4201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: September 25, 2016, 05:29:26 PM
No, thank you. After what Hitler and Stalin and many others (over 6) did after the gun control method, I prefer not to do it..... It's the way I'm at least sure I have my self defense assured. Taking my gun is like taking my armor off. Do you really think terrorism will disappear after taking our guns? No. It's just them still being there and us without protection.
4202  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 25, 2016, 05:24:19 PM
I might have to sell even if the price hasn't reached my sell target yet. Although I am still at a gain with what I have bought in the last few months, it is still not at the level where I could have maximized my profits. But then again, a gain is a gain, whatever way you put it. I'll just keep on earning and buying a small amount so I could somehow have additional investment for the future.

Yes, because it is our decision and no one can change it.  If the need arise then we should sell our bitcoins if we really needed it.  It is okay also to sell some if we feel that we need it.  Earning is the way to have more bitcoins since buying some feels like a loss for me if you still have not gain anything when you buy them before.

If you are earning it then you should not worry in selling them at the time of emergencies, as if you work on it you can again get them back, but people who are buying it as an investment will prefer to hold them in long term.

Yes there are some situations that we need to consider and if some incidents comes as emergency then you must need to sell your bitcoins and you need that to convert into cash. Just like me, I am just holding some of my bitcoins for a long time but when I ran out of allowance then I don't have choice but to sell my bitcoins.

You might use the bitcoin as a collateral to borrow fiat to deal with the emergency. But if you have to sell, then just sell.

Good idea. It's easier like this for me for example, as I'm living in a country where BTC isn't popular at all. I never relied on Bitcoin though and I never will, so to make sure I will never touch my savings I prefer to 'forget' about my saved amount and try to only go for cash. If I didn't have BTC saved up, what would have I done?
4203  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: September 25, 2016, 05:14:50 PM
Selling everything would not be my idea because of the fact that its not really smart to do with these nice prices.
Its better too wait on a higher amount if you are asking me.
I think it would be a good idea if you sell all of your bitcoin when pump prices were or are at the top, and then you can wait for prices to go back down and buy it again
But, the big problem must be we will not know when the bitcoin price will hit peak levels, without knowing that trying to sell to make good profit must lead to huge losses. Usually selling everything is so dangerous, because we need to sell similar to how we bought. Selling slowly will safeguard from future good price levels.

Sell a part of them if its allowing you to make profits and keep rest for the future as we don't know what price it will hold in future and if price goes higher then we can sell remaining coins at that time.

For me if you believe that the price of bitcoin is going to be better in the next few months or years then it is better if you are not going to sell. But if you are just depending on your money with bitcoins and you really need to sell it then that is going to fine. As long as you are able to use your profit in bitcoins in more meaningful way.

If nothing is going to happen like civil unrest soon, then it's most likely for Bitcoin to rise next year because the halving took place this one. It's the second time this happens, and the first time it did... The price went up to an amazing amount: $10 to $1.3k.
4204  Economy / Economics / Re: The next financial crisis and Bitcoin on: September 25, 2016, 05:03:48 PM
We should have reason to believe that the next financial crisis that had a magnitude as big as the one during 2008 will be a test on Bitcoin as sound money. Please read the Bitcoin white paper if you still have not done so. In the paper it cites some instances in the modern banking system where Satoshi does not agree with or what he sees as wrong. I think the 2008 financial crisis was a big motivator for him to create the Bitcoin protocol to prove that we can have a currency that is free from the influence of banks. Before another financial crisis happens we should keep hoarding as much BTC as we can.

Thoughts?

Very good thought and i think it will really give people to think on this problem to solve it, as if this time more country will be suffering from financial crisis. and through bitcoin we can survive it.

Not all of us.. I, for example, wouldn't be able to survive with Bitcoin because it's like not even existing in my country. If a financial crisis will be coming, I wouldn't be able to use Bitcoin at all. To do so, I will have to travel hundreds of kilometers which is too much.
4205  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 05:00:07 PM
You should only borrow Bitcoin if you REALLY need it ASAP. If you don't, try to earn through other methods: signature campaigns, services, e-jobs.
4206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: September 25, 2016, 04:34:59 PM
I think the reason people still keep their coins on an exchange is that they don't want to lose that small part of their money which they should pay for withdrawing. This approach is not a good one though. You should easily accept losing a small fraction of your money in order to not lose much more.

