4201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: March 10, 2020, 03:33:46 AM
Oh thank you!
I have the same opinion.
It is just that the virus is going viral and then a sudden plunge in the bitcoin price which happens all the time with or without any virus, war or whatever event is going on the world.
If it is not about crypto currencies then it should not be connected with it.

For example: Satoshi suddenly comes out.
Yeah, that would mean a lot of movement in bitcoin price.
Fear of selling or the hype of buying more.  Wink
4202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 10, 2020, 02:04:10 AM

What I understand about Botnake said is that the line of 224 is quite high as an opening line, so most probably people will bet the under as 224 is high and they think they'll hit their bet as they think it's gonna be a low scoring game.
Yeah, it just got so confusing at the end with all the explanation.  Grin

For example, before, the warriors and rockets are both a high scoring game and the line opened up like 210, of course people should be pounding that over as they think it's too easy considering both teams are a high scoring team, however, after the game the result is under,  so the public loses as their perception is wrong and they didn't figure out that the line is a trap.
Good thinking.
But as for my own opinion, it is because of the Jazz defensive strategy.
Snyder might change the way they will play if it is the Raptors they are up against.
An offensive team which needs to be stopped with every possession. Don't know. I might just be a little crazy.
Well, it is almost the half and Raptors is at lead. (50)
Edit: 57 at halftime.

Hawks and Hornets look like an even match at OT now. This is why I never took the risk to bet with any.
4203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 09, 2020, 03:39:25 PM

The last time I remember you almost hit a parlay with one loss in the leg, I feel you man but just keep trying, believe in yourself, as long as there are NBA games, your journey will never be over.  Grin

Still hoping for a perfect one.
I do have some single bets too. Most of them wins but just enough to equal the loss from the parlay.

Picks.

Raptors no handicap. Fred is the only one injured. 3 streaks winning on road I guess they could also take this one.
No Giannis, yes problem.  Grin Denver -5.5

I'll stay with just two games now.
Want to try total scores too in single bets.
Like under 224.5 for Jazz vs Raptors. This might become a defensive game.
4204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 09, 2020, 02:23:56 PM
So what can we call this?
Ain't this already a panic?
We are looking at a large scale of decline in just a small amount of time.
People might have started to worry because of the FUD's that had been spread out. i.e. CoronaVirus which is being connected to the bitcoin market.
Even without facts to back it up, some may have already believed in it without even seeking for proof.
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 09, 2020, 12:20:37 PM
PG13 was hot on the 1st half.
But, I didn't think Avery Bradley could go hotter. That 3rd quarter of him changed the pace of the game for the Lakers
6/12 in the 3 point line.  Shocked Something you don't see everyday.
It's like he became the Danny Green for that game.  Cheesy

Is Clippers missing something here? They have a good forward Harrell then Kawhi and PG13. Something which can create better offense and defense. It is just difficult to analyze when this two LA are playing against.
4206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of good marketing on: March 09, 2020, 10:42:06 AM
Forgotten. That is the right word for it.

They are trying to make others work for what should be done by them first.
They just want to sit around and claim all the money from the offering.
Also one of the reasons why so much are failing. There is already a fact that creating a unique project is difficult for them and yet, they will make it more difficult by not introducing it in a better way.

They will just put all in bounties with a little percentage of the whole amount of token and do the magic. As if magic is real.
4207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does the Coronavirus (Covid-19) make BTC to rise? on: March 09, 2020, 05:32:40 AM
Looks to me like the FUD worked.
Using the virus as the reason for the down price of stock market and then connecting it to bitcoin.

What the heck is happening?
Is this dip really from that virus or we are the virus who spread a bad news all over the world specially in social media.
We may be the reason to make it fall down in just a little amount of time.
4208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 09, 2020, 03:40:52 AM

Picks.

Bucks -6.5 Lose
Cavs +5.5 (Thomson is out for Cavs but so does Aldridge of Spurs) More minutes for Nance. Thinking of no handicap.  Smiley Won
Heat -4.5 Won

Pacers(my pick) vs Dallas w/out handicap.  Won

How about OKC vs Celtics. They are giving OKC a good number with a healthy roster. Homecourt advantage though for the Celtics but without Brown. Won

Crap! With all my bets why does it have to be Bucks which will lose.
That was my first pick which I am really sure to win even without Giannis.
Against Suns? Does this really mean they always need Giannis? There is Khris, Bledsoe and Lopez. The hell!

