since that Pacquiao fight, most people believed that Horn isn't going to be better due to his dirty rounds and tactics. I hope he proves us wrong in this bout.
I'm sorry but Tim Tszyu has the speed here. I will compare his to Ricky Hatton way of boxing, some decent speed and power but more on the rough side and others could argue that it is borderline dirty like he did to Manny back then. After winning against Manny, he went to the US but didn't find success which really indicates that his win against Manny is fluke by itself, however, we can't change the L Manny suffers but it's questionable.

He beat Manny but people think he cheated, so people will not forget him, the hate is always in him and maybe that's reason we have more of us here will choose his opponent to win in the fight. I just like Horn because he is not a coward inside the right, he like to fight toe to toe, so the fight will never be boring.
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 22, 2020, 07:03:43 AM
If Wilder win then it could not be their last fight as Fury might request a rematch specially if they have rematch clause. I think the pressure is more on Wilder to perform better than the last fight obviously.
I don't think so. A trilogy on a fight is the longest we can have usually, it serves as the final conclusion for the rivalry. So if ever we get a Fury vs Wilder 4, I don't think it will sell to people like on its preceding fights because you know it gets boring to watch the same match up over and over again Grin.

Instead of demanding for a part 4, I guess it would be a better idea to taste new flavor lol. Hmm, maybe Fury vs Joshua?

I also don't like to see another fight, but if Wilder will win the fight, I think I might change my mind, you know, the hype will once again build up for the 3 fighters, Fury, Wilder, and AJ, they would be hype and that means more money for the promoters.

And add to that the money that it can generate + hype = big money for both of them. So there is a possibility if Wilder win in the trilogy. We all know that boxing is a big business that's why anything is possible and promoters know this.

And so far in that division they are the only three boxers, after that no more hype in the next 4-10 rankings. So obviously the money on that division only circles between Fury, Wilder and AJ.

Wilder always has a chance to win here, though we didn't see him doing good in the previous fight but boxing is also unpredictable and when there is money on it, anything can happen, including the word magic,... who knows, right?
4213  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 22, 2020, 06:27:42 AM
That's the worst situation in the future, your money will be a toilet paper, I think I can't accept that.

Sharing is caring, so thanks for the information, I will not ask anymore on what country you are living as I know every country suffers with this virus than until now there is no vaccine yet, hopefully our economy will recover soon and hopefully the vaccine will be out, if not, I'm afraid the worst scenario will happen.
4214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: July 22, 2020, 06:16:24 AM
You are right on this , there are several worthless bounty projects even the one that claimed to have IEO on a good Exchange still ended up folding up and Team apologized to bounty hunters after wasting time and resources to promote  the worthless project. But i think if you check well there are a few bounties that are already trading with a working project with bounty detective , lets believe they will pay at the end.

This is the kind of possibility that everyone should be willing to accept on, it's normal in the current situation now that only few projects will succeed, so we have to be realistic and just move on when we are not making money, there's still a lot of projects to promote, the best way to do is just don't join in a bounty that needs a long period to promote, so you will not feel the pain so much.
4215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 21, 2020, 11:22:30 PM
The question should be if ICOs are still profitable and not if they are legit.

You got it. That's why I'm trying to emphasize too.

people wants to invest in legit ICO but they are too ignorant to assume that once it's legit, they will make profit.

Investing in ICO or crowdsale is good as long as you go with the legit ones, but you have to condition your mind that it's not for short term, mostly it's for long term that you have to wait until the project is developed to offer the best services or its used case to the public, and not only that, it's already necessary that the market will be bullish so the whole market will be appreciated, as of now, all eyes are on bitcoin and major altcoins, we need to change that for altcoins to progress.
4216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 21, 2020, 10:55:56 PM
Eventually they will learn, crypto is not a kind of investment where we can get rich quickly, it's not a HYIP or Ponzi scheme which some people are thinking. There are people I know that said they invested in bitcoin and they earn at least 20% per month, that's shitty knowing I'm in crypto and I can't convince them that they are into a possible scam investment, so I just let them do their team and hopefully they'll learn.
4217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Working for 4 to 6 or 12 weeks even 6 month's, ending up unsatisfied on: July 21, 2020, 10:42:17 PM
If you only work in one project alone, you'll probably not gonna get a decent amount of reward regardless on the number of months you are working.
The market now is not as attractive as before, yes IEO is better and safer but it has not achieve the kind of success ICO has before, unfortunately  ICO is already dead, so my advise is,  if you are tired working for bounty now, better wait on the altcoins season, as for sure there will be more opportunity that time, or if you still persist, better hold your rewards and wait for the right timing to sell.
4218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 21, 2020, 10:23:07 PM
Those that are in bold text are the kind of wins we like to achieve, with a little capital , we can turn our money into a huge amount.

Anyone's target. But for that to achieve, you really need a big bag of patience.

Only parlay I think is the key for small bets to get a big win (when I say big, almost a jackpot) in sports betting unless there's a Moneyline odds out there offering a x999 on which I called it rare even in live betting for underdogs or for a team that is behind a large lead.

There are millions of sports bettors but only few do have notable winnings. That's how lucky they are.

I never bet on live betting with x999 odds as I think they would just lose anyway.

Usually, I put my parlay bet during pre-game so I could analyze carefully and try to find the best odds with best payout, winning millions is my dream but haven't tried putting a parlay on it, maybe I'll take it step by step,  Smiley
4219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 21, 2020, 12:11:20 PM
Those are really some worrying betting decisions. It will really change your whole life once you won these kind of betting situations BUT you need to make sure that you are making it with your own decision and not just following somebody else's speculation. This really shows that the higher the risk, the higher the reward.

That high stake should be worrying, but these people betting that high are gamblers, they don't worry as they are professional, especially Billy Walters.
For those small bets with big winnings, there's nothing to worry, it should be the house who should worry if they win.  Grin
4220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: July 20, 2020, 10:16:39 PM
Not in crypto investing or investing in a bankroll, we never know when a casino will go dark, that's part of the risk, so no long term, unless we know how to diversify our funds and I like to emphasize that 34% in year is good for me, if I can invest a decent amount, if not , no. '

like this one, a casino is on exit scam - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262521.0

Yeah but you cant really compare them two sites.
Of course there will always be that small risk but BetBit already had shady activities.
The ratings of that site were already bad before the went out dark and stole funds...

Of course its important to be sure where you invest and keep an eye on the site!
I think every gambling always has the most important risk is your courage to face it and of course everything requires a clear and relaxed mind, gambling with a cool head is more convincing and of course if an investment that is always watched by your eyes will only make you tired, look for a good investment place and not make you monitor every day.

You'll be able to relax and keep calm if you trust yourself and you trust the site you are investing with your money.
Also, it's very important that you know the risk and accept that you can lose money, that way, you'll not be surprise once you lose with your investment.