That is really a foolish thing if really someone thinks that, being that much miser would probably cost you, for just paying 0.1% or something on withdraw fees you put all 100% of your money under risk? Is that wise at all?

It's an illogical way of thinking. I've bought $100 worth of Monero, but I couldn't buy it all at once so I had to buy 5 times to reach the sum. After 5 transactions, I have lost 1 Monero which means $10. This means I'm left with $90.. It's a misery but I still prefer losing $10 rather than risking $100.
4207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 25, 2016, 04:28:18 PM
It is really boring if the task that you do everyday is repetitive or doesn't have a challenge or thrill. Or you don't have a passion for it. I think if it wasn't for money involved in bitcoin only less people will get attracted to it. Only few people understands all about bitcoin, most of us just thinks it is a way to earn extra money.

If earning bitcoin would be boring then nobody would have spent their time on this forum, everyone is investing their time here so that can earn good money from it.

Well I have to agree with OP that most of the tasks you can do are boring. Especially with bitcoin it seems that you do mostly brain dead tasks, but that in a way is logic since you don't need skills for most of those tasks. If you go to a game that requires more skill it won't be that boring anymore.

For poor countries, earning on this forum might mean getting RICH. For us it seems like nothing to get $5 a week, but for others it's a lot. You also don't have any requirement to join signature campaigns, so you're earning money here in an equal amount whether you got more or less knowledge than others.
4208  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice 100% win rate? on: September 25, 2016, 04:24:12 PM
This is gambling in casinos not sports betting. Here it is luck which is all that matters. Getting a 100% win rate is very possible for a very lucky person, but the question is "for how long?" once the player runs out of luck they will lose again. So it is technically not possible to get a 100% win rate since the house edge will make you go bust at some point of time.

100% win rate never happens not even in sports betting. you will end up losing sometime and even if you have a  100% win rate it means you have only been playing for a very short time and you have only a couple of bets.

but yeah there is a better chance of winning in sports betting that there is in playing dice  because of the skills you use there.

There is much different between sportbetting and dice games though because when you play dice you need some luck mean while if you do some sportbetting what you really need is good analyze to guarantee your winning. Btw how can skills does matter in dice games? I dont think that skills have any effect on your result
The difference between dice betting and sport betting is that in the former you have no way to alter the house edge while in the latter with enough skill you could overcome the house edge in a bet and come home as a winner.

With dice betting, you got absolutely ZERO chances to know what number awaits ahead. You're always uncertain about what result you'll get. But with sport betting, you can at least rely on your knowledge about the respective team...
4209  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online... on: September 25, 2016, 04:21:47 PM
Gambling ain't steady, it is very risky, trading can be steady if you are a pro, I recommend you signature campaign is the most steady way to make bitcoin.

Yup.. It's been more than one month since I have joined the 777Coin signature campaign and I'm more than happy with it. Cheesy
4210  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 25, 2016, 02:37:59 PM
Actully im buying bitcoin when the price is low or cheap then im gonna save it for long term and waiting for the bitcoin to incease the price then sell it again or convert it into fiat and waiting again to become cheap of bitcoin and sometimes i trade my bitcoin into other alt coins to grow .

Probably one of everyone's reasons for using Bitcoin. It's a little bit sad that we're using Bitcoin just as a trading or gambling currency. We should spread the word to many more people and try to make it popular worldwide. This also increased our price.
4211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you tell in public that you use bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 02:31:05 PM
Of course I do. Talking about something is the best way of advertising it (think about the moment when you heard of Coke's impressive taste, about a delicious food etc.. did you buy it?).
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 25, 2016, 08:26:02 AM
Invest only, and avoid gambling not matter how much you feel lucky that day, investing is risky but not as risky as gambling is, even if you will earn less than from gambling

Investing in the bankroll is profitable most of the time. Casinos aren't made to give us money but to entertain us. This is what I found one year ago, and it's real. If we would've got that much money and became rich overnight from gambling, nobody would've worked right now and went gambling instead. Think about it.
4213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins users are what is holding Bitcoin back on: September 25, 2016, 07:37:44 AM
What do you see bitcoin in the next 10-15 years ? If you see it as a currency that is accepted everywhere, it cannot become that without safeguarding the users from the scams. Escrow is actually the best thing there is for that purpose.