Cannot even perfect 1 whole bet even just once and then the strongest of all in East will be the one to lose.
I am freaking filled with emotions now. Bad ones.  Cry
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 08, 2020, 04:06:23 PM
11 games for later.
Best game will be Clippers vs Lakers.
Worse is Bulls vs Nets. Both teams have their stars in the injury department.

Picks.

Bucks -6.5
Cavs +5.5 (Thomson is out for Cavs but so does Aldridge of Spurs) More minutes for Nance. Thinking of no handicap.  Smiley
Heat -4.5

Pacers could have been on a good winning streak but was just stopped by the Bucks.
Really want to risk something with this huge number of games.
Pacers(my pick) vs Dallas w/out handicap.

How about OKC vs Celtics. They are giving OKC a good number with a healthy roster. Homecourt advantage though for the Celtics but without Brown.
4210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 08, 2020, 12:46:47 PM
The NBA just sent a memo on every teams that there might some cases where they're going to play in an empty arena, without the attendance of the fans and media.
But they are still considering some disadvantages if they going to push this to happen.

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/03/07/nba-tells-teams-to-prep-plans-for-games-without-fans-due-to-coronavirus.html

Infact, there are some NBA players who doesn't like the idea of playing without the fans. Including LeBron.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2020/biz/news/laker-lebron-james-not-playing-nba-ban-fans-coronavirus-nba-1203527042/amp/

I guess there are still necessary options left so the NBA can still continue to play with the fans in the arena, such as strict implementation of checking the temperatures and health conditions of every person that comes to the game, including the players, staff, and coach.

What's your thoughts in this issue?
I guess, without the fans, there were no homecourt advantage right? As well as the betting odds might adjust to this.

That will be a big problem.
Even up until now there are those who escapes airport checking or in malls.
I don't think they could stop the fans from entering the court though.
Still different when you are watching it live. But if it is the NBA management who will propose this kind of method also for the health of players and fans then they could do nothing about it.

They can still make money with pay per view. Though it will be a big cut to their profits.
4211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 08, 2020, 11:01:29 AM
if I'm not mistaken, things that smell of cryptocurrency also appear on Deadpool movies, it's just that I don't know whether Deadpool goes into Hollywood Movies or not.

Really? Deadpool too?
I will watch both 1 and 2 again later on.

It seems like I have been missing those parts because I don't usually use subtitles.
Even if just one word of crypto currency, bitcoin or blockchain will be worth the watch again.
Besides, it is a good movie so it will be fun.
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 08, 2020, 09:17:25 AM
The Claw and PG's leadership is something that not intimidating their teammates but instead they are providing good plays.
Indeed, they're not taking all the spotlight. Even they are already well known NBA superstars, they still know how to give way in their teammates. They are helping them to shine by giving assists to them or more time of playing. Like on the case of Williams, he is in when Kawhi is out (assuming that they control the game) thus having more time to showcase his talent especially in three point shooting Smiley.

Honestly, Clippers vs Bucks in the Finals is interesting as well. This is the battle of "rynamic duos", if Kawhi/PG got Williams then Giannis got Middleton Grin.
More like a trio to me.
Clippers is so damn strong even their roleplayers are almost like stars of NBA.
Lou Williams specially. That guy have made his way being the 6th man of the year and over and over again.  Grin 3 times to be exact.
He is supposed to be a star now which is in the first five of one team but I think he just want it that way.

He can shoot, he can make his way to the rim. He can really score. An offensive guy.
Bucks is something else to talk about.
I want to see more with Bledsoe. It's like he is becoming on and off and that is not good if you want the championship.
4213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 08, 2020, 04:33:04 AM
I love it when members like you makes an effort of jotting down every error of a project.
This is pure effort. Merits for you.

It is not easy to see all of this.
Most of them are hidden or if not bounty hunters doesn't care.
Indeed this will be a great help but only for those who cares.
Most of them just want money and will just blindly do anything for it.

You did well. Thumbs up!  Wink
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 08, 2020, 03:17:20 AM
Those screenshots look like they are photoshopped.  Grin
I don't think i've ever seen a team open up a game with 20-0 run either, but in Rockets defense, Hornets played a lot of zone d which as you all know can disrupt someone's offense (7 TO in 5 minutes). They just got make their open corner 3s, if Hornets continue to stay in that 2-3 zone.

I think Warriors scored 20 in a row in the finals this year (don't remember which game it was).