Also there are already sites where you can buy bitcoins directly with a CC.

How can we safeguard them from scams if they are the ones pushing toward pyramid schemes and such things? We cannot do that unless they wake up. We've had so many scams lately and people still do not understand that they NEED to be secure 10 out of 10 times. Bitcoin is seen by most of us ad a trading currency.. For many, it's being considered as being like a poker chip for gambling. In many countries like mine, Bitcoin hasn't even been heard by many.
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: September 25, 2016, 07:12:20 AM
Is it really true that if someone want to earn big from gambling he need to make a higher bets? Yes he can also loose but if he is lucky enough he can earn big amounts too. People can not make profits with lower bet amounts like .05 etc. you need a higher amounts bets.
0.05 is little big you can also do 0.1 martingale which is so risky i saw a guy won like 50 btc by doing this and some other 1 btc bet low payout he made some and he already withdraw it after he made some profit

We heard stories about gamblers win big with small amount of bankroll. I even experienced this one before - my bankroll was just 0.002 btc and I made it to 0.26+ btc in a day. However, because of greed, I never stop and continue playing and lost it all. I should have stop and cashout. Well, I learned a good lesson that day.

You can become rich even from a penny if you are lucky enough. It's all about taking the risks and accepting the lost. Higher bank rolls won't do anything but make you lose even more most of the time.

4216  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: September 24, 2016, 10:26:43 PM
bitcoin is very flexible to use online. You can trade, buy digital goods like mobile loads.

You can do anything with it, it's more than a currency. You cannot print out money but Bitcoin. It's awesome but it's anonymous so I think it's not going to live for much long.
4217  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much do you earn per day on: September 24, 2016, 10:25:05 PM
Sadly i am not earning any decent amount of bitcoin daily or on a weekly basis as i am still a member here and with my signature campaign i can only earn 0.0025 bitcoins on a weekly basis so i am trying hard and try to provide some extra services to increase my daily earnings.
0.0025 weekly thats not bad than nothing bitcoin its not easy to earn. Do hard working for it for you to earn big 0.0025bitcoin in a week is better than claim faucets. And keep on posting for your rank up and your salary is getting higher. Be patience that is what you do.

I'm earning 0.012 per week with my signature campaign and I'm more than happy with it. In the last weeks I had a lot of trouble to solve so I couldn't post too much but now I'm back. Grin
4218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Earn Bitcoin FAST on: September 24, 2016, 10:23:17 PM
Maybe from signature campaigns, trading. But is their any way to earn bitcoin fast?
to get bitcoin quickly without working hard of course there are the gambling choice, because you can become rich in an instant using gambling, but you also have to know the risks that exist in bitcoin

The risks aren't because of Bitcoin. It's the way we're using it. Bitcoin has nothing to do with you being greedy and losing. Gambling is a mistake, don't try to make money just from that.
4219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 24, 2016, 10:20:45 PM
Since OP's already got 0.5BTC out of trading, then it seems like he already knows how to do it. New altcoins keep coming and there's already thousands of altcoins out there to trade. Altcoin trading is a job that doesn't seem to stop anytime soon. He should just continue doing that. Signature campaign doesn't pay that much but it would surely help you grow your Bitcoins.

Yes there is no reason to stop what you are doing if you already found a way where you can earn money. Remember it is very hard to get an actual hold of how altcoin trading works. if you know how the trading game is played, don't throw away that knowledge.

I wish I knew how to effectively trade too. It's one of my 'dreams' but I haven't got much time to study it for now. Grin
4220  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 24, 2016, 10:17:21 PM
Saving money is not that hard but it can be hard when you do not make much money then it looks like saving money doesn't really works out. But even when you cannot put much money on the side it is still smart to do that.
I think saving money is a difficult thing, if the store is a simple matter of course there are many people who become rich, because they are easier to keep their money and do not wasteful

It isn't that difficult anymore when it's needed. I think most of us went through these moments when we needed something but had no money on us - if you really want to, you can do it.