FH: Hornets 57 : 43 Rockets

edit; arghhh! bum ass rockets lost

Covington could make some good number like he fills the spot of Eric Gordon but without Westbrook they tend to lose most of the times.
I am also rooting for the Rockets there.
It was actually a good game of both small line up.
The game was in fast pace but I think Rockets missing 2 players breaks their good rotation.
Somehow, D'Antoni will need to put a little effort into making new arrangements whenever 1 or 2 stars is not around.
4215  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 07, 2020, 02:58:12 PM
Too crazy.
Enough  with stupidity.

You can buy all the mask you want but it won't stop the arms which they made.
It is reacting with the financial industry but it never says that it would affect the crypto market.
Investors have their own perspective with what is happening and they have their own decision.
They might be scared but not everyone.
I have read the news that it is also near my village but I am still not freaking out.
This is something which we should be calm about.
4216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 07, 2020, 07:29:04 AM
Let see how this game will ends up both are playing good and both are  taking the game seriously.
Lakers win the game, we have James and Davis combine with 67 points, and although Giannis had some pretty good game, but he can't beat the 2 stars of the Lakers, if Lakers keep doing this, they will be a big threat, they beat the Bucks now, so they have a big chance in the finals if both teams will play against each other.

Khris Middleton didn't have the good night which he always had.
Playing for 36 minutes, he just made 12 points. That is not the Middleton that I know. 2/10 in the 3 point line.
Same thing which happened against the Heat. It is like he is showing his weakness with this team.
Or is it just good defense?

Same goes with Bledsoe. 5/13 FG.
If they are going to play in the Finals, this things should not happen.
Might as well showcase it now to make other teams tremble when playing with them.
4217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 07, 2020, 04:09:48 AM

PICK : Pelicans -1.5
Congrats stadus. You did it again.
Sorry I am hard headed again for not following you.  Grin

1/3 for me but it was at parlay so I still lose everything.
Pelicans really need that win, thankfully they did take 1 from the Heat.
Hawks also losing against the Wizards at Bradley Beal's monster game.

Now watching Lakers vs Bucks. Giannis already aggressive at the start.
4218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 07, 2020, 02:26:14 AM

I'm more interested in stuff that'll emerge from stories that originate from the scene itself rather than having it glued to the usual dross. If the full truth ever emerges about Silk Road that would make for a fascinating flick.

Last time was just a documentary encircling about silk road, bitcoin and politics.
Something like a movie but base on true story will be better.

@OP- I watched a lot of films too and heard some of cryptocurrency and bitcoin on their discussion. If Im not mistaken some part on the Marvels Avenger series it was also noted. I'm not sure which one it is. But only an insertion on such discussion they are having. Anyway will search a lot I know, there are more that we missed aside from your list.
The best way is to put subtitles in it.
I have been watching some of the Marvel again but now I input a subtitle just to not miss some words that will come out of their mouth.  Grin
It is also easier to catch up.
English accents are also difficult to understand most of the time. They are really good at using their language.
4219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 06, 2020, 04:28:57 PM

But this game is fun to watch, either Lakers or Bucks, both are good picks as they are even now.
Miami Heat were able to stop the Greek Freak , let's see if the Lakers can, betting on the home team here, Lebron is underestimated.

Both are in their healthy roster so yes, it might really be a good fight.
I might bet later on but just for a single bet. Just for fun. To keep myself excited from watching the game.
But I am sure I will be with Bucks here.

Although last time was Bucks (homecourt) win, this time might really be different.
It could be a revenge for Lakers. My beers are already cold for this match.  Wink
4220  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 06, 2020, 02:58:28 PM
KYP does not solve the issue of companies being careless with the data we provide them.

What consumers need is a transparent way of how companies treat our data, or eat least penalties severe enough for the companies in order for them to get scared should our data get leaked, sold or misused in any way or form. Provider details are usually seen on their whois, and could be followed-up on a trip to the government agencies responsible for registering them--that is if legal action is needed or whatnot.

Knowing the faces of those who run the show does not provide any guarantee that our data will not be compromised.

This explanations is like the shallow of all. Some are really deep that I could not understand it anymore.
Well, thank you for that.

First time I heard about KYP and I am still curious about how far it could go.
KYC though is something which is really scary for most of us users here specially if we are leaving our currencies in exchanges.
This is also why there are a lot of members here who always tell to not leave it for a long time in exchanges specially those who are registered to them with all the information.

Transparency and privacy. Could this two be married? I don't think so.
They cannot show how the privacy is being done. That is why it is private.
But if explained in a way that would only be understood by those who studied it like programming then not much people would care.
So how?
